Amazing stay at Rivalta hotel. Rooms are clearn and a good size, queen size bed is comfortable. Smart TV with netflix and hdmi. Bathroom is beautifully designed with walk in shower. Room has everything you need; shampoo/conditioner, body lotion, sew kit, shower cap, safe, ironing board, kettle etc. Location is fantastic, everywhere is walkable yo florence. Highly recommend this hotel
Beautiful hotel and great service
The hotel was amazing! The suite we were in was quite large and very clean. Views were amazing too. Staff was super nice and very accommodating with luggage and travel recommendations. It's right next to the river and in a fantastic shopping area.
Perfect location, walkable to all the sights we wanted to go to, and many restaurants around. Room is very comfortable. All the staff were friendly, and speaks english. We were glad we chose this hotel, and river view. We will definitely book this hotel again the next time we come to Florence.
Amazing time spent there!
We stayed in a beautiful room with friendly staff. The location of the hotel was close to shopping and and many points of interest!
Had wonderful experience. Spacious. Clean. Quite pleasing view as well. Would have been better if it was river view, but terrace view wasn't that bad. Bed was comfy as well. Staff were all friendly.
What a beautiful experience! My room was clean and comfortable. The staff at the hotel was friendly and helpful. The location was superb.
Hotel was great.. fantastic location and great staff.. I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Florence…
Perfectly placed on the banks of the river and within short walking distance to all attractions, the Rivalta hotels provides great accommodation option. Its quiet, good wifi, great bar in the lobby, rooms are not crammed, everything is super clean - we really liked it.
This was a dream vacation made better by the comfort and accommodations provided by the staff of this hotel. It is located close enough to all the major attractions - less than a half of mile from most of the historical sites. Yet, it's right along the Arno River in a quiet spot with spectacular views. I was able to catch the sunset on the roof-top terrace of this hotel, and it was a magical moment.
Shower was backed up and water leaked everywhere. The staff who was sent to fix it did everything he could to avoid actually trying to fix the problem. I had to talk into looking to see if the drain was clogged. Also the first floor door was open the entire time making it feel cold. Room was nice and location is great.
Superb location in Florence
Superb location. Very cool hotel. A little bit off the river side road, found through an arch. Incredible rooms with ceilings, and ceiling art.
Overall good experience
Wonderful location and very nice hotel. The breakfast was exceptional.
Beautiful property, great area, extremely clean rooms and excellent concierge.
Gorgeous, well appointed hotel. Would absolutely stay there again!
Great service
Wonderful place just across the Arno river
Room was so nice We had a hot tub , very beautiful Decor. Love it
Beautiful rooms, very comfortable and quiet. Location was perfect too, right on the river and with abundant food and museum options within a 15 minute walk. Would stay here again.
This was a great hotel to stay in Florence. The location is great, right on the river and near high end shopping. The room was generous, and they have great take away coffee. Only wish a little touch up paint, as the room was a bit banged up.
Great location for all sights all walkable. Located also in the shopping district. Room was clean and comfortable not overly large. Rooftop has a great sunset view you can take your drinks up there from the downstairs bar
Great location, everything is within walking distance.
We LOVED our hotel! The staff was top level; the breakfast was an amazing value for the variety and quality of food; our terrace room had the best view if the sunset near the Ponte Vecchio. We couldn’t have been happier to stay or sad to leave. Next time in Firenze…we will be staying here in our Junior suite with a view again!!!!
Well located property and staff was very good. Rooms were clean, but the building is a little dated and could and the layout of the hotel is very odd. A little expensive for what you get.
Amazing rooftop. Fantastic breakfast. Good gym. Clean room. Helpful staff. Great area next to the river.
So close to everything I would highly recommend!
Amazing place to stay very walkable area so much to see. Beautiful hotel
Great location and Hotel! Will stay here next time we visit
Accommodated us when our first room was not up to par. Everyone was so nice and they fixed it right away.
A little hard to find initially, but a beautiful hotel with lovely rooms and nice view over the river. Staff are extremely nice, easy to walk everywhere and so much to see around Florence
Fantastic! Great location, great staff, clean, modern.
Very uncomfortable bed and bedding.
great stay, hotel staff friendly and right when you walk out surrounded by luxury shops and music at night. easy enough to walk to find something to eat. room was clean and comfortable with great view of the river
The hotel was beautiful and well located and the staff was extremely helpful.
Wonderful hotel. It was clean, nice facility, had a gym, and was walkable to everything you’d want to see. Close to train station also.
Property was very nice and well kept. Room was nice staff was friendly at checkin. The male staff member at the desk the next day was a little rude. Breakfast was included in the morning and was good. There was a miss communication about the hotel being in an LTZ zone. There needs to be communication that hotel guests can drive in that zone to get there and hotel will take care of getting your car registered so you aren’t fined. Bc this wasn’t communicated long story short we will prob end up with a massive fine. But hotel was nice and the river view was beautiful and conveniently located you can walk everywhere nice u get to the hotel.
Overall a good stay. Great location. Good service. Would be nice to have a bar on the roof terrace
Great stay in Florence at the Rivalta Hotel. The location is excellent as well the room size and rooftop terrace.
I would come back. Clean, friendly staff, nice courtyard, spacious room.
Nice room and great service!
The hotel is in a great location. The only issue we had was the gnats that were flying around the bar which got into the alcohol bottles.
Beautiful boutique style hotel with excellent service, impeccable rooms and amazing views. The hotel is situated close to all the main attractions.
Excellent! The property was clean and comfortable. The staff was wonderful. Rooms are very quiet!
Located in an excellent location, with wonderful courtyard breakfast and excellent friendly staff.
Great all around
Great location and nice rooms, lobby, etc. Definitely recommend!
staff was super.. clean environment.. hotel location is a plus
The room was very comfortable and the location was awesome. We had a view of the river and could walk to several cafes and restaurants.
We loved our stay. The staff was friendly and helpful, the rooms were large and comfortable, and you’re in a great location - close to everything. We would stay again!
Florence Gem
The location can't be beat. So easy to find the tourist spots, coffee & ice cream spots as well as restaurants within close proximity to hotel. The daily view of the Ponte Vecchio was a real treat. The personnel could not have been more friendly or helpful to us. Thank you so much Serena & others.
Cheiro de esgoto no quarto Recepção pouco atenciosa Banheiro escuro Localizaçao otima Café da manha excelente
Quarto pequeno e bem escuro Recepção pouco amistosa Localização ótima Café da manhã bom
Room was quite small and lacking natural light for a premium suite. Also, the room had poor ventilation.
This hotel was beautiful, the room we stayed in was massive and felt very updated with a really nice and clean bathroom. The location on the river was beautiful, the property had a private rooftop which had the most beautiful panoramic sunset views of Florence. The location was very close to everything, far enough away from Ponte Vecchio that you weren't in that mass of people and a quick walk to pop over the river to explore the area of Santo Spirito. This location is a little tough to find the first time, it's tucked into a building with a very nice private courtyard, you have to keep an eye out for the signs for the "Alfieri Collezione". The hotel has a restaurant and bar, we would grab a bottle of wine from the bar and some snacks and sit on the private rooftop for sunset and that was lovely. The staff was very helpful and friendly. There is an elevator for accessible access to rooms and carting luggage in and out. I'd rate the hairdryer in the room a 5/5, best hairdryer I've had in a hotel, which to me means high power rather than just blowing warm air in the direction of your head.
Great location - gorgeous high ceilings and tub! Loved spaciousness
We had an amazing time at the Rivalta Hotel. My husband and I stayed in two different River View suites over a week, and both were equally amazing. The staff were phenomenal and went above and beyond for us. When we arrived we discovered that one of our suitcase locks was broken, and they sent someone up with tools to help us get in to it. We loved the breakfast each morning and rooftop patio. Very happy with our entire visit and will absolutely be back!
Rooms were not that great for the price. The furniture resembled an American college dorm room. It’s a good location and friendly staff though.
Enjoyed our stay Excellent location Very friendly and helpful staff
Great location, perfect views, great room
Florence
Beautiful hotel and in a great location. Valet parking made it very easy traveling with a car. Close walking distance to all the best sights of Florence.
Highly recommended!
I had an excellent stay. The staff were amazing and very helpful. The food (breakfast) was very tasty. Only downside was the a/c didn’t seem to be working as good. Otherwise I would definitely stay here again next time I’m in Florence.
Great hotel! Nice staff, clean room, and great location!!
the location is excellent, the service was good. breakfast was good, the coffee (americano) was kept in a termus and got cold very quickly, they refilled only when it was emptied, which led to having cold coffee most morning.
The property was within walking distance to many attractions to include museums and shopping. The staff was very friendly and helpful. During our stay there was construction at an adjacent property which resulted in us changing our room. The hotel is nestled within a group of adjoining properties. I would recommend that you not rent a car as there is very little space for parking. Check with the hotel staff regarding any adjacent construction. Overall, it was a great hotel which we will most likely visit in the future.
Beautiful Hotel, Perfect Location!
We were visiting for our honeymoon in March - this hotel was in a perfect location for visiting all the sites in Florence while also being close to the train station. We had a room overlooking the river with a beautiful view and a nice breeze at night. Even though the location can be busy, at night the street wasn't too loud to keep the window open since Italy has restrictions on air conditioning. The staff was very kind and accommodating for anything we asked or needed of them!
For the amount paid, the bathroom had rust on the shower door and mirrors, and there were mosquitoes in the room! We never opened the window since we went in March and the weather was cool, so it concerning we had bugs in the room!
Stay was good. Only downside was hard bed.
Friendly check in experience. The room was spacious (considering it’s in Florence) and quite stylish. We were happy to learn we had breakfast included, and the food was delicious!
We had the suite junior with river view. I was really nice, the view is amazing. Very spacious room and comfortable.
Great hotel, clean and in the center. Close to all attr!ctions in florence.
Great Stay, with amazing workers.
Perfect hotel perfect location
This is the best hotel with just the perfect location. Everyone was just wonderful and everything was exceptionally clean... 5 star hotel!!
Great stay! Lovely rooms, clean and a great size. Fantastic shower!! Such a lovely hotel. Staff were great. Only thing is we did not see the name Rivalta at all so was hard to know if we were at the right spot. Rest of the stay was great. Location is wonderful. We walked everywhere. Would stay here again.
Apart from being a little noisy at night, the hotel was very good with helpful staff. Breafast was excellent as was the location.
Warm welcome on arrival , although we had an issue with parking as the allocated spot was being used by a van. Had to park in disabled bay while the hotel staff sorted out the parking. Taken to our room no 421in the main building. Looked as if we were in a 5 star hotel bedroom. Lovely furnishing and a jacuzzi bath. All tastefully decorated. The umbrella in the room for our use was a real blessing as unfortunately it rained a few times during our trip. We also booked another room for my children, no 207 in the old part of the hotel. They were amazed at the size of it and the jacuzzi as well. They were surprised that they had such a quality room and thought they were in the wrong room. Downside in being in the older part of the hotel was that to go to the reception or the gym , you had to go through the open courtyard- Breakfast had a great selection of food and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Only down side is that the scrambled eggs, bacon and bean stew were tepid if not cold but we could get a freshly fried egg on order if needed. The location was excellent. Few minutes walk to the Ponte Vecchio bridge and the main sites of Florence. The car was parked away from the site but would be brought back for us when needed, with less than half an hour wait. Although, Florence is walkable we used the car to have a look at the local scenery and the shopping outlet to the North of Florence. All in all a lovely stay at the amazing hotel and the beautiful city of Florence.
I cannot say enough good things about this hotel. We will definitely stay here again next time we are in Firenze. The views of the river and town are incredible from your room, but there’s also a little rooftop terrace with stunning views. There’s a gorgeous little courtyard with tons of seating to relax, lots of seating and clean, nice bathrooms in the lobby. Not only will they store your luggage for you, before and after check-in time, they immediately take your luggage from your tired arms and take it to your room for you. They were so friendly and helpful, and the entire property is gorgeous. I especially liked the little library/wine nook right as you enter. The mini-fridge in the room had the best options out of the hotels we stayed at in Italy. The fridge had water, juice, soda, beer, and wine. The breakfast restaurant Foody Farm had so many options-pastries, fruit, eggs, bacon, cakes, and the staff asks if you’d like any coffee, cappuccino, or an omelet. We also walked everywhere we went easily! Perfect location!
Good location, 10 minutes to the historical center, excellent bed, great breakfast, warm in winter.
Fantastic location! Would stay here again. The terrace was amazing
Will never book this hotel again
One of the best hotels I've ever stayed at.
Beautiful room and service and amazing view.
First off I am not a big reviewer and I only make a review if I really need to. I was in Italy for 12 days and this is the only complaint I had. If your a fan of the SUPERNATURAL then you would love it. Not joking either. I could not sleep for 2 days because it was that bad. If you like a hotel that’s has a rude front desk and not willing to help then you got the right hotel. Also the roof was dirty and does not really match the photos. I paid for the suite and had to take multiple hallways and passages and even walked through another apartment building to get to my room. The king size bed comes with 2 pillows so you could use your imagination. It’s a 2 star hotel for a 5 star price. Do not stay here. Only thing nice was that ponto vechico bridge was walking distance and that’s it.
Excellent location, mediocre property.
Lovely hotel with very comfortable bed. Great soaking tub and rainfall shower. Super helpful staff. Wonderful location.
Fantastic location, clean room, good food.
Beautiful hotel in a perfect location. Hotel staff were helpful, breakfast was good, room was very clean. The mattress was a bit firm, but similar to other European hotels. We would stay here again with pleasure.
Big and clean room 👍👍👍 I will come back if I got same room
Very goog
We loved our stay here! It’s central to all things you’ll want to see and do in Florence and the staff was absolutely wonderful and so helpful!
Beautiful hotel! Breakfast and the restaurant are wonderful Near all shopping and convenient to everything
It is located in a central area making it easy to explore the city
Excellent facility, the best location, nice personal,
Our room was the deluxe double with jetted tub. Very clean, king bed was comfortable. Bathroom well appointed with nice large walk in shower and separate large bathtub. Location was perfect. Close to restaurants, shops. Pharmacy, minimart and laudrymat within 7, or under, min walk. Breakfast was amazing with bacon, scrambled eggs, fruits, pastries, small sandwiches. Etc. Customer service very good. No self laundry services or microwaves available. Foody farm is where the breakfast is. Its just the next door down from hotel lobby. We would definitely stay here again and recommend this hotel for couples.
What a glorious hotel! Everything about it was wonderful. We walked to our tours at the Uffizi, the Academie to see David, the Pitti Palace, Bobili Gardens and the Point de Vecchio. My only regret was that we didn’t stay in the room longer to enjoy the many amenities. Breakfast was delicious, the restaurant provided an amazing buffet of fresh and healthy food. Thank you for your hospitality, we will definitely return and recommend you to all our friends
This was my 4th time to Florence, and Alfieri Signature Suites was probably the best hotel I've stayed in Florence. Clean facilities & very friendly staff. Excellent experience overall.
It’s tried to be upscale but everything needs an update.
This was an amazing place and stay what ever we needed they helped. We had a wonderful breakfast which was included in stay lots of local foods and American food.
Only bad thing I have to say is that our shower head wasn’t working. We had to use the small shower stick.
The blend of traditional and modern architecture gave a relaxed yet contemporary feel. The Riverside suite was particularly appealing with 180degree views along the river to Ponte Vecchio. Superb breakfast selection for all tastes. The location was particularly convenient with a hugh number of historical points of interest within just a few minutes walk, to say nithing of an endless choice of cafés and restaurants. If you like coffee you're in luck - even the stuff you think might not be good IS good!
