Modern, clean and quiet hostel. We had a private room and bathroom and it was wonderful. The complimentary breakfast was very nice & the free drinking water is so convenient!
The common areas and bathrooms were very clean, and there was a locker right next to the bed where you could use a lock. While it wasn't in a super central area, it was very quiet and walking distance to a lot of stuff which was convenient. The front desk staff were also very friendly and kind. I would definitely recommend staying here if you are okay with a hostel.
The Common Hostel was excellent. Staff was super friendly. The common areas is great for meeting fellow travelers. The breakfast is basic but gets the job done. I booked the private room and it’s small but has all you need. Only thing is there’s no step to separate the shower from rest of the bathroom so water gets over easily. But overall it was a pleasant stay and would definitely come back. It’s on the quieter side of the old city so it’s a bit of a walk/ride to the markets and bars but overall a good time
Always a great experience here. Friendly staff, great location and clean, comfortable rooms.
Staff super helpful. Room clean and super close to Sunday night market.
Okay for the price
The location was good and staff were very nice/helpful. The morning breakfast was so so, mosquitos were a bit bothersome and the bed in private room was not very comfortable but for the price, you can't complain to much. If you are on a budget, i would recomend it.
It has everything you need.... friendly service, free water, common fridge, dining area, great food everywhere, close to airport and it’s very very clean! Love this place.
MUST STAY HERE!
The owners and staff make you feel at ease and can help answer any questions. After staying here you'll compare all Hostels to this. SUPER CLEAN and even in dorm space you feel privacy because of the curtains on each bunk. Great breakfast and coffee/tea. AMAZING STAY - THANK YOU!!!! :)
A popular hostel
The environment is good, but the location is not good as expected. Overall, I would recommend to you.
Clean .Staff friendly. Smile.
The place is very clean and they do a great job making sure everyone is quiet and respectful inside the dorms. Definitely the best dorm experience I’ve had.
The staff were so friendly and helpful- giving lots of advice of good places to visit. Free water saved us lots of money & location was great. Breakfast had a small selection but bread and fruit was very good! Only thing that let it down a little bit was our room wasn’t cleaned in the 6 days we were there, meaning towels etc were quite grotty by the end! It also meant that we had to ask for toilet paper when we ran out which felt a bit weird. Staff are a credit to the hostel & made our stay a success- thank you!
Great hostel...
This was my first hostel stay of my trip to Thailand and I wasn’t disappointed. Lovely hostel with a chilled vibe in a great location. Stayed in a female dorm, which had nice comfy beds with a curtain for privacy and a card operated power socket, light switch, etc. You also have your own cupboard where you can store your backpack or personal belongings! The bathroom area was great with good showers and always clean & tidy. The hostel also provided a free breakfast, tea, coffee & drinking water which was lovely. Only stayed here 2-nights but wish I had stayed longer as so much to do in Chiang Mai would definitely stay here again :-)
The is the best hostel in Chiang mai. I stayed both at the dorm room and private room. However I like their dorm rooms better.
The AC in the rooms worked really well, although at night when you close the curtain to your bed it blocks a bit of the cool air. The bathrooms were very clean and it was nice to have separate gendered spaces. Free water bottles was really nice and breakfast was delicious! I definitely recommend staying here!
One of the best hotels I have stayed in Chiang Mai. Highly recommended. I will return on my next trip. Everything was excellent. The hostel was clean, front reception area was welcoming and spacious, staff were very courteous, helpful, professional (I really appreciate their service and assistance), the breakfast was delicious and convenient, the dorms were quiet, the bunk beds were clean and had a great deal of privacy, the showers and restrooms were easy to use with lots of hooks and bars to hang your clothes and shower stuff. I really appreciate the free water, coffee, and tea!! Thank you very much! I am so glad I found your hostel!
Nice hostel near to Wat Phra Singh & Sunday Night Market. The bed is great.
Super funky we stayed in a private room, it was clean and comfy bed. The facilities were above and beyond the only think I’d suggest is have towels people can hire to use to swim with elephants at a sanctuary.
Very relaxed hostel. Clean, comfy, good vibe
Was an awesome place to stay, couldn’t ask much more of a hostel. Staff was so friendly and accomodating. They seem to care about their job and the people staying there. So we’ll kept and nice vibe. Not much of a party hostel. Much more on the laid back quiet side compared to some others.
Hostel
Loved this place! Excellent location, wonderful and friendly staff, I couldn't have chosen a better idea place.
Enjoyed my stay :) especially the staff! They really helped you out whenever you had a question esp regarding transportation!
3 night stay
Great location and vibe! Just a little inconvenient because not all floors had bathrooms
Great location. Very clean and comfortable.
Fabulous
we had a good time staying there and the staffs were very friendly and welcoming 😁😁😁
Their slogan says it all!
"Better than a hostel, cheaper than a hotel" sums up this place perfectly. The dorm room was clean and comfortable, bathrooms were clean and never smelled, and the breakfast included was simple yet tasty and filling! Staff were friendly and always willing to help. I would definitely come back here!
Clean and nice fercilities.
It’s the best place for a traveller who seeks a clean and neat hostel. Also I would like to recomment breakfast which included in a package. They serve different menu day by day. Staff are also very friendly so it’s worth check out!
Slightly above average
Let's start with the good. Hostel staffs were great. Design is simple yet classy. Appreciate the unlimited drinking water supply. The bad. The unlimited drinking water supply also means unlimited supply of plastic bottles, which equals to unnecessary wastage. The wooden floor creates too much noise each time someone walks on it, which means I kept hearing wooden floor creaking the entire day. A disturbance of peace to say the least. That said, I would still recommend this place. I just wished some extra thought have gone into this during construction.
Great stay, would be perfect with a few tweaks
Great hostel to stay in. Breakfast and free water, tea and coffee was a nice touch. Bed in dorm rooms were comfortable and curtain gave privacy. Dorms would benefit from more designated storage space for people's big bags as the area at the end of the room became quite cluttered with bags and detracted from the overall look and feel of the place. Management should also give people staying in double beds in dorms two key cards. Currently they only give one per bed which is inconvenient for people sharing. The key card is needed to get in and out of room when you go to the toilet or shower meaning that people staying in doubles were constantly leaving the dorm door unlocked so that they could get in and out freely which is a security concern.
Best hostel I stayed in.
This was my second Hostel of my trip and it was the most comfortable out of all of them. I stayed in the female dorm, in a bottom bunk. I was a solo traveler. The bed was very comfortable and very private, it was almost like you had your own room when you crawled in and shut the curtain. There was a huge area within the bunk to lock your items. The bed was clean and comfortable. The dorm was very quiet and most people kept their curtains closed so it was even private when you were out of your bunk. The bathroom area was very large and there were several showers and toilet stalls. The showers were large and had a dry space to change clothes. They provided shampoo and soap. The bathroom was always clean. The staff was awesome and very friendly, it was a younger staff and they always seamed very happy. They provide a free breakfast every morning, usually bread, boiled eggs, fruit and jams. It was all very good. Coffee and tea is free all day long. Wifi worked great. Outdoor area is spacious and beautiful. Security was good, key card entry into each dorm. DO NOT loose your key as I did, 100 baht to replace. Super Rich money exchange was within walking distance, best rates in Thailand. If I am ever in Chiang Mai again, this will be where I stay, no question.
Very nice hostel
Overall excellent hostel. Provide all that travelers or backpackers need: clean rooms, 24/7 available & smiling front desk, free water. Good location, though very quiet area in the evening. Building and rooms recently renovated so very fresh and clean. Breakfast is very basic. Overall excellent value for money, will recommend it.
Perfect place to stay
Excellent facilities, good staff and delicious breakfast. Definitely will come back next time.
Great location. Hostel is clean and modern. Private room with private bathroom were a good size.
The hotel is a walk from the wharf but one enjoys the scenery along the way. The hotel has been updated with modern comforts. George is does a wonderful job making sure his guests are welcomed and comfortable. Buses and cabs make this location on the east side of Lantau Island a quiet and convenient location.
The best hostel in Chiang Mai!
The best hostel I have stayed in Chiang Mai. Very clean, super friendly and helpful staff, breakfast included, good location. Complimentary coffee and fruit 7x24! I love it here so much, would definitely come back.
First time hostel stayer!
Loves this place. It makes you feel right at home and is very accommodating. Close to a lot in Chiang Mai, convenient location. The breakfast in the morning was the absolute best.
Best Hostel!!
This place is awesome for budget travelers! They do a really great job at up-keep and the food is fantastic for breakfast. As sad as it sounds, the free water bottles 24/7 was so nice to have. The most hydrated I've been all 6 months of my travels. The only thing that they need to somehow fix is the mosquitos in the common areas, but that is expected given we are in Asia!
Highly recommended hostel in the heart of the city
Fantastic hostel for the money, nothing comes close to it in terms of comfort, privacy and overall cleanliness. Would certainly recommend to anyone looking for an affordable place to stay
Not just another bed.
Everythng was great about the hostel: breakfast was very fresh and abundant. Rooms were kept clean daily and the bathrooms were upkept. Beds felt private with curtains and you could get a queen sized hostel bed too! All day espresson maker coffee and good service just made this hostel have a hotel feel to it!
Amazing value for your money
Every single thing i could need, they had. Not only that but the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. My best hostel experience in thailand with an incredible price! Location is quite good, 5-10 minutes walk to where most the places to eat are.
Hostel was nice, very comfortable bed with curtain, well-designed space. Only thing is the bathroom is a flight down, and not super sociable common area.
Nice place would recommend
Nice place with good breakfast. Everyone was very nice and welcoming. Good vibe. A little bit of a walk to good shopping or night bazaar but short Tuk Tuk ride.
Amazing
Stayed here for a couple of nights whilst in chiang mai, very clean, tidy and comfortable with helpful staff. Added bonus was the breakfast and unlimited water :)
Would stay again
Loved the staying in this place, really helpful staff and great location.
Beautiful hostel with amazing staff!
I stayed here for 24 days so I got to know the place well. It is fantastic! Very clean, comfortable, and most importantly staffed by a wonderful group of young people who love to help out fellow travelers! I don't normally stay in hostels, but I was in a private room and it felt like a four star hotel. Breakfast is delicious local food, there is good coffee all day, and unlimited free water (unexpected even at a nice hotel here). They even are storing my luggage for me for free while I am traveling for a week! The location is great and fairly quiet, inside the moat near the north gate, close to lots of beautiful temples as well as the Sunday walking street. Thank you so much Hostel by BED! I will definitely be back next time I come to Chiang Mai.
Comfortable bed, near Chang Phuak Gate
The hostel is newly opened in Dec 2016. Clean bed and convenience location. Easy to find. Breakfast is very nice with some Thai style food. However, free bottle of water is not environmental. One bad thing was that I booked a female dorm in Cheaptickets but finally ended up in a mixed dorm. Please check your system Cheaptickets!!! Frustrated. ><
Great hostel
Great hostel in a really good location for the temples and restaurants. Free water available at the hostel also. Quick and easy check in and a comfortable bed. Bathrooms are always clean and had a very nice shower. The reception team are willing to help with any trips or airport transfers. Only fault was that the hostel was very noisy, you can hear everyone walking down the corridors and the beeping on the doors everytime someone opened it can drive you mad at 1am.
Overall great stay and worth the price.
Great stay! The beds were comfy and with curtains, nice privacy for the bunk. Cleaning staff was a bit loud while clearing out a couple bunks at 8am, while guests were still sleeping so that was a bit annoying. Also took over 30 minutes just to check in and put my stuff down (problems with the room key, then the cabinet key. In the end they had to change my room). But the staff is really friendly and helpful. Awesome that they offer free water, good coffee, and a little breakfast.
Es war super. Schade dass es keine Yoga stattgefunden hat.
아침식사가 매우간단하지만 스프가 정말 맛있었어요 벌레없었고 깨끗, 베개가 냄새가 좀나서 위에 깔고 자야했어요 가격대비 완전좋아요
