Everyone very friendly and the room was amazing! Beautiful property right on the beach. (Which perfect for swimming.) Sunset every night!
Beautiful property right on the beach. The staff are all amazing and very helpful. This is a quiet resort that is perfect for relaxing. Location is a bit remote but it is easy to hire a ride to go see the sites.
Wonderful experience with great staff! We arrived 4 hours early after a long flight and they put us in another villa where we could shower and sleep! We had the 2 bed beach front with pool. Fantastic. A little upgrade on the sofa would be nice ;-)
Comfortable family stay
Had a comfy stay in the beachfront, 2bdrm unit. Was great that the kids could have their own bedroom. View out to the beach was beautiful as well as proximity to the restaurant and breakfast. Nice to have our own pool as well.

Beautiful place to relax if you want peace and quiet.
The grounds were beautiful but there was an extremely limited food and drink menu and very few places near by to go.
Very nice and secluded side of the island, comfortable rooms and nice bar and restaurant
Highly recommend this hotel. Great food, clean and friendly staff.
Beautiful grounds and secluded area/beach.
This hotel is located in a beautiful off the beaten track location and not walkable to any attractions. The hotel grounds look beautiful and the landscaping and facilities look great! But don't be fooled: What may look shiny is not! We booked the pool villa but were informed only days before the start of our day that this room type is not available. We were offered a hotel credit for difference the downgrade to the pool access villa. Upon check in and complaining, we were offered a lower rate instead of the hotel credit. The air conditioning in our room never worked appropriately. At first check in it was freezing cold in the room (think Antarctica) and when we tried to adjust it when we went to bed, it gave out at night and the temperature climbed to nearly 30C/85F by the time we came back from breakfast in the morning. We asked the staff to fix the AC which they did, but the same thing happened then next night. At that time, we asked to switch the room. Again, the AC did work and was extremely cold in the new room, but even though we never touched it, it gave out during the night. They fixed it again in the morning and the same thing happened during the last night. - The restaurant is equally bad. We only at there once for dinner and the food was stale and of very low quality. Half of the menu is not available. It's a shame because the grounds are gorgeous and the staff is extremely sweet and bending over backwards to fix issues. Would never stay again!
Loved our stay!
Absolutely beautiful resort! Rooms, beach, and property all beautiful. Quiet and relaxing. All staff so very friendly, kind, and helpful....we especially enjoyed the kitchen, front desk, and driving staff! Food was excellent...location off the beaten path...amazing sunsets!
Great
Incredibly friendly and helpful staff turn this amazing oceanside resort into something special. The restaurant on site is incredibly delicious. It's not a super walkable area but it is walkable. 11/10 recommend!
Quite place , close to cool restaurant
Rooms were clean and airy. Hotel was immaculate. Food was good and lots of choices. The staff friendly and helpful. If you want to go out, you will need to get a taxi for 5 minutes.
Great facilities. Lovely staff. Restaurant very good, nice range of options. Drinks on the beach at sunset- a must. You need a cab to get to other bars , restaurants etc. Very peaceful. Highly recommended.
Koh samui pool villa resort The resort's location is fantastic, as it is situated in a peaceful and quiet area of Koh Samui that allowed me to truly unwind and escape the hustle and bustle of city life. The beautiful beach was just a short walk away, and the stunning views of the sea made for a truly serene experience. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a luxury escape on Koh Samui.
The villa at The Passage Samui Resort was beautifully appointed with modern amenities and luxurious furnishings and the private pool was the perfect place to relax. Every aspect of my stay was carefully thought out and executed to perfection.
Our beachfront pool villa was fantastic. Beautiful, private, romantic. Like having our own private beach. Our gate went straight to the beach. Perfect for morning beach combing before morning cooked breakfast. All the meals were excellent. After a morning of sightseeing, we headed back to our pool for a dip, a cold beer and some hammock time. Beach was wonderful for after dinner moonlight walks as well. Staff were all friendly and responsive, everything was beautiful and well maintained. Our time here was magical. Will definitely stay again.
We absolutely loved our villa on the beach with a private pool. The staff in reception was not very helpful and sometimes we had a hard time understanding each other due to language barrier. House cleaning comes every other day, but they were supposed to bring new towels, coffee, water daily. Some days we didn't get new towels or coffee and had to ask for them. The restaurant was so so and the service was so slow. The location was nice because it was private and secluded, but it made it hard if you wanted to go out to eat, 711 or atm as the taxi's are not cheap.
Lovely property But shops are far away
Away from the hustle, bustle of the busier Samui town centres this is a Haven for those looking for somewhere quiet to stay. Na Thon is only 5 minutes away if you're looking for a bit more action so The Passage is by no means isolated. Despite the devastation of Covid to patronage and considering our family was amongst only two other guests at the facility, the staff bent over backwards to compensate for reduced services. We offer our hearty thanks and great appreciation to all the staff, in particular Pui and Fongbeer x
Wonderful night
Grrat sunset so far.
It was very quiet during our stay. But the room was nice and garden around the place are lovely. Swimming pool is nice and long enough to have a good swim for exercise by the sea. Breakfast by the beach is lovely. Breakfast was good. We got a very beautiful sunset photos on our last day, the best so far for this trip.
Absolutely great service and beautiful grounds. Very clean and comfortable room. We had a great stay!
Nice quiet hotel with great pools
Nice quiet hotel, with a small strip of private beach facing the beautiful sunset. The bar area is only open until 10pm which is not ideal if jet lagged and needing a late tipple before going to bed, however there is a small shop next door. The pools are very clean and plentiful. Breakfast has a large variation of options to suit all dietary requirements.
We had such an amazing time at The Passage for our honeymoon! The staff were outstanding - so friendly, helpful and accomodating. The facilities were great - 3 lovely big pools, one of which we pretty much had to ourselves! The food they serve at the restaurant is amazing! And the beach that the hotel backs onto is gorgeous and has lovely little hammocks for relaxing in. The sea is beautiful and blue. The hotel offers a free bus service to several popular places, and also helps you book day trips to other islands. Couldn't recommend it enough!
What a great place if you want to have a chilled out holiday without the craziness of people hassling you on the beach or the streets. The staff are amazing and go above and beyond expectations. There are three pools and the ocean right in front. The free shuttle bus goes to to main places but will drop you off at a couple of other places on the way through. Breakfast was good - love the omelete's freshly made for you. Will stay again Toni
Likes: extremely nice and accommodating staff, the entire property is well kept and the rooms are awesome. Dislikes: the in-room menu is too limited, some of the staff could not speak English and only one key per room.
Loved our time at The Passage. A lovely private villa and yummy breakfast. A bit far from happening spots but there's a hotel shuttle available and easy in lobby car rental.
Who gave this resort 5 stars? A mere 3 stars, this neglected hotel badly needs a competent management and investment. We stayed there from August 3rd till August 12th and this is what we got: our sink in room 301 only offered cold water, the shower was either boiling or cold, towels had holes, we got for the whole 8 days the same tiny shampoo bottle being refilled every other day and the cleaning ladies do not have new bottles in their carts. Breakfast is basic, there is only instant coffee available in your room during the day, there is no cozy corner or comfortable armchair to relax outside your bedroom when it rains. Chairs everywhere are discolored, scratched and have holes, the plastic windshields at the restaurant are dirty and broken in many places. At the restaurant, they only understand your order if you point what you want on the menu and more than often they bring you the wrong dish or the wrong recipe. The only free shuttle bus into town is at 1.30 or 4pm, the last return bus is at 5pm, that is when you least need it. The resort is 30 minutes away from the nearest town and the taxi from the hotel will cost you 800 to 1,000 baht one way. The same unique CD is played on loop, the beach loungers are in plastic with old mattresses. Service is kind but slow and forgetful. The hotel cleans a stretch of about 100 meters of beach, the rest is littered so walks can only be short on the beach. You can however walk far into the sea. To crown it all, a bunch of stray dogs ar
This hotel was beautiful and on the beach but you could not go in the water because of the rocks and rough surf. Also there is absolutely nothing to do. There are no stores, restaurants or bars anywhere near . There is a shuttle available that goes into town one time a day about an hour each way. If you want to relax and do nothing all day and see nothing this is the place for you.
Discreet venue close enough to high activity areas (free air conditioned transport daily) yet exclusive beachfront with 3 excellent pools, superb breakfasts and Thai/Western food in restaurant looking through palms to sea. Very comfortable accommodation and attentive staff..recommmended for getaway holiday.
Nice hotel but isolated, staff over all are pleasant enough but manager should address the wife as well, not just their partner.Quality of breakfast could be improved as very limited choices.Booked the resort for 7nights but left but after the 4th night did not feel at all comfortable staying there.
Good ..but no soul....
Very nice property..however..not a warm atmosphere..staff have a big language barrier..also pool side music too loud ,and american rap is maybe not suitable for the surrounding of quietness the place inspires..nearby dining options are very limited.. Beach is cleaned at least twice a day..wich is very good..breakfast is good..
Nice place, but has things to improve
Deluxe rooms doesn’t have 5* view and location, so better book garden or pool villa, decent breakfast, but staff at the restaurant not well trained and not very polite. Spa prices too high, quiet place, nothing to do around.
Little dissappointed
The actual resort was really lovely. Very quiet but also very isolated. The resort did have a few shuttle services to Chewang and Nathion. Couldn't fault the staff they all were extremely lovely and efficient always had a smile. We were very disappointed in . It was very rocky couldn't really swim in the sea. Our biggest dissappointment was the breakfast. It was very very average actually below average. We were friendly with a few other guests and they all said the same. They really need to improve the variety of food they have. It was all very basic.
Fantastic location, facilities and staff. It is nicely out of the hustle and bustle of some of the busier areas of Koh Samui so it was perfect for us to relax and get away from it all. Hotel is right on the beach and the pools are brilliant. The food and friendliness of the staff was second to none and I would highly recommend it to anyone.
Peaceful and Quiet Resort with Sunset View
We stayed in The Passage Samui Villa and Resorts for 3 nights before shifting to Manathai Resort with my hubby and my 2 kids. We arrived early in the morning and the two bedroom villa with plunge pool was already available to welcome us. The hotel was lovely and the kids enjoyed the plunge pool. Our villa - room 101 is a highly recommended villa as it is one of the two villas in the resort with two bedroom and plunge pool. Further to that, it is the only villa that fronting the garden and beach with sunset view, and it is just next to the restaurant. We used to sit at our garden to wait for the sunset with ours kids playing in our private pool. Breakfast was great with varieties of spread. The restaurants staffs are friendly. For those who prefers quiet, relaxing place - I will recommend The Passage. Some of the items that need to improve: 1) check in experience was on average mark only as compare to other 5 star check in that provide more personalise treatment. Manathai do provide a water blessing treatment which is better than The Passage. 2) No evening turn down service - I need to call the housekeeping every evening to top up the oil burner to keep the room refresh and to empty the bin.
Nice hotel but very far from city center
The manijar So good Cuz she help me to change my room Cuz have small animals 😅🙃
The Passages
The staff provided excellent, friendly service. Meals at the restaurant, including the buffet breakfast, were excellent as well. Our room was clean, everything worked properly. We had a room with a provate plunge pool - it was heavenly to have a private pool for hanging out in. Other rooms have exclusive use of two infinity pools, and the rest share the main pool near the beach. The only drawback is that it's in a fairly remote area, so the restaurants within walking distance are limited, but there are free shuttles during the day to Nathon and Cheweng. I would definitely recommmend staying here.
Very pleasant experience. Staffs were very helpful. Would visit again.
As beautiful as the pictures.
The view was beautiful. You can use a kayak for free. The location is a bit remote but we rented a car so it wasn't a problem. Breakfast was basic but enough to meet our needs. Biggest problem was when we got to the room it was very hot and took quite a while for the AC to cool us down.
Nice hotel
This is a really nice hotel and well worth a visit. A little out the way but you do have other food options nearby. Not an ideal beach facility but the pools are really good. I would advise a pool entrance villa you will have a pool mainly to your selves! Pricey drinks and that was the only downer. £8.30 for a baccardi and coke! really????? The manager named Just was a really nice man and so very helpful so a big thank you to him
The best service in Thailand so far
Me and my girlfriend stayed here for two nights and were very impressed with this cosy resort. The staff always greet us with a smile and were friendly with us and all the other guests. We stayed in a villa with a small garden and felt in touch with nature listening to the birds each morning. This is a beautifully well kept Resort hotel and we would happily stay again. The hotel is isolated with its own beach so we made use of the excellent free shuttle service to Chaweng beach and shopping centres.
Relaxing, quite get away.
Beautiful, relaxing facilities. The staff was wonderful - professional, polite and friendly. It's a bit far from most of the exciting areas on Koh Samui, but they have a shuttle van that will take you to NaThon Pier or Chaweng beach in the morning and pick you up in the afternoon. Concierge was great for helping plan a last day tour. We definitely recommend a villa with the private plunge pool.
stunning
Carefully designed hotel in very quiet peaceful location. Food excellent and staff extremely helpful and friendly.
Almost perfect
Hotel is at a perfect location, very secluded, great view, nice design and not big in size so, not crowded with many guests around. Nature around is amazing. It is possible to rest calmly and enjoy privacy. Rooms are very clean, renovated and reasonable in size. Almost everything at room are good quality. The sea is not the best in Samui to swim. It is shallow and not crystal clear.
Good place for family vacation
Great.
Great value
Located in a quiet area of Koh Samui, with not too many villas, we were looking for peace and relaxation. Suited to couples and families wanting a get away. I recommend you have your own transport, renting a scooter was ideal. The staff are so friendly, the breakfast delicious, lovely pools, rooms really comfortable, great massages at the in-house spa. The resort is older and a little worn around the edges, but that made it great value as it still has all the facilities.
Wonderful stay, great staff! Away from the busy but close enough to everything. Highly recommend.
Almost everything was amazing except the room which the ac was broken i guess so for 2.nights i couldnt sleep because the noise from ac was unbarable and when switched off.the room got really hot so i slept during the day at the beach. They told me it was full so i had to keep the room. Also we got in before check in so we waited for 2h and even after the time to check in the room i still had to wait 45min for them to Clean it.
Paradise
A beautiful well kept resort amazing staff food and accommodation just beautiful we loved ohr stay here and Will be returning next year
Terrible food...
The food here is absolutely terrible. We received half-cooked pork sausages one meal, bleeding chicken another meal, and a very large piece of plastic in a pancake at breakfast one morning. I could go on about other food items that were terrible too, however I won't waste my time or yours reading this. Find somewhere else to stay.
Very nice hotel. Staff were very friendly and so helpful. Was a bit far out but staff were very helpful to organise taxis ( it was our own fault not noting the distance ). But on leaving found a small what looked like blood stains on the end of the sheets. Apart from that we loved it.
Beatiful hotel ante friendly people
Amazing hotel, beatiful and very comfortable facilities. If you are looking for a quite, beatiful and comfortable place this a great option.
Great place to relax
But be warned it is not 5-star resort /hotel. The hotel is particularly let down by the lack of attention to detail, cleanliness/maintenance and the level of service you would expect at a 5-star hotel. However it's significantly cheaper than other places on the island and the location is great for some proper relaxation.
Great hotel
This is an amazingly beautiful hotel, the service is impeccable, the pools are great and the food is good as well. We had a wonderful upgrade in our room: front-beach villa with private swimming pool, beautiful! It's a great place for families but also for couples. Very peaceful and comfortable.
A lovely quiet hotel away from the hustle
It's a lovely place to stay. Although the rooms are not the most up to date, the location, the view but especially the staff made it perfect for our family holiday. Our second stay here and won't be our last.
Nice property and well kept
The food was certainly NOT 4 star which is something I'd expect from such a property. That was disappointing!
Quite unhappy
Hotel was not clean. There were lizards all over the swimming inside boundary and on the seating area near pool.there was cat going around the dinning area.too many mosquitoes in the room and every place.private pool wasn't clean.and the reply for that wasn't given good by the hotel. When said we are here for our honeymoon they asked for the details of our wedding and not so good reply.
Very quiet a bit far away from the towns
Peaceful Relaxing Far away from the town and major activities rent a car as taxis are more expensive Nice staff Comfortable rooms
Lovely hotel near beach.
Hotel is great, if you are looking to be away from the hustle and bustle of the city parts. If you are wanting to just relax on the beach then this is the hotel for you.
Close to beach, Far away from action, Expensive!
Pros: Quite, isolated, private beach/pool without so many people Cons: *) Far away from action (30m with car), busy parts of island. *) They do provide free service to more public places (chaweng beach)/shopping centers. *) You can not eat street food as hotel is isolated *) Hotel restaurant is expensive on par with Europe/UK restaurants, minimal dinner with soft drink for 2 is ~1000Baht. *) if you want to rent a hotel car, it starts from 450Baht, double it for the return. (For the same fee you can travel across the Bangkok)
Nice place
Romantic place. Easy access to the beach. A bit far from down town. If you looking for a quite place this is the perfect location.
Asian better not go this hotel
I can feel the hotel staff are strongly discriminate the chinese ( asian) vs European! The golden hair customers get coutesy that obviously different. I suggest not to come this hotel if u are asian!? priority of getting into the room! Coutesy and services at restaurant, ...
Beautiful, relaxing and peaceful
On the quieter side of Samui, the beautiful hotel sits on a length of palm-fronted beach (kayaks available) shared with almost no one else. It looks out onto a beautiful vista of other distant islands and coastline. The individual villa rooms are light, spacious, well maintained and equipped (though we were only given one key, despite asking for another) and had everything else we needed. The photos of the pools are a little misleading; 2 of them are only really for the use of the villas that look directly on to them (villa access); occupants of others have to use the main, bigger pool at the end. The hotel has only recently been taken over by Movenpick, and lacks some of the amenities that you might otherwise expect from the hotel chain (no gym or other exercise facilities for example). The breakfasts were good but a sometimes a little disappointing, especially limited provision of fruits so abundant in the local markets, but the beachfront restaurant setting is wonderful and menu and service for meals at other times of the day very good. The Spa was wonderful, and the staff very well trained; the difference in quality between the service given by them and the plethora of beach and high street offerings was clear. In fact, the staff on the whole were wonderful; charming, friendly, welcoming and accommodating. We liked it a lot, although our children would have appreciated more facilities and were in danger of getting bored. Excellent wifi everywhere though!
Quiet and Relaxing
The staff and the resort were great. If you want a hotel that is away from Cheweng ( 30 mins) and looking for something quiet then this is the place. The resort and the rooms are kept in immaculate condition and the staff are only to happy to help. We ate at 3 local restaurants on the beachs nearby PJs and Beryl's and Relax all had good meals and views and authentic Thai cuisine.
Nice, beautiful hotel
We stayed in one of the garden view rooms. I found it very off-putting that there wasn't a door between the bathroom and dressing room. The wi-fi signal was poor and we complained about it but the hotel staff never got back to us. Ordered room service once and they didn't remove the dishes for 24 hours, even though we asked them to and housekeeping cleaned our room in the meantime. Hotel's a bit far away so no restaurants nearby and the food menu in the hotel is very limited but tasty. Awesome, long pool, which I loved. Wonderful beach. A perfect place to curl up with a book and a cool drink and to gather sea shells.
Does Not Live Up To Expectations
This hotel does not deserve a 4.2 star rating It is filthy and run down The cleaners don't even have hoovers They ran out of wine by the glass, penny pasta, eggs for breakfast, adaptors, chocolate ice cream, pizza! No kids menue! We had a pool side villa confirmed but were moved to pool villa which was considered an upgrade but not when you have a 22 month old who can't swim. We were told only pool side villas cold use loungers by the pool! Toilets didn't flush properly and repeated requests to have the sofa bed made up were ignored! You do not want to stay here, yes it's good value for a family but not at the expense of cleanliness and basis requirements. DO NOT STAY HERE. As a Marketing professional, this hotel needs to be striped of the Mövenpick name as it doesn't even come close to meeting brand expectations.
Just perfect!
Could not have asked for a nicer place with better staff. I have never felt so relaxed at a resort. This was the cleanest place I have ever seen in Thailand with the perfect beach and restraint.
Nice resort on the beach.
We stayed November 12th for 10 nights. staff were very friendly and helpful. They were very apologetic to the renovations that was taking place. Franco , barman very chatty and friendly. Close to beach. Couple of shops within a 10mins walk. Need a scooter to venture out. Otherwise, on the beach, couple of other dining places on beach, massage on beach. Resort menu is fair. Buffet breakfast.
Few restful days
We arrived, got the room, went to the pool, and layed there, or on the beach, for four days. It was just what we needed, and was perfect.
Awesome hotel right on the beach.
I went to The Pasage in August 2014 for a family wedding. The wedding was organised by the Hotel and they did a fantastic job. The hotel is in a quiet area but there is a free bus from the hotel every day that takes you to Nathon or to the tourist area of Chaweng. Trips can be booked at reception at reasonable prices too. The Hotel is clean and the staff can't do enough for you. The spa on site is a must. Best massage I have ever had.
Beautiful views - right on the beach
This place was beautiful...the only negative about this place was the service. Staff were friendly but there just wasnt enough staff. The private pool was great - but just a little too cold.
Unremarkable
My wife and I stayed here for one night after landing in Samui before going elsewhere in the island for a few nights - when we checked in, we found the staff on front desk a little bit distracted and didn't go out of their way to make us feel welcome (unlike everywhere else in Thailand). The facilities and look of the resort was quite nice and benefits from its nice surroundings, but the rooms were pretty average and a little bit worn. The whole place was a little bit rough around the edges, and although quite nice again I would say unremarkable. The swimming pool and lobby were probably the best part about the place, and the breakfast was also quite nice, but the beach was a little bit messy and the staff seemed happy to let some of the stray dogs wander around the resort which was a little annoying (the dogs weren't dirty or anything, but a little troublesome when you were eating). Overall I wouldn't recommend this place necessarily, although it was a decent spot if you get it for the right price.
fantastic place
amazing hotel. location very centre to main pier, staff are wonderful but food was average at this place.
Must stay again
Overall, the hotel is a great, affordable luxury resort. Chan and Roger at the bar were great! The happy hour is affordable and fun and the breakfast is great! We rented motorbikes from the hotel and cruised the island!
AWESOME STAY!
We brought a scoop on and stayed at the passage resort for 5 nights. Yes it's away from the night life and it can get costly in taxis after awhile but its worth it but you can rent a bike to get around! The resort is off the road so its very peaceful and its huge. The pool goes forever and overlooks the Thailand gulf which makes a fantastic back drop for a cocktail or 3.
Good find
Great white dog ... Please take care of him Reception staff should be friendlier A bit out of the main stream nice beach and pool
Quiet, peaceful & relaxing
Friendly hotel staff and beautifully presented bungalows. The hotel was close to Nathon and easy access by tuk-tuk. It's location on the quieter side of the island was perfect, but everything in Samui is not far away- I would recommend this hotel.
A little Gem
The Passage Samui is one of the best hotels we have stayed in. Staff are very friendly and helpful, giving lots of advice on things to do in the area. This hotel is child friendly but I wouldn't recommend for families, possibly because it too nice to have young kids running around. Food is good, could do with a little more selection. The size of the hotel keeps everything very personal. We stayed in a beachfront villa. Certainly the best choice, couldn't ask for anything else in the room. We had our own pool which was shaded from the baking hot sun, and we took a couple of steps from our room and we were on the beach. If you're looking for a face pace hotel resort this is not the choice to make. The Passage offers a relaxing peaceful piece of paradise for your vacation. Can't wait to go back
Great Getaway
Overall, the hotel is a great, affordable getaway! The rooms were new, clean and comfortable and the bathrooms were exceptional. The staff was very friendly and helpful (although the costs to and from the airport or Chaweng was excessive). The location of The Passage wasn't the best. It is well removed from the rest of the island's activities which makes doing things away from the resort difficult. If you would like to take advantage of the Chaweng or other tours to the surrounding islands, I would consider staying closer to the airport.
Great hotel for Couples or Family.
Stayed in hotel for 3 days and was greeted very pleasantly by the staff upon arrival. A short wait to check in, about 5 minutes, but allows for ample time to take in the open air reception area with view of pools and ocean. Stayed at a pool side villa and you have your own reserved lounge chairs, a nice touch. Cleaning service was prompt, breakfast was good and ample. Bar service also very good and very affordable for a hotel (beer was about $2.00 USD). Ocean is breathtaking here, and empty, not crowded at all. Staff is courteous, english speeking and very accomodating. Hotel was about 30% occupied, pool was most of the time empty, I felt like I had the complex to myself, definately private. So if you want a quiet place to stay, empty beach (and it is swimmable / walkable ), this is your pick. Single guy, not so much. This hotel only downfall is that it really is on the empty side of the island, you can (and I recommend) renting the minibike from the hotel, about $8.00 USD a day, and go where you want to, took a ride into Lamai, but it takes about a hour on minibike. There really isn't any small familymart or 7/11 within walking distance. The other hotels on the beach offer lunch and dinner as an option to break up the trip, but food at the hotel is good, ample and affordable. Overall cannot hesitate to recommend, a small slice of heaven.
Perfect for a peaceful honeymoon
Wonderful, peaceful and beautiful place to stay for a break away from it all. Quiet and restful, staff very polite and friendly. Only downsides were the prices in the restaurant (but room service food was more of an acceptable price) and the poor wifi in-room.
beautiful resort
Beautiful property, the staff is very friendly and professional, we were upgraded to a gorgeous villa by the beach.
Excellent resort for families with small children
We absolutely loved the hotel. The staff were exceptionally friendly and the food was excellent. They paid such attention to detail. We had a Valentine's dinner there, very romantic and again the attention to detail was superb. We spent a glorious week there with our 2 small children who loved having 3 different pools to choose from. We stayed in a 2 bedroom chalet which was just 1 chalet from the beach. fantastic and safe if you dont want your young children wandering into the sea by themselves. the chalet was owever still very private but very close to everything. The beach is is lovely, bit rocky for small children, but the sea is incredibly shallow and perfect for younger children. The location is great for peace and quiet. The spa is fantastic too and was money well spent treating a tired mom. Loved the resort. Thanks to the great staff especially Kay and Slavo. Hope to see you again soon.
Wish I had stayed here longer.
If you do any excursion while you stay here, go snorkeling at Koh Tao. This was my favorite location in Thailand. My only complaint is with the restraunt. I thought it was overpriced for average food. I only sampled the Thai dinner as I didn't travel all the way to Thailand to eat steak. There is much better thai dinner food at half the price down the beach. Our favorite was a place I think was called GGs. You ate in your own private little hut by candle light. I would caution eating the dinner type breakfast items. My second buffet breakfast at the passage included Pad Thai and was the only meal in all of Thailand that made me ill, and it was instant illness. I stuck with safer breakfast foods after that and had no issues the rest of the stay. We rented a scooter from the hotel for a very reasonable price and toured the South end of the Island. Caution about wading in the ocean, there are sea urchins out in front of this place.
Great hotel resort for a family pool beach holiday
The staff in this resort are excellent. The taxi staffers were superb in responding to flight delays.the resort is very good value for families looking for a relaxing pool / beach holiday
Hmmm... A bit of a let down...
To get straight to the point, it was a nightmare to find this place as the address was wrong, there was a slight language barrier with the locals but even with a print out of the hotels address, it still took ages to find and when we found it, it was miles from anything (shops, food, nightspots etc) anyway, we got there for 2pm check in and our room hadn't been cleaned from the last people so we were asked to wait in the reception foyer for an hour... thats ok.... after we got in the room, we needed to get onto the internet to confirm and plan the next leg of our journey, but the wifi didn't work, so i asked at reception and they told me that it wasn't working that day and sorry... not very helpful when i needed it... whatever. So it was off to the spa to get some relaxation in, but they didn't have enough staff to do my partner and I at the same time. soo we left it. So if I cant get a massage I thought I'd stretch my stomach in the restaurant, I ordered 3 items from the menu and my girlfriend ordered one, they came out after a short wait which was fine as we just took in the views and sipped our drinks, but when they came out two of the dishes were stone cold, one was luke warm and the other was hot, this was the straw that broke the camels back, by now we had both had enough and decided that enough was enough, so we went to reception with our complaints and after much persistance and frustration we agreed with the management to part ways without charge.
nice resort with super good staff
it is really a very nice resort for recharge. the pool are so great. the front desk staff is very helpful. the room is so spacious with high privacy. the restaurant facing to the sea is so beautiful.
Hotel of appropriate size
We stayed ocean view pool villa for 2 nights. It was quite reasonable, the room was so nice, wide space, clean and accessable to the web easy. The hotel is appropriate size, so convenience to move around. The hote was located 40 minitus -drive from the Samui airport.
very comfortable hotel. I'll visit again next year, too.
