Overall this property is family friendly and nice. Walkable from most party areas in Jaco. The only issue I had with is the maintenance. The bubblers in plunge were not working and hit water wasn’t working in couple of bathrooms. Even after multiple reminders and requests the property management failed to fix that.

The only negative i have on this Property is that you can’t bring guest!! i wish that was explained before booking!!

Great place to stay. Close to everything. Felt very safe there and the service was excellent. The room had a few nicks and bumps, but nothing to really complain about. No laundry soap supplied, but was literally down the street and was affordable. I highly recommend.

This property was in top floor with AC either not working or poorly working to provide cooling air in summer. There was no practical way to live in this aprtment with that size of AC units. Even the workers over there were sweating in the room and mentioned that they asked owner to install bigger size unit but havent heard back. I had to change it immediately to another property. Expedia provided good service with making sure I get my refund.

The six bedroom penthouse suppose to be the best of the best at this location. I was a bit disappointed to say the least. The couch and loveseat is very outdated and in bad condition with horrible repairs. I didnt sit on either. We had some rain and water began to come thru the ceiling and three of the sliding doors. Looks as if previous coverup repairs were done. Breakfast was not bad. A few different options were available. Pool area is on the smaller side and gets crowded quickly so get down early to get a spot if you deserve to layout. Security does a great job preventing any outside guests from entering the location. Dont think I would return to this location on my return to Jaco unless penthouse upgrades and maintenance issues are handled.

Disappointed!!!

The unit is a very nice unit, there are many issues with it though. The couches are old leather and ripped in numerous places. The master bedroom, the ceiling fan does not work, the Jacuzzi on the master bathroom water will not run properly to fill up the tub. We rented unit because of that and could not enjoy a jacuzzi!!!! They have an industrial size fan in the living room, when you turn it on you can not hear each other speak because of the noise. Only a few parking spaces up front, if full you need to go across road to parking lot to park. It’s covered with small rocks, when we got our luggage néed to pull them thru the rocks, many issues!!!

Excelente hotel y lo mejor pet friendly

The in room jacuzzi did not work I spent 30 minutes trying to fill it and I just gave up. The hot water went off and on multiple times. Other wise everything was good.

The air-conditioning at the lower room leaked water on top of the bed. It soacked the bed. The receptionist said it was not their problem, but would notify the owner. No compensation for the inconvenience

Great hotel! Clean and peaceful. I didnt like that you couldnt have any visitors. Even for a a few hours.

Very nice property. We booked the larger 6 bedroom unit as we were 6 people. Place was comfortable and the staff were very nice and accommodating. We would stay again

I paid for the 3bed room penthouse it was not what i expected specially at almost 350 a night, the service from the staff was terrible, bartenders were rude maybe they dont get payed good idk but completly ignored me so i left, i ordered laundry was like 4bucks cheap but when i got my clothes back half of them were still dirty it made no sence. Worst part was when I checked inn the lady in the front who looked like she was in a bad mood told me i had only put 2 guest on hotels.com so i needed to pay an additional 40 per person mind you it was 3 of us for a 3 bedroom "penthouse", i told her it was a 3 bedroom and only 3 of us whats the problem ? She said she needed to charge 40 per person that i didnt put down on hotels.com when i just booked the 3 bedroom not worrying about that because ive never had a hotel do this but anyways she contined with the speech didnt want to argue so i payed the 40 but i felt totaly ripped off she knew she wanted to get me for that extra 40$ but whatever i wasnt in the mood to argue but service was terrible on every end. I never write reviews positive or negative but this one i need to tell, stay away with this money go to crocs resort waaaaaay better actual up to date building real exclusive and nice kept up not this place tbh this place seemed like it was for locals everyone there seemed local and maybe thats why we got terrible service i dont know stay away from this place total rip off let me tell you thats all folks .

This was an amazing penthouse. The space was really big and more than enough bedrooms for my friends and I. We loved that the breakfast was included in the stay and the cleanliness was on point.

Costa Rican Paradise

Stayed in the penthouse with friends. It was the perfect size for all 16 of us. The only negative was the water pressure and lack of hot water in the master bedroom. Breakfast was great. The tour coordinators were also great. Super good security

The property where we stayed was very clean and spacious. The staff was very welcoming and kind. We had a great stay and will plan to come back here again!!!

Good location. Comfortable and clean. rooms are getting old and need updating.

It was a cheap penthouse. That’s about all I can say in a positive light. Only 2 showers had hot water, out of 5. The staff was rude and acted as if we didn’t exist every time we entered or exited the property. At 9 pm they literally yank the plug for all the lights around the pool, like some aquatic dictatorship. We had bugs and lizards everywhere, even the beds. No night manager and they refused to issue me a receipt upon checkout. If this sounds ok to you then take the chance. We won’t be back

Great place to stay in Jaco

We had a great time here. The property was beautiful, amazing views, and it was a close walk to town and the beach. The pool was refreshing and the morning breakfast was good. The penthouse was so large, larger than we needed but it was fun. The only complaint is that it’s so large, the A/C took quite a long time to cool the rooms down.

Beautiful property. We had a wonderful stay. The views were breathtaking. Pool and restaurant were very nice. Shopping and other restaurants very close by.

Broken jacuzzi but good otherwise

The room was beautiful, safe location short walk to the beach The description of the room mentioned a jacuzzi but unfortunately it does not work

Hot tub in penthouse didn’t work and hot tub outside by pool area didn’t get hot......

I loved this property, this was my friends and I first time in costa Rica and everyone here made the experience that much more amazing. Franklin was so helpful in booking all of our excursions. We absolutely loved it here. We came out for my friends birthday and I would admit we got a little crazy but the staff was so sweet and understanding. My friends and I are already planning another trip here I would say the only issue we had was the Wifi it basically doesn't work so dont expect to be surfing the web but jaco is so beautiful you'll be fine without internet

We really enjoyed the stay, unfortunately we were there from 8:00 pm to 5:00 pm...not much time to use the swimming pool or any other facility, but the room was really nice and clean. Amazing bathroom with a giant Jacuzzi. Perfect place for a large group of friends or one large family.

I like how clean and how family oriented it was but we had 2 penthouses and out of the 2 4 of the showers didn’t work and 1 of the jacuzzis didn’t work

The property isnt your typicak hotel. Its more on the condo lifestyle (at least the penthouse is). We had no issues with checking in or during our stay. I will note that even though it seems new and clean there is definite noticable wear and tear.

This resort was amazing and beautiful! The staff was super friendly and helpful. The room had a great view but it getting hot water in our room was a problem in every bathroom.

Lots of space for the whole family. Great breakfast every morning.

We really enjoyed staying at this place and the Sky Penthouse. The Penthouse was really spacious. Having two of our own private "mini pools" was nice, especially since the main pool isn't very large. We choose a penthouse with a view to the ocean but it was a bit nosy because it was on the street side and they are doing construction across the street. The staff was very friendly and helpful with our requests. The menu had several good choices on it and great selection of beverages. The location was great with easy access to the shops, restaurants, and the ocean but you'll need your own car or rent one of the bicycles that are on site. We would go back to this location.

I thought it was very lacking and rundown. For what it was advertised. It was basically an empty apartment with beds in it. And when we arrived the air-conditioner was not running and it was about 85° in there it did not cool down till the morning.

Exciting Jaco

The staff very friendly, rooms are a bit outdated (bed and couch) need to be changed. Overall it was a good experience

Everything was perfect except there was no hot water for the hot tub in the penthouse nor was there hot water for the jacuzzi by the pool.

Great penthouse - HORRIBLE STAFF!

The Penthouse apartment was as the photos indicated - large, modern and beautiful. However, the service sucked! The staff is so rude. I will never stay st this place again. How unfortunate as the facility is great.

The hotel was pretty nice and clean, the penthouse was very spacious. The breakfast was really good for the price. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful.

Newer, modern boutique hotel about 3 blocks from beach. We stayed here in 2017 also and had a much better experience. This time around we had a few issues. The staff are WONDERFUL. You couldn't find a group of kinder, more helpful people. However, we had facilities issues. There was no hot water in the master bedroom shower of our 3 bedroom condo all week despite repeated requests for a repair. Then, a pipe burst in the master bathroom flooding the entire condo and the other two couples in our group were relocated to other rooms for the last two nights of our stay. The pool is also CROWDED from dawn until close with a lot of children - it's not peaceful at all. We didn't even sit at the pool this year. I feel bad because I love the people that run the place, but we did not have a great experience this time around. (We were compensated for the flood - they took 30% off our room the last two nights and gave us our food tab (about $150) for free also).

Very enjoyable stay at the Oceano. The property was first class and very friendly staff. Would definitely recommend the place and would stay there again without hesitation.

Water Problems

Stayed in a penthouse with large tub....only problem they have major water pressure problems and limited hot water.

Nice hotel but not close to beach

We had a 4 bedroom, 4 bath penthouse apartment. It was almost too large for our family of 5. It had a Modern, upscale feel to it. I imagined a lot of parties happening there because of its large size. We wish we were right on the beach; this was a bit of a walk to it. Our balcony looked over an area that had houses, one with a rooster that screamed all day long. Never stopped. The restaurant and pool area was nice and suited our needs. For a 2 night visit it was fine.

Increíble

We stayed in pacifica penthouse 2 nights which was amazing. The roof deck had a great view of the moon and stars at night. The balconies had small private pools and a partial view of the ocean. This place has so much to explore we didnt even get to it all. Staff was very friendly. Bicycle rentals were really fun.

The condo is super nice. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Water pressure was not impressive. Overall a great place to stay

Nice view and stay

The penthouse is really nice, staff is so friendly, room service fast. There should be some restorations, one AC unit was not working in the main room, wall has filtered water and needs painting, gym equipment needs maintenance. Pet friendly, staff is smiling from beginning to the end of your stays
