Good to stay
The balcony's were ideal
Room was kept spotless, desk staff friendly and efficient. Loved the sixties theme and excellent location.
Nice Hotel
Lovely hitel in a great location next to Las Ramblas
Hotel has an excellent location to the area of major interest. The Rambla and the Moll of Barcelona I think it’s called. The pier perfect location. I loved the decor of the hotel and the morning breakfast is excellent. Loved my room and the only thing I regret is that I didn’t have time to enjoy it more.
Great location, great staff and good breakfast .
Not the safest location but walking distance to everywhere and just next to the metro station.
This hotel was much better than I expected. It was clean, the front desk was friendly, and the location was great. There are a lot of things to see in this area. The subway station is a 2-minute walk away. The breakfast buffet is from 7:30 to 11:30. Great buffet. The price is cheaper than other hotels, and the rooms are clean and the design is pretty. I prefer this hotel.
Nos gustó mucho el hotel y el trato. Aprovecho la oportunidad para que revisen si dejé mi cartera en el hotel. No aparece Gracias
Amazing hotel with pleasant staff who were extremely helpful. Definitely stay again
Great staff and perfect area.
Excellent
Great location, close to Ramblas, Barceloneta, metro station, Shops, bars
Recommend
Great location, walkable to most places or easy access to metro/bus. Hotel has problem with smell from the outside drains in the room, but the staff were pleasant, room had everything we needed. Would stay again.
Very nice
Located down a side alley but very convenient to Metro and La Rambla. Breakfast was very good value, offered a small selection of hot food and varied selection of cold food. Staff very pleasant.
Great place to stay , staff super friendly and very helpful
The location
Nice clean friendly
Location was excellent, close to everything. Very quirky decor, loved it. Breakfast was great.
Exactly where we wanted to be, walking distance to everything
Very compact but clean
Excellent and welcoming front desk staff Olympia and Jacob. It was my second time and will stay again.
Ideally located close to Ramblas offering lots of amazing food options, although Ramblas itself is a little rundown. Hotel has underground car parking available (if you can negotiate the local roads and traffic and the bollard which meant we had to abandon the car and walk to the hotel to get help in gaining access). Breakfast was chaotic and would benefit from good management. Coffee excellent, although breakfast area is shared with locals stopping in for a morning coffee.
Ideal spot for the Ramblas
Convenient for our 1 night stay. Located a 90 second walk to the Ramblas. Unfortunately because the hotel is a street back from the main road it helps muggers! My son was attacked for money. ( he was not hurt) Be careful of walking alone.
The property is in a very convenient location just off the Ramblas. The staff was excellent.w
Hotel Sixties Ramblas
Enjoyed my stay . Comfy bed and liked the on site restaurant/cafe and quirky story of hotel.
Beautiful and very unique property. Kitchy throwback decour but very well done, clean and interesting place in the heart of everything you'd want to walk to. Very happy with my stay there.
Good coffee/breakfast shop on the first floor.
I love the location of this hotel because it is within minutes from La Ramblas and close to the cruise ship port. The staff are super friendly and offered to keep my luggage in storage before my afternoon flight. I love the retro-design and would definitely book this hotel again in the future!
Room very comfortable but!
Room was excellent but they kept forgetting to put coffee milk and sugar in the room. Staff at reception were excellent Be careful with wallet when out and about I had mine stolen and they used tap and pay in Santa Barcelona to the value of about 100 euro
Es centrico cerca de las paradas de bus y ramblas .
Perfect location. Staff very helpful, rooms clean with towels changed daily. Breakfast was good.
Reception and restaurant staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was reasonably priced and the selection was plentiful and fresh. Also, the location was a short walk to restaurants, shopping and tourist attractions.
Big spacious room with nice balcony. Very clean and the staff are really nice
This hotel is very close to La Ramblas and metro. Very walkable. The hotel staff are excellent and they go out of their way to help you (special thanks to John Paul). Additionally, breakfast is excellent you have both warm and cold options, fruits and pastries. The bar is great the brothers that bartend are excellent. Overall I would recommend this hotel and I hope to return in the future.
The staff were extremely helpful, both front desk and restaurant. Breakfast selections were varied and plentifully. Location was just a short walk to La Ramble and to a large square where the tour bus stopped. All in all the perfect location for us.
Great experiance staying the this hotel. Stuff was super helpful and morning breakfast team made us feel very welcome. The place was very clean and rooms are quiet (didnt hear any noise at night). Air conditioning unit and all facilities were operating well too. Wifi was fast. Only downfall is the area around the hotel, it can be quite dodgy at night so better not to walk any side roads there. And one lift was out of service for a few days. Apart from that all good. Overall I recommend this hotel.
Ok I guess. Breakfast was good.
Great boutique hotel
Cool boutique hotel in a great location, just off la rambla. Nice little bar downstairs too!
I booked this hotel for 1 week for my parents to stay for their holidays. The place was very convenient as it was just steps away from Metro Drassanes station and around 5 minutes walk from Liceu station. The room was very spacious for 2 persons. And the size of the bathroom is good. The hotel staff did a very good job in terms of the security, for example, visitors and room keys control, etc. It was quite important to my parents as the hotel was next to La Rambla. A few small bugs found in the room from time to time, but overall was acceptable. The room was non-smoking, but I guess since there's a balcony included, we could smell cigarettes for the first night.
Ok stay
Not a bad hotel. Bar area nice. Room small but terrace was nice. Service ok. Location to the port good.
Super close to the action. Definitely would stay there again.
Property and service are great. Location not so much.
Stayed here with my wife before flying home and we enjoyed it.
Had a good stay while I was there
Place was perfect for our stay - i just wish the rooms had more full body size mirrors.
Nostalgic property. Staff is amazing!! Location is very convenient. Not only it's very close to La Rambla and tons of restaurants and shoppes, it's easy to access from the main street without having to drive through the crowd.
Un hotel, muy basico, ubicado en todo el inicio de la rambla, pero las habitaciones basicas.
Absolutely loved our stay
Great hotel at a central location steps away from the subway
Very good basic accommodation. Area okay but made sure we came back before dark and tried to walk near to other tourists. Didn’t like frosted window in room and no screen on it. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Room small but very clean
Very friendly and helpful staff. Close to dining
Location was perfect, close to everything
Will stay again
This is an absolutely wonderful hotel. The staff is warm and helpful. The location is superb and the restaurant has a fantastic breakfast.
Nice hotel, central location
Good location, rooms nice with all the main amenities. No issues.
We stayed 2 nights pre cruise. We didn’t want to spend a fortune. This hotel was perfect for us. It’s a bit quirky. Comfortable clean room with balcony and air con on 6th floor. Not a good view from the balcony but that didn’t really bother us. Close to La Rambla and cruise port. Good breakfast options. A good place to stay.
Loves the place, nicely designed and have good amenities for the stay. Regular cleaning service was such a relief. Close to La Rambla and other destinations.
All good breakfast didn’t have variety
Good location but a bit noisy
Good location but a bit noisy.
Our room was nice and clean. Not much of a view from the balcony but its nice to sit outside. The hotel staff was great for check in, check out, arranging airport transportation, and especially for recommending breakfast and dining options. The location is close for walking to shopping, the marina, and the beach. I would definitely stay here again.
The breakfast was one of the best I’ve had in a very long time. The front staff, after our initial check-in, were very friendly and accommodating. I gave it three stars because of the room. It was small, ill equipped, the bathroom lacked any type of hooks and it wasn’t particularly clean.
Nice clean hotel within short walk to the beginning of La Rambla Street.
Will definitely visit again. The friendliest , helpful staff.
Loved our stay. It was convenient to get around. People are very friendly and there for you, always willing to help.
Solid choice downtown near the Rambla.
This is a very good choice right near the harbor and the Rambla. You can walk to a lot of things from here and it is easy to get a taxi. The staff are very good. The room was perfectly fine. The lobby is cute and has a cafe and breakfast. It’s not included but it’s cheap.
Great area.
My stay was good. The location is great. Our room was clean and comfortable. The hotel staff treated and helped us good when we needed anything. The area is nice and near the very happening Rambla section of the city. Only complaint is the walls seem thin and the noisy refrigerator we had in our room. Overall, the conditions were good.
Room was incredibly small. Bathroom was like a little closet
Lovely hotel staff and the room is spacious and comfortable. The location is 2 mins walk to the metro. I would stay here again in Barcelona. :)
Nice place a bit noisy at night because of apartment building next door
Good clean, basic hotel with good breakfast. Excellent location.
The rooms are very dorm like and if you leave the hotel you have to surrender your room key at the front desk. The size of the room is comfortable, but seating accommodations are limited. You have one by canvas chair (ours was stained) and one hard plastic desk chair. The closet is a bar with hangers over a cook top and a sink (very strange set up). A/C worked well and the room was quiet. I would not recommend staying more than one night.
The theme and style of the property is very cool and fun! Love the retro elevators with factory closing doors. The staff are all nice and remember you! You have to leave your key at the front desk every time you leave the property but no issues as there is 24hours someone at the front desk. The alleys behind the building can sometimes feel unsafe but if you exit towards Drassanes metro station the area is wide and well lit.
Very convenient for touristic areas. The rooms are small and kinda old, but the restaurant and breakfast are amazing. The best cappuccino in the area. Staff is very helpful and friendly.
This was a really great hotel. The food and service at the restaurant in the lobby was excellent. Rooms.were clean and had all necessary amenities.
Great hotel for stay in central Barcelona.
The hotel is clean and safe. Well located, walking distance from public transit, dining options and shopping. Staff friendly and professional.
Hotel was nice and clean. Hotel staff were super friendly and helped us pick a great restaurant. didn’t like around 2 or 3am a girl was screaming outside and was able to hear it both nights I was there
Most friendly staff I have ever experienced at a hotel. Well decorated with 60’s lobby furniture. Convent buffet restaurant right next to the lobby. Room not the most updated but clean and suitable. 10 min walk to las ramblas. Very quiet place. Terrace was nice. 7th floor, top floor. 10Euro cab ride from cruise ship. Cozy sushi restaurant 300 feet from front door. Would recommend and would book again.
New experiences
TV has no English Channels Could not check in until 3:30pm Doors / lights hard to operate- no one explained what to do
I liked this hotel. I give it 8 out of 10, which is good. It had every thing you need and comfortable room/ environment. The food was okay but the coffee was amazing!! I wish it had a microwave, but also no big deal. I thought the location was great. Some people say the location was sketchy but I don’t really think so. It’s literally one walkway over from La Rambla so it’s usually pretty busy around there. I don’t think the air conditioning worked but it was chilly outside so I just opened the balcony door. I also wish the tvs were smart but that’s okay too. I think they should update their key system as well for the doors. They use old school keys but maybe that’s for the sixties aesthetic. I needed an extra night last minute and they were available so that was nice too. Very friendly staff. There are always people there if you ever need anything. Lively place. Needs a few updates but overall still nice and cool place. Its got the sixties feel but still with a nice modern touch.
Unfortunately there were many homeless people on the streets nearby, which led us to avoid certain streets. Hopefully Barcelona will implement additional shelters and support to help.
Pleasant friendly staff. Great location immaculate. Only negative bar was closed on Sunday but plenty of local restaurants. Would absolutely stay there again when I visit Barcelona next. They do keep the room key it’s the safest thing to do in Barcelona is sadly known for pickpockets
Excelllent
Clean
nice hotel at the center
Prefect location for everything, metro around the corner.
Simple, small, clean room. Decent size fridge and small hob for self catering. Staff v polite and helpful. Very convenient location for walking to Gothic Quarter, harbour area and La Rambla. Bag storage before and after check in no problem
Nice hotel Well located
Excellent all round
Small hotel, Good location very near to sites such as la Ramblas, the port, beach, and Monjuic. But setback on quiet street. Easy access to metro nearby. Nice superior room with balcony, very clean, kettle, tea and coffee. Very polite and friendly staff, always helpful. Nice continental breakfast and coffee very popular with locals
Great quirky hotel, fab location.
Grest hotel in perfect location. Nice rooms, friendly staff. We fidnt stay for breakfast, chose to venture out. Bar was closed Sunday but pkenty to choose from in the area. Would stay again.
Will return.
We stayed two nights in room 209. Good room. Fabulous shower. Balcony was nice to have but offices overlooking it closely.
Great value and good stay with gothic location
Fantastic location at the bottom of La Ramblas a couple of minutes walk from the metro station. Friendly reception staff and funky vibe. Room was ok but noise travelled easily through the doors so beware if a light sleeper. Beds and pillows were comfy. Good selection of bread, pastries, coffee for breakfast in the restaurant area.
Lovely hotel, great staff and good location. Would definitely stay again next time I visit
Excellent location, the hotel was immaculate and lovely and modern. We really enjoyed our stay there Thankyou
I chose this hotel due to it being close to the metro line. It was really easy to get to the hotel from the main train station. The staff are really nice. The rooms are interesting and comfortable. However, my double bed was two singles pushed together. That was not great. Guests have to leave the key at the front desk. That is fine, but wasn't expecting that. Not hotel related, but there is a really great pizza place called 'Pizza Circus' a couple of streets away. Really great pizza, which they also sell by the slice.
Very cute bar and common areas - the rooms themselves were basic, though the bathrooms were quite nice. Had a strange little kitchenette cubby, but didn’t come with utensils or anything to use with it. Clean and quiet, very nice staff and close to La Rambla!

Great location within walking distance to main roads and the busy Ramblas street. Unique boutique style hotel loved the theme. Just be careful don’t leave food out the ants get to it really fast.
