Close to Bloor subway, clean kitchen and washrooms, friendly staff, safe, hot water, premium TV channels, close to grocery and McDonald's
Friendly staff and comfy accommodation!
I like the cleanliness of the property and safety. The staff is friendly and helpful. The location is walkable to Bloor and subway. A grocery store, McDonalds, and drug store are steps away.
good
The staff were lovely. There was 2 things the rooms were hot. There is no fans, and no soap to wash the dishes so everyone was just rinsing the dishes and putting them back.
The hostel is very clean, the staff are so nice. Close the the metro station and to downtown
Out of all the hostels I have stayed at during my travels, this is one of the best. The front desk clerk was super nice and helpful. Hostel owners from all over, should take a lesson from him.
5minute walk to subway. Could reach hostal easily with public transport for $3.30. Our room was in basement, full of old junk furniture. Overpriced
Rude management
When you get to the venue the change price and make you pay extremely more amounts of money
It was clean and worth the price, being closer to Downtown Toronto.
It is nothing fancy, but a clean budget option for a short stay in Toronto.
It’s a great place for it’s price!
My daughter's arms, back, stomache&hands covered with bites. Went to see a doctor. Doctor said they are bed bug bites. I found bed bugs on my pillow. Room not cleaned during stay until I show pillow w/bed bugs. Common washrooms & kitchen minimal cleaning. Paid $180/night thru Expedia. Other guests booked with hostel website paid $125/night. Exact same room (2 double beds) w/ 2 guests. Will NOT book thru Expedia in future. Difference too high. Will book with property directly.
Did not give the room that was requested and claimed my credit card declined. Was stuck in a very small bedroom with limited space for lugguage to be unpacked. Bed was very itchy and uncomfortable. Rude and unwelcoming staff. Terrible stay.
It is located in convenient place. You can access bus stop and metro station. Plugs are little old so one time it unpluged during night.
The service was poor, the front desk forgot to give us the key and also weren’t attentive when contacted prior through both messaging and call.
Toronto is an expensive city for hotels anywhere near the downtown area. This place while expensive for a hostel is close to downtown, only 3 minutes from the sherborn subway station. There is a McDonald’s and large cheap supermarket across the street. Also many restaurants nearby. I had a private room which was clean and comfortable although dark. The manager was very nice
The hostel is good. It’s well-located, close to the subway and Bloor. The area is clean and the kitchen has all that is needed for a quick meal. The problem was that on the first night, they put us in a room that had a solar roof and you couldn’t close it up. So by morning, the room was all bright as if the sun was in the bed. We complained and at first, they said they couldn’t do anything. Later that day, we talked to another staff member and they moved us to a very good large room. We stayed there for almost the entire period, but then on the day before checkout, they told us that we had to move since they’d booked the room we were in. They said it was because I had booked a double room but was in a twin bed room. We didn’t choose the rooms. I booked from my country and I couldn’t possibly have known about the rooms. Also, the later room we stayed in didn’t have air conditioning. When we asked about that, they said it was central AC. I couldn’t sleep that night because of the heat. In summary, it’s well-located and we mostly liked our stay there but given what happened, I wouldn’t come back.
Standard triple with private bathroom was excellent. Staff excellent. Access to all areas of toronto excellent. Quiet. Safe. Metro 5 minutes away. Wifi good. Price cheap by Toronto standards but remember its a hostel not a hotel ( though pretty close). Kitchen facilities excellent. Would stay again. Better value than a hotel. Which are a rip off in Toronto.
It’s not in the best area but neither was the location bad. It’s a budget no frills option so expectations should be at that level but I can’t fault my stay. I had a twin room with a shared bathroom and shared well appointed kitchen. Sharing was no hassle, the building and room was clean and in good order, plenty hot water with good water pressure, quiet, beds were comfortable, the room had a working but quiet modern aircon, staff were friendly and you could come and go whenever you wanted. The metro was close by. There was no street parking for non residents unless you want to risk $150 fine and given the vulture like regularity of the parking enforcement attendants that’s a certainty - but there is an option for a secure garage space. Contact staff at the time of booking and check if it’s available. It will cost $20 per day, Well worth it. Highly recommend.
The area was safe. My only complaint is having so little space for showering.
This place is good enough for my needs. Clean and close to everything. Would recommend and I’ll definitely go back
My friend and I stayed for a week. We made friends and had a good time .. highly recommend
Veryimited eating places apart from our quite dark bedroom. Reprimanded for sitting out side at the back on the steps, the only place to eat comfortably.
Quiet place.
The room was very small and one shower was of average size. There were two showers that were also very small.
I really appreciate the nice staff, the property feels safe too!
Convenient Location & Nice Staff
Very convenient location & nice staff. Mattress was hard, but tolerable. My room was above the front door & near the stairs so it could get loud as people were coming & going, but I got use to it. For the price & location I can't complain.
The property is very clean and the temperature of water in the showers can be controlled perfectly. Property is conveniently located near mini mall and is centrally located in residential neighborhood close to transit.
The man who was working on the morning of May 1 was rude and wasn’t helpful. There was not enough toilet paper for the people that were staying and I had to go ask for more toilet paper many times during my stay. The man that I mentioned above didn’t help me with it but just told me to go check the other bathrooms with a bad attitude. It was morning, so many people were using the bathrooms and I ended up not getting any paper when I needed it. Using the bathroom is a daily necessity and because of that, my stay there was very stressful and unpleasant. The man who helped us check in on April 28 was nice and helpful.
Great location. Great on-site staff. But they do overbook. They had a gentleman sleeping in the common area. So i felt it was inappropriate for me to use the area that I had paid for while the gentleman was sleeping. I also had requested a lower bunk. When I got the hostel, they said I would have to change rooms for that, and it would cost me $20. This is not a charge I should have to pay, since I asked fir it, prior to check in.
Three of us spent the weekend here for the same price a hotel would charge for one night. The rooms were clean, the water pressure in the bathroom isn't great but had hot water and a hair dryer. No toiletries so bring your own. Kitchen had supplies for preparing basic meals. A stones throw away from the subway station. Walls are thin so bring earplugs if neighbors snoring bothers you. We would happily stay here again.
bad treatment from the hotel staff.
Proximity to Bloor Street, a mall across from property, easy to drive to from expressway, clean washrooms, parking options, nice upscale neighborhood
Parking issues
The parking permit is convenient. The staff if friendly and helpful. The kitchen and bathrooms are clean. The location is close to shops and restaurants on Bloor street and there is a grocery store just steps away.
The hostel was priced reasonably. It is an older facility with some small dings and chips here and there. But the thing is it's clean - you could eat off the floor and that made it for me. There's a retail mall across the street with a No Frills and a pharmacy. A one week street parking pass is $50.
Everything is near the property like supermarkets and restaurants.
Never coming back here
It was really. The location only 3 minutes away from subway stn. And 10.minutes away from yonge street. Clean room and fully wifi service. Nice staff.
The guys that run it are great .Joseph was very friendly and helpful a joy to talk to .Adam the owner was a amazing person very friendly and sociable.
The staff are the best. Place is clean and is in a good area of Toronto.
I paid them in cash! on arrival!
wifi is a bit slow and the air-conditioning too but still a great stay. Will stay here again! 👌
Roomy for a two single bed room. We stayed for 2 days and did not feel cramped.
Good value for the money and very close to Downtown very walkable. Nice staff and convenient.
For a hostel , the property is nice, clean, and quiet. The manager Joseph is a nice-to-talk-to person. One thing I did not like was that they cancelled my first confirmed booking for two nights. The reason given was that there was an issue with my credit card, which I do not believe...because my card already went through all the checks the Expedia runs before letting you complete the reservation. And I never had any issues with my card before. However, when I went to book again, I was told to book at least for 3 nights, which was not the requirement a couple of days before when I did my first booking. So, it was obvious that my first booking was cancelled just because they wanted to book it for 3 nights. So, I believe changing terms of the booking for already confirmed reservations was not fair. I spoke to Joseph in-person about this issue but he pretended not to understand what I was trying to say.
The room for 3 people was a good size. The bathrooms were clean. The management was not very friendly. I guess they don’t like young people. They also accused us of smoking in our room, which we were not.
The front desk person was available on site and was very responsive and friendly. I purchased a parking permit thru the hotel when i checked in for the length of my stay and was able to park within steps of the property. The shared kitchen and bathrooms were very clean. Washrooms were within a few steps of my room. The surrounding area was within walking distance of church and bloor streets. The patio infront of the property was nice. A small mall with a grocery store just across the street
Good
heating was not working, and the mattress was pretty bad
Nice staff.clean room
All Days is great for the price i paid. The owners were courteous and friendly, the room was clean as was everywhere i needed to go within the hostel. My only slight negative was the floors were wooden and heard other guests walking through the night...but i was there for a funeral and wasn't sleeping well as there was a lot on my mind. I thank them for a pleasant stay.
Smelly roommate
Good for saving money but thats it.
One washroom had no toilet paper in the evenging. No drinking water station. No bin for garbage (there was for paper, compost, recyclable plastic but not a bin for other garbage). They do not accept card, only cash.
Pleasant budget stay in Toronto
My family and I had a nice stay at this hostel. The location is good, across the street from a mall and steps away from from buses and the subway. The kitchen was very clean and well equipped.
Eu e meus 2 filhos adolescentes ficamos hospedados por 2 semanas. Adoramos a localização, tranqulidade e atendimento.
Great host freindly hoapitable
It wasn't my first time and it will not be my last time at this hostel god willing. Super clean, considerate and generous staff, mature clientele, exquisite location, and their pricing is FAIR.
I would say that this hotel is good when it comes to location as it is close to downtown and restaurants. However, I was not given the rooms that I booked but rather worse-off rooms so that was disappointing, and having to share bathrooms with other people was uncomfortable.
Stolen xmas gift under my bed
The hostel or Inn is in good shape. However , on my 8th day . My son's xmas gift in an ikea.bag was stolen or the cleaner took it .it would not be stolen because my room mate I have known for 1 year 1/2 . I find taking my personal goods a theft . So though the in is cleaner .staff stealing personal goods ..is an all time low .I have been a cleaner for a hostel offer than Days Inn. The Inn is though in good shape .
It just deserves for the price. Services are not as good as other hotels but price was so cheap that I was satisfied for everything. It’s clean and located good.
Having been to lots of hostels in my life I can say this was the most pleasant hostel stay I have ever had. Not that it is the most prestigious, or the fanciest place to stay but it simply outlines the true meaning of decency. All Days Hostel is CLEAN, staff was friendly, pricing was fair and the best part is the LOCATION. All Days Hostel is located in the heart of Downtown Toronto, across from a small shopping center where there is McDonalds, No frills (an affordable grocery store), a barbershop and couple of other stores, the shopping center is literally a 7 second walk from the main entrance of the hostel, no kidding lol.. A wide selection of restaurants, coffeeshops, banks, worshiping places, subway station are all within the vicinity of the hostel. This place caters to mature quiet adults from all ages and all walks of life.
I could not even stay there, I made my reservation in advance for a private bathroom room and it was confirmed, the night before my trip they contacted me to let me know the room was no longer available and they asked to took some other without private bathroom and not even offering a discount. I let them know I wouldn't take it and asked them to cancel it and I never got a reply or anything else anymore... so I hope they wont charge me... terrible service...
All was excellent just shower was too tight
My stay at the All Days Hostel in Torobto was one where I wished to be in a cental location in the city but without paying a high overnight rate. The location is good where many of the city's attractions are within relative walking distance and public trnsportation is convenient as well as Upper Jarvis's local services as groceries are easily accessible
excellent single room
Good property good location subway downtonw
I got what was expected. It wasnt in the best condition but I definitely had no complaints.
Overall everything was good except the Air condition.
Good place, very kind, clean, respectful and not expensive. However, I did not get what I wanted, a single bedroom. So I end up sleeping with two other strangers who were cool people. But it is a Hostel motel so you gotta know what you're dealing with LoL. I'll know next time. Thx All Days Hostel. ;-)
No parking ... We booked 3 nights. Arrived after 9 pm. Were told that we have to pay for entire week of parking as two days is not enough. Paid $45. Found out in the morning that parking just in front is free after 9pm and didn’t have to pay for the entire week but just for two days. Pretty pissed off. The guy at reception mislead us. On the second night there was a fire alarm as somebody burnt something in the kitchen. We all evacuated and waited outside in the cold. No fire engine came. A metal box with sign”fire evacuation plan” was locked with a padlock so couldn’t work out what to do. Finally we found a red phone by the door which rang somewhere... we thought the fire department... turned out it connected to a person looking after the property. He came, stopped the alarm and that was the end of it. No fire warden, no count or room check. Turned out there was a guy sleeping in his room this entire time. What would have happened if there was a real fire???? I wouldn’t stay here again, doesn’t seem honest or safe.
Very nice.Good location.
I was charged for 4 nights instead of the 2 nights I was there. I tried to contact the property months ahead to change my reservation (my plans in Toronto changed). Nobody answered my calls or emails. When I arrived, I tried to make changes to my itinerary, but they said it was too late. My only request was to stay in a quiet room, but my room was closest to the kitchen, which was grand central station. Also, there was no staff on the premise at night. As a woman, I did not feel safe staying alone with strange men in a house. The amount I paid, would have covered a private hotel room in Toronto. I regret my stay here, and believe they should give me a partial refund.
close to everything. the metro is up the street. I like the use of the kitchen facilities. clean
Pleasant place.
Easy check in and out guys on reception were helpful and polite My room was in the basement it was small and had no window it would be okay if only one or two nights but I was there for seven nights and would only stay there again if I had a room on a higher floor that had a window. The location was very good for walking around and a subway station only a few minutes from the hotel.
Shower door kept breaking on us, and manager was difficult to get a hold of
No tubs, only stand up showers, wouldn’t let me use my husbands credit card cause my name wasn’t on it so that’s kinda odd but overall good stay, rooms are small but sufficient, slow wifi but it’s free, friendly staff and other tenants. The only thing i have to complain about it the parking, no option to reserve for three days only so had to pay for the week!
It was amazing. Excellent service and location.
It was really a great moment for I and my Son. Nice people and great experiences
The staff and the other residents were all very kind and friendly. I will deff be back.
Great service, very clean bathrooms! Nice. Didn’t like trying to sleep in a bunk- bed. Too short, very difficult to set up with sheet and blanket,
It was very nice and clean. Quiet and very friendly staff.
Location good but service not good.
Make sure to bring cash. They forgot to tell us parking is not included. Have to pay for a permit. Hotel desk clerk gave me a shady vibe. I come in for the evening he says come back and talk to me in 5 minutes. I go to the desk and he says did you cancel the room for tonight? I say why would I pay cash up front and the. Cancel? I tell him you may have another guest with the same first name. Just seemed odd to me. My room was by the kitchen area so it could get a little noisy at times. Location was great. Restaurants near by and train station 3 minutes away.
Very small rooms, overall it is an old building but very nice staff.
very nice
friendly and helpful staff, conveniently located to subway and supermarket, very clean, good value for money. A total hit
GREAT HOSTEL CLOSE TO GROCERY STORE .METRO . ÀND DOWBTOWN ARIA . GREAT INTERNET WIFI SPEED .GREAT KITCHEN TO COOK .MAKE COFFE OR TEA .100 % RECOMMENDED :)
Family stay
The Location is awesome. The staff was very good. But unfortunately, my room ac's did not work and then a makeshift room ac was provided which took lot of space. I had to sleep without AC for two nights.
Loved it
Everyone was really nice and it was very clean. The only thing is if you hate any type of noise, dont come here. I usually mind noise but it wasnt too bad. It perfectly situated and the price is perfect. I wipl be staying here next time i come down to toronto. I totally recommend this place.
Great value for money
Clean, convenient location, quiet, very affordable, secure. Shared bathrooms/kitchen were super clean and tidy. Shopping centre across the street. Near the Village. Common areas well cared for. Bring cash to pay for the room. I will definitely be staying here in the future and recommending it to friends.
Decent location and price
Stayed with a friend and had our single beds upgrades to doubles for free. Only thing is they didnt have a debit machine and we weren't told that we would need to pay cash. Our flight landed very late at night so they were lucky we had $400 cash on us.... Room was decent, quiet area. Not very sound proof so have to be pretty quiet anytime after 10. Kitchens are up to date and modern, can come and go as we please and bathrooms are clean and single person only which is great. Avoid the bathroom on the right on the second floor. Water pressure is horrible and showering takes double the time.
Had no fridge or air conditioner or towels.
That only thing I need back was my money that keep like deposited 50 dollars was 15 days pass from the day I arrive to the hotel and still I not have my refund back
Best Place in Downtown
Though when reading reviews i was a little be hesitant, but once i arrived and stay i realised it was much better than expected. Front desk guys always smiling and willing to help day and night. The area you can literally walk in any directions and always find something do to. Close to the subways and trains. Overall my stay was very good, and i would definitely go back to this place guaranteed. Though it is a hostel/hotel, if you are looking for a quite environment where you can sleep peacefully and get work done. This is the place for you, i stayed just under a whole month. Thank you All Days Hostel
Clean hostel close to subway station
The room and hostel was very clean. Everyone cleaned up after themselves. Subway station up the street. close to downtown (30min walk) Check in was quick. Easy checkout. I would stay again. I had a double room with shared bathroom.
the rooms are very small, but clean. The main problem is that some of them are located right in the middle of the kitchen areas, which are in the middle of the corridors, so they fill with the smell of whatever people are cooking at that moment. This place is also advertised as a hostel, but it seemed that in addition to tourists there were many people living there. I found people cooking steaks at 4 in the afternoon or having breakfast at 4 in the morning and making a lot of noise (and smell). The hostel staff also has an odd attitude. One morning someone thought it would be a good idea to start fixing a broken corridor door at 5 in the morning, and when I pointed out to him that he was making a lot of noise and waking people up he shrugged me off. This place has the big advantage of being very centrally located and it's very cheap compared to regular hotels, but you really get what you pay for
Great hostel
Other than a mix up in the initial room reservation, the staff was great and fixed the situation for the next two nights
Clean, awesome location and just what you need! Very affordable for the area.

Facilities need to be improved. Location is perfect.
