Excellent location in midtown. Great value (booked via Expedia package). Room fairly small, no room service available.
Great Stay!!
The stay was awesome!!! My wife and daughter had a great time.... the only thing that was missing is a microwave.... as they went out to eat and bring back left overs no where to heat them up... otherwise it was a great stay. Thank You.
Incredible location, and our bed and pillows were super comfortable, and staff is great. We were in the 3rd floor facing 49th, and the building next door is under construction and they were working until 2am every night with a massive amount of noise. I turned on my white noise app on my phone which helped a lot and we slept well despite it, but if you’re sensitive to noise while sleeping (banging, power tools, etc) beware. With my white noise app on hand I’d stay here again.
The staff was excellent
Such a wonderful stay with amazing guest services
The staff was extremely helpful. Location is convenient to Times Square. Room was small, but that's typical of NYC. Only minus I can think of is that the bathroom needs more or bigger shelf space and hooks. Also, there was no tub, not that it mattered to me. There's an amenity fee of $40, while as far as I can tell, the only "amenity" other than the free bottle of wine is a small exercise room. Lastly, there's a markup of about $100 if you want a room with two beds, which seems excessive, even for Manhattan.
room was great and the stay was comfortable. however, housekeeping walked into my room unannounced at 9 a.m (way before our late check out time) and an hour later, when I walked downstairs to grab my partner and I a bagel, the same woman was sitting outside our room and began asking when we were leaving. We felt very rushed but other than that, the stay was as comfortable as one could ask.
The location is terrific for attending events in the Theatre District. The hotel felt safe and the staff were great. The room was comfortable and the noise is to be expected, given the location. I did not realize their was a facility fee, and that was an unwelcome surprise. I feel like internet access should be included in the room fee, and that guests should have a choice whether to partake of the gym and wine/cheese hour.
Property had convenient location. TVs are weird. They are in a round mirror and the reflection and sound are bad. Bathroom could use some tile scrubbing. But staff was wonderful. Upgraded our room because the other had bad placement of tv and bad view
Perfect location near Times Square. Decent size room for NYC with a comfy bed. The view from my room wasn’t great but I wasn’t expecting one. Nice perk - free wine and cheese each night.
My room was extremely old and dirty. Furniture was worn and torn. I requested cleanliness many times, very very disappointed for what I paid. On my checkout, they even charged me to watch out my bags for a few hours.
Great location, very nice hotel. Perfect for what i needed
Hotel is old and run down. Bathroom is ridiculously small.
Our room smelled like eggs and each room was unkept
Very nice interior and staff
Loved the atmosphere of the hotel. The free wine & cheese each evening was a pleasant surprise. There was no coffee maker in my room or lobby, that I saw, that was the only flaw.
Hotel is great. Staff were excellent and even helped us out by calling the parking garage and sorting it out when they were full. Wine and cheese hour is a great service. Rooms are a good size, very quiet, modern. Only negative I saw was the wait for the elevators, but not much they could really do about it.
Great in all respects and advertised.
Staff was great. I would only recommend that they fix some of the things in the room like a lot of chipped paint.
Everything was wonderful
Convenient location but a little tired. The TV remote worked periodically and the A/C didn't work the last night and day that I was there.
its average nothing special.
Liked the stylish new room
Great Times Square Hotel
Booked last minute after flying in from vacation in Paris, decided to see a show. Very cool hotel with great modern moody decor, customer service was impeccable and hotel conveniently located in theatre district for walking access to all theatres as well as a block off Times Square. Love the room and would highly recommend
Decent location if you want to be near Broadway and Times Square but is very busy in the surrounding area. Staff were friendly. Room was clean but very small. Fixtures and furnishings were worn, for example, headboard was peeling, sink and toilet both had cracks in them.
The room was very clean with bottled water and a minibar, if you want one. No coffee in room. This is right in the heart of Times Square, so area packed and noisy, as to be expected. But the room was quiet. This is a small hotel and I'm not sure what I thought "Hyatt" implied, but this not "Hyattesque" in my estimation.
Some of the areas could be updated a bit to make the room feel more modern. Furniture was a bit worn down and the bathroom had little space and no hooks for hanging towels.
Nice hotel great price.
Good
The Time New York was tucked away in a very busy part of Times Square but we never really heard any street noise. The Time had access to major lines of the subway and walking distance to lots of entertainment. We can’t wait to stay there again!
All accommodations were 5 Star
It was not perfect, but I appreciated the efforts. It was a pretty quiet street, good location.
The property was super unique and a vibe.
It was a great location. Right in the middle of everything. We were offered cheese andcwine upon arriving. In addition, we were given a bottle of wine! Thanks!
I like how convenient the hotel to shopping center, restaurants and to almost everything. I only had a problem with my room coz they did not tell me that the notification button is not working. So everytime I asked for cleaning service no one came until my 4th day stay.
First Trip to New York City
Everyone was so friendly. They made us feel so welcome, very friendly staff, especially Eric. We will certainly be back. Joy Deloney
Greta decor and amazing staff. Needs some updating for wear and tear but overall spectacular time. And who doesn’t love free wine and cheese!
Theatre District Hotel
Good location, theater, District, lots of activity
This was the most prime property to stay since I saw the book of mormon at the eugene oneill theatre right next door! The hotel was nice and pretty quiet, my bathroom had some hair from another guest that had shaved over the sink but other than that I would recommend the hotel!
Perfect accommodations, terrific staff, excellent food!
A good property. Safe and clean. Definitely coming back!
Perfect location, clean and comfortable
The wifi is pretty much non existence. They only let one device to be connected and it barely has signal so it’s useless. The property is old and worn out. They should revamp the hotel. The furniture in the room are worn out, the shower floor doesn’t feel clean. Only good thing about the hotel is the location.
The staff was amazing. Very helpful with recommendations for Broadway shows, ensured that I had everything that I needed at check-in and took the time to explain to me all of the amenities that the hotel offered. I look forward to booking and staying at The Time New York very soon. Thank you!
The location of the hotel is great if you wanna be close to a lot of things. We walked everywhere. The service and people at the hotel were very friendly and helpful, especially the doorman. The rooms are a bit dated and dark. There was daily room service, but not sure how clean things were.
Quiet-ish, Convenient Hotel
Relatively quiet hotel easily accessible to Broadway shows. The room was clean, well-lit, with plenty of mirrors. Elevators did get busy in the morning with people either checking out or getting breakfast. We had a standard room and it was tiny. I would stay here again but get one of their larger rooms.
Perfect place to stay near it all! Walkable for shows, shopping and food! Completely safe. Staff was great.
Good for a first time visit very central.
The staff was super friendly and helpful. The location was great for walking around but not super loud. The rooms were clean and a good size. And they have wine & cheese happy hour.
Great property and staff! Great location to Times Square and theatre district. Only negative is no coffee in room or hotel.
Would like a microwave in room. Staff was pleasant and helpful. Room was very clean
Hot and cramped
Overnight stay. The climate control was broken but we got back so late we decided to not bother with hotel maintenance. The room was uncomfortably warm that night. Besides that the room is very cramped. The restaurant on the bottom floor is not great. Just did not enjoy this place. Location was good for broadway.
Id stay there again. Great location
Amazing stay! The price and location was great. The hotel itself was excellent ( fantastic water pressure as well). But the staff was phenomenal, special shout ot to Josh!
Thank you to the concierge who helped me celebrate my birthday...Wine was great! Thank you very much!
Been a while since i stayed here and was remembered be the gentleman at the front desk. Had a great stay.
Comfy stay at the heart of Times Square/Broadway
Everyone that I interacted with was courteous and helpful. The rooms were clean and well designed. The beds comfy. I enjoyed the wine and cheese at 5pm when I was able to be there at that time. I had a little bit of shower leakage, but nothing to cry about. My only niggle (and I have this same issue with a lot of hotels) is the lack of light. The lighting was very dim and there was no good lighting to do my make up - I think I went out the first day looking like a clown! Please add a light in the bathroom for doing your make up. I enjoyed my stay here and would definitely come back.
5 Stars in My Book!
Great location...nicely decorated...not too large so did not have to wait for elevators...comfortable beds...clean...will definitely stay there again!
Great stay. Very clean and self contained. The room was nicely styled and most importantly noise free from neighbors. Very little sound from outside.
Great place especially if you want to be in the center of Manhattan’s shopping food and entertainment, but hotel is tucked away if you want a little privacy
Great Broadway stay
Came to NYC for sightseeing and a broadway play. Found the hotel for a good price and great location. Very nice staff. Clean room. Good size. Just a little noisy from outside, but figured that’s par for NYC.
The air conditioner was very noisy. Even after switching rooms, the new room was even noisier. In short, it’s a nice hotel, but you can’t sleep at night.
A great hotel and perfect location. Staff was friendly and professional. Super easy check in
Great stay
We loved everything about the property. The staff is AMAZING! The service was exceptional.
The ideal spot for a theater night out.
Great location, appropriate value. West and rear showing on finishes in the room and public spaces. Staff very good.
The property is perfectly located and easily accessible!
Love everything about the hotel and staff...except their contracfed car service. The driver quoted us 1 price at the hotel prior to leaving. Upon arrival to airport the price increased and driver would not backdown. Other than that experience our hotel stay and the location of the hotel was a 10/10! We are planning to return to NYC and will definitely stay there again!
We loved the comfortably of the beds. Breakfast was 10/10! Noise was never a problem. Staff was very respectful and polite. I would definitely recommend this hotel. Perfect area! We drove in using our own vehicle and a parking garage was available across the street of the hotel who where also very kind and helpful as well!
Hidden Gem!
Boutique hotel that is trendy, stylish, central to all of the Broadway/Time Square happenings. Room was small but nicely appointed furnishings/decor. Beautiful bar & lounge area with a great happy hour. Hotel restaurant is Serafina, very popular with good food/service. Hotel staff was friendly and accommodating.
Everyone was so kind and helpful! Great stay!
amazing place
Great stay at thevTime in New York
Traveled with my daughter to see Wicked on Sunday. Arrived early Saturday and was checked in right away. The hotel is modern and comfortable, great concierge services, highly attuned to guests needs. The location couldn't be better with a 3 minute walk to the Tines Square and famous diners. Only a 25 minute walk to the Central Park. If ability to exercise during the stay is important, the hotel provides their guests access to a huge sports gym next door woth a salt water pool! Didn't stay long enough to check it out, but the pictures proved it had everything under you would need to break good sweat. Definitely recommend!
Check in was easy!
Property is close to Times Square/ Theatre District and numerous excellent restaurants. No Valet Parking , but there is a parking garage across the street from the hotel.
It was a nice experience but the heater was faulty but they came to fix it quickly
Location is great, staff was great. The thing I did not like was the shower, it is extremely small. I also did not like the TV built into the mirror and the location of the TV. It always seemed to have a glare on it, it was also to the left of the bed, so trying to lay in bed and watch TV was not really how I would set things up. The TV also said no signal on multiple channels.
Only downside was the bathroom smelt a bit mildewey.
Great location
Nice property. Just off from Times Square so it was convenient but a little more quiet. Our room and bathroom were TINY. But I guess that’s what to expect in nyc? It was just me and my daughter and not hardly enough space for our luggage and clothes. We were stepping over our luggage to get to the bed or bathroom. Restaurant was great. Delicious food and fast service! Overall great stay. Just wish the room was bigger.
Serafina Restaurant & Bar was amazing. Location is perfect. Hotel check-in was amazing, agent very knowledgeable and personable.
Nice place, friendly staff
We loved staying at the hotel definitely coming back again
I have never stayed here before, so wasn’t sure what to expect as I am not completely familiar with all of my locations in the city. Location was absolutely perfect and the hotel exceeded my expectations. Clean, friendly andhelpful staff. Was happy to be able to go to the restaurant attached to grab an early morning coffee while my daughter slept in. I will definitely be staying here again!
very happy
I would like to have a mini fridge that is not full. I have two kids and would have loved to have space to put our extra drinks and milk. The kids had to put their drinks on the air conditioning vent to get cold. No ice option either in the hotel. The bathroom door is a bit sheer. Would have loved to have more privacy with the kids.
Desktop lamp and air conditioner were not working properly (room temperature was 79 Celsius degree and not responding to adjustment).
Very friendly staff. Clean and updated room. Convenient to Times Square
First room we were in had an annoying noise because the wall behind us was the electric room, In the morning after a very poor sleep, we leave our room and the door does not lock (room 415), they moved us to room 915, the carpet between the beds was crunched on part of the floor, the shower handle turned 360, it had no stop to close shower properly, valve needs to be replaced, vanity handles were worn out and peeled. Not what you expect when you pay $500 a night. Location is good.
I was so impressed by the kindness and courtesy shown to my daughter and I from all the staff. From the doorman to the repai man (who was on the elevator with us), to the check jn staff. Whatever they are doing to train their employees i hope they keep it up! The bed was so comfortable and the pillows big and squishy. The towels were luxuirously soft and the thermostat worked well. The elevators and rooms make the most of every nook and crany. I liked it here a lot and will stay again.
It was comfortably
Disappointed
Thermostat wasn’t functioning properly & upon checking out I heard another guest complain about the same issue. Mattress wasn’t comfortable, headboard was worn, water bottles in room were $7 each, blinds didn’t work. I’ve stayed at many hotels in NYC and this one won’t be visited by me again. So disappointed.
Good
I always stay at the time NY, but this weekend wasn’t the best time I had, special with food and stuff and the hotel was dirty, I went to the room is trash on the floor the bathroom was dirty I was disappointed.
Fabulous stay
Our stay was really amazing it was close enough to all the places we wanted to visit. The staff was friendly.
The staff were nice, but our first room had no air conditioning working. We never heard if it was fixed after we got back. It was not fixed. We were sweating getting ready. They did in fact moved our rooms though gave us water so it ended up okay. Just wouldn’t go back.
Fase advertising
Dusty floor furniture old and damaged not air-van inside the restroom the entire hotel was dirty
Theres no heat in the rooms, in a city that is known for its frigid temps.
The room was quite dusty and low quality overall. Also heavily overpriced.
