The hotel is not suitable for babies! We received a wet cot with bed bugs. Our baby woke up in the morning with bites and rashes all over their bodies. Very frustrating and ruined the family holiday

The private pool suite was great with wonderful view and pretty big. Can provide some more essential amenities like body lotion and shaving kit etc. Breakfast was minimal. Hike from entrance to the stay was a killer after a hectic day at beach😀

Great hotel!

Fantastic resort on a hill with breathtaking views of the mountains. We had the pool access room and enjoyed the amenity. Food at the restaurant was tasty. The resort is kind of tucked away from the noisy tourist areas so it adds a measure of peace and quiet as well, which we appreciated. Our room was nice and clean and comfortable. Only issue we came across was our door and keycard reader; when we first arrived, the door would not lock and needed to be repaired, then the following day we came back to our room in the afternoon and the door wouldn't open for us, essentially locking us out. Hotel staff gave us a temporary manual key to use and it took some time to arrange another repair.

Lovely staff, but overall average hotel

Firstly, this is a dry hotel so doesn't serve alcohol. This isn't made clear in the description, or on the hotel website directly. However you do appear to be able to bring alcohol into the hotel. Still slightly disappointing, as it would be nice to have a beer or cocktail by the pool. Restaurant was ok - breakfast food was relatively basic but did the job. Nothing fancy. However the staff were all lovely, and very friendly/approachable. In the spa, I opted for foot reflexology and back massage. The therapist was average - it felt like she couldn't really be bothered, and wasn't interested. It wasn't a very relaxing massage as once she finished massaging each area, she would vigorously slap my body of the more targeted tapping/cupping tapotement. There was a much better spa, less than 10 minute walk from the hotel (Radarom Spa, https://radaromspa.com/). I had a one bedroom villas which was huge. It was clean enough, but definitely needed a proper scrub (the kitchen area just felt sticky) and also was getting due for a renovation. Overall, I had a good stay but the hotel didn't really meet my expectations. I wouldn't stay here again.

Amazing hotel

Amazing hotel! Such a pleasant peaceful resort in a lovely garden setting. Our room was super comfortable and the pools were lovely (never felt overcrowded). The staff were so helpful and friendly and the breakfast selection was great. I would definitely stay here again!

Amazing stay, very high class. Beautiful resort rooms and service. Only thing to mention is this resort is about 15 min walk from Ao Nang beach (partially uphill). They do have a shuttle service that runs every 2 hours

Hotel has villas too which was great as we needed a 2 bedroom villa. Great rooms and very big and spacious with a bathroom accessible to both bedrooms. Only issues were that the shower didn’t work very well and the water didn’t drain properly.

Not the Worst but Not the Best

The draw to this place is the location and view. We had a pool access room which was convenient although it could get a bit noisy depending on how loud the guests were. The rooms were fine but could use some deep cleaning (dirty floors and mildew on shower tile). Be prepared to go up and down stairs if you aren't staying in one of the villa/cabin rooms. Not the moat fun in 95+ degree weather. The restaurant food was decent. Nothing to rave about but the breakfast buffet was nice. Note that there is no bar or alcohol sold on property. This was fine as we walked to nearby bars for drinks. The service could have been a bit better. Everyone was nice but communication is not their strong suite (not the lamguage barrior but just updating us on the status of things) We got massages at the spa while we waited for our room to be ready and afterwards just sat there unattended until I asked why we had been sitting there so long after our service was completed. We used laundry service and that was a big issue. We received 3 extra bags of laundry that were not our and were charged for it. They didnt believe me when I said it wasnt ours. They kept asking me if I was sure and eventually said they couldnt do anything until they watched security tapes. It l got resolved and I hope the rightful owners to that laundry got it back. Overall, not a bad stay but I wouldn't do it again.

Really nice property just far enough away from the noise but close enough to walk. Pools are nice. My Vila was nice but a little dated. Had to request a proper clean and amenities replacement on the 6th day. Staff friendly and helpful. Good hotel.

Nice little resort property. A bit of a walk to get to the beach but they do offer a shuttle every hour. Nice views from their breakfast area. Would stay again.

The villa rooms are excellent. Very spacious and thai style close to pool . Cafe breakfast was very good . Hotel a good 15 min walk to bars and restaurants and 30 mins to center . Hadnt realised the hotel was run by muslims hence no bacon for breakfast and no bar serving alcohol!!! Top pool was better as a few bds available but a very steep hill with steps so not for people with mobility problems. Bottom pool nice but people putting towels on the 12 sunbeds at 7am then not showing untill 10am or even going off on daytrips and coming back at 2pm !! Mostly german and russian were doing this .

Everything is perfect.

Loved this property. It is up the hill away from the chaos so very quiet and in a lovely garden setting. Loved the upper pool and gym. Brekkie was great. Staff were so lovely. Room was comfy. Would definitely stay here again.

Little hideaway in a rough resort

Made to feel very welcome. Beautiful room (Delux Mountain View) with tons of space. Loved the top swimming pool. Breakfast was always good with plenty of choice. So Nang is a bit rough as a resort but are far enough away from the hectic parts and only a few mins walk down to the main strip. I’d recommend a long tail bot trip to Railay. Stunning beaches. Maybe get a room away from the lift as a bell goes each time it arrives at a floor and can be heard in the room. I asked to move and they did. My room was under the restaurant so you could hear scraping chairs from about 7am but it was very quiet otherwise

My family had a wonderful stay at the resort. No issues with anything. The shuttle to town area and beach was icing on the cake. Staff was very helpful with booking excursion to Phi Phi Islands- private tour so worth the extra $. We only ate breakfast there and it was good. It was my daughter’s birthday and they surprised her at breakfast with pancakes with candle on top. Great experience. We stayed in a 2 bedroom villa which was nice overlooking pool

Thus has been our third stay here. The team from checking in to checking out were fantastic, The resort is in excellent condition, the pools are fantastic breakfast is unbelievable. We used room service 3 of the 7 nights, the quality if the food was top class and huge portions. My congratulations to the management of the hotel. Special mention to Waan in the restaurant at breakfast, she was so friendly and welcoming. What a STAR!!! Also KAE part of the house keeping team, always returned to an impeccable room. We loved our stay and can’t wait until we return next year.

This place is beautiful. The room was exactly how it was in the picture. The staff are nice and friendly. Very peaceful hotel. I got the best massage ever from the spa! The hotel does not have alcohol for sale because they are Muslim. Breakfast was included. Dinning options were available for an additional cost. They also have a very convenient hourly shuttle bus service to Ao Nang beach and the strip with all the small shops and resturants.

Room was not clean when I arrived, and housekeeping was very minimal so it got worse every day. Got woken up on day 3 at 4am by AC ceiling vent heavily dripping on floor and flooding room — called concierge and they took 15 mins to come while the flooding continued. When the maintenance person arrived, he looked at the water on the floor and said he would need to come back — waited over an hour. Breakfast was beyond bad.

Wonderful stay at phy pi maan

Staying at Phu pi maan was a delightful experience! The hotel property was beautiful, the room was quite large with a wonderful balcony. The staff was very friendly and helpful! Its a bit out of town but the hotel offers a shuttle or its an easy walk to town/beach.

Another great Thai hotel

I don't know if we lucked out or if all hotels in Thailand are this wonderful. This was our last of four over two weeks in Thailand. The room was beautiful, beds were comfortable but would have liked a king size. Huge patio with day bed and large bathroom with amazing soaker tub and seperate shower were unexpected perks. Only tried the breakfast buffet and it was so so, the other restaurant didn't ever seem to be open, but so many great choices nearby it didn't matter. Halal, so no alcohol for sale on site but we brought our own up the room for a nightcap with no issue.

So-so second time

This is my second time staying here after a wonderful first experience last year. However i feel that the service given have definitely gone down. Some of the staff gave us a black face, not even a greeting or smile whenever we call for the buggy to go down to the main lobby. Breakfast spread was just so-so. My experience last year with their breakfast spread was wonderful so i was definitely disappointed with it this year. Room was clean and comfortable.

Hotel rooms were very nice and clean. We appreciated the convenience of the hourly free shuttle service to the center of town.

Krabi visit

The best hotel and resort with conpetitive price

The peace and quiet environment. The friendly and polite staff and fast response time for request.

The resort is around the mosque area, definitely suitable for Muslim travellers. Just about 2 minutes to mosque, Halal food along the area and mini night market daily. Staff are pleasant, polite and helpful. Amenities are plenty, most areas clean and nice view. Free buggy and shuttle was good. They sent me a birthday treat upon check in by singing a birthday song, with cake, fruit tray and 2 sparkling juices. However, it was too quiet during our stay (which might be good for some), maybe not too many guests at that time. This includes staff who are always not present when we want to book a buggy ride down to reception and we have to wait or find a staff around, which was quite inconvenient as we were also trying to catch the hourly shuttle to Ao Nang beach or quite dark to be finding for nearest staff which we do not know where. But overall, a pleasant stay in a Halal resort. Thank you staff at Phu Pi Maan. :)

This is a really peaceful hotel in a lovely setting, with well appointed rooms and beautifully landscaped. We had not picked up on the fact that the restaurant is halal when booking. Not a problem for us, but might be for others. Maybe slightly out of season but the hotel did not make much effort to offer extra services (at least not at a competitive price) e.g. the spa, trips, and did not open the cafe/restaurant next to the reception area.

Beautiful property in a quite area but really close to restaurants bars and an hourly to/from the beach. Our room was beautiful with all the amenities you can imagine (even a beach bag, umbrellas, bath robes and each flip flops were in the room) All excursions offer hotel pick up/ drop off. The hotel staff is incredibly friendly and makes tour stay unforgettable. They know what you want and need before you say it. We would definitely choose this place again.

Ambience and cleanliness of the hotel. nearby amenities around just a walk distance. We booked 2 room for my anniversary and my sister too. we dont expected much coz 1st time in Krabi but when we checkin hotel...its amazing beautiful with free decoration of the room and refreshment given. I am.delighted and will recomended to family and friends. 1

I do recommend to stay this hotel. Very clean, friendly staff, nice view. A bit far from Ao Nang beach, but very quiet location so that this place is the best for me.

Really loved that this property is eco-conscious! There are glass water bottles that correspond to the number of guests in a room. They get refilled everyday to reduce the amount of single use plastic. Soaps and shampoos are also in glass containers that get refilled also. Service here was great, everyone was really nice. Check-in was smooth. Really liked the convenience of having a shuttle to the beach every hour. I just wished it came every 30 minutes instead of every hour.

The property itself is good. But we think we had our room broken into and considerable sum of money taken from the safe when we were out for a massage in the hotel. We told the front office next day after ascertaining that there was no other possibility of losing that money. The response was lukewarm and we haven’t heard a thing from the hotel despite leaving our phone numbers and email. I checked that here was a similar other experience on Expedia feedback and pointed it out to them as well.so book at your own risk and do note that the safe in the room is well”not safe”!!

The best in the area!!!

This is our second time staying at Phu Pi Maan hotel, and we were delighted by the luxurious and generous accommodation, every aspect of the hotel management is well thought out and the staff are very kind and friendly (we were even treated to a free upgrade upon arrival in appreciation of being return customers). Breakfast was especially enjoyable, excellent quality and variety... Highly recommend!

The resort was located really near the Ao Nang mosque so looking for halal food was extremely easy. The resort has basically everything you need from the free hourly shuttle to Ao Nang Beach and the spa and pool facilities are amazing. Though I did experience 3 blackouts throughout my stay, I assumed it's because the building is still relatively new. Otherwise, everything was perfect and the staff is super helpful and friendly. If I were to ever come back, I would definitely stay here again.

Nice, Clean and Good Service

Overall this is a nice cozy medium size hotel. Room is large, service is good. Breakfast range can be improved. And it is a halal hotel, so no alcohol is served.

Absolutely beautiful resort with lovely views. Not an ocean view of the close by Ao Nang Beach, but it faces the gorgeous cliffs and if you're up early, you can watch the stunning sunrise. The rooms are large with lovely ceilings, the balconies have a hot tub and couch for lounging. There is a complimentary minibar of sodas and chips and large waters. It is a Muslim run resort so there is no alcohol on the property. The service staff are pleasant and the breakfast buffet has many options and was delicious. The lower pool was slightly dirty, although the upper level was nicer. My partner and I preferred the 3rd level pool. We did not like that to get to the rooms there was a large uphill hike up many stairs which could be tiring after a long day out and especially in the heat. A few times we were lucky enough to get a ride up. The resort is also located about a 15 minute walk from the beach although they do offer shuttle service. Just generally a bit far from all the action. Overall, a good experience and would recommend.

a basically nice hotel with a nice garden and pool, at the price performance was right. The hotel is run muslim, there is no bar and no alcohol. the staff is always friendly, but not very close to the guest. Friendly distance meets it very well. the lobby is like a furniture store. it's all there but it's not really inviting ... the restaurant was always empty. the breakfast is not more Asian. Europeans are getting a little too short.

We stayed here for 4 nights. On the third day, the safe in our room was broken into and cash was stolen from the safe! When we told the hotel about the incident they didn’t do anything about it. I’ve traveled all over the world and this is the first time it’s ever happened to me.

Taking a wonderful breakfast with an excellent view. However staff could do better with a always smiling face. Got a room with staircase which is a gruelling n painfully walk for those with weak legs. Receptionist or manager should have a say whether to upgrade or ask we to pay extra for a change of rooms without staircase. There were many villas that are unoccupied. The food we order for lunch for 2 days are good n worth for every penny spent. All 3 swimming pools are wonderful. The buggy n hotel van drivers are excellent. Paid d room for 3 person but was only given 2 towels n everything else for 2. Need to remind them for another towel. Stay for 3 nights n was given everything for 2 person. Feel bad to keep on asking.

This hotel was awesome. The rooms are huge and the balcony is huge. Free drinks (water and pop) and free chips every day come with the room. Very clean and the staff was great. Close to Ao Nang beach and the hotel even offers free shuttle service to and from the beach everyday throughout the day/night. If I come here again I will definitely be staying at this hotel.

I'm a muslim and when I book this hotel I didn't know it's a muslim friendly hotel. So it's a bonus for me. The hotel is clean and the room is spacious. It's very near the muslim night market around the mosque. So getting halal food was super easy. I would definitely reccomend this hotel to my relatives and friends. Two thumbs up.

Beautiful hotel with spactacular views. The hotel feels very luxurious and staff was extremely welcoming and helpful. Room was huge and very nice. Breakfast buffet had tons of options with beautiful sunrise views (and a very friendly kitten that visited us every morning.) Spa and pools are amazing. Free shuttle to downtown every hour which was very convenient, and the hotel is walking distance to a few shops and restaurants, with a little street market every night. Only complaints was the wifi was not good, and couldn’t quite figure out how to get the hot water working in the shower (there was like 5 different knobs.) Outdoor in-room jucuzzi was a really cool feature.

Quiet and lovely to be away from the hussle but 5mins walk to busy streets and restaurants and bars. Staff lovely and great breakfast. We had pools access room which was fabulous. Regular bus to the beach if you wanted it but we had a car.

This is a completely halal hotel, which is very convenient, however, food was so-so, and overpriced for what you get. Fret not, there are lots of halal food restaurants on the main road. Breakfast, so-so, had it once then skipped it the rest of my stay. Staff are great. Buggy to the hotel was not available once because the driver went MIA. Checkout took forever and we already stressed that we needed to leave for the airport to not miss our flight. Its also overpriced for a 3 star hotel.

Good relaxing hotel

We stayed in the newly built block at the back of the hotel - its a bit of an uphill trek when you walk, but usually there is a buggy service to assist. The room as good and spacious with nice views. All staff are friendly and helpful.

Staff was very welcoming, they even spoke great english which helped in many ways. The food was good, the hotel was beautiful, the only downfall was the pool always had tons of people in it. If the rooms were separated pools then it’d be a 6/5 haha.

Bit far from the beach but there is a free shuttle every hour from 0700-2200. Otherwise, fantastic hotel with great facilities. We had the premium spa room which had great mountain views and was very spacious and comfortable. Breakfast had a good spread. There are 3 pools. All in all, a wonderful stay.

Very impressed with the Ao Nang Phu Pi Maan Resort & Spa, the staff were fantastic, pools awesome, room huge (we had a mountain view room, view was spectacular) & the resort is close enough to everything whilst being quiet & secluded. We went into this stay a tad apprehensive as this resort caters to Muslims (which is fine) but we didn't realise until after we booked, so the no alcohol rule we thought maybe a bit of a pain but it wasn't at all, they just don't serve it, you can still take drinks to your room & the pool area so it was no biggie. The other thing was as we are not religious & as the resort is located pretty close to a Mosque I'd like to point out that that was not a problem as the noise from prayers was not too loud & after a while I grew to enjoy it laying next to the pool. Only slight negative was the breakfast, we have stayed in dozens of resorts in Asia & their breakfasts really needs some more variety, but other then that all good.

Although i didn't get the room i booked for don't know whatever reason but still the room is clean, housekeeping was good and the staff was polite and awesome. Great customer service they will attend to your every needs. ++ a great view of the mountain at the hilltop restaurant.

The hotel is pretty good. They have a nice pool and ambience. It is not beach front but they have free shuttle going to the beach. Staff are friendly, smooth check-in and check-out. The buffet food can be improved, I find the in room dining order is better. The room is big enough but if u want relaxing and quiet get away do not book the plain deluxe room as it has access to adjoining room. U can easily hear the noises next door to you. As for our experience unfortunately, the neighbours plays loud music and we need to call the front office to adhere it. It was almost perfect vacation except the noise that we get. The villa looks better and maybe the mountain view rooms are good too.

Hotel was good, but i did not know it was an islamic hotel, and thus no bar or alcohol served. However alcohol was,allowed to be consumed on the premises without restriction. Rather oddly when checking out , there were no taxi options other than the hotel taxi which needed booking in advance and was expensive. They had no numbers for local taxis and were not willing to assist. Very poor exit service.

Amazing hotel

We stayed in deluxe room with mountain view and this hotel is so comfortable and splendid. We rented a car and they have space for free parking, where thr parking is near to our room. This hotel is close to the beach as well and they provide free shuttle bus to the beach. Not forgetting the staff is all so friendly and good breakfast spread too.

Close to popular Muslim restaurants like Bangboo and A-hud. A minute walk to the mosque. Convenient shuttle service to Aonang beach.

Perfect Getaway for Family

the staff are so warm and welcoming, they are always so pleased to help with whatever enquiries we have. my family and i stayed 4 nights and we loved the food from their restaurant and the room service! we used the pool, the gym, the kids play area, and the spa. loved all of it! we also booked the island tour with the hotel, the highlight of our trip. thank you ao nang phu pi maan for the hospitality. we'll not hesitate to return!

place looks really nice and very peaceful. i was surprised that it was a halal establishment but that is ok. it is a very beautiful and serene place to stay.. looking forward in coming back to this hotel. *just a tip its best that you would rent a motorbike as this establishment is on a small hill away form the main road though they provide shuttle service its best if you would have your own means of transport so you wont be depending to much in shuttle timing.*

Excellent and friendly hotel

The hotel is very modern, clean and has very good amenities, all staff are very friendly and attentive to your needs. All staff at the front desk were great especially Hanna and Munni who were always smiling and willing to help, they were great when booking excursions too. The room was ready when we arrived so we could settle in straight away. There is a hourly shuttle to Ao Nang beach to and from which is always on time. The hotel is quite far from the beach hence the reason for a free shuttle however there are lots of food places and shops nearby and I would recommend the restaurant opposite the hotel @aonang for a great range of different cuisines as well as Thai food. There are a range of restaurants such as Thai, Indian, Arab cuisine as well as food stalls and fresh fish. The pools are great and ideal for children and families. The only negative I would say is the restraunt food offered on the first night, it is not very good and the Indian menu is very poor - would not recommend this. However the breakfast was good with a range of Thai and continental choice. The views from the hotel are lovely as you can see the stunning mountainside. Overall a great stay, we did not want to leave! The hotel makes you feel very comfortable regardless of who you are and everyone is made to feel welcome.

Stayed 3 nights at this resort.Very friendly staffs who are always smiling and would always greet you whenever they see u.Helpful and willing to assist u in whatever request.Punctual shuttle service to Aonang beach.They also provide buggy service for those staying at the hotel building on higher ground.Nice and comfortable room with an excellent open view of the mountain.Breakfast are ok.Not so wow.But with the morning sun and mountain view,breakfast become wondeful.For those smokers you will be busy going up and down as there are no smoking room in this resort.

The hotel is not at the beach but further up the road. That does not matter because the hotel offers a free shuttle service to and from the beach. The hotel is large and spacious and offers two separate pools. The rooms are large with a great view of the mountain. You can sit out on your balcony and enjoy the view of the town down below as well as the mountain. The king bed was very comfortable, the bathroom was large and had a separate tub and shower stall with rain shower head. They even provide a wicker bag with two beach towels for you to bring to the pool or beach. Staff was always smiling and talkative. Breakfast was good and offered various eating options. We had no complaints or problems with this hotel and would not hesitate to recommend this to anyone.

Overall it was a nice hotel. It would be nice to have more convenient store nearby the hotel.

Great hotel with comfortable beds.

Everything was good although the limited buffet breakfast was almost the same everyday. Gym needs to be upgraded. But overall a nice hotel to stay in especially for muslims. No alcohol and pork are allowed in this hotel.
