Nice hotel. The staff are friendly and very helpful. Breakfast buffet is excellent.

Generally the room is clean and neat, beds are soft and not much amenities.

A beautiful modern hotel with a stunning entrance lobby. Service was excellent and the room was well appointed, though a bit cramped. A wash/dry laundry machine inside the room was a nice surprise. Overall great hotel although in a slightly dead area away from the train station.

The property was kept clean the staff were very attentive. Unfortunately we were given incorrect information by the staff about the luggage pick up. This result is having to spend time taking our luggage to the station rather than using the luggage deliivery service. The hotel is about 15 mins away from Nagoya station but there is a bus put on by the hotel which is free

Do yourself a favor and book this hotel! What a gorgeous gem of a property in Japan. I stayed at many other hotels during our trip and this one was beautiful, clean, comfortable, and had the service to match its luxury styling which is the most important part. I managed hotels for years as well as travel often with lots of luxury travel thus honestly I’m hard to impress and this hotel did. The lounge and resturants have such a calming, enjoyable, fine experience. The room and the beds were the most comfortable of the trip, and care was clearly taken by all staff to provide a great service. I was very impressed.

Room was tidy and neat.

Great Garden

Beautiful hotel with great garden

Fraudulent booking was made using my credit card. The hotel was alerted within the hour. No refund given (it was a no cancellation booking). I explained the situation however, they still let the fraudsters check in, stay 2 nights and check out. Apauling. They should have asked for I.D and then turned them away…

Nice hotel

部屋も含め宿泊自体は快適でした。 チェックイン時に部屋前の廊下に若いスタッフと思われる方が複数いたのに挨拶も会釈も無し。無いからどうということもありませんが、ビジネスホテルクラスでも何らかの反応があるものなのに、不思議に思いました。

Good location, very nice hotel,

Our room was clean and quiet even though there are many train tracks in the neighborhood. The beds were comfortable; the toilet and bathroom were in separate rooms which were great. Customer service needs improvement; staff at the hotel lobby and restaurants on the first floor didn't appear too friendly.

Room is a bit small but good soundproofing. Free parking is available for Gold members. Staff service and buffet breakfast were good. We were happy with the stay.

Hotel was located about 15 minutes from the subway station/JR lines in a quiet neighborhood. Property and rooms were on the newer side. Stayed in the residence twin room which had a washing machine/dryer in the room which was very convenient. Hotel had a shuttle to/from the JR station every :30 on the weekends throughout the day. But shuttle on weekdays only available 7:00am - 11:00am. Overall great experience and would stay again.

Professional and helpful staffs. Quiet, but walkable location to Osaka Station. Little disappointment of breakfast varieties were the same during the stay of 4 nights.

Good location and surprisingly quiet. High quality rooms. We ate elsewhere as the restaurants and bar were a lot more expensive than nearby options. Room was well maintained and clean other than long dark hair on the carpet. Staff were excellent.

We only stayed one night but it was a wonderful experience. A luxury emperirnce at a very reasonable price. The were fantastic (even buy japans very high standards.

This hotel had a very trendy lounge on the first floor with a wonderful outdoor view of a cathedral. This hotel must be famous for weddings because of this beautiful cathedral chapel.

Clean hotel.

Hotel located 150gsm walk from Nagoya station, which a bit longer walk if you’re traveling much by commute. Walkable but not exactly convenient. Hotel offers shuttle bus but runs hourly on weekdays and from station back to hotel. Hotel located from 4th floor and above and the elevator auto stops at 4th floor every time which is very annoying

Staff are sensitive to the guest.. very profesional. Great Service and great property and aminities. Food is excellent, will stay again here.

Everything in the room was nice, the bed, toiletries and views from the room. We could see trains passing by, including the Shinkansen but it was not noisy at all. Beautiful chapel within the hotel. Very comfortable stay. Walkable 15-20 mins to Nagoya station where there were many eateries and shopping malls

Very beautiful property. Also a wedding venue, so we did stay while there was a wedding happening. Staff is very helpful with transporting luggage to your next hotel as well if you choose to do so.

We stayed at this hotel previously in 2019 and this was my first choice when returning to Nagoya, the hotel is very clean quiet and comfortable, the staff are very friendly and helpful, the hotel is conveniently located and walkable to the train station, bus terminal and shopping options, there are plenty of good dining options in the area. It was a great stay again and I am sure I will return here on my next visit to Nagoya.

They offer shuttle bus to Nagoya station and runs every 30minutes! Wish we knew this service as we walked from the train station to the hotel. We were able to leave our luggage and was sent to our room. They were very accommodating with our needs, like extra towels and pajamas for the kids. Clean and comfortable room. Will stay here again

Best for travelling with family

The hotel is really nice and clean. Staff went above and beyond to accommodate our requests. It’s a bit of a walk from Nagoya station but hotel provides shuttle service on certain days. We didn’t try restaurants as all of them were fully booked, but there are several of them in this property.

Great, clean and amazing parking!

An amazing hotel with good service, quick check-in & check-out, super clean and with a separated toilet room! But the biggest point for me is that the parking isn't underground or machine-style, it's simply open and you can park anywhere you want without a height restriction! As long as they keep all like that, I will keep staying there on my biz trips to Nagoya! Thanks, The Strings Hotel Nagoya!

Room size is reasonable. Quiet environment. Not much restaurants nearby. Only Familymart and McDonald’s to handle hunger crave at night.

Free shuttles provide!!The best is the view and ambience!!! Enjoy staying there with relax and romantic ambience with the amazing castle view, will planning to have second visit for anniversary.

There is a small hotel check in lobby. It’s like business hotel. This hotel is focused on wedding business and there are not much hotel amenities available. Hotel pics are looks great but actually not. Morning buffet, staff service is nice, food is ok.

Location: The hotel is not far from the Nagoya Station. When you walk along the street to hotel, you can see the life of Japanese. Convenient: There are few convenient shops around the hotel. You can buy anything you need. A big supermarket by Aeon is also not very far from the hotel. Environment: The hotel is close to the tracks of different train lines. But the sound insulation is very great. I could not hear any sound when the train passed by. The room is tidy and comfortable. My room could see the small church inside the hotel. It was brilliant at night.

This was a lovely hotel in a convenient location, only short walk from a railway station. The beds were very comfortable. The skin care amenities were a nice touch and very high quality. The shuttle bus between the hotel and station was very helpful unfortunately runs weekends only, although it is only a 10-15 minute walk with luggage.. I would highly recommend.

Good stay! Family of 5, the 2 double beds were more like large twins, so a bit tight. Not the biggest of rooms but decent and worked well for us for one night. Very impressive entrance to hotel - our kids thought it was the fanciest hotel they had ever been to when we first walked in! Door person directed us to the 4th floor for check in. Staff were helpful and informative. It's a 15 min walk from shinkansen line entrance. Breakfast buffet was good but western breakfast items were a bit limited. Fresh croissants baked in front of you were delicious! Price was decent and good value.

So close to familymart

We were expecting to have a sofa bed because it was in the picture. But We were told that it’s costs extra. We would appreciate if they told me earlier. Their service was very great. I really satisfied our stay in this hotel.

The property was very clean. Smelled really good. room felt comfortable and homey. The main lobby entry at the 1st floor is not the check-in area for the hotel. Check-in is on the 4th floor and rather small. The main lobby is beautiful. But i didnt realize the hotel caters more to wedding events which contributed to the beautiful lobby and ambiance. however it lacked other amenities that some may look for such as a pool, hot tub, and work out room. overall i would definitely stay here again if needed. but just wasnt aware of the lack of other amenities.

Room is small. Location is far from station. Staff were not very friendly and I felt like staying in a 3 star hotel. The amenities like hairdryer is dated. Would not consider to stay there again next time.

Best Hotel if you’re going to ZEPP Nagoya

A bit distant from Nagoya station, but it was walkable. The location of hotel is right next to ZEPP Nagoya, which holds a variety of shows and performances. Thus, if you’d like to be as close as to the event, this’ll be your top choice. The conditions and cleanliness of hotel is exceptional. My room was spacious and comfy.

Hotel is very nice, with very nice decor, room isn't big but acceptable. Can find some nice restaurants nearby, but if you want to go near the station, it takes a 15 mins walk.

The concierge sold to me a box to mail home my souvenirs. We did not eat there because breakfast was $33.00 I did not want to eat that much.

Nice hotel

Travelled as a family and stayed for 2 nights. The hotel is close to Nagoya Station but there is also a free shuttle bus service which is a bonus. Not particularly child friendly as no child goodie bag/amenity kit like some other hotels we stayed in but not a big deal. Nice view of the bullet train from our room. The breakfast is very good so I would recommend getting it unless you have other breakfast plans. My son lost a stone (not precious) but he was disappointed so we emailed the hotel and they managed to find it and kept it for us.
