Great stay overall
Great location in Myeongdong. Room was huge. Only downside is it was bit noisy at night due to location.
Amazing hotel for the family.
Re: Family suite (sleeps 6) but we travelled with 4ppl. The location was great with many restaurants and shopping within steps from the suite. They offered free laundry service which was a huge bonus for a family of 4. Friendly customer service and helpful at times when we needed some direction except when asking for shopping - the gentleman could not recommend any stores for children 11 years and up. The washroom in our (Family suite) was quite small and lacked drawer space (None) in the entire unit for clothing nor was there a safe to lockup your belongings. It’s too bad the one closet in each room only fit like 4 jackets and didn’t provide more than three hangers. The mattresses in both bedrooms were pretty much placed at ground level which made it more difficult to get up from the bed. Overall, this was a decent suite for a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 children) age 11 15.
Spacious but can be loud depending on neighbors!
The location of this hotel was really nice, downstairs was very close to the heart of Myongdong wish shops, restaurants, cafes, etc. The staff during the whole process was not particularly friendly but they were great at communication via app which was nice. I like that the whole room was spacious but there is not a comfortable place to sit, there is only one chair facing the TV and the other seats are wooden hard chars around the table so it felt awkward at times. My least favorite part was that I could hear all the movement and conversations of other rooms around us and above us so when they would come back late at night it would wake me up. I also never used the huge tub because the faucet was very weak and took way too long to fill up so I just gave up half way.
Highly recommend. Location is perfect. Really close to myeondong underground station so easy to go anywhere. It is about 70 m from the myeondong night markets which is perfect. Lots of street food and shopping so close by but far enough to be quiet at night so you can sleep peacefully. Staff were all very polite and helpful. Many thanks especially to Harry at the front desk who went above and beyond to help us with our airline issues. Will definitely stay again when we come back to Seoul.
Great
The room looked nice, but the windows were sliding windows so you could hear the music from the restaurant across the street from 9-midnight as well as the food carts coming and going.
Very close to the subway and easy to catch a cab if you just walk 2 minutes to the left of the building. Staffs were super helpful and kind, but they were not able to resolve the issue with the room temperature. It was way too hot and A/C was blowing hot air which would increase the temperature of the room and I had an issue waking up in the middle of the night multiple times. Water pressure gets weaker if you try to fill up the tub while showering.
Great location ,right at the start of the marketplace easy to walk everywhere. The little "swimming pool"! inside ais great
Family visit convenient
The location is very convenient. Rooms are spacious. There was a slight draft in one room. Front desk is helpful. I wish we had a room though with the spa.
6 nights at Family timber UH Suite Myeondong
There are both good and bad about staying at UH suite myeondong Family timber room. The bad things are - there is no ventilation, the rooms are dark and dusty. Cabinets broken. Carpet dirty. Furnitures old and worn off. The only good thing i like about staying at UH Suite, they do the laundry for us, very efficient and we received all laundry cleaned and good smell.
Located at adjacent to Myeongdong street, its very convenient for shopping and multiple halal restaurants available around the area. It would be good if the washer include dryer as well.
Convenient location at Myeongdong. Spacious for family.
The property was nice in general however housekeeping may have mistakenly threw away one of my family's personal belongings and was unable to find it.
Great location
Staff was excellent. Beautiful room if you want to stay in Myeongdong.
Had a nice time there and would stay again Pros: -spacious and ambient was nice -bed was comfy -tub is nice (it does take a long time to fill so use your time wisely as you can't unplug after 11pm or you can leave it and unplug in the morning) -bathbomb for the tubs are 13000won and smelt really nice -room was very asthetic -loved the location (close to train station, close to airport bus stop, close to shopping, close to food) -staff were so nice and easily contactable -laundry service is that they will wash and dry your clothes (no ironing options in the room. I used a wrinkle free spray I purchased in Japan) Cons: -can hear other guests stomping around -can hear people on the street so it's not very sound proof -bathroom was very stuffy but we weren't allowed to touch the aircon dials except for temperature -not a lot of hanging space or hooks considering room capacity -there was a leak in the room, possibly from the heavy rain that day -there were stains on the couches Other things to note that the only usable amenities offered are toothbrushes and toothpaste, slippers, shampoo, conditioner and body wash and water bottles. Room comes with a fridge, microwave, kettle, hairdryer
A amazing cozy hotel
amazing hotel. clean and cozy. best to get higher floor to avoid some crowd noise.
This suite was clean and comfortable and was convenient in that it was right off the main area of Myeongdong. You can also message the concierge for anything needed which was convenient!
Loved it!
Staff were very friendly and helpful! We had scheduled a luggage transport company to pick up our bags and deliver them to the airport while we spent our last day exploring the city. The staff went the extra mile and messaged us immediately after our bags were picked up. Made for a stress free and overall pleasant experience l!!
We love our stay at the UH Suite The Myeongdong! We were so thankful and happy to find out at check-in that we had been upgraded to a better room at no charge. Thanks so much to Peter, for making that happen. He was kind and helpful and even gave us a great lunch recommendation. We felt safe and luxurious at the beautiful room we got! We can't recommend them enough. Super well located too, with lots of shopping and dining around, and close to the train station.
Peter was our most helpful desk manager all days of our stay. He gave us great food tips and led us nearby to the best Korean Fried chicken spot Kkanbu—which we had for a midnight snack daily. He was cheerful and friendly each morning we met and I would stay here again just to talk to Peter. The location is very close to the Myeongdong Station and a 7 story Daiso. As it was fairly close to the night market there, the location is not the quietest even though we were near a top floor. Access to the suite was a little sketchy as it seems to be almost a different building with the entrance signage for “Leather Jacket” which was how the kids were spotting the entrance for the elevator to the rooms. The spa room was super spacious with a big bathtub (which we didn’t use) in between two bedrooms. The beds were clean and comfortable. Closet space was a small builtin armoire. The three bed room was a little tight to access the closet. The kitchen had a washer but no dryer. A nice kitchen table was used nightly for the Fried chicken runs. Fridge was clean and large enough to stock several 2-liters of drinks and water bottles. Because we had heavy rainy Summer weather a couple days we didn’t get a great chance to explore too far from our short stay. It did mean we spent more time up and down the market to. The subway being so close was convenient, but we managed to walk all the way up to the Palaces district and back to the hotel. Be sure to catch the Cathedral nearby.
Thank you for the hospitality.
Convenient
Very roomy
Very friendly and helpful staff.
Great location and wonderful staff and suite!
The staff, even before checking into the unit., was quick to respond to my questions. During our stay they were all so cordial and went above and beyond expectations. We stayed for 5 nights, went to other cities and came back. We had left our luggage while traveling to other cities and when we got back, they already set up our room and brought up our luggage. The laundry service was very helpful too because you don’t really want to overpack as there is so much to buy and take home from Korea. I was recommended by a friend to book this place and I’m so glad we did. Our family of 6 throughly enjoyed our stay!
The staff are all amazing. The room was disappointing.
The rooms are dark... Only one bedroom had a window without a view... No windows in any of the others rooms...
We stayed here for 7 nights at UH Suite The Myeondong in Seoul and we found our stay to be exceptional. What truly elevated the experience was the outstanding service provided by manager, Peter. Manager Peter went above and beyond to personally address our preferences. Throughout our stay, he was always able to answer our multiple requests and questions, offer recommendations, and ensure everything was running smoothly. It was evident that Peter wasn't just managing the hotel, he was creating a welcoming atmosphere for all guests. UH Suite The Myeondong itself is a great hotel – clean, modern, and conveniently located. However, it was manager Peter's exceptional service that truly made our stay unforgettable.
We loved the location and the space in the suite. The room seemed that it had been cleaned but there was some wear and tear that made it seem unclean. Scuff marks/stains on the walls and such. The staff came daily to take the trash and give us fresh towels and then they did a room clean halfway through our stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful! Be sure to download WhatsApp because that is their main line of communication, which I thought was very convenient.
Had the most special stay here, perfect central location, very friendly and helpful staff. would definitely recommend 10/10
Great location and comfortable room!
Lovely hotel with great attentive staff. My personal room felt a little small.
The place looks like it came from heaven - so so so pretty. And jacuzzi hot tub with bath bomb is a must try. I would say the jacuzzi was the highlight of my stay. I would've given a 5-star if the hotel room was pristine clean. Not a big deal, but there were some areas I wished it was cleaner, like the carpet on the floor (there were some white tiny cottons(?) on black carpet here and there). And the air - not sure if anything can be done about it, but the air in the hallway, elevator, and sometimes in the room does have some musty smell. I would recommend this place to young individuals looking for an "experience", Instagrammable stay. And the front desk staff was extremely kind and courteous.
Close to everything great Myeoungdong has to offer.... shopping, food, night market, etc
It’s pretty loud until 3-4am, but the area is very convenient and would definitely book there again! The staff is amazing and hotel offers laundry services as well. Lots of food options available!
Noisy and cold, small and no parking
I stayed in the 3 bedroom suite. The suite is not spacious for being a 3 bedroom suite. The living room is quite small. The windows do not have sufficient insulation therefore the coldness from the outside was coming into the room. The heater must be turned on to keep warm from the cold outside. And because of the windows, you can hear so much noise from the outside all night long, I could not sleep. And there is no parking available. I will never return to this property even if I am given a free nights stay.
Room was not clean and looked aged. We did not use the bath as did not seem clean. Was abit disappointed in this stay.
The spa room was very nice and large. However, it’s a sweet and there were no dish towels, paper towels, or a little laundry detergent to take advantage of the room features. It’s a good room for a group of people.
Fantastic hotel
Location is super convenient, really close to the subway and airport limo bus stop. Walk out of the hotel you will see endless skin care stores, restaurants, and night market booths. We stayed in the family suite with 2 separate rooms, 1 and half bathroom, and a small kitchen/dining table. It’s spacious and very comfortable. The only complaint is that no enough hot water to fill the spa bathtub. But we don’t need it anyways. The front desk staff were helpful and friendly. I would stay at this place again next time. Highly recommend it!!!
Family Wood Suite
The staff were great. Timely communication and extremely helpful. Deducted a star as the carpet was not as clean, there were mosquitoes, and no natural light. We were there for 5 days and they only did a full room cleaning once. The next day which doesn’t make sense to me. As other reviewers have mentioned. The drainage is poor and water do overflow in the shower after the first night. I do appreciate the towel and water bottles and towel replenishment. Location is great. Centralized and not far from the train station and bus. Also you have everything in Myeongdong nearby shops, food, etc.
Nice shower, but water is not drain properly, lag of hangers or hook for clothing. If there is a instruction of how to set and turn on hot water heater control panel will be appreciated for not know Korean language will be appreciated.
Convenient and clean, room was also very aesthetic and comfortable.

Great location but room has its drawbacks.
Great location. Staff are helpful. Condition of the room was average. Some chairs were not bolted together well. One toilet did not lock properly. Construction was still occurring in the building. Random tapping sounds at mornings or evenings. The design has a lot you sacrifice; you have a bath in the middle of the living room but you give up a potential sofa to watch tv from and have to instead sit at the edge of the bath area. More style over comfort and function.
