Cute property. A little tired but makes up for it in charm. Very comfortable

More for family

Very cute place. But not really functional for our needs when it comes to bathrooms, showers and amenities. We had a child themed room with no TV. This is cute for like a family or kids.

So many wonderful touches that are too many to mention. Wanted to spend an hour looking at all the life messages

It was not a bad place to stay. It was easy to use the door lock and the layout of the room was nice. There are some small things they could do to improve it, add multiple towel hooks near the shower, add a nightlight in the bathroom, add a USB charging port near the bed in the bedroom. We stayed in the Bird House room. Some bigger things they could do would be to renovate the kitchen area to include a sink. Update the toilet to a higher one and update the bathroom sink and sink fixture.

Hippie Haven

We absolutely loved this place. It was so peaceful and lovely. The owner Renny was sweet! We will definitely be back when we can spend some time enjoying the peace and tranquility! This is a hippie haven!

Sweet retreat

Short, great stay. Lovely vibes and community space. Plenty of room in the Bird House with a double and twin. Door to Zen Den was a little thin, but neighbor was mostly quiet. Wall AC unit was right above twin, so a noise machine is recommended for light sleepers.

Quirky, Comfortable, Safe

Very cool Victorian home. Clean comfortable and friendly, helpful staff. The home has been moderately updated and decorated in a quirky Yogi theme. Walking distance to 5 points, UAB, & VAMC. Enjoyed my stay but be aware this is an old home in where the rooms have been converted to guest rooms. You share living spaces, not your bathroom. You across from a police substation so it’s safe.

This house is amazing! From the moment you pull up, the energy this house gives is amazing. No detail was left out. It is such a warm and inviting space. The rooms are decorated beautifully. Music was playing downstairs. Refreshments upstairs. Plenty of places to cozy up with a book and relax. I chose a couch on the wraparound porch. It was a magical place and if I ever need to stay in Birmingham again… I will chose this place every time!! Thank you for the hospitality!

We had a great one- night stay. It's a fun and funky guest house, exceptionally clean, and has a great location in Five Points. I don't think we'll be staying anywhere else when in Birmingham.

We really enjoyed our weekend at the Treehouse. It is in a great location and is as clean as it is funky. I highly recommend The Treehouse next time you go to Birmingham!

Remmy has an amazing home away from home. I absolutely loved the laid back vibe and good energy of this place. I found it on a while while visiting the area and so glad I did! The attention to detail in the different themed rooms and hospitality was above par! Will definitely be back and highly recommend.

One night stay

Place was very nice and right across from a police station so your car feels safe. Almost right underneath Vulcan statue and walking distance to UAB. Only knock was I thought it was a bed and breakfast and the only breakfast was some grocery store bought bagels and cream cheese and no TV. Any other time this would have been fine but it was draft night.

Funky Historic Stay

I loved the funky and historic vibe of the Tree House! It's certainly not your cookie-cutter hotel room. We needed a place to sleep after a show at a brewery, and this was perfect. We had an easy check-in, simple parking, a very comfortable bed in a spacious room (Water), and great snacks/to-go breakfast options. I'll definitely consider coming back when we return to Bham!

Nice Homey Feel

Room was amazing. Clean room and nice comfotable bed. We came to town for concert at Legacy BJCC and this was conveniently close.

Everything about my trip was wonderful. It was so serene, refreshing and relaxing. A perfect spot and close to so many restaurants and activities. Cant wait to go back again.

This is such a unique place! The whole place is friendly, calming, and welcoming. The shared spaces are bright, laid-back, and comfortable. The private room and bathroom are comfortable, clean, and homey. We’ll definitely be staying here again because it feels like a home away from home!

The hosts were very receptive and available with any questions. Very eclectic place to stay. Advertised as a bed and breakfast, but breakfast option is chia pudding.

Anniversary celebration

We were celebrating our anniversary and got this room last minute. So glad we did. We loved everything about the stay.

Peaceful retreat!

Renny took good care of us and made us feel welcome. The space she has created at that hotel is nothing short of an actual oasis! A respite for the soul. Peace is what we needed...and found at The Tree House...we'll be back!!

Beautiful and relaxing property.

I was lucky to stumble upon this charming oasis in an historic neighborhood. Each uniquely themed room is quiet and private and beyond comfortable, along with serene and inviting communal yoga and meditation spaces and a wonderful front porch. Spotless with welcome snacks and breakfast. I didn't want to leave.

Great stay

It was a great place to stay. A nice change of pace from the hotel life. Parking was a little tricky but not unmanageable.
