Trendy vintage design, rooms were spacious and clean.

Absolutely loved this hotel. My room was huge by HK standards and gave me plenty of space to spread out. The room is recently renovated in excellent design and well maintained by the cleaning staff. All staff are friendly but not intrusive. Highly recommend to everyone. I was also lucky enough to watch fireworks on the harbour from my window but can’t guarantee that for others.

The hotel on the overall is very well thought of. On the room card holder, there’s a mini map to show the nearby MTR station. They provided a brochure to introduce highlights of Hong Kong. The room is very spacious and new. The room design is very beautiful. Definitely will stay again!

Never disappoints at Christmas

Always excellent this is our fifth year of coming to The Fleming in the run-up to Christmas and it never disappoints. Far and away the best boutique hotel in Hong Kong the design touches and elegance of the hotel as a whole are most welcome at the end of a tough year and the whole place feels more Christmassy than almost anywhere else in the 852.

Overall it was great. Convenient location. The bed and the pillows are the best among all hotels I had stayed as I like hard ones.

I would definitely stay at The Fleming again next time I'm in Hong Kong. The location is convenient, the staff were friendly, the rooms were a decent size for Hong Kong and clean and the shower was fab! I really enjoyed the aesthetics and the bed was super comfy. I wasn't a huge fan of the options they had for breakfast but it wasn't terrible, perfect for something quick. Overall I would recommend The Fleming Hotel if you want something that isn't one of those big chain hotels but still want the quality and attention to detail.

Gem in the city

The Fleming is a pleasant boutique hotel. The attention to design and the little details make this hotel stand out. Granted, the hotel is just slightly worn but I think that it adds to the charm(perhaps the roller blinds need to be refreshed). The location is good too, slightly away from the maddening crowd but a stone's throw away from the Wanchai MTR station.

From the arrival and to the departure, the service personnel have been super efficient and obliging. Rooms are spacious for HK standard. Comfy room and well located near MTR.

LOVED the room, decor, bed, bathroom… no notes!!

This is a gem in Wanchai. In the middle of hustle and bustle of the area, this is a reasonably priced hotel. The decor is very tasteful, vintage and hip. There are many options for breakfast nearby such as Pacific Coffee, Starbucks, Pret A Manger, Mark and Spencer and local supermarket nearby. Two train stations are walkable within 5 minutes, Convention Center just across the street. Most importantly, the staffs are very friendly and providing extremely good service, attentive and polite which is rare in Hong Kong. Definitely will visit again in the future.

Small but neat and clean.

All staff at Fleming are very helpful. This boutique hotel has style and some clever space design for the rooms . It’s only a block away from Wan Chai MTR station which is super convenient. The only drawback is no view (it’s not quite considered city view because the windows are facing directly and very close to the opposite building. )

Favorite Hong Kong Hotel

Always love staying at the Fleming! Amazing vibe, great staff, and centrally located in Hong Kong. Lots of bars and restaurants near by that are walkable. 10/10 would recommend! I’ve stayed at a few other boutique hotels in the area but always return to the Fleming.

Returned to The Fleming for a second stay and I must say that the hotel maintained its quality of service, and the quality of its room. It is still my best option for business travel due to its proximity to the offices in the area, to the MTR.

Awesome Italian at The Fleming

The food at the little Italian restaurant was amazing! Fresh seafood and good bread. Breakfast was awesome. I did not get a chance to do breakfast one morning due to an early conference, the lovely ladies at the restaurant packed me freshly squeezed orange juice and fruit to take away. Made my day!

Staff were really friendly. I loved the uniqueness of the hotel and the room. The hotel is also conveniently located and is walkable to alot of great food.

1. We had the largest room - it was quite comfortable and spacious for our party of two 2. Excellent staff. 3. Hotel is near many restaurants and public transportation. 4. Breakfast was good, fresh and tasty but the menu was the same for 4days.

I didn’t like the location …the view was all apartment air condicioners and laundry hanging from balconies and its right in front of fwy off ramp … but it was clean stuff we’re friendly and helpful

Our stay at The Fleming was fantastic. We got upgraded to the XL room to celebrate our wedding anniversary, also found a hand-written card from the staffs. The room was spacious and very clean. Pillows were comfortable. The shower pressure was perfect. The staffs at the counter were friendly and fluent in English. Check in and out were less,than 5 mins each time. Will definitely return to Fleming if we were to visit Hong Kong again.

Poor reception staff support

The Fleming is one of the most comfortable stay located in Wan Chai. Everything from the decor, the staff attentiveness and the room was on point! Thank you for the free upgrade and the birthday cake! Definitely went over and beyond with the note too :) Would definitely return!

The room is spacious and well furnished with attention to details. The staff service is commendable, always obliging and courteous. The location is good, within walking distance to various public transport modes. Dining options are a-plenty in the neighbourhood.

An exceptional boutique hotel. I am so happy I found this little gem and made it my home for 4 nights. Loved the chic interior and modern comforts. Great stay. Exceeded my expectations.

Landed in Hong Kong at 5AM and arrived at the Fleming Hotel at 8am. Only 8 Min walk from Wan Chai station. Tired, exhausted and lacking sleep i went to check in, expected to be asked to come back closer to 3PM check out time. Was pleasantly surprised to be able to check in and freshen up without asking and a room upgrade to a big room!! The service and room and the building was impeccable and exceeded my expectations!! The hotel underwent a renovation and has a Star Ferry theme from what i was told. A BIG SINCERE THANK YOU TO Mulder and the rest of the front desk staff that i interacted during my stay. It was a great start to my fantastic holiday. Thanks again.

Overall ok

Overall it was ok. The staff was really nice and the room was very clean. However we are at 6th floor and the hotel is right next to a busy road. it’s pretty noisy throughout the night. The king bed is a little small.

I think the room I small. And I have to paid price for the half day in order to check out at 8pm. And they locked my room Two times. Last the was just 10 mins to 8pm. I couldn’t get in to pick up the luggage after dinner. They have no facilities. How can it be a 4 stars hotel?

Nice staycation

Makes a nice staycation place with restaurant and bespoke products to buy. However, the staff seemed unsure about their own hotel benefits if you are a Hotels.com Gold member - may have to remind them. Unfortunately they also do not provide the food delivery to your own room - have to go down to lobby to get your own food delivery which is a hassle.. But 4/5 stay.

The room is spacious with spacious working area. However, there is no electric socket in the toilet and I have to dry my hair at the working table. (Then my boyfriend can’t work)

The location is very convenient but of course you could hear a bit noise from traffic. Overall is good.

Perfect for Christmas

Once again The Fleming provided a perfect stay for Christmas. The location is great for Central, Causeway Bay and, of course, Wan Chai but even in the middle of nowhere this would be a stellar hotel. The design details are superb and very well thought through capturing the elegance of the old Star Ferry with touches of whimsy that never fail to make us smile. Huge showers, comfortable beds and brilliant service. It’s the only Christmas hotel stay worth taking in HK.

Wrong sockets, noisy, fancy but disappointed

Great uniqueness to the room (and good size), it give you a sense of living in luxury no doubt... But once you're through that and into the finer details, you'll be left with nothing but disappointment... 1. No socket near bed, I mean it has 2 USB type A connector, but we're in 2021, my cables are type C to C now... 2. Found a socket by the door and above the fridge, but they don't work (rm 1203), finally found one way under the table, a rather difficult reach 3. Complimentary bag of vinegar chip and tonic water... A little specific don't you think... As it turns out, both are not my fav... Would a regular bottle of water or a regular bag of chip be so difficult? 4. While in the room you definitely feel a sense of serenity, that is until you hear you neighbor entering in and out from their room, about 10 time late at night and staff working making noises non stop in the hallway in the morning... The door was thin and extremely noise transparent 5. Horrible view, across the street buildings are maybe 15 meters away, had to keep curtain down, very disappointed given the price paid Overall, a unique experience but I won't stay there again given the cost I paid

The room is too dark and feel not comfortable. The bedsheet is dirty, hair found under the pillow. The air quality is terrible and dusty.

Amazing hospitality and arrangement for our birthday celebration! Kudos to the service team!

Service and ambience of the room are great. However, being a VIP Access hotel, the members benefits were minimal. No upgrade/late check-out.

The design theme was interesting based on HK’s star ferry. Great for maritime fans. My room faces the building right across from the hotel. So there is no view and basically had to shut the curtains the whole time for privacy.

Such a lovely staycation for peace and inspiration. I stayed here to write away from the constant noise of the city, and was absolutely thrilled by the tranquility of the room. I’m pretty sure the rooms are soundproof because I heard nothing of my neighbors minus a few thumps from above. The speakers in the room for playing music are amazing, the decor is gorgeous, the bed is a dream and the staff are lovely. I could not get enough of the aromatherapy-based products, either. They really added the perfect touch of relaxation. My only qualm would be, perhaps, the WiFi was a bit unsteady at times for the Apple TV during “peak” watching time at night. Other than that, it was a delight staying at The Fleming and I can see myself returning very soon!
