This was our second visit to X10, after our first in 2019. With two young children, X10 is perfect with the pools, beach and activities on offer. The location is excellent, easily walkable to restaurants and shops on the main road. Good selection at breakfast, though the quality of evening meals at local restaurants I think is higher. Having ready access to the beach is also very handy as the walks along the coast are exceptional. We found the cleanliness of the room to be excellent and refreshed since our last visit. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful - in this regard, Thailand never fails to deliver. A fantastic trip, thank you X10 for making it so memorable !!

Great location from the beach, and numerous pools, approx. 10 min walk to the high street with shops and many restaurants, great family rooms and nice selection for breakfast buffet. Had lunch a few times and kids eat free when there are paying adults, a nice touch.

Good for kids and family, a bit overpriced for what it actually turned out to be. The rooms are not high quality. But it’s clean and fun

The resort is beautiful, the rooms are a good size. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The different pools were great for families or just for adults. If you are walking it is a short walk into Khao Lak by beach or by road. If you don’t want to walk taxis are 150 baht.

The hotel does not have the '5-star wow factor' that other hotels further up the coast do, however the staff and location more than make up for this. It is located on a nice quiet stretch of the beach (that is not affected too much by the tide), and within a short walk to the small town which has many good restaurants and a few bars. The hotel was modern and clean with 5 good sized pools. The only downside was the sliding glass doors in the bathroom and the lack of sunbeds by the adult pool (during peak times). The hotel was almost full occupancy during our stay so the breakfast was a bit crowded. The standout part of our stay was the attentiveness and interaction with the hotel staff. This was far and above what we had experienced in other hotels in this area. The friendliness and assistance made the holiday that much better than other hotels (which we had noted in other peoples reviews prior to booking). A special mention and thanks should go to the pool bar and seaside restaurant (Lily, Yogs, Janny, Kwan, Belle and Juny) along with the staff in the reception (Aidy, Hans, Kathleen and Gapyw).

Great hotel, close enough to Kohlak Center to grab a taxi on the run and on the beach for some sun and sea. Staff were very helpful and always pleasant. Food was very good while also being close enough to local restaurants to eat out. Pool were always clean and fun, all in all a 10/10 experience

There wasnt anything we didnt like it was just perfect in every way. We left feeling very grateful.

50 Anniversary

Celebrating a family occasion with all our family and grandchildren. Great hotel for children and the adults alike lived up to all of our expectations,. Excellent value for the money. A special mention should be made of all of the staff who made our celebration so special and full of smiles

Just returned from 10 nights at X10. Very good hotel with all the features you would expect from a 5* hotel. We stayed in 2 deluxe pool access rooms (7111 & 7112) directly opposite the main restaurant, very convenient. Quiet rooms with their own patios. Short walk to the beach which is lovely. Restaurants and shops are 5-10 mins walk or you can get a taxi from right outside the hotel. Highly recommend X10.

Pleasant mid category hotel.

Had a pleasant stay at X10 - it’s quite a large resort and not many guests, so felt a bit isolated. For breakfast you need to book a slot to go as they prepare everything from scratch and you can’t even get your own fresh fruit or juice - everything has to be brought to the table. Restaurant and drinks prices were on the high side.

We could not fault anything during our 8 day stay. The facilities, staff and food were all amazing! The resort is a great size for our children to have some free rein and explore between the waterslide pool and the pool our room was connected to. We stayed in a swim up family room in the beach wing and I highly recommend this location and the room layout was perfect for us. 2 bedrooms separated by a door, the kids had bunks, bean bags and tv and their favourite was turndown service Oreos and milk every night. Beach was great, clean. Resort is only a 10 minute walk into Khao Lak where there are many great, cheap restaurants to eat at. We would gladly return to this resort again

Comfortable but without charm

There are alot of thought in this place, little things that make your stay comfortable, but it totally lacks charm. It’s easy to clean, but the rooms feel empty. The balcony was sad and we didn’t sit there once. We have two small children and also had a problem with the opening hours of the restauarant, that opens 12 for lunch and 18 for dinner.

Fabulous hotel with professional friendly staff would definitely recommend

The hotel was excellent and was directly on a nice beach. The swimming pools were excellent including one that was shaded in the afternoon thus ideal for a fair skinned swimmer. Overall the facilities were excellent quality with the exception of the ping pong tables. The one let down was the piped music in the main restaurant and the food in the main restaurant although I must say that prices were reasonable by Hotel standards.

Really enjoyed our stay here at the hotel, all staff were very helpful and friendly and nice.

X10 Khao Lak

Clean and comfortable accommodation located on the beach. A little far from the centre of town, but hotel did have a shuttle service at cost that only departed three times daily.

Idllyic and relaxing - with a kids club for the children and relaxing spa for the adults - there's something for everyone! Will definitely come back again.

Ideal for family holiday or for any holiday

Modern hotel/resort with well designed rooms landscapes gardens with at least six large pools. Beach access and very good activity programme. Superb buffet breakfast- huge range and excellent quality. Staff are exceptional. Great place to visit the area and to relax.

nice family hotel, so many activities to do

Nice new family hotel. The kids enjoyed with many activities and many free offers such as free soft drink and popcorn for kids in the afternoon, free coffee and water 24 hrs. The only thing need to improve is bakery for breakfast; bread is so dry, pastries are not so good. We will go back again. Thank you

You won't be sorry to go to the X10 Khaolak

Great place to stay - My wife and I stayed at X10 for 13 nights, our stay was brilliant, they don't call Thailand the land of smiles for nothing, the staff had smiles and so did we. The hotel has all the modern conveniences that you would expect and is not overly expensive to eat at the resort too. Room service menu is delicious and comes very quickly - the use of the X10 app allows you to order either to your room or to a table by the pool with ease. As a couple we found that the segregation of the children and adult pools were excellent, you simple wouldn't know children were on site really so don't be put off if you want your adult company. My wife had many massages at the hotel beauty centre where it was half price from opening till about 1pm which was a bargain, both beauty treatments and massages were of a good quality. One thing I would say is that a lot of people were reserving sunbeams from about 6AM and not using them, the hotel was supposed to have a no-reserve policy but didn't implement it till our last couple fo days and know what???? IT WORKED (Please hotel management - strictly adhere to your own policies) every normal holiday maker liked this, all it did was stop the selflessness of people who reserved but didn't use till about lunchtime - Not fair. The hotel provides towels for the poolside or beach free of charge and they are extremely large. oh and it is a cashless hotel - brill, Would I go again? In a heartbeat and we will return soon - Many Thanks to all

Fantastic location, resort, pools and staff

Stayed in Jan '18 - 2 adults, 3 kids from 3-8 years old. Took a Kids Room which had a very large kids annex with a bunk bed. Annex was so large we easily shifted the sofa bed in the main room into the kids room so all kids slept together. Hotel is new and grounds are fantastic. Guests mainly German/Scandi background but all food selections at breakfast buffet and restaurants cater to all tastes. X10 is a level up in style to its sister hotel Sunwing Kamala which we've also stayed at and had a fantastic time previously. Sunwing Kamala is 95% families vs. X10 60% and the rest mainly older couples. Enough staff speak sufficient English to get by and all staff are extremely friendly. Hotel's is right next to beach so you can switch between pool/beach all day. 5 minte walk to Khao Lak main shopping street , which is about 1km long once you get there. Lots of shops, resturants, markets etc. Short taxi rode to Biang Niang markets and all its restaurants too. Overall a great family holiday.

tämä on loistava vaihtoehto sekä perheille että pariskunnille. Kodikas alue jossa kaikki lähellä. Hieno ranta, upeat altaat ja hyvä palvelu. Huonevaihtoehtoja paljon. Joitakin aktiviteettejä. Keskusta vajaan kilometrin päässä jossa kaikki palvelut.

We got to the room who had an aint invasion, took too long time for them to change rooms… the facilities was outdated like kids slide had things coming out that hurt the kids, and We also found silverfish in our rooms. the food was Great, location great and kids club amazing. They didnt compensate us for all the problems.

Très belle hotel en bord de mer au calme avec une belle plage. Par contre nous n avons pas pu prendre le petit déjeuner et ni manger au buffet car plus cher qu en France, heureusement il y a une cafetière à disposition dans le hall. De plus il n y a pas de navette gratuite pour se rendre au marché ou au centre ville. Faut toujours avoir la main a la poche. Dommage...

Fantastisk hotel ned til vandet 🏝️🌴

Vi ankom 1 time før indtjeknink , og blev mødt af super venligt personale 😊 Fik værelses med det samme , det svarede helt op til forventninger . Det var super dejligt med hovedpuder : blød / hård og man kunne spørge efter fler . Kunne måske være lidt fler knager til håndklæder på toilet . I restauranten var der tip / top service og hvis maden ik var som ønsket var der god service . Morgenmad var dejlig varieret og stort udvalg . Vi vil klart anbefale det hotel til andre 😊 Lidt træls kuffert skal ligge på gulvet !

Utrolig barnevennlig, flere soner for små / større barn, et eget basseng for voksne etc. Nydelig strand ved hotellet, med lite folk. Deilig frokost. Hyggelig ansatte.

Wunderbarer Aufenthalt im Hotel X10! Wir hatten eine großartige Zeit im Hotel X10. Der Service war exzellent und das Personal unglaublich freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Professionalität des Teams war bemerkenswert, und es war überall super sauber. Das Essen war hervorragend und sehr günstig, was das Erlebnis noch angenehmer machte. Die Vielfalt und Qualität der Speisen haben uns begeistert, und wir haben jede Mahlzeit genossen. Insgesamt war unser Aufenthalt im Hotel X10 einfach perfekt. Wir werden definitiv wiederkommen und können es jedem nur wärmstens empfehlen!

Mycket bra hotell med bästa tänkbara service. Utmärkt frukost, bland de bästa i thailand. Ska man anmärka på något är stranden skräpig men det gäller inte bara vid hotellet. Även juicen vid frukost var lite standard men då kan man välja pressad frukt istället. Rekommenderas varmt!

Es ist eine super schöne gepflegte sehr saubere Anlage an einem wunderschönen Strand in Khao Lak. Alles fußläufig erreichbar am Strand sowie am Abend Restaurants. Wir kommen gern wieder. Es hat alles zu 100 Prozent gepasst.

Everything is good. Problem is I found a lot of ant inside the room, even inside the shampoo bottle. Suggest to bring own bathing staff when stay

A good place to stay at!

Great friendly staff Modern facilities and a very nice beach We stayed at two other hotels in Khao Lak and we found them better in price and value. X10 just felt empty and lacked a good vibe. We booked it for the water park and it was quite dull. Same with the kids club. Even though the staff was super friendly. It is quite off from the stores and restaurants so it cost you at least 400 bat to leave and come back from the hotel by car. Anyway, there is nothing wrong with this place really it just wasn’t our favorite.

This hotel is high class in every Way. You notice already at the reception when checking in that this is a luxury hotel. You are welcomed at the check-In area with a cold drink and a refreshing towel while being seated by friendly staff and facing a large number of service minded staff ready to check you in. We had a 2 room suite in the beach wing. Great modern, yet timeless interior. The interior really makes the difference from most other hotels we have experienced in Thailand and really makes you able just to stay in the room and relax if needed. Besides the great interior there are a lot of small interior details that tells that this is more than just a standard hotel. In the outside area there are multiple pools (5) - one has a large water slide and another is reserved for adults only (+16) and a few more pools In between. Free popcorn and soda for the kids every day from 3-5 pm and free barista-like coffee all day for the adults are also small details that makes a difference. Great food in the restaurant and very friendly and service minded staff. This hotel is highly recommended.

Das Hotal X10 ist einfach traumhaft für Familien. Mit meiner 5-jährigen Tochter war ich in den letzten 5 Jahren 4 mal hier. Das Beste sind wirklich die Betreuerinnen im Kids-Club sowie das gute Frühstück. Das Preisleistungsverhältnis ist sehr gut.

Mest egnet for familier med helt små barn. Alle sengene ved bassenget var okkupert før kl 10, men mange stod tomme nesten hele dagen. Vi hadde booket og betalt for nyttårsmiddag, men denne ble rotet bort av hotellet og vi måtte spise annen plass.

Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis perfekt!

Très bel hôtel en bord de plage. Propreté impeccable de tout l’établissement. Petit déjeuner très copieux et bon ( jus de fruits frais). Proximité de petits restaurants en dehors de l’hôtel pour se restaurer facilement. Un seul bémol, pas forcément lié à cet hôtel : une vie qui s’arrête après 22:00 dans khao lak. Peu de bars ouverts plus tard. Et pas de transat sur la plage ( interdit par la loi). Excellent séjour de 2 semaines dans cet établissement que je recommande

Skønt hotel fredeligt beliggende

Virkelig skønt nyt og lækkert hotel med lyse værelser. Fredeligt beliggende lige ud til havet. Ren og lækker strand. 3 swimingpools i forlængelse af hinanden, heraf en "for adults only" lige ud til stranden med skøn udsigt.10 minutter i begge retninger langs stranden kommer man til lidt by. Specielt nød vi at spise i Beach Bar om aftenen, hvor der var god musik og fantastisk sødt personale. Meget familievenligt og med god stemning. Der var yoga og tai chi på stranden. Vi rejste mor og ung datter og kan varmt anbefale hotellet, hvis man vil slappe af, sole, bade og spise god mad i lækre og rare omgivelser.
