Excellent location
Excellent location for our needs. Great meal at the local pub. Lovely room.
It was clean, quiet and great value, will go again.
Owners communicative, room warm enough. Public transport limited at night time
A little overpriced for what you get. It is fairly clean however, and serves purpose for a stop over.
Had stayed at another room in these properties previously, so was happy not to look anywhere else. Property worked fine for my brief stay.
Good value
It was bad experience about breakfast coffee milk cold insane
Felt the room was unfinished, though clean, it was clear they had been working on the room. The WiFi didn’t work couldn’t find the server let alone use the password,
Place was very clean and quiet.
Needs work
We were disappointed with our stay here. The sofa bed took up most of the room and it was difficult to walk around if the bathroom door was open...which it was as it didn't fit properly. There were cobwebs everywhere, the toilet was dirty, the dressing table drawer was hanging off, the window handles were loose so took two of us to close. The bed linen and towels were clean. The area was lovely.
Good value, good instructions, convenient parking, very nice village.
Lovely little spot
Very spacious room, lots of thoughtful facilities, very comfy bed with lots of fluffy pillows. It was a very enjoyable stay!
Not brilliant!
Freezing room, heating wouldn’t adjust. Very small double bed. One glass for two people. Kettle but no cups etc Booked for two nights but went home after one, preferred long drive home than another bad night sleep!
It is a great place lovely village and eating hous
Stayed here in summer and was amazing rooms are great but at this time of year the heating system needs looking at x we got instructions from owners but after having been told could alter temperature it was only 19 and a smal heater for room and kept tripping back to 16 so spent time changing temp all the time
Cosy, comfortable night stay!
We loved our stay at Findon Rest, cute cosy room with everything we needed for a comfortable night, I don’t understand some of the reviews! This place is great value for money! Clean, cosy and a great location! I would definitely recommend and we will definitely be back again! The bed was so comfy I struggled to get out of it!
The room itself was pleasant, if a bit small, however showing signs of wear like cracks in the wall. Very disappointing for the price paid as we encountered several issues straight off: there were no towels in the room (had to get one from other people we knew staying at the property), no loo roll holder, bathroom door almost impossible to shut. Unlikely to stay there again even though it was convenient.
The property was under renovation our room had massive cracks in the wall and bathroom had mould around the shower tray and the toilet seat slid around. WiFi code didn't work and TV had a dead spot in the screen and had very few channels. Heating did not work and fridge smelt bad. On a good note the the bed was comfortable and there is a nice cafe across the road.
Just what we needed for a one night stay to attend a funeral
Worthing Rest
My 2nd stay at Worthing Rest. Had a different room this time, but still such good value for money.
A really nice room that was easy to find. Just what I needed
Lovely stay
Settled down pretty well as the room was very nice and well equipped for us to feel at home straightaway
Overnight stay
Pleasant overnight stay. Clean and comfortable, but quite basic. Good value for money
A lovely place to stay
It was really good, the only negative is thst the alarm clock was set for 06.10 which i didnt know about and i didnt need to wale up until 08.30, so very annoying. Can you check this when you clean please so its always off.
Ideal pit stop
Perfect spot for an overnight work stop, the Rest is clean, tidy, equipped with everything you need and perfectly situated for local pubs, restaurants and onward travel around south West Sussex.
Room was very small nowwhere to put close awkward brushing teeth tiny sink
For the money it is first class will I stay here again yes I've already booked back in and I would recommend it
Stay at Worthing rest
I found the room to be clean and fresh. The bed was amazing!!!!! I had driven from Liverpool so was glad to get a shower and rest for a couple of hours before starting a night shift. I was impressed by the coded entry system, making it very flexible for people like me that come and go at odd hours!! I will definitely look to book again if I have further work in the area.
Nice room but not clean
The room was very well appointed with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The email with information on how to access the property was clear and easy to follow. However there was a large stain on the bed and as the property is accessed without meeting anyone there was no one to bring this up with.
It was comforttable and clean. It was easy to check in and the location convenient and well appointed.
No Tv and no clean towel everyday and waste of money stay over the weekend as I am not going back anymore
No parking available in a very small village with lots of vehicles already in place - mid afternoon
Quiet village location - large room.
Located in a lovely village atmosphere with two pubs nearby or a walk to Findon shops or short drive to Worthing. Car is essential. Free street parking. Room was wonderful. We had book five days and stayed another two nights. A couple of issues - the room was not ready at 4pm (dark in winter) for our checkin, the maid had just started to clean the room, so we waited in the car out of the cool air and the room was not serviced on two occasions (poor management, but they are off site and had to phone them to source clean towels and toilet paper). Improvement of management of the hotel is a must! Overall a great location, large and lovely room and enjoyed the week (except for the couple of service issues).
For price great
Great room for price large room with sofa all clean big tv and DVD blue ray player
Shower was either scalding hot or freezing cold despite numerous attempts to control temperature. Mould on windowsills and bathroom ceiling was unwelcoming. No hairdryer. But on the plus side the room was clean and bed comfortable. Very overpriced for what you got.
Goodaccommodation.
Very good for the price. We were in Sussex for 1night and just wanted a room with a bed and a shower. nice no frills accommodation. Pub in village was excellent.
You won’t be disappointed.
Very clean and comfortable and in a great location. Two very nice country pubs and a fantastic Indian restaurant just up the road. Good instructions given by the proprietors to access the room and absolutely no fuss. Queen size comfortable bed, ensuite and great value. Thank you for a lovely stay.
Absolutely delightful experience and 100% hassle free. Clear instructions on how to access building + room sent by phone and no extra and unnecessary “check-in” time needed as there is no reception. Clean and tidy room, quiet and easily located by Sat Nav area. I could not have expressed my satisfaction better even if I tried.
Quiet and cosy
The location was perfect for our short stay. Parking is available, although not mentioned on the hotel notes. Pretty village. Great access to the coast.
Lovely
Lovely, quiet, clean, pleasant
Comfortable clean room
Comfortable, clean room. Strange not to meet the owners of the Worthing Rest at all, but sent texts to enable entry in advance. We acknowledged our arrival, but received no more texts. It would have been good to have the option for decaffeinated drinks as we don't usually drink caffeine. Location in village convenient and quiet. Parking outside was easy. Good Indian restaurant in the village.
My stay at worthing rest was one of my more enjoyable business trips, the place was spotless and the bed was so comfy getting up for work was hard, in would definitely use worthing rest again, also great value for money
Small quiet nice hotel without reception
It's a good option if you want to stay in a quiet place and do need reception, breakfast or other similar services - you are left in peace. We stayed in this small unusual hotel for 2 nights, with 2 kids. I had read in the comments that there is no reception and you get instructions by a text message how to enter the hotel and get the key to the room, so that was not a surprise. The room had a double bed and a sofa bed, the bedding for which was in a box next to the sofa. The room is small when you extend the sofa bed but we knew from comments that it's an old property that was renovated. For some reason we did not find shower gel and shampoo in the room although there was hair conditioner, but we also did not bother to call the owner (he did provide his phone number) as we had spare ones with us - perhaps he would have brought them had we asked. As it's a renovated old property and we were with kids it was good to know that downstairs is a shop and so if kids jump that won't disturb anyone downstairs. We did not have a problem parking a car on the street. We did not hear people staying in other rooms. The village is nice. Obviously no breakfast as there's no staff visible in this tiny hotel, but you can make tea and coffee in the room. To some extent it's even hard to call it a hotel because you don't see any staff but it's suitable when you just need a place to stay in peace and quiet.
Nice place, good location, excellent value.
Nice place, well located just outside Worthing, easy enough to find. Contacted by the owner with relevant access info and no problems and he checked several times to make sure everything was okay, which it was. Several eating options in the village if you don't want to drive into Worthing, where there are many more. I would happily stay here again.
Motel type accom-very clean & excellent value
I phoned up to query arrival check-in time and spoke to Sophie - very nice. Told me that parking was on street or a car park at the side. the only car park seemed to be a private one-not for the motel but the street parking was fine. Later I received 2 texts informing me at length, directions to the main door, key code for entry to the building, and a key safe for my room key, & directions to change the heating in the room. It all sounded very odd and complicated and I wondered what it was all about. When I got to the Motel I realised there was no "reception" no staff and the exterior was next to a plumbing shop which looked like all part of the same block - was non-desrcipt in a pretty little quiet . village. I followed the instructions on the text, & after a little grapple with the key safe entered room 9. What a pleasant surprise ! double bed, sofa bed, toiletries, towels everything you could want - welcome folder - perfect! Shower room was compact & access a bit tight up to the bed but not a major issue. Everything was perfectly clean & bright & the bed was comfy & I had a great stay. I left the key in the key safe at 9 in the morning & texted Clive on the number he'd texted me - I got no response -& never saw a soul during my stay!! which was a strange feeling. Maybe the anonymity of the motel is because it used more by contractors as cheap accommodation or because my stay was on a Sunday. Either way it doesn't matter to me, would I return ?- Yes

Ok, but the room was getting very 'tired'. Bathroom not in the best condition, door falling off and no handles.
