Nice surprise
The hotel was a pleasant surprise. Comfortable clean and had everything I needed to make my stay comfortable. From my check in to my dinner and check out staff was incredible
Great stay, friendly staff, clean rooms. Elda was great. 👍

Very good stay, great breakfast, very friendly staff.
Overall good
Like this place
Short business trip, reception and bar staff were excellent. Room clean, especially like the bathroom, bed and quality of the wifi
The AC was not working and they had us jumping from room to room and accidentally gave us a wrong key and made us go to another room yet again. Mind you, we were only there for 3 days and they didn’t even offer to help us move the luggages when they jumped us from 5 different rooms
Hotel is beautiful and modern. The rooms and lobby are very clean and have a very pleasing decor and aesthetic. I think that what I enjoyed the most was the neighborhood. We were in walking distance to many local restaurants that were filled with Romans not tourists. The best food we had in all of Italy was in the neighborhood surrounding the hotel. Also the staff was very friendly and helpful. Check in was a breeze and they even coordinated our pickup for the airport.
The hotel has restaurants inside that make your stay more pleasant.
Comfortable
Amazing staff.
Great Breakfast, and very helpful staff
Great stay
Lovely lobby, very friendly staff at the reception and the lobby bar. Good service in generale.
Clean rooms, very good breakfast.
The lady checking is in was unnecessarily snarky, but aside from that, it was a nice hotel clean sheets, clean bathroom, and the gentlemen at the bar/restaurant, were exceptional.just to keep in mind, if you are travelling as a family/ friends/ coworkers, the glass to the bathroom is a bit see through.
It was great all the way around
The hotel is located in a busy through way. The neighborhood is walkable during the day, but areas to the east were questionable for walking at night. The city bus was about a 400 meter walk up the street. The coliseum was about 30 minutes by bus. There were some good restaurants on the area, but most operate on Italian dinner hours. This is not a bad thing, you just have to be aware of it.
Staff very friendly, limited English , parking cost 12 euro a day , you can parking right out side and save the money if you do park down under the hotel lighting is limited and be carful when entering the entrance steep slope , also when trying to get the parking ticket out of the machine very awkward position home however the elevator 2 entrances away . The hotel needs a face cleaning the outside is dim and looks dirty . The hotel is next to an abandoned building that is being worked on not very attractive, We had a min suite it was great however the air condition was not working that well. The heat was good if you needed it. As for the room it was huge one of the biggest rooms I ever stayed in and we were there for 11 days , the shower is very uncomfortable getting in and out there is a tub you must climb into and very slippery and very tight . The glass doors do not close all the way and the floor gets soaked . As for the TV all stations are in Italian and there’s no way to change it no matter what you do and that’s awesome Per staff. The only channel in English was the BBC channel. As for the frig it is a min and there is no microwave. They give you 2 espresso coffees you make . For a min suite you would think they would have dressers . You only have 2 night table with 2 little drawers. There is a place to hang your clothes near the bathroom and 3 min drawers . Daily cleaning I done . Btw the bed was Two twins together making a king size bed, and it was comforta
The hotel looks nice from the outside, the service is nice, the rooms need renovation, the wallpaper in the rooms is peeling, the bathrooms are moldy, dirty, my daughter was probably bitten by bedbugs. I think it's some mistake with these four stars, I don't even want to write about it. I hope I didn't bring bedbugs to the hotel. home?
The check-in was poor. The staff lied and lied and lied. This booking was an extension to a 12-night stay we already had. I requested a late checkout to the existing room on 2nd October, which was agreed to be 13:00. Then, I requested an early check-in for this booking; I was told we could check in at 11:00. I check this twice, once on Sunday (1st) evening and then once on Monday morning (2nd) at 07:00 with Chiara at the front desk. However, we were thrown out of the existing room at 10:00, with no one admitting we'd been told we could have a late checkout. The front desk refused to honour the agreement we'd made to have a 13:00 checkout. Then, we were not allowed the early check-in to the new room we had requested and had that your staff (Chiara) agreed to. We entered the room at 14:20, after the standard check-in time. This is an appallingly lousy level of customer service; promising and agreeing to our requests and then refusing to honour them is unacceptable. Aside from that, the rooms were never cleaned to a good standard for the rating of the hotel. I could regularly sweep dust off surfaces.

On August 28 we woke up and could not sleep since 3am due to hotel Alarm Mal function on 5th floor where we stayed and we informed the hotel, but it was not fixed until we checked out on August 29, 2023 and no idea if they fixed after we left.
Amazing breakfast with great restaurants staff and the front desk is phenomenal
Location is about 20-25 minutes from Rome City Center, taxi is about $20 to go and $30 to come back however also easy with public transportation (which takes you longer approximately 35min) Our room, which was a superior deluxe room, has loose carpet with bubbles under them and looked horrible and wasn’t very clean. Dust on the tv, the remote hasn’t been cleaned/sanitized properly, bathroom has traces of soap on the tub. Balcony was very dirty. The staff was friendly, however when I called reception to ask for an iron and iron board, I had to call 3 times since they took an hour and a half to get it to us, which is time we could’ve spend in Rome instead of waiting in our hotel room. We weren’t able to enjoy or try their breakfast since it’s only until 10AM. We did enjoy complimentary water and the late checkout. All by all not the worse, but certainly just average.
Nice location
Gym and swiming pool will make it more interesting .
Clean and tidy
Nice stay
The hotel is at quite residential location between homes , nice place you will feel dome strange in the beginning there are supermarket and laundry close to it The best a nice cafe we loved few steps away cheap and nice called costa something The hotel focuses on events most of the days We meet a lot of tourists Downtown are around 5 miles away could be reached by taxi or bus number160 in the opposite of the church Staff are nice helpful The furniture is some how new compared to old downtown hotels I tried breakfast once 15 Euro each person but we preferred to eat at the cafe atmosphere was awesome there Generally I advise for this hotel , the area was peaceful and quite
Reception is not so friendly and very slow / inefficient. Housekeeping staff is very friendly. Food is great.
the staff was absolutely horrible i have never had worst communication than here. it is astonishing how little they honestly care about the guest we had someone attempt to open our door for an hr in the middle of the nighr and we called the front desk who responded with sure we will look at it and we never heard back we complained to the front desk for 3 nights after that and all we wanted was a room change or some confirmation amd we got nothing after the 3rd day they finally told us theyd put us in a different room but then that room wasnt even ready until 11pm we were already in bed and only had 1 more night so we decided to just deal with it. i will do everything possible to avoid them in the future truly an awful experience
Modern hotel lovely breakfast poor view of adjacent building.
The rooms are not really clean. The plats, the forks, spoons, and the cups are very smelly. The place is not close to the city center. They mentioned in their website that there is a scheduled rwgulary bus goes to the city center, unfortunately, that was not true!.
It was a lovely stay! I was there for a week and the room was stunning, and staff went above and beyond when our luggage got delayed by the airline. I couldn’t recommend more!
The room was fine but the air condition do not work properly and is too far from the main attractions.
Convenient and clean, staff also responsive and helpful
Liked this hotel and stayed several times. Very modern comfortable clean and friendly staff. Would recommend to those who prefer comfortable quiet hotel away from city centre.
Fraying 4 Star Hotel Needs Help
Don’t walk around your room without socks. Bed was comfortable but not a true king as it was two beds pushed together. Otherwise, the rooms are heavily worn and showing their age. Minor repairs not completed such as a leaky toilet, fraying carpet, cracked glass. The carpet in my room was not vacuumed and was never vacuumed during my stay even though this was pointed out to the staff. There were food crumbs, dirt, and other debris left by previous guests. The soap/shampoo in the shower was empty upon arrival and never refilled during my stay. The hand soap near the sink was low and did run out during my stay and it was never refilled as well. I was offered another room and I did view the other room but was unable to open the window for fresh air and decided to keep the original room. The condition of the second room was similar to the condition of the first. The water pressure was good but there wasn’t a sufficient number of electrical outlets in the room to plug in phone, laptop, and other items simultaneously even at the desk.
This is 2nd time staying at this hotel which is modern beautiful and comfortable. They have hotel shuttle bus makes it easy and convenient to go into city centre for a small fee. Wonderful breakfast buffet. will stay again next time in Rome. Grazie !!
Uncomfortable stay over all
There was hair on my pillows and in the bathroom when I arrived. The room temperature was extremely uncomfortable and there was no way of adjusting it. The mattress was old and I could feel the springs. I could not get a proper night sleep here for 3 nights ofy stay. I will avoid staying there ever again.
Property was located outside of city centre. Shuffle service provided until 9pm. Very uncomfortable bed, had to check out a day early and stay in another hotel.
Hotel is new beautiful and very modern room and comfortable bed. Hotel breakfast buffet is wonderful and has lots of variety. Hotel has wonderful shuttle services going into and back from Rome Centre about 10 mins away for small fee.
Staff are outstanding and helpful the room was clean and tidy
All staff did a great job! This really an impressive journey. But the last night is expenssive.
Hotel support services almost non existent.if you need something you need to do it yourself. We asked to check the shower and nobody came. Air con is too hot, it’s just like a fan.
Great hotel with a friendly staff. Loved the stay
Cheaters and Liars
Where do I start... I get to the hotel 12pm the evening after a long flight just to be told by the hotel that my booking was canceled as there was a "problem with my credit card" which was a complete lie . I insisted on the hotel honoring the booking and after 30min of making a scene we were given a room. I have never been so stressed on a vacation and this hotel will not see me again. also the rooms are dirty carpets are stained not a 4 star hotel.
Double room one glass only Room well worn. Carpets stained, tiles broken and stained. Otherwise Cleanliness excellent
Bus service
Little bit away from the city but restaurant are cheaper and there is a bus service into the city
The hotel is nice and comfortable, I didnt like the fact that for an international well rated hotel, their front desk staff couldn't speak English and were acting like I was speaking a language from out of this world, I also didn't like the fact that they paid more attention to the people speaking Italian. The hospitality lady and the man (young tall) at the bar were extremely nice and helpful, I enjoyed my stay at the hotel only because of these two
Unfortunately I didn’t receive any upgrade or other benefits because of my gold status. The rooms are to hor because the airco doesn’t blow cold air. Overall the hotels is good.
Staff may do a better job with happiness ! In stead of this, no air conditionning , no air dryer and needed to pay our lunch in the room by cash !
Good but hot
Everything was ok. The staff were very nice and helpful. The surrounding area has a couple of cafes and pizza shops, but the area has almost no tourists. I think that is kind of cool. With that being said, its a residential area so not a whole lot to do in the area. 20min car ride from the sites (Colosseum, Pantheon, Spanish steps, Trevi Fountain), and about a €40 car ride to the airport. My only complaint is the air conditioning did not work well at all. If you visit during the summer id think twice about visiting here. Room wasn't hot to a point of sweating, but my fiancé and I were always just u comfortable.
This hotel is very plush, lovely modern 4* hotel! Highly recommend! I’d definitely return here! The destination is around 30 minutes Via bus and train into the centre of Rome, however they do a shuttle service which takes you into the centre for 5 euro each!!
Not great
No a/c, broken blind, shower leaked over the floor, restaurants closed by early evening A long way from any decent restaurants
Rome, Barcelo
The hotel was very pleasant
I reserved a room with 2 double beds and the hotel does not have such a room. The hotel also advertised a room with a view, but there is no view. There is also not any soap in the room. I had a do not disturb sign on my door, but staff still knocked. The front desk representatives were not terribly friendly.
Nice hotel, poor location
Recently stayed 3 nights at this hotel and overall we were happy with our stay. Rooms were relatively clean (besides quite a lot of water marks throughout the bathroom) and pleasant to stay in. Beds were a little uncomfortable as were two singles pushed together (for a couple this isn't very romantic). Website misleading as states there are mini bars in rooms but we did not have this. Good range of toiletries for those who need it though & room was well equipped besides this. Staff were friendly for the most part and spoke good English which was appreciated. Worst part was the location. As mentioned by a few on here, there is a small shuttle bus/taxi service for €5 each person (each way). No metro access nearby or buses we could find so ended up paying a fortune for taxis. Another comment to add is do not use the taxi service provided by the hotel back to airport. We made the mistake of doing this as we were a bit unorganised and our driver was rude, didn't speak english and got frustrated with us when we requested to go to Ciampino airport instead of Fiumicino. Plus we paid €50 for this 15 minute journey which is heavily overpriced! Even when the hotel told us it was €45. Wouldn't stay again but overall a nice hotel.
Good stay with excellent team there to look aftwr you.
A memorable stay
No air conditioning, the restaurant was closed on Saturday evening, laundry service was poor. No milk or cream for tea and no mint for a mojito at the bar (one of their "signature drinks" on their menu). So to be polite, the stay was memorable.
Great Business hotel. Some nice modern touches for a very good price.
Neat and ckean
Very nice and clean hotel
Generally good. Nothing particular to report on either the good or the bad end.
Fast check in, good customer service. I am missing the orange juice making machine at the breakfast bar.
Pleasant
Was good but it there were some drawbacks
Hot Rooms
Hotel is pretty modern and clean, but air conditioner in the rooms does not work well, very hot, made it very hard to sleep at night. Not the best looking neighborhood either.
Good as conference hotel
Conference hotel. Outside of Rome but easy to get to centre. Good as a conference hotel but for a holiday I would stay in the centre (but that would cost more). Gym is tiny and there’s no pool
Ckean Hotel
Enjoyed our stay but probably a little bit further out of town than expected but offer a cheap bus service into the centre.
Poor compaird to sister hotel
Room not ready for check in (beleive they had doubled book ) sent to sister hotel at aran park for 1 night excellent came back next morning room still not ready not impressed althoungh bar staff very good
Very Well Located Great Price/Benefit Ratio
Hiper well located, first class staff, very good size and comfortable rooms and one of the best breakfast in Italy, only to remove any aftertaste of other not as good breakfast as the ones in Venice or maybe Viena. Highly highly recommended.
Nice hotel
This is a modern hotel and it is really big. Rooms are fabulous and very clean. The shower is one of the biggest showers I have seen in Rome as most of the hotels have very tinny showers. The hotel is not pretty close to touristic points but you can take a taxi which cost around 17 euros from downtown , or if you prefer the hotel offers a shuttle for 5 dollars each way. if you prefer you can take a bus and it is only 5 minutes walking to the bus stop. Tickets are available in a store close to the hotel named "bar". Breakfast is amazing and enormous. It is really good, and the price is very good for what you have. Staff from the reception is not really nice, they only answer or talk to you because they have to, otherwise they do not even say "hi" to you. There are a couple of restaurants pretty close to the hotel and also an organic supermarket which is really nice and you can find fruits or some snacks. I stayed several days in this hotel and then I changed to an other hotel from the same chain named Barcelona Aran park and it does not have anything to do with this hotel, as this one is a real 4 star hotel and the other One looks like a two star hotel.
Good choice
Hotel was great. Room was beautiful large and comfortable. The hotel is far from the city but they offer a shuttle to the center and uber is always a good option. Overall a great place.
Great hotel, not so great area!
Hotel was beautiful, the area, not so much! About 20 minutes out from the "centre" so had to get a bus in everyday. The surrounding area was dirty and covered in graffiti and not very nice to look at , also not much close by such as attractions/restaurants/bars but once inside the hotel it was lovely! Nice decor and facilities! Even got a "handy smartphone" with the room which has free data so you can use the internet and google maps when out and about! Would recommend to someone who would like to see "the real Rome" and travel on the buses!
Very comfortable Hotel with room for improvement
It was a very nice hotel. The breakfast was great with the package, the rooms very a decent size and kept clean. The shower power was amazing. The front desk and shuttle drivers were very friendly. The hourly shuttle buses for €5 to the city was a plus. It was really hot in the rooms because apparently the end of April is still considered winter at Barcelo. They could have just said it was broken. Temperature was over 65 degrees Farehite for at least 3 days. One 2 days, it was over 70. Very uncomfortable heat. Depending on the type of view you have, even though the windows are open, there is no air. I would not recommend having dinner at the restaurant. The food wasn't great. They don't have a pool in the hotel, which was weird. Always take the white taxi and not the black ones to avoid inflated prices. Very nice place but a little far from the city- approximately 3 miles.
Good location, impractical room design
The Good location shuttle service restaurant staff The Bad completely sheer and see through bathroom door didn't change bedsheets during stay no air condition
Good condition. Very clean. Profesional staff. Too far fro Roma and the Vatican.
Nice large rooms, seemed a bit understaffed
Large jr. suite - in need of a few fix-ups like the carpets could be cleaner. And it looked like someone tried to pull a locked door handle off the door before realising it was locked. Other than that it's a beautiful hotel with massive balconies - good food, and good staff. Even got a free upgrade. Great place.
great stay
Greeted by friendly front desk staff. Location quiet place with free car park near hotel if you're driving. Spacious, clean and well maintained rooms. Great breakfast and restaurant! Value for money
Was ideal, good price and lovely stay. Watch out for 6 euro pp charge
Nice hotel not far from central Rome
It was a nice trip and I enjoyed my stay at the hotel
7 nites
Stay was just OK.
It is very nice hotel
I will definitely go back there if I go to Rome again
Beware!
This hotel was very nice and would have received a higher overall rating from me but for one thing. It seems that they only switch on the air conditioner at a specific time during the year. Therefore, beware! Do NOT book the hotel when it is unseasonably warm or cold as it seems your room will become horribly overheated or very cold. In my case it was very hot! While the bed was one of the best I had in Italy it was way too hot for me to sleep on 2 of the 4 nights I stayed at the hotel. In addition, to get downtown you either pay 5 Euros for each person to use the hotel shuttle or you take a bus to the closest metro to get to any tourist destinations - takes about an hour each way.
Don't stay here if you ha e a choice
Worst place ever. Far from city and staff was not attentive.
Conference Hotel in Rome
The hotel is a 4 star hotel and might have been a 4 star hotel when it was new. There are pleny of issues which make me not to recommend it. 1. Bathroom: Water came out of the wall, connecting pieces in the shower head and other places despite the shower head. 2. Bathroom: Toilet flushing did not stop and was running. Calling service (twice to get somebody actually showing up) did not help. 3. Bedroom: various lights did not work 4. Bedroom: air temperature in the room was not to be regulated despite an avaiable thermostate 5. Breakfast: I was traveling alone. The bufett was very good, but the waiters removed all my breakfast items when I got another coffee or a piece of butter . So I had twice to get all items again one morning. Complaining to the restaurant manger helped, though. 6. Breakfast: The capucchino from the kitchen was not hot (repeatedly) 7. The reception was kind of helpful, however to get some good details which bus to take to get to the Metro station or to downtown was not very helpful 8. Conference rooms: most were ok, one was very moldy (smell)
A nice business hotel
The hotel is nice and accessible by bus. It provides a shuttle service costing 5 euro to the city center. It was raining heavily in one night but I couldn't hear a beep even though my windows has a street overview. All in all, it is a nice hotel for business people.
AWEFUL stay
AWEFUL HOTEL; VERY far away from anything in Rome and the Metro is over a mile away to try and get to the city centre. The rooms were very hot, so we asked that our AC be turned down becuase of the warmth. The front desk said it would be taken care of. Come to find out from another guest that the Heater is turned on to one general temperature for the entire hotel, they dont adjust the temp for anyone. They then offered to have maintenance crack open a window but never showed up. Francesca at the front desk was VERY rude and seemed bothered everytime we approached the front desk for a question. The restaurant was overpriced and the food took forever and had poor service that took a long time.
It is a ok hotel. Far from everything in Rome, but they have a hotel shutle that takes you to city center for $5 euros per person each way. I wouldn't give it 4 stars because the room wasn't very clean, and the bed was very uncomfortable
Very strategically located
I really enjoyed my stay, the hotel was very comfortable and the staff polite. The buffet breakfast was also awesome.
I am a travel agent and have stayed in numerous hotels. This one tops them all. We had a junior sweet and loved it. I highly recommend this hotel as the room was very modern and in classy condition. The service was generous and very professional.
We paid 6 month in advance but denied rooms
We had paid 6 months in advance through Expedia but was told, hotel is full and no rooms are available. Asked to go to other hotel. After 1 he one Chinese group came and given rooms to more than 25 couples. We had to struggle to get a room. Our terrible experience in hotel. Will never recommend other to go for this hotel anywhere in world
Hotel is far from any attraction
We went for a walk and neighborhood feels an safe and is very dirty. Also breakfast is to expensive for what it is. Hotel is beautiful but to far for any attraction and we have to take taxis everywhere and it gets to expensive
No such thing as extra service.
It was good until when checking out I asked if the front desk could go to the ATAC website and pay a fine for me that I received for not validating a bus ticket. (54euros). Simple mistake when you don't know. I explained that it was in Italian and that it shouldn't be too difficult but was told NO we do not offer this service. I was told to pay at a post office. The post offices were closed for the weekend and a national holiday, so now I expect to be fined again for late payment. I didn't think I was being unreasonable to expect this service from a 4star hotel. Also it is too far from city center and the metro. The metro is very convenient. Without it you are stuck with taxes, which gets expensive. There is a shuttle bus however but that is marginally cheaper than a taxi and only runs at certain times.
1 night only
The room was comfortable enough, but hadn't been cleaned properly. The location is not central to anything to would only recommend booking if you had your own transportation or pick up tours
Great hotel with friendly staff
Hotel was fantastic - lovely rooms, cleaned very well. The hotel staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.
Far from city, bad maintenance ,normal buffet
Nice staff and helpful. But the hotel is lacking proper maintenance, it was very hot and humid in Rome, and the AC during the full stay duration was not working, they had HVAC problems. Room had a stuffy smell.
Good hotel
Hotel was good. Far from the city but accessible easily by bus # 160. Take a pass for the public transport, you'll need it. Breakfast was limited but sufficient. Staff was extremely friendly. Overall a good experience :)
