Excellent stay, we received a complimentary upgrade to a King Suite, which was beautiful. The room was comfortable & very spacious. The staff were great & really helpful with advice on the area. There is no room service but we could order from the restaurant & take to the room. Transport hubs were close by making it easy to get around the strip. Would stay again.
The staff members were wonderful
I selected this hotel because I wanted to be off the strip but still have room service and a pool, both of which were advertised. When we arrived we were told that the pool was closed due to maintenance, so no pool. The Uber driver who took us back to the airport today told us that there were several pools nearby, open to the public but the staff at the hotel failed to mention this, even after I stated that was a primary reason for choosing the Ahern. After getting settled in the room and looking over the menus for the restaurants, I pressed the room service button on the phone, which was answered by the front desk because they don't have room service "yet." The restaurants are across from the hotel in a convention building where there was a trading card event going on. Instead of being able to walk straight through to the restaurant, we were forced to go back to the hotel, go to the 3rd floor and take a walkway to the upstairs of the convention area so that we could go back downstairs and make our way through the people to get to the restaurant. We were stopped repeatedly and asked where our wristbands were for the event and we had to keep explaining that we were guests at the hotel and headed to the restaurant. The second morning a security guard even told me "there's no breakfast anymore" at 11:30am. (My breakfast was in fact, delicious Mr. Rude Security Guard). The room was clean, the beds comfy and the water pressure was great. I just wish the advertised amenities exist
Although this hotel is a bit removed from the center of the action in Vegas, it was a great place to stay. The room was clean, spacious and stylish, the bed comfortable, the shower nice and hot, the staff nice and helpful. The pink tint on the windows was odd and the WiFi was so slow I ended up using the tethering on my phone instead. Still, for the price it was a great place to stay and I would definitely stay here again.
My husband and I stayed here just one night because we were leaving flying out the next day I love love love this hotel. Gorgeous looking out the window. Restaurants to choose from inside you don’t even have to go outside. Convenient parking. We slept very comfortable. I am coming back to stay for more than one day.
I loved my stay. I would stay here again.
Love, love, love The Ahern!
I love everything about The Ahern! Clean, quiet, convenient, great breakfast! I have family living in Vegas and I choose to stay at The Ahern any time I visit!! Shout out to the on-site security team as well! If you get lost or have any questions, Scott is there to help.
Good hotel. Not luxury.
It was good, not great. Certainly not luxury. Basic cleanliness, not very modern. No laundry service.
clean room & free parking.
clean room. free parking. located near Stratospher Casino. Room charge included free breakfast, but was surprised to find out coffee was not included in the free breakfast.
It was an outstanding stay
Very nice hotel with decent service. Choice of restaurants was limited but for was good. Pool was out of service and room could have been cleaned upon initial check in
This hotel has no microwave I the room and the water press is low
Good property. A little out of the way.
Clean. Location.quite
Great hotel off the strip. Quiet and new
Great find! Easy access from air port, clean, safe, helpful staff, and the restaurant is wonderful! This will be our place to stay when in Las Vegas.
We always stay at the Ahern when in town. Clean, convenient, and great staff. Ottimo's dining is always good.
Very good value. Bed was a little hard for my liking.
Ahern staff at the front desk were super friendly and attentive. The room was clean, and a generous size to comfortably stay and relax, even with a group. My package included breakfast at their Ottimo restaurant and it offered several great plated options. The food was terrific, good portion size, and the staff remembered us when we stopped by later in the day. The hotel is off the strip, which was perfect for my needs on this trip. It is a short walk to the Monorail to conveniently get around without needing to uber/cab. You can cut through the Sahara or reach it at street level. I had a late flight home and was not only able to use the bell service to store bags on the final day, but the lobby is a really comfortable space to chill out, so it was nice to unwind before leaving. I would absolutely stay here again!
Always amazing, comfortable and easy! Love this simple hotel ! Perfect for family!
The breakfast was amazing! The opportunity for late checkout was very much appreciated. Staff were friendly and helpful.
Overall good for the price. Free made-to-order breakfast was excellent! It redeemed the not so great parts of the stay. Some of the best breakfast I’ve had! The room was decently nice. I didn’t love the dark carpets, but it was clean. The water pressure was bad and sounded like it was struggling, then the shower completely stopped a few mins into my shower. The colored glass was cool, but felt kinda claustrophobic to me. 2 free water bottles was nice. The hotel and restaurants were all nice but in the surrounding areas outside it’s kinda ghetto. However, we felt safe because security guards were patrolling, including in the free parking lot.
Enjoyed My Stay!
Hotel was great the restaurant a cross the way was out of everything including good service. Didnt know there was a walkway from the hotel over the street until last day. Rooms could use a coffee maker and more hooks in the bathroom. They also need to change out the shower heads. Low water pressure.
Ok would go back because of the location.
The stay was ok. the hotel was quiet and the location was ok. I was charged 100$ for a package being held which as I wasnt aware they charge per day not just a pick up fee I was surprised. I wanted to be close to main street so the location was ideal. The linens are why I gave a lot of 4s....... I would go back so I put 4 instead of 3. The bed sheets were the cheapest things I have felt. Not luxury lol. I couldn't sleep too well on them. (this might sound precious) They need to rethink their supplier as they were sandpaper. The breakfast was not so great, it came cold and I paid 4$ for the worst coffee ever........ Main street has great coffee shops so don't waste your money at the hotel.
First time, and disappointed.
The pictures were nice, which caught my attention but I was disappointed overall. The bed wasn’t comfortable, the pillows were hard as a rock. The shower head had corrosion all over it, and the pressure was extremely weak, not to mention its supposed to be non smoking and the entire floor was smelling like marijuana After I brought it to the attention of management all I got was I’m sorry and we can’t promise that we’ll be able to do anything for you. So that wasn’t exactly an invitation for me to ever return.
Great hotel, great value
Rooms were clean and updated. Breakfast was wonderful. Pool area is small and was under construction. But I liked the smaller hotel feel and no casino.
price
Como parte del vip nos dieron late checkin y un desayuno muy rico, la habitación muy cómoda y limpia
Happy
I hated the pink film on the windows- specially after a few days it gets on your nerves, that is the only thing I did not like about it. Otherwise it was clean and pretty- probably the quietest Hotel room I have ever stayed in!!! The food and entertainment on site were great, all the employees I dealt with were very nice and helpful. It is a super easy walk to the strip and very easy walk to the monorail. There are a few homeless people around the area but nothing bothersome and I felt completely safe walking even as a lone female and late at night, There is a Walgreens and a McDonald’s very close by. I wil for sure stay here next time.
No issues during the stay! Helpful staff and clean, quiet hotel. Would have appreciated a heads up about the convention that was happening, but it didn't hinder our experience there too much.
I had a wonderful stay at this gorgeous hotel
Beautiful property right next to the strip. Easy free parking and a full breakfast included.
Worst mattress I’ve ever slept on. A little dingy. A little dirty.
It was great!
Quieter than strip
Great Clean Hotel. Although the tv in room lost signal a lot. So cannot watch tv.
Very spacious room with nice view. Wifi connection was a little slow
One of my favorite hotels to stay at in Las Vegas
Always a great time when staying here. My preferred place to stay when in Vegas.
Great property close to the convention center with no resort fees and a fridge!
Great choice Hotel
The Ahern Hotel is a gem! Great amenities, delicious breakfast, free parking, and a friendly staff make it more than worth the price. Highly recommended.
I love the Ahern, and don’t think I could stay anywhere else in Vegas. Room was amazing, food was great, and parking is so convenient. Staff are super friendly and helpful
I loved it!! I felt safe and truly enjoyed the stay, my reservation came with complimentary breakfast at the restraint just next door (it’s still a part of the hotel). It’s a short walk to the monorail as well!
Gem
Great location, great breakfast. Clean rooms. Nice staff. My only complaint is the low water pressure in some rooms. This will be my new go-to spot for Vegas.
Every visit here is amazing. They upgraded my room to a junior suite free of charge. Unfortunately, my trips to Vegas are solely for medical reasons. I enjoy my stay here since it's convenient, clean, and free from crowds. The bonus is it's very quiet here.
Nice staff. Quite and clean room. Enjoyed the Beatles show
First stay at this property. Easy access, parking. Clean, roomy, and good price. No resort fees.
Great stay off the strip
Our 2nd time staying here and we loved it both times. Not too far off the strip yet close enough and easily accessible to everything else. Will stay here again!
Nice Hotel! Great staff all the way around. They took care of me well in my 3 day drunk binge. Highly recommend the Ahern. Way better than the loud casino hotels.
Was a quick stay but had a modern and intimate feel.
Very nice small hotel not to far from center lf strip or downtown. Good option for families not necessarily needing gaming on site.
Clean facility and friendly staff
This was an excellent choice
Great value, clean and spacious
Ahearn boutique hotel
Great little boutique hotel off the strip: free parking, no resort fee, competitively priced, complimentary breakfast, wine. Walking distance to Duce bus or tram. Would stay here again.
Great hotel amid the over-priced resorts
Quiet, comfortable room with free parking in a convenient location just off the Vegas strip. Best of all, no need to walk through a smoky casino every time we went to/from our room. Real gem of a hotel. Staff were super-helpful with reservation changes, event tickets and general information.
Rooms size are too good to be true.
Floors are not clean. Queen size beds supposed to be a little big but it was a full size beds. Overall, everything was good and hotel housekeeping staffs were very nice. Staffs in the front office were young and nice as well. Breakfast foods were complimentary and good.
Nice little boutique hotel.
Love love love
Absolute wonderful stay! Clean, comfy, spacious, amazing food, friendly staff. Allan the bartender at the chop house was the very best and the bartender at the breakfast spot down stairs (I didn't get her name.) Easy parking and all of the extra perks helped out so much. This is our new spot! The only down side is the $100 refundable fee per night. I never saw it and it tied up money that I needed since I was there on business.
Super clean, comfortable bed, fantastic breakfast and lots of in room amenities
The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Everyone was professional and respectful.
Very clean and quiet off the strip Easy free parking Breakfast included but we left early. Comfortable bed.
I love the Ahern, beautiful rooms, lobby, restaurants, and the cars are super fun
Very friendly staff clean and pretty big rooms would definitely go back any other day
Great place. Second time There and got a corner room With views on two sides!
Great hotel stay.
Awesome stay, the entire staff at this hotel was amazing. Breakfast was delicious, this was my 1st time at this hotel but definitely not the last
Great option in Vegas
Great hotel close to freeway and strip
Nice older hotel in a safe location. Very quiet.
Everything was absolutely amazing
Big rooms and very clean, professional staff and very nice and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.
Clean property, better than staying at strip.
Ahern is Comfortable
Very comfortable stay Ahern is at the north end of the strip close up the Strat Very clean and quiet
I have never stayed here before, and I have to admit that I was surprised. It is just off the North end of the strip, so it's not bad for location. Restaurants in the facility were good, and it is right next door to a Las Vegas icon. Amazon was having its annual AWS convention/party across the street, and it wasn't even noticeable. If I choose rooms for my next solo business trip to LV, I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.
Very Clean and Friendly Staff
The staff was kind and helpful
Excellent service, safe, clean and reasonable.
I was considered a “VIP” at booking, which would’ve granted me a free upgrade. Upon checking in, none of the ladies asked if it was a special occasion, was I celebrating, nor was my room upgraded. I had researched prior and a lot of others said there was no deposit, but there was, a $300 hold I wasn’t expecting. The girls at check in just weren’t friendly and sort of set the tone for the stay. Wouldn’t stay here again based off that initial encounter alone. Just because it’s a cheaper price than being on the strip, doesn’t mean you’re going to get quality. Spend the extra money and book elsewhere!
It was... alright.
The stay was fine except I couldnt sleep. The bed was so hard that we left early since we are NV residents, we luckily had that option. But honestly, I might as well slept on the floor.
Las Vegas best kept secret!
This review is long overdue. This is one of Las Vegas is best kept secret. The staff is one of the best hotel staff in the city. The culinary experience consist of comfort food elevated. Their restaurant Ottimo is my absolute favorite. Literally everything on the menu is delicious. Everyone should stay at the Ahern Hotel at least once while visiting Las Vegas, you’ll understand why they earn almost a perfect 10 in reviews.
From Hawaii
Nice hotel. Friendly workers. Close to the strip. Reasonably priced.
Second time staying here. Would love to give five stars but can't due to one major problem that comes up time and tume again from others. No coffee in rooms or lobby. Free breakfast does not include free coffee so you are constantly having to pay out $4 everytime you want coffee. Having no coffee machine in room is a bit ridiculous for a hotel of this quality. Ive stayed in top end and low end and they all have this feature, so why not the Ahern. Pool was closed again, and there is no hot tub so you dont really have any relaxing leisure areas. They do have a gym witha running machine. The rooms are big and have lively bathrooms. Beds are a little hard. I stayed here 4 nights and do have a bad neck now. Tv channels are limited. Parking is great and free. Lots of security around so you feel safe. Breakfast restaurant is in opposite building and you get 4 options. Some very cool classic cars always out front to. Biggest downside has to be the coffee facilities.
Best luxury boutique in Vegas. No comparison especially for the price. Can get anywhere on the strip as monorail stop across the street.
Quiet little boutique hotel at end of the strip. Walk to monorail. Free breakfast, comp wine, discount on dinner. Great value, no resort fee, free parking!
nice, clean, quiet not busy street i would recommend it
Excellent stay
Nice and clean. We got upgraded to 9th floor which was nice. HDTV and fast internet. Spacious working desk. Good stay.
Great hotel
First time staying at Ahern. Beautiful room and super friendly staff
Favorite hotel
Second time staying. Love the location but love that Ahern has clean beautiful rooms and very friendly staff.
We stayed for NYE for Janet Jackson concert and with my best friends. Hotel is modern, clean, comfy and quiet in the room we got. Complimentary breakfast with in house restaurant was quiet nice.
This hotel was abit off the beaten path- but was fine with us because we take a lyft or uber anywhere anyway. Breakfast included was such a bonus- unheard of in Las Vegas. Quite place with no casino- but again worked for us.
Very clean good location on Sara Boulevard. All of the staff was great very quiet cause there was no casino. Restaurants are connecting building were very good. Definitely would stay here again if you want to clean quiet place to stay and it’s right next to the Golden steer restaurant, which is the best steak and seafood place in town.
will reserve here again in the future
If you’re looking for a quiet place just off the strip, book your room here! Great rates, clean, it’s just great!
Staff was loud in the hall at 9am, doors aren’t quiet, hear a lot
All time Favrouite One stop Ahren is Best Speciall Service and food unbelivable
Excellent location to all of our favorite spots, amenities are super and Effie the concierge is an asset!

Beat-Up
This was billed as a boutique hotel. The rooms are badly in need of updating. Carpets were worn, furniture cheap and worn, wall paint chipped. The room was clean, as far as I could tell, but beat up. If you’re looking for a cheap place to stay it might be fine, but don’t expect much. The staff were all terrific.
