Pleasant surprise
Didn't know what to expect since this isn't a typical hotel. However, we werr more than satisfied with the staff, services, and amenities.
Perfect place to stay for a college visit.
Beautiful hotel!
Charged card, said he would credit, has not
The manager made a mistake with the credit card he charged and said he was going to credit it. That charge was last Thursday, it is now no longer pending and has cleared with no credit applied or refund that he noted.
I had no idea there was a hotel on the Wash. U. campus. The rooms rival some of the better hotels I have stayed in. The staff was courteous and friendly. The pricing was also reasonable and the location is right in the heart of the city. I will definitely will be staying there on future visits to my former home town.
Very cozy and quiet
Easy place to stay on campus with helpful staff.
Walk distance to the university.
The Knight center is a little removed from shopping and restaurants (about 20 min walk to Delmar business corridor), but if you have business on campus it is very convenient. The room was very comfortable, and looked as if it were recently renovated. The staff were all very kind and helpful - particularly enjoyed my conversation with Valencia, the bartender at the Bear public house. I will definitely stay here again next time I visit WashU.
Will book this again
Friendly welcoming
Hotel is inside a business school center. Front desk is so friendly and helpful.
Very quiet in campus hotel.
A Nice Place to Stay
Nice clean and updated room. Nice size TV. Huge desk if needing to do work. My only complaints would be that parking is in a garage across the street that was a little inconvenient, especially in cold weather. That may not be a problem for some people. It was nice that it was a garage, but the visitor parking was further away from the entrance than we would have liked. Not a deal breaker, just something to consider. We stayed on the weekend and were not charged for the parking, which was nice. I don't know if that is the case during the week. My only other complaint is that I was not able to stream on the TV. At least, I couldn't find a way to do that. I didn't ask the front desk, so I can't say for sure that is the case. All in all a nice convenient place to stay on campus at a decent price. There is a good chance we will stay there again.
Enjoy staying at the hotel We will be back
It was great experience
Very comfortable
Very clean and comfortable property located on the lovely Wash U campus. We stayed during a weekend and it was quiet too.
Excellent, comfortable beds, immaculate rooms, coffee, full breakfast. Outstanding.
Great location for campus visits at University of Washington. However, there are no onsite restaurants, although breakfast is provided for a fee. Staff is courteous and friendly, but appears to be at the front desk during limited hours only.
Friendly and helpful staff. Clean rooms and easy parking
Very clean and comfortable!
This hotel is located on the campus of Washington University in St. Louis. It’s perfect for families for college visit. We were surprise to find out that free breakfast is also included. Breakfast is simple: coffee, bread, pastries, fresh fruits and yogurt.
Conveniently located on campus. Clean and good sized rooms.
Clean, comfortable, and quiet!
Clean, comfortable, and quiet! Excellent value. On campus so there is not much nearby. Still, if you have a car it works well. Would definitely return.
Sick
Fromm desk was sick when we checked in otherwise love it here
We really enjoyed our stay there .. the room was very specious and the staff was very friendly and welcoming
Nice hotel. Room was a little hot when we entered but it was adjusted early. Loved this space and location
Nice stay
Very nice stay. Very quiet and clean. Excellent service. Nice shower. Easy parking. 5 stars. A few minor annoyances. There's no sign showing where to enter. Me and a couple of other guests went in the wrong door and were lost. The shower handle was very loose. Parking should be free since the hotel isn't downtown. Overall, excellent stay!
Great place
Our son plays football for Wash U and this is a great place to stay right on campus. Free parking on the weekend and the service and rooms are top notch. Close to anything you would want to go to. Can tailgate and then just walk to the hotel.
Great hotel, friendly service and beautiful property
again.
location
Fantastic
Very nice and well maintained. The hotel is bigger than expected. Run by its business school. Room amenities were clean and new. Each floor offers free water, coffee and espresso. Nice front desk staff. Well located on campus. The only thing was late night arrival might be tricky due to under-staff at night. We arrived around midnight, but the hotel door was closed and we could not get in. There was a note on the door telling us the ring the side bell and call front desk but we didn’t see it till later. Someone talked us over the microphone after ring the bell, then a staff opened the door for us. A huge front desk but only one person was on the phone with customer booking.
Great place to stay
Staff is great, love the quiet rooms
Loved staying here! The conference center was clean, well-cared for, and on an absolutely gorgeous campus which felt beyond safe! We loved the pub downstairs and the convenience of the parking garage with no cost on the weekend. We were within walking distance to Forest Park, several museums, and the zoo. A fabulous stay for numerous reasons!
Overall good experience

The front desk clerk was amazing and the room was clean and the bed and pillows were so soft and comfortable!! Totally coming back when we come to the Zoo!
Great short stay.
Great location for Senior year move in
Everything was perfect, but the location is the best if you are visiting your kid in WashU.
Beautiful newly renovated rooms, very quiet. Comfy beds, great shower. A pantry stocked with water and Nespresso coffee was a very nice touch. Great stay!
Lovely place! Would recommend and would return.
We had a very comfortable stay. Although the room given at check in had a mishap with the air conditioning, they sent someone to check it out and then he came back with keys to a new room since it would take awhile to fix. Very courteous staff and the parking was definitely a convenient option and easy to get in and out of with a large SUV.
I had a very pleasant stay at the Charles F. Knight Center. The staff are nice and welcoming. The room is really clean and quiet. Highly recommended.
Very good overall
Love it!
So clean and quiet
Great
This place was perfect for our trip to Washington U!
Clean facility and Nice hospitlality
If you like super clean and friendly staff- this is the place for you. If you like a really cold room- this is not the place for you. The AC was on 68 but didn't feel 68 and I couldn't get it to go any lower.
Good experience
The hotel is on a university campus which was a surprise to us, but I honestly didn’t map to it to see the location. The staff were friendly and helpful. The beds were small so sharing a bed with our kids was a little bit uncomfortable, however I’m sure the hotel was not meant for families. You have to drop off your belongings then find a parking spot in the parking garage. We were only staying 1 night so that wasn’t a big problem. Overall it was a good stay for the night.
Wonderful facility in a perfect location… especially if you have business with WashU
No better place to stay if you are visiting the school.
Skip this place
It’s a hotel but almost like a dorm connected to Washington university, it’s really for their conventions and should not be open to rent public as they don’t even have parking during the day. You have to pay a meter
Great location and very pleasant and professional personnel
Great place to stay. Right on campus. Skip the breakfast.
Staff was not friendly at check in, very rude. Then they gave us the wrong room...pd for a king and was given 2 queens. Had to go down and get the right room and again the staff acted very inconvenienced. Morning staff was very friendly so maybe just a few bad seeds in the group.
Staff were gracious but the one restaurant was very noisy. It’s important to remember this hotel hosts guests who attend business courses and they tend to get rowdy.
Very nice clean
So clean, free weekend parking!
I delightful stay on the Washington University campus.
Very nice and clean. This place looks brand-new after remodeling !
Went for a college tour. Hotel is on campus
Very clean and updated
This is in the middle of the Washington University campus. I imagine rooms are available only a few weeks per year, when campus activities are low and the school doesn't need to house guests. It's a wealthy campus, and this facility reflects that. Parking is in the deck across the street and is free on weekends. There are numerous dining options on Delmar, a pleasant half mile walk to the north. Forest Park is adjacent to the campus. I'd happily stay here again.
I enjoy the stay a lot!
Immaculately clean and very quiet
We arrived late. We were given best care from the night manager.
Very convenient to where our student was staying and walkable to restaurants. The campus is beautiful and makes for a great walk!
Great modern rooms on a beautiful campus. Very little within walking distance and the hotel doesn’t have much for amenities, so if you don’t have a car, Uber is the option for getting to groceries, restaurants, etc.
The room was very attractive, nice woodwork. The staff at the front desk were very friendly, helpful and welcoming.
It was in the business school that my son was admitted to and we visited for a final meeting with faculty and students. Very convenient! Also the rooms and bathrooms were SO MUCH nicer than 2/2023, when we stayed here last time.
Loved that it is on campus, upscale, well maintained property.
Very clean and nice rooms! Beds are very comfortable too. Honestly best sleep of my life!
The hotel is right inside WashU campus a big big plus the accommodations are fair and clean! No place to eat, no restaurant no vending machines paid $260 bucks for one night not even one cup of coffee! I find that unacceptable! After many going around and ask where to get something to eat paid for a baby size egg and cheese burrito $8.50!
Lovely spot. Nice rooms. Literally right on campus - perfect for a college visit.
Wish I could give it a better review
As a Wash U alum, I was excited to stay at the beautiful and well-maintained Knight Center. Kind and friendly staff. I was shocked when I found a cockroach in my room. Staff responded appropriately. Unfortunately, the hotel was fully occupied for that night so my room couldn’t be changed. Didn’t sleep well as a result.
Staff does not communicate information. However the room is tiny with tiny beds. Tiny shower. I kept smacking my elbows on the glass. No coffee in room. Expensive coffee and breakfast. The only good thing was the bed was soft and had good linens. I do not recommend.
Amazing shower
So it is very nice. Room beautiful beds comfortable but small. Noise of airplanes (??) or something that sounds like airplanes all night. Hands down the best shower I have had in a hotel. Very clean.
Great place to stay! Buildings and campus are beautiful. Staff were extremely helpful and pleasant.
Lovely stay
Beautiful hotel. Beautiful grounds. Staff at desk was great!
All good for a University hotel. No coffee in the room or microwave or any complimentary water. But on campus and super convenient. Price was ok. Adrian at the front desk was a super star!
We had booked a double queen room for me and my son looking forward to spend some time together and bond They didnot had the room available and they put us in 2 different rooms When contacted they said Expedia has made the mistake
This was the best find ever. Extremely easy hotel to use it’s clean it’s super comfortable and if you’re headed out to a concert at the pageant it’s a fantastic experience I decided on walking to the concert which was less than a mile away. Beautiful neighborhood it’s in on campus. Parking was simple and safe good lil get away
My stay
Staff was amazing. Super clean rooms. On site bars were closed on the weekend but barbarea was a quick trip away. In the middle of the college so it was very quiet and not busy
Needs a little TLC
The setting is amazing and the little conference rooms everywhere is phenomenal! The place is just really tired and needs some rehab. Bathrooms are rough and the carpets are dead.
Sweet spot. Great for getting a sense of wash u
Unique accommodations.
Located in Washington University, absolutely beautiful campus, easy walking to Forest Park, great breakfast. However, the bed was sagging significantly, making it for a tough night for sleep, and not good for the back it was literally concave. We did hear they are going to upgrade them over the summer.
Beautiful spot right on the Wash U campus
Everything is great is about the hotel from room cleaness to customer service to customer satisfactory. We will definately come back. And we will definately refer this hotel to anyone come and visit st. Louis, MO. Thank you.
The campus is beautiful and the conference center was great.
Staff was very helpful Breakfast above average
The staff are very nice and helpful. The facilities are great! I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who visits St Louis!
Everything was clean and tidy - great first impression
My husband and I went for the weekend to enjoy our first anniversary. Hotel desk staff was very peasant. Pub staff were amazing and so personable. Our only complaint was that the hot breakfast choices were not great.
Perfect location for college campus visit.

Convenient
Knight Center is a wonderful place to stay if doing things at WU. Easy to use metro and/or Uber/Lyft, so you don't have to rent a car to get around the WU/UCity/Clayton area. Competitively priced with alternatives in Clayton.
