Lovely location and friendly staff.

Great property. Would have liked to spend a few days there.

Nice views, but the fridge in our room had a knocking sound ALL night, both the service & food at the restaurant downstairs was horrible. Probably won’t stay again.

Everything was pretty comfortable as it related to my room stay.

I love the running y but this time the sauna and jacuzzi were broken and I really wish I knew that ahead of time. Big bummer

Always a pleasure!

We always enjoy staying at the Running Y especially during Christmas when we stay. Also the young man who arrives early for work in the morning and handles the coffee is absolutely amazing and deserves a raise. He is friendly and makes our stay pleasant each time. We also bring our Sally dog and she loves visiting!

Just okay

Rooms didn’t feel luxury for how much they cost. Beds were hard. Cut a 3 night stay to 2 nights because the accommodations were just average compared to 200 a night price tag. Electrical outlet in room didn’t work. Overall it’s a nice place but the room just didn’t seem any better than an average Hilton room for 120 a night.

The resort was beautiful and the house was also. Wish there was a little bit more outside privacy how we when staying on a resort it was to be expected.

The staff here are outstanding. Facilities are very nice, with a lodge-like feel. The bar staff were friendly and the drink selections were impressive for a smaller bar. Very reasonable prices for a resort. Definitely would stay again.

Great place to stay. Travel through Klamath Falls several times a year and always stay here. Excellent room, food,bar. Will be back again

Our room smelled like wet dog the entire stay.. Wallpaper was unraveling throughout the room, grout in bathrooms were definitely dirty, headboard in our room was scratched and not in good shape. Overall, staff was good but the room could have been much better if they’re trying to compete with a resort like Sunriver for instance. The property itself was dead, no stores except the convenience market was open. Overall probably wouldn’t come back.

Everything was just as it said it was... So Beautiful, rooms are spacious and quiet! The hot tub was open late so we could enjoy it longer... The Staff was so nice and friendly, would reccomemd..

They do not have a privacy available when asked. However they ask to see personal information like your drivers license. You have to walk outside and go to another building for the fitness center and pool, but it is a nice pool.

Ice machines not working in any floor, room coffee maker didn’t work, hot tub closed. Otherwise beautiful grounds and spacious suite.

Nice resort!

Beautiful resort! Small restaurant and no tables, so we just ordered takeout. Noisy neighbors, but that isn’t the resorts fault. Wish we could have spent more than one night.

Absolutely beautiful scenery!

Very nice hotel. Front desk staff (Eli) very pleasant and helpful. Room was very nice, clean, quiet and the bed very comfortable. Disappointed we only stayed there one night. Would love to go back.

This property is excellent! We did not stay here to golf but heard multiple say the course was amazing. The staff is so friendly and very helpful! Clean, walkable, and quiet!

Best place to stay in Klamath Falls

Schedule time to enjoy the resort

An outstanding pleasant stay that was too short, giving me no time to explore what is clearly a well equipped resort.

The place is ok, at best. After playing golf the car was so hot in the unshaded parking lot that my makeup, deodorant etc melted. Checkin at the hotel is not until 4pm so you have to leave your stuff in the car if you came for golf. There is no marshal on the course so we were very behind because of others are taking their sweet time. Then ppl are on your tail and watching you put. Reception was not much welcoming. The restaurant Ruddy Duck, does not give reservations to guests staying at the hotel a preference so we were sent away and told “maybe” at 7pm we could get seated. We came back at 8pm finally were seated. Food was alright. Cheeseboard not impressive quality. Salad was great, ribeye was overcooked and potato mash was oddly sweet. Staff was very nice and attentive. We were told that the hot tub was broken. Lastly, the market has a stressed out unfriendly staff and the breakfast burrito was absolutely bland with a “taco sauce” packet thrown in the bag that they called “salsa” lol! For a $300 plus hotel room (nothing impressive) and close to $300 for a round of golf, its not a “resort” I would revisit or recommend.

Great except for the 12:30am false fire alarm

Great Resort, I definitely recommend it 10/10 if staying in the Klamath Falls area!

My family and I needed a place to stay overnight near the Crater Lake. We were happy to find this resort. The hotel room itself was dated and could use some upgrades. The hotel staffs are polite. The resort is so beautiful outside. Wish we could stay longer to enjoy the scenery.

It is a place to relax.

Property is in a beautiful setting. Staff was helpful but clearly for the cost of the room I would have expected some sort of service to take our bags to our room. No such service. Facility itself is showing its /- 30 Year age. A freshening is in order. A

Hotel is very nice overall and staff are very helpful. Location is remote, being in the country and 15 minutes from town, but it is very quiet and beautiful. Rate is a little high but you do get what you pay for as we felt it was worth it overall.

We just did a quick overnight on our way to Washington! The room was comfortable the bed very comfortable and very clean! Love the restaurant and the servers

Pet friendly just have a lot things to do with my best friend in this property and for my family and my enjoy nature and many activities close to there thanks and see you next time!!!

Lovely property in a quiet location.

The property offers fantastic views of the golf course and the views of the golf course from the rudy duck's restaurant patio are amazing, especially at sunset. The service at Rudy Duck is lackluster though. The personnel tries its best but was overwhelmed - on the evening of our arrival we were not able to get dinner as the kitchen closed as the kitchen was under staffed. The following days were not much better - the next morning we waited a literal hour to get our breakfast order ready. This was a recurring problem for the rest of our stay - to the point that we decided to get our breakfast at the Market instead. I don't blame the staff but I blame the management to not have sufficient staff during the busy 4th of July week.

Very quiet and a joy to stay there. Beautiful property.

This is a great place to stay, but the Ruddy Duck Restaurant has gone downhill. The food was late being served and the pasta was lukewarm. This used to be a good place. Hopefully they’ll turn it around

Beautiful after a long drive headed home.

Check-in staff was amazing and grounds are beautiful! Bathroom in our room (especially the toilet) needs updated/replaced. Our dinner was mediocre and not worth the price.

We have been going here for years. Ebbs and flows in service. However, beautiful property.

It’s pretty nice.

Room was very clean and spacious. Great view and super friendly hotel staff. The in door pool and the spa were wonderful. A little bit of driving to all the great attractions, but it’s definitely worth it.

Our first time !! What beautiful property!! Similar likeness and to Sunriver ! If felt like they needed to hire a large amount of staff. Our wait for a drink and dinner and breakfast was 2 hours ( start to finish) with a :20-:30 wait just for water. It would’ve helped if the staff could’ve communicated their delays to us , rather than eye contact and communication.

I was traveling alone (55 yr old female) from Sacramento CA to Bend OR... and wanted a two day trip, I found the Running Y Resort and was pleasantly surprised! It had everything, running (or biking) trial, pool, nice big comfortable rooms, great outdoor dining with beautiful view, plus the food and service was excellent! I will plan to stop by everytime I travel to Bend!

Great room and facilities. Nice property. Arrived for dinner, 30 minutes to get drinks, over an hour to get food. Steak was somewhat tough and over cooked. For a higher priced ribeye, i was hoping for tender melt in your mouth.. But the dessert was spot on delicious.

Best place to stay in Southern Oregon…excellent views, accessible birding, great pool, amazing golf course, pickleball, trails, and the ice skating rink!!!! You won’t regret a stay at The Running Y!

One of the best restaurants in town

Lovely place. Only stayed a short while but it was beautiful and very pleasant. Lots of amenities. The staff was terrific. The only rough spot for me was lack of availability for charging my car. Someone in another car parked at the single charging station all afternoon and all night and didn’t inform the front desk of who they were or when they would move. I really needed some power so this was a hassle. The hotel is planning to upgrade their charging station so this issue might be outdated. And it’s more about another customer, rather than the hotel. In any event, if you’re driving electric, check with the resort and plan accordingly.

Very nice, kid friendly resort. Need dinner reservations but you can do to go. Very clean and comfortable.

The houses were nice and it was very quiet. The restaurant and empty stores were very disappointing.

Harry Potter doors, great amenities, good price

Excellent and economical place to spend a bit of time if you’re out this way! Loved availability of affordable mini-golf just down the road for the kids. Great pool and hot tub with sauna which is not directly at the hotel but at a neighboring (easily walkable) resort sports center with other amenities as well (playground, tennis, weight rooms, machines). We just missed the neighboring ice rink which is beautiful and open seasonally. Room comfortable, fridge in room, microwave on floor. No food anywhere around (closest maybe 10-15) so you’re definitely stuck with restaurant on site if you don’t want to drive (or bring crappy microwaveable food like we did!) Looks from other reviews like restaurant is good, we just didn’t want to spend the money. Looks like a beautiful place to walk some trails in nice weather too! Only irritation was that two large groups were also utilizing the facility and they were very loud as they walked by our room both later at night and early in the morning (I think their meetings must have started around 7a and I surmised that they were meeting in small groups in each other’s rooms prior to larger meet-ups based on traffic and noise in the hallway. That was no fault of the hotel but just guests being disrespectful and oblivious. We are light sleepers but overall did well and thought our stay was great! Polite, lovely staff and my kids’ favorite part was the pool and regal automatic opening doors - they pretended to be characters from Harry Potter.

I love the quiet nature and the varieties of activities the Running Y offers. Every staff member was incredibly kind and helpful

The place is beautiful and our room was nice along with the patio view of the golf course. However we felt the pillows were way too large and the bed actually wasnt that comfortable, didnt sleep well. Service was great at front desk and the food service was good too! Wish the pillows were smaller.

The restaurant staff was nice but didn’t have many non-meat options. The store was nice and staff was friendly. I had a malfunctioning fire alarm which went off twice during the night and I had to change rooms about 11pm. The next room I was in had a toilet that was running about every 10 mins. So sleep was not great during my stay.

Great amenities. First stay was wonderful, second stay they had us down a hallway that was under renovation, which was much less appealing. The restaurant is great for dinner but not for breakfast. Wait is forever but food is good. So don’t go for breakfast unless you have at least an hour or more time. The lake is beautiful.

It is very nice, but Expedia said it came with a Mountain View, which I got a parking lot view and it said a balcony and I had no balcony

Great place to stay while traveling through

Very nice property especially for the price. Clean and large room. Good food at the restaurant and a full bar. Plenty of comfortable areas to sit in front of the fireplaces. We took the 2.5 mile nature walk in the evening and it was very scenic and a great workout before dinner. If traveling through, this is a great place to stay the night.

It was a quick stop on our way to Idaho, but we will definitely plan a longer stay in the future because it was beautiful and full of things to do.

Loved the stay, amazing property and facilities are well maintained. The staff and owner are very courteous and will go out of their way to make you feel welcome and comfortable. I’d come back to stay again!

The locker rooms were dirty every time I went in. Hot tub was closed 2 out of the 3 days. I could not get a spa treatment. Coffee and breakfast doesn’t open till 8am and there was only 1 server and a full restaurant. Gold course staff was great!
