The location is perfect , near the lovely building of the Chamonix Mont Blanc station, the picturesque view of the Aiguile du Midi. I find the room too small and too dark ; has no AC. Hence, we had to leave the door to the balcony open at night , fortunately it was quiet. Lovely receptionist Moreover, there is no sink in the toilet which is just not ideal if you think about hygiene. No coffee machine and fridge .

Wifi not available if you don’t have a Euro phone number. I was not able to connect my Apple products.

Pointe Isabelle was a wonderful hotel and super convenient to everything in Chamonix.

Great stay! Loved it.

Very central for dining and shopping experiences; manageable ten minute minimum walk to the nearest ski lift, but necessary to take 15-20 minute bus or train to ski other included areas (ie. Argentiere, Le Ture, Vallorcine, Les Houches, etc.; the hotel staff is quite helpful and disciplined with daily cleaning; convenient ski room for equipment storage and prep. Could use some hot tubs. Hotel restaurant/ bar is good for all meals. Breakfast is classic European continental, but the bread and pastries were very fresh each day. While my experience this first time to Chamonix was standard to good, I’d probably look for another hotel next time.

Disappointing nonTV in the room

Great location near to all the shops railway station and ski bus stops. Lovely rooms cleaned daily. Friendly staff. You can book ski passes at hotel reception

The hotel was perfect for our snowboarding trip. Communication was excellent from the start and all the staff were very helpful throughout. Would definitely recommend for anyone wanting a central Chamonix location.

It was a lovely hotel and was very clean and modern. Would definitely stay again. The only issue was the room was quite hot.

Great location

The hotel is in a fantastic location, the bar area is lovely and boot room really good and accessible if skiing. Really enjoyed it! A few minor issues Breakfast is okay, and the hotel is very very noisy if you are located near the lift (108) the walls are paper thin and can hear neighbours toilets, drawers, doors all night. Rooms are spacious but the shower and bathrooms are tiny!

Very nice hotel, but somewhat spoiled by a cranky young man who waited tables in the restaurant with an air of irritation and a habit of ignoring the tables he was waiting on. Otherwise, the staff were friendly, efficient and helpful. Pity about the young man waiting tables, however.

Lovely place. A little basic but really clean. Didn’t use sauna as was often closed. Views were fabulous but rooms were little noisy

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, making it a perfect place to relax after a day out. The location is unbeatable—just a 1-minute walk from the train station and within walking distance of all the local amenities. The staff were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to ensure a pleasant experience. Highly recommend this hotel for its convenience, comfort, and exceptional service.

Nice place in the centre of the town. Rooms are on the smaller side but our bed was big and very comfortable and the bathroom was very spacious. Balcony and great view of Brevent from our room. Sauna is on the top floor with very nice view of the mountains. The bar and restaurant area are nice and they serve great coffee. We didn’t have breakfast there but instead chose to go out to the nearby bakery. Overall great location and very comfortable rooms.

The staff were fantastic!- friendly, Professional and helpful with your needs. We tried snacks and they were pretty good. The room was clean and beds were comfortable. Very near to Mont Blanc express train station. Suggestion: Safety box in room

Nice place for the location

Never stay here

Never stay here. Extremely loud bumping club music right next door until 1 am. Hotel doesn't care, just offers ear plugs (they have a giant bag on the desk, they could at least warn people). Plus wifi doesnt work in the rooms. They try to blame the weather but it works fine in the lobby and today the weather is clear.

If you’re looking for the perfect view of mom Blanc, one of the rooms with the balcony. One of the best views I’ve had and I’ve been to Chamonix twice.

Comfortable and clean room in a central location

Room was clean and bed comfortable. Sufficient storage and bathroom adequate. Check in staff was friendly. The 3 twin beds room was not too crowded. A plus, hotel is on the route of the free city bus (Mulet) from the bus station. But did not know until after we arrived (may be good to incl. in hotel info). lso note not all rooms are air conditioned. Better check carefully.during summer. It may be hot with one window and a fan. A minor issue, Hotel charged my credit card twice, have to spend time to sort out and we lost small amount $ in exchange rate. Should not happen.

Wonderful and terrific location

Great hotel in great location! Room was perfect. We even had a balcony with a view of the mountains! Staff was helpful. Parking on sight with additional fee. Room rate was great value.

Lovely hotel in a good location. The sauna is a nice touch but barely hot enough to make it worth it. The WiFi was not good 2 out of 3 days and we had to use our day. Would’ve liked coffee in the room as well as a room safe (had to give valuables to desk staff) and shampoo/conditioner. Had to go buy some. But very clean and safe.

all properties are well located in Chamonix as the town is very small. so Pointe Isabelle is very well located too. we had a first floor room so the views of the mountains very very partial as probably the higher floors have a better view. The lady at check-in was fine but the lady that I encountered the next morning was so much nicer. All in all it was a very good hotel and I would stay there again

Really enjoyed my stay. When I checked in, Hugo at the front desk helped me with a few important items like kettle and a table. Despite cold weather, the hotel room was very warm. Breakfast for an extra cost was great and I was able to use amenities like the gym. Unfortunately I didn't get round to using the sauna. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful throughout my stay. Only slight criticism was rainwater came in through open windows as I had a room with a balcony.

Location was excellent

Great location, staff were friendly. The gym is small, but was sufficient. The only negatives, our room had an adjoining door to another guests room, it was very loud. You could hear every word from the other guests, as if they were sharing the room with you. The WiFi didn’t work in the room, only downstairs.

Great location and value in the heart of Charomix. Staff is very accommodating. Modernized, clean, cozy rooms in a historic hotel.

We had 3 nights at this Hotel and everything was great. The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was modern and clean, the trains station is 200m from the hotel which is perfectly situated in the city centre. They came to clean the room every day. All good. Definitely coming back. Yes I recommend this Hotel.

Nicely located in Chamonix downtown. Good breakfast. One drawback is parking as it was fully booked even 1 month before checkin. But I understand it was in early Jan when everybody comes to town to enjoy skiing.

We were there for five nights to ski in the Chamonix area. We found the hotel to be in a great location to catch the transportation and to then be able to enjoy the central city. The staff was very friendly and helpful. There is a nice bar area in the hotel entry. We had a good dinner in the hotel and also had the breakfast several mornings. The breakfast area is very basic but is a good value. We did enjoy visiting with other travelers at the breakfasts. The room is small but worked out if one is organized. We also appreciated the large area for skis and the boot dryers in the lower level of the hotel. We would stay again.

Great hotel. Poorly lit rooms.

Each time we visit Chamonix we stay in the Pointe Isabelle. Lovely hotel with excellent staff. The only complaint would be that the rooms are very poorly lit, meaning the rooms can be dingy. This, as a woman, can make getting ready and applying makeup very difficult. A shaving mirror would be a good idea in the bathroom as trying to apply mascara etc is difficult as you can’t get close to the only mirror with lighting in the room.

So many positives for our stay. Just a short walk from the train stop. The hotel was beautiful. The sauna was relaxing and clean. The staff were very kind and the breakfast buffet was delicious. Will stay again!

Great Christmas at Pointe Isabelle

Great hotel in a fabulous central location in Chamonix near train station and not to far from bus station. We were visiting our son for Xmas and it was beautiful. Great views of the mountains. Staff were so friendly and could not do enough for you. Had lunch in the bistro and it was very good. If visit again will definitely return to this hotel.

Super hotel and location

A great hotel very close to the main Chamonix station. I think my room was designed for disable access so massive, almost a small apartment. Even the balcony was big. Good staff and nice bar and breakfast. No negatives.

Beautiful hotel

Hotel is located in center of town, surrounded by restaurants and shops. And the Front Desk staff are wonderfully helpful, most especially Dani! When we requested a room change, she graciously accommodated our request and, once in our new quarters personally delivered a cell phone we'd left in the first room. And Dani was extremely helpful with providing directions to various sites and advising us about a free mini- bus to the main bus depot in Chamonix Sud. Re: dislikes, our first room looked out on four walls, which eliminated air flow from the 1 window, and since there was no A/C, it felt stifling! I highly recommend requesting a room with a balcony (for air flow as well as view), or one on the 4th floor where rooms have A/C.

Modern facilities in the heart of Chamonix

Room, sauna, fitness, ski storage and location was perfect. Design and athmosphere was really nice. Only breakfast was disappointing. The rest was great. We will come back.

The room I had is very small, especially the shower. I am a small person, but it is hard to stand in the shower without touching the shower curtain. The room looks very old. However, the location is good and the service is good.

Excellent

Our stay was very nice, rooms were very comfortable and clean. Yes the walls and windows are not fully soundproof and there are lots of restaurants around with noise, but the hotel provides earplugs in your room. This is a simple and small touch and really was great. There is no fridge in the room and also no kettle BUT you can ask for a kettle from reception and they will provide this to you. Our bus was late after check out time, but this was no problem to still enjoy the day with a hike. There is a storage room where you can leave your bag and collect once done PLUS there is a shower room which you can make use of to feel nice and refresh before saying goodbye to your vacation. You can also ask reception to provide you (and everyone staying there) for a free travel pass on the trains travelling up and down the valley (get more info from reception or the Chamonix travel office). This is great which means you can explore more hiking routes in the area and not just the ones in Chamonix itself. We did not opt in for breakfast so can't comment on that, but it is available at the on-site restaurant of the hotel. The location is great and we really enjoyed our stay. Thanks Pointe Isabelle!

Nice and clean rooms

One night stay. Good location, near trainstation.

Nice staff and modern building, let down by a baffling lack of air conditioning. After 30 degree days, it’s uncomfortably hot and we even considered trying to sleep on the balcony, because the outside temperature was more bearable. We didn’t sleep well for 3 nights and regrettably, we won’t be returning. Such a shame, because it’s otherwise a nice hotel.

I did not stay at this hotel due to Coronavirus lockdowns. Flights were canceled and airports closed. I will not ask for a refund because the hotel probably needs the money more than me right now.

Lovely hotel in downtown area.

What a wonderful hotel! I've stayed in Chamonix before, and I just assumed that all rooms in town were small, but I was pleasantly surprised when our room at Pointe Isabelle had plenty of space to move around, a lovely bathroom, and even decently sized balcony. The breakfast was reasonably priced and the service was lovely. It was walking distance to so much, even the train station! I would definitely stay again. As others mentioned, it can get noisy on the weekends. I woke up a few times on Saturday night to belligerent folk outside, but that only happen 1x out of the 4x nights of our stay, during one of the busiest weeks of the year.

Pros: - Extremely Clean & modern room - Fantastic Powerful Shower,,, LOVED it (better than some 5* hotels,,, honestly) - Perfect Location with everything around you - Cool & Lively Bar with friendly & attentive bar staff Cons: - 4PM check-in time!!! Realllllllly?!!! That’s half the day gone! plz change this to a normal time - NOISE! especially if you’re on the street side. You get given ear plugs though and they actually help :) All in all though I would go back,,, it’s a nice place (but plz dear hotel management,,, review your check-in time,,, i had never ever encountered a 4pm check-in time anywhere!

Nice hotel,good position for the bars restaurants,short walk to bus stop

The property is in the best location for the quality and price. The staff at the front desk and the bistro were great. The front desk will tell you which passes are cheaper to get based on what you want to do. My girlfriend and I really enjoyed staying here. Only 2 big draw backs for me were no hot tub and pillows could be more comfortable, so bring your own pillow. Very dog friendly hotel.

The hotel was very well laid out with ample space for your ski equipment, the rooms were very comfortable with good showers. The bar and restaurant were excellent, very good atmosphere and service. Location of the hotel was perfect for all the town had to offer.

Great hotel! Excellent food and service coupled with spacious and comfortable rooms. A friendly and laidback atmosphere that comes from the swedish ownership and staff therein. A really great value hotel located smack in the middle of Chamonix with easy access to ski hire, buses, ski slopes and plenty of good advice at reception if you’re unsure (including free bus passes :). We’ll be staying here again for sure.

Right in the center of town and a balcony with mountain views on each side of the valley. Hotel staff very nice and helpful and parking right behind the hotel.

Many reviews said it is very noisy from the street of the hotel. But my stay was very quiet. Maybe I was there on Oct 13 and it was too windy and code to eat and drink on the street.

A nice hotel in a great location, close to many restaurants and just down the street from the train station. No excessive luxury, but has all you need for a pleasant stay. Friendly staff, clean rooms, buffet breakfast, restaurant on the main floor. Only one negative: There is no security safe in the room, to lock up your passport and whatever devices and valuables you brought along.

Not too bad, not too good. Great location but all else, ehhh. If you want to be In the middle of everything, this is the place. Had to park a distance away for 14 euros.

Perfect location, great tartiflette!

We had a great stay here and they were kind enough to look after a smalll bag of ours for a week while we did the TMB. The highlight has to be the food and the bar area! Really enjoyed a well-earned tartiflette the night we finished the tour and the service was great!! Would stay again, the only thing is the room got very hot overnight and it’s right in the centre of town so when you open up the balcony door to cool down it gets pretty noisy! Otherwise though, I can’t failt it!
