The bathroom sink dripped constantly. The toilet seat was missing a nut on the bolt that holds the seat in place. Every time I picked up the toilet seat, I thought it was going to break off and fall on the floor. Went to the office several times. When it said,"OPEN, Come on In"........there was no one there. The other times I went there was a "We'll Be Back" sign on the door with a cardboard box saying what time they would return. But the loading was clean, quiet and centrally located, So overall it was OK
Fantastic inn
Fantastic place to stay in Redstone! Walkable to everything (including ice cream). Very comfortable room and great place to sit out by river.
Convenient location, but could use some routine maintenance, like getting the sliding screen door put on its track. Also, trash hadn't been removed from previous occupant.
Small room, couldn’t open door all the way due to furniture in the way. No A/C, warm during the day.
1st trip to Redstone
Nice older place, right on the river. Small cabins, very clean with everything we needed. Owner very friendly.
The number one reason to stay here is the river running by the property. The number 2 is that it is clean and includes amenities like dish and silver ware, plenty of towels & a comfy bed. The hosts were not present but they left a key for me to check in. It is a high level motel type of stay in a beautiful spot!
Great location in a part of Colorado we've never hit before. Beautiful
Hot tub was a plus, beautiful location and the right temperature (104 - 105).
Quaint and cute in nice setting.
We enjoyed this cozy room with its own little patio that was pretty private. Unfortunately it was raining so we weren't able to enjoy that. The room was quite chilly and had a wall heater that didn't seem connected to the thermostat but worked, just slowly. The owners should be sure that heat is turned on before guests are assigned to a particular room. There was nice quilt to add to the bed which was comfortable. A quaint place that we would return to.
Quaint little property. Good value for the price. Warm welcome from the owner at check-in. Would recommend.
Walkable to Redstone. Sitting areas on the river. Very wonderful
Bruce was friendly and engaging. He gave us a bit of the history of Redstone and local places to eat. Our room was clean and the property was quiet and peaceful. The seating at the river out back was plentiful and so relaxing. I would definitely recommend and would love to come back! Thanks Bruce for a wonderful stay!
Cute little quaint place to stay. Cozy rooms with a beautiful back drop. Chairs and tables next to the river make it a great place to relax. Note, no cell phone reception but was able to call using wi fi.
A comfortable hotel in a sweet little town.
Beautiful and relaxing. Will stay again!
Great little place. Will stay again.
Cute little place. Spider webs and cobwebs all over the bathroom…. But they were friendly spiders. :-). AC wouldn’t turn on… so slept with screen door. VERY friendly owner.
Very easy to find, easy access parking and super clean quiet rooms. Office shows open, door locked, never saw anyone in office. No instructions how to check in or out, easy to figure out when you see your name on envelope. However if you dont look in mail boxes it would be nice if they would tell you to just pick uo key and drop off when you leave. Most time you wouldn't need anyone but we wanted to extend our stay. It would have been easier for us and Housekeeping not to clean room. we could have stayed in same room. But with noone to talk to, we made another reservation and packed up , left and came back later in day to new room.
This is a lovely property, a bit older but very comfortable and in a beautiful location. Gorgeous area and family friendly.
Wonderful Place to Stay
Redstone Cliffs Lodge never disappoints!
A true hidden gem
We absolutely loved staying at the lodge. It’s right on the river which allowed for peace and solitude. The bed was the most comfortable “away from home” bed that I’ve ever slept on. The owners were quick to answer any questions and make recommendations to us. We will definitely be returning to beautiful Redstone and surely staying at the lodge again!
I would recommend to anybody. What a great place. Wish I had more than one night.
The only problem we had was that the heat didn't come on when it got chilly in the morning. But Bruce, the owner, was immediately responsive and reset the breaker. The little kitchen area is nice and well equipped except for the lack of spoons, which Bruce also provided when notified. So nice to have dishes and mugs instead of paper or the destructive plastic. The location is superb along the peaceful, charming and historic Redstone Boulevard with the beautiful Crystal River behind the property. The bed, comforter and pillows were very comfortable. Our stay was just a quick "get-a-way" from work an hour away, but what a lovely respite! Jeanette
Very clean , cute little area with a pizza place next store and great food at the lodge nearby !
Great place to stay
Was a great place to stay. Very quiet and peaceful
Charming and Comfy
The room was very nice. We enjoyed the slider onto a small porch. We could walk to the river from the room and sit in chairs spread out between the lodge and the river. There were picnic tables and propane and charcoal grills. The room had plates, bowls, mugs, wine glasses!, and eating utensils along with the fridge and microwave, which was excellent. Wish we had known. We could have left some of what we brought home. It was really nice to be able to walk through the town and to the General Store.
We had a wonderful time the facility and surrounded area was awesome
We liked it all - keep up the good work!
Very clean and had a homely feel to it!
Location with the Crystal River flowing in the backyard.
Redstone village is absolutely beautiful. Our room at the lodge was clean and comfortable. Outside the room's back patio were chairs and tables to sit along the Crystal River. The deep dish pizza at the next door Propaganda Pie was delicious. Only negative was the wifi was extremely spotty, sometimes non existent and theres no cell service in the region. If you're looking to relax, this is the place.
Cozy and quiet, would book again.
The unit we stayed in had a small patio out back, which was enjoyable. There are several chairs behind the facility overlooking the river, which is a great area to unwind. The room had great space, a nice kitchenette, with a small fridge. There is not much for restaurants in the area, so it is nice to be able to cook up meals here. Grills, are also provided. A lovely stay with friendly, laid back people.
The property was excellent and as described.
Very nice. Friendly staff. Beautiful area by the river for all to enjoy.
Delightful place to stay when you're attending MARBLE/marble.
Very friendly environment!!!!
This worked out very well for us. We would have liked a fan. In addition, the Folger's Coffee is not very good, a different coffee with some flavor would be nice.
Amazing!
Everything was great. Beds were comfy, room was clean, and amenities were plentiful. My favorite wad the hot tub outside overlooking the river.
Nature at its best
Excellent place to escape the rush of everyday life and enjoy the stream and the mountains. An extra bonus was the spring flowers. Would certainly recommend this place for its location and convenience and warm reception.
This is a really great property. The beds are comfortable, the owners are informative and gracious, and the river and town access are unbeatable. You can walk to hiking trails, restaurants, and local shops.
Beware of the high pet fee that is not disclosed in the Expedia information! The fee was $45 per pet plus tax, so for a single night stay I arrived to the frustrating news that my 2 small dogs would increase the cost by $96! They did email me a few hours prior to my arrival to tell me, which I did not get prior to arrival due to a busy day, but that was too late to be eligible for a refund so I was stuck with the outrageous fee or lose the full ~$190 room cost. The property was very charming and along the river and the room was spacious and well equipped. I would consider staying here again, but only if I was not traveling with pets.
The heater didn’t work and there was a portable heater that was slow to heat. We froze for several hours the first night in bed. Then when I took a shower, the towel I used smelled like dog urine. I stopped and smelled my skin and I smelled like dog urine!! I had to restorer again and my fiancé had to run and get clean towels. It was disgusting!
What a gem! When we arrived our key was waiting for us. The grounds and the room were quaint and very clean. it had everything we needed.
A great location!
Loved everything about Redstone and Redstone Lodge
Friendly little place. Rustic charm with all the essentials. Walls are paper-thin, so bring ear plugs.
We loved our visit at the Redstone Cliffs Lodge. It is rustic but had everything we needed. It was extremely clean and well-maintained, the owners were friendly and accommodating and the bed and seating in the room was extremely comfortable. The outdoor area was amazing...right on the river with lots or seating, a fire pit and a great hot-tub. We loved our stay and will be back!
This is a small roadside motel, nothing fancy. But the room was comfortable, sm frig, microwave as normal, but also some plates, utensils, etc. that you might not expect. Small back patio that backs to a nice stream that runs along that back of the property, very relaxing. Right next store is a pizza/sub/bar for a quick bite that is open until 9:00. Again nothing fancy but considering where you are very convenient. The owner was VERY Nice and provided a ton of information about the surrounding area.
wonderful owner
