Nice spot to spend for a few days whilst holidaying throughout Thailand.

Simply the best!

Well it is for me. Others might have a different idea. But almost all of my visits/stays in Bangkok. Have been at this establishment. When elsewhere always regretted it. Even if it was on the same road. So can hardly wait for next time!!

The hotel is in great location with many options for dining. We chose breakfast included option and enjoyed their wide selections of food. The front desk staff were very nice. We had to check out early for the early flight check in and they prepared packed breakfast for us.

Bit dirty but in a convenient location!

Still the favourite!!

Have been staying at this location for years! It is only rated as a 3star hotel. But there are others in the same street with the same rating. Stayed with them also. But they be a 3 star then the royal view easily be a 4 star. Of course others might disagree. But rooms are spacious Bathroom is with a tub. Breakfast is plentiful and self service Staff is professional and proficient in English. Seems to be in Mandarin also. Looking forward to my next visit. Only stayed 10 days with them and no complaints!!

Nice and helpful staff , clean hotel. Is abit far from pratumun market but still within walking distrance. Only issue is that there is construction going on at the neighbour so normal day you will be wake up by the noise at 8am . Overall a good hotel to stay .

Rangnam, a good location for Royal View Resort.

Nice pleasant seven days stay. The service staffs are very polite and always at your service. This hotel is situated around food restaurants and BTS Victory Monument. Besides the BTS station are the central bus hub around the Victory Monument. I enjoyed my stay.

The staff are always happy, helpful and polite. Close to good street food and some high end shopping if that's what you like..? Across the street is a park for exercising or just to chill out. I recommend going to the massage parlour in the hotel, 5 star treatment!

A bit difficult to find the location at first due to the one way road and no sign board anyway that show hotel name

Nice garden infront. But construction was noisy. LAircon was weak n manage to get change on 2nd night. Sad to say mattress was very very soft that my mom n I can’t get good sleep, body aching..both of us didn’t sleep well. Compare to the 1st room, mattress was slight better. Bathtub also give insecure to elderly as there was no handle to grib on which I have to monitor her before n after bath. As for services, we are very very happy to see the staff all are very nice, helpful and fast response. Great job !

The condition of this hotel is well above many 3 stars hotel that I have stayed. The room is spacious, quiet & clean. But for those with walking difficulties may be an issue, coz you’ll need to walk around 8mins to victory monument BTS.

Our home away home in Bangkok

The place is really clean. The restroom is clean. It's located next to a park as well. The place at night is really quiet and peaceful. The lights are yellow bulbs so it's not as bright as I would've wanted, but that's more of a personal taste. The bed is really soft, I loved their beds.

Good location near metro, staff friendly, but noisy in early morning

We have been utilizing this hotel for our yearly vacations to Thailand for years and I hope I don't regret saying but they are amazing. Friendly and welcoming staff is just the first treat you get when none walks through the front door after enduring the Bangkok heat. We love this hotel and plan on reserving rooms for years to come. My only worry is to many people may find this gem and ruin it for us. My advice to the hotel, don't change anything and keep the staff you have.

Relax, away from busy & chaotic streets

Hotel is less than 10 minutes walk to the nearest BTS (Victory Monument). Do take note it's situated in a one-way street, let your driver knows in advance if you're taking a cab, else you will have to make one round to the location. Location is quiet and there is a park beside it. Hotel staff is friendly and efficient. They know how to speak Thai, English and Mandarin. Air-con is strong and working well. Highly recommended. I'll definitely come back here again for my next trip to Bangkok.

The location is near BTS station. The room is equipped with necessary toiletries. The staff are friendly too.

Very helpful and friendly staff, pleasent stay

Stay was good. The staff was excellent and extremely helpful, even when there was a five hour black-out when I checked in. Lobby was decorated with candles and head torches. Bed was a little bit too soft, but that is just personal preference.

Great place to stay in Bangkok: 10/10!

Great place to stay that exceeded our expectations. The location is close to the sky train and airport/rail link and there are good local restaurants and bars close by. The room was clean, spacious and had a very comfortable bed. All the staff were firendly and helpful. Would stay here again if visiting Bangkok.

Everything was fine, except ....

Everything was fine, except a problem with internet. My phone couldn't log in the hotel network, no matter what I tried, and I am not a novice in IT. The staff had no idea either. On the laptop I had to activate 802.11d, which is inactive by default in Windows 10, so I had Internet on the laptop at least. I think the whole thing has something to do with Thai registration rules.

As always, my one stop shop for everything Bangkok. I won’t go to any other hotel simply because everything you could ever need for is right here at this hotel.

Stayed 15 days here and it was a pleasant experience. 10 mins slow walk to Victory Monument, many 7-11s around the area. Cross the road to Pullman King Power for restaurants and food court featuring the best of Thai food without the long queues. Hotel staff were polite and do their best. Room was adequate and well-maintained. Will stay here again for sure!

Not very good

Hotel is good, but breakfast is very poor and meals from potatoes was always terrible(raw potatoes always)! Staff very friendly and room was very clean! Room was very big and very comfortable!

This is my favorite Bangkok hotel. The staff are warm and friendly. The room has everything you need including a very comfortable bed. Chili beef and pork curry for breakfast cant be beaten.

Very clean and spacious room. Only thing we didn’t like was that the toilet bowl was choked on the second day but it was fixed quickly after we told the hotel staff

Friendly staff and very helpful. Needed assistance for a prior booking made as there were some error and the reception gladly assisted and help us solve them. The room is well maintained and clean too! Only thing is that is not near the main area but walking distance to Victory Monument station and King Power Outlet Mall.

The lobby reception is pleasant as we could expect from Thais. It is conveniently located nearby Victory monument BTS and bus station at the victory monument roundabout within 10mins walk. Don meang airport can be accessed by A2 bus that stops at the roundabout, its a good way to get to airport and still doesn't stop for passengers often and cheap too... Right in front of the hotel is a park to spend leisure time with joggers during early morning or evening. Its a tranquil area to stay in. The only weird thing i felt is my family members slowly developed rashes on hands and legs we weren't sure its the air or the mattress or something else

Good location and friendly staff

This is my 2nd time to stay in Royal View Resort, still very satisfied about our stay.

Good place near the park

The room is big and the breakfast is good But in the evening they have aerobic dancing at the park so the loud may disappoint you for half an hour

Sensational

You feel at home the moment you step through the door. The welcome drink and small dessert were the best I have experienced. All the staff spoke english well and were very happy to answer question and prompt with requests. Breakfast was good including sensational chili beef one morning. The area is quiet but still convenient with restaurants, shopping centres and the sky train all close by. This will be my new go to hotel in Bangkok

Great hotel helpful staff

I stayed here only one night but was made very welcome by the helpful staff. Room was clean and comfortable. Had a great night sleep. The hotel over looks a park that is lovely to walk in and has aerobics classes in the evening and an outdoor gym if you enjoy that type of thing. The breakfast was good lots of choice and the staff were very helpful in organising taxis etc. I would definitely stay again.

The location was decent, able to take taxi easily. However, the room aircon is not functioning well as it is not very cooling eventhough switched on for few hours.

Warm welcoming even came at midnight. Staff always wear smile. Breakfast quality above average and refilled conatantly even close to the end. Breakfast starts from 6 to 10 am. Refrigerator free to use in room. Wifi free of charge with exceptionally high coverage speed and stability. SLIPPERS PROVIDED! Full set of personal hygiene consumables including shampoo bathing-gel body-lotion razer shower-hat comb toothbrush-set and cotton-buds. Towels are offered for different purposes. Every day new glass-bottled water givem as long as house-keeping required. I only asked for once though during my 4 night stay. The only shortcoming is that there is little dust on some furniture in room. Still acceptable.

The location of the hotel is very nice, there is a BTS station and an ARL station nearby so it’s very convenient to move around. Just wished I knew this earlier

Good Mid-Range Hotel

The hotel is slightly off the beaten path, just under 10 minutes walk from the BTS Victory Monument Station. There are no significant amenities adjacent to the hotel, but are readily available within a 5-minute walk. The market at Victory Monument was also located a similar distance away. Upon check-in, I was greeted with a welcome drink and dessert, which was much appreciated. My room was spacious and wifi was decently fast. I was pleasantly surprised when I walked into the room that the air conditioning was left on - the room was cool and I didn't have to wait for it to cool down like almost every other property I've been to in Thailand. The breakfast buffet was okay. There were western and eastern selections. Nothing spectacular, but it wasn't horrible either. Overall, the stay was good and the price point made this hotel a good deal. For those who use public transportation and don't mind a bit of a walk to the station, then this is a good hotel for you.

Nice room, very friendly staff

Nice hotel, with friendly and welcoming staff. Bedroom was a good size, clean and with a big balcony. Unfortunately can hear people in next door rooms and cleaners can be noisy in the mornings (starting before 8am, even on a Sunday). Othwise a nice comfortable stay. Would certainly consider returning.

OUTSTANDING !!

This was our 2nd time in this hotel and we stayed for 11 nights. Superb location overseeing a green belt and myriad of local food available at throw-away prices. With two nearby malls and a bustling night market this location beats many other locations hands down because it gives you the fun of BKK minus the typical sleaze . About the hotel :- 1) sumptuous breakfast , 2) Outstanding hospitable staff , 3) Big sized rooms with neat and clean & big bathrooms and a decently sized balcony , 4) through and through free wifi connection ...... this hotel is a true value for money . We have stayed at much bigger and star rated hotels in the past but never have repeated any hotel but for this one ..... and will surely repeat this one again. Superb connected with BTS at a 5 mins walk and not more than 15 mins walk to all the popular markets and malls. Must stay here.

Hidden Gem

Close to BTS airport line, nice park opposite hotel, very nice market next to Victory Monument and a lot of street food around and also plenty of reasonable priced restaurants. For 2 people hostels on that same street cost more and hotel standard is very good with fantastic welcome greeting. Definitely nice surprise. Totally recommended

Clean Hotel with excellent staff.

Checked into the hotel for a 5D4N trip in Bangkok, was greeted by a friendly receptionist and the check-in was a breeze and done under 5 minutes, was served pineapple juice and a bite of mango sticky rice during the 5 minute wait , which was very much appreciated. Booked a Mini Suite for my stay , rooms were clean and comfortable and had as many plug points as you wished, bathroom amneties sufficient and the room was always smelling pleasantly of lemongrass. It is also around 10 minutes walk away from the Victory Monument so it is very convenient to get around, there are plenty of restaurants and street vendors for local food if your are a foodie as well , don't worry about getting around for this Hotel. There are a few minor things which can be improved though : 1. Room doors are pretty hollow, so sound from the walkway outside can get pretty loud. 2. Furniture and fittings were abit dated. 3. 32 Inch TV was abit too small for the mini suite if you are the kind who likes to watch TV in bed. Other than the above , I really enjoyed by stay in this Hotel and would recommend this Hotel to anyone , so if you are reading this and wondering if it is worth to stay , yes it is. Cheers to the friendly staff as well !

Satisfied & repeated hotel guest

I like this hotel a lot, this is mine 4th booking & stay at this hotel. Except for the door cannot firmly closed which caused not-so sound proof, overall is good as usual.

With balcony

It was so nice that we were there during midnight and offer us a welcome drink!!! Each room has a balcony. It was really convenient area!!! Recommended

Our second time here

This is our second stayed here with Royal View Resort. Staffs service very good. WiFi very strong and AC running good. Closed to King Power and currency exchange is is next to it. Food stalls and market are close by. Victoria monument Skytrain is closed by. Would recommend anyone to stay at this hotel.

Hotel in a great location

Royal View is a solid hotel choice. It is in a great area, with a lot of food and shopping options. It is also close to the BTS Skytrain and the Airport Express, which are walks away. The staff is helpful, and got me a taxi during the busy rush hour when I had to get to the airport. The room also comes with a balcony, but the balcony is small has no furniture on it, so not really useful except to get a breath of fresh air.

The most friendly staff in Bangkok

The staff are the most friendly and respectful staff I have ever had the pleasure of coming in contact with. We have been to Thailand 5 times in the past 4 years and this hotel is by far the best for your money. I almost didn't want to write this review because it may cause the price to go up. Yeah there is no pool and the amenities are few but this place makes up for in location to mass transit, shopping and food. We have stayed in many hotels in Bangkok, from the JW Marriott to the Majestic Grand and this place blows the competition out of the water. We will be staying here again and again in the future.
