I was so excited to spend the night on Phi Phi Island but it turned out to be the worst night of my life. So much garbage on the property of the hotel. The room was absolutely trash. A hard bed, one plastic garden chair that is painted with some gross brown paint, a gross fridge that didnt even cool properly, a small old table, old towels with bleach stains on them, a safe that didn't even work and an air conditioner that cooled and cooled to freezing point. Not even mentioning the loud music until 3am from the hotel beside ours ! Never again! And all for $106 CAD for one night . They should be ashamed charging that price for this horrible hotel !
Seafront room had an amazing view of the harbour and sunset. For the price, the hotel was fine, but it definitely is not a resort. The rooms are very tired, and the pool was gross, very murky coloured we couldn't swim in it (instead we paid to access another hotels pool). Also, we messaged the hotel to help pick our bags up when our ferry got in - they failed to turn up so we had to walk 15mins in the heat with our bags. When we asked them why they weren't there, they just laughed at us. I can see a few other reviews say they experienced this too. Recommend if you want somewhere cheap for a good view, but just have low expectations Hotel was noisy but that's something the whole island will experience.
9/10 Excellent
Really good for the price. Definitely a good place for backpackers like us. Good to stay just if you need a night or two on phi phi, also not a far walk from the pier. The staff was amazing and very friendly. Although we assumed there would be loud music going on all night at neighboring bars, that was not the case! We slept great, it wasn’t loud at all. Property is slightly run down but that’s okay for the price we paid. The view is absolutely beautiful. We also purchased a private long tail boat ride on the property with their private boat that leaves right from the hotel. The captain was very good and took us to all the best spots! Overall we had a great experience staying here.
Accommodation exceeded expectations. Staff were lovely and very helpful. Air con was brilliant Pool area was lovely along with the beautiful views. Fantastic value for money
The location was good - just away from the busiest part of the island. The music is very loud at night, but this is made clear by the hotel. The room is basic but clean.
I'd say manage your expectations. That's not to say its a bad hotel, but it IS bare bones. That said, the view and staff are amazing. Also of note, the beach front clubs will be "uhn-tiss"ing until 2am, and any beach front hotel will be affected by it. It lulled me to sleep though 😅
Everything was great
5 night stay March 2024
What can I say about this place ?! If you’re looking for 5 star luxury this isn’t it, but it’s basic and got everything you need. We stayed in room 26 and the views were spectacular looking out over the bay. The only downside I can put on this place is the noise coming from the beach bars in the evening, the noise is deafening and it goes on until 3am. However you are provided with ear plugs. The people who run this place are very helpful, very welcoming and can’t do enough for you.
After having a few awful experiences with expensive hotels in phi phi, I booked phi phi cozy last minute for a very reasonable price. It says it’s 2* but was nicer than many 4* places I stayed in phi phi. It has a beautiful view, clean room with big bed, small swimming pool with view of the beach. They are adding a boxing / Muay Thai area at the moment. The staff are so lovely and helpful. A big thank you and I would recommend highly to anyone staying in phi phi
Beautiful scenery from my seaview room. The staff were helpful, friendly and efficient!
This was one of the worst “resorts”we’ve ever stayed at for the following reasons: - grossly overpriced for the low level accommodation provided - surrounds were unkempt, pathways extremely uneven, cracked and dangerous. The gardens were dead and full of dead plants and leaves. The pool had no umbrellas for shade. - entry deck to room was unstable, decking boards were rotted. - there was no furniture bar a fridge, bed and table. Nowhere to sit to eat. Air conditioning was gale force and operated randomly, often freezing. The bathroom bin was never emptied by staff and we had to do it ourselves including cleaning the toilet. The shower had no pressure at all with water escaping through a hole in the hose. As well, the shower head did not fit the attachment on the wall and so water flowed to the side. - we were told to place the “make up my room “ sign on the door when we wanted the room cleaned. When returning nothing had been done. Toilet paper and soap needed replacement requiring me to go and ask for it. - the greatest insult of all was being shown a list of items on our arrival which would be charged for such as stealing a towel, marking the sheets etc. The towels were like sand paper. Who would steal them? - all in all it was the longest 5 days and only cost us $135 AU a night. Disgraceful, disgusting and my advice is DON’T GO THERE. - Expedia need to cross this place off its books.
For backpackers only
Funky little place, away from most of the noise and from the crowds of PhiPhi. Staff appeared to be local, so no one was in a hurry, but they were very nice, handled all our questions and requests well, and were wonderfully cheerful.
The room had no tv, the shower was dripping. The veranda was instabil. No cartins. They clean the room after 15:00. When we told them that we want onother room ofcourse they whant moore mony. Exakt the same attitude as 2 years ago. But at that time we booked 1 more night and pay more then the other 2 night! So no moore cozy seafront for us! Next time we stay at view point phi phi!
The pictures posted are deceiving. The room is very unhygienic. The shower does not work properly as it does supply enough water. The lobby is full of dogs. Where the hotel is situated (by the beach) it is very noisy at night and you will not be able to sleep. There is an extra charge for AC and some rooms do not have fans that work properly. We did have a fan in our room with no extra charge but it looked very unsafe and it was making a lot of noise and shaking. There are no proper blankets provides. No room service / cleaning. The only good about this hotel is the view from the balcony. However even the balcony is full of flies, ants and all sorts of bugs.
they tried downgrading our room on check in and hoped we wouldnt realize. then spent an hour fluffing around. finally got into our actual suite. was a beautiful view, but very basic room. Swimming pool was tiny and loads of bugs. Was never told about free breakfast even though it advertised it came with the room. Whole resort in general was very run down and needs some TLC. Pool Table was on its last legs and never saw the restaurant open. Staff werent around when it was time for check out and there was no drop box. Very disappointed
We decided to upgrade our room to a seaview as the room had air conditioning. The view was absolutely beautiful and the sunset was amazing to watch. The noise from the bars by thr beach was extremely loud and I mean extreme - it just echos around the area. This is not a place to stay if you are wanting a quiet couples holiday, this is more suited for the party goers. We had sleepless starts to our night's until about 2 or 3am
This property is in need of a renovation, the rooms were the bare minimum with no frills albeit they were clean. The TV didn't work or one of the outlets and they had limited outlets. The pool was very small and didn't seem maintained well. They do have a nice patio you can sit on with a beer and enjoy the sunshine. Our stay wasn't horrible but probably wouldn't return.
Nice place to stay close to the beach but very noisy at night due to the local bar heavy music until 1:00 AM.
Beautiful view
We had a beautiful biew from our room...though the room had an ant problem and was mediocre. The bed sheets had stains, overall tge room wasnt very pleasant to spend time in, but the view was worth it.
Don't go here unless you are a night owl.
Booked this hotel hoping to get away from the noise from the beach parties. First night I slept for 3 hours. And I'm usually a good sleeper! The music from surrounding hotels and the beach was insane. We were very unfortunate with our "neighbours" too. Parting, drinking, smoking till 2am in the morning. At the hotel. Fortunately, the staff realised this and apologised and moved us to a different room which didn't have bad neighbours. Staff did great. But I wouldn't book here again.
Would stay again but has issues
We started our journey from Phuket to Koh Phi Phi, thankfully staff was waiting at the pier to take your bags to hotel as it is a maze! When we got there we were told our room wasn’t available due to stayers which hadn’t been seen nor checked out but they would put us in another hotel for the evening and return the next day to a free upgrade and extra night stay free of charge. The lady helping us was so so friendly and helpful we couldn’t be happier considering the situation. So the next day we arrived get into our room, gorgeous views overlooking the sea however there was mould on the walls, the bathroom absolutely stank and the steps down to our room were not very user friendly. Throughout our stay we questioned the cleanliness of the pool as it was a very odd colour and opted for the sea instead but walking passed one early morning, we noticed the pool had fungi growing all over it and the staff were simply scooping it out. Not sure if any chemicals had been added. So overall it was ok for the money paid, thankful for the beach but the service was incredible and I thank each one of them. Oh also, the noise is so loud at night. If your a light sleeper and prefer an early night, this hotel is not for you. Noise didn’t bother me as I could fall asleep through it but the parties on the beach are incredibly loud. I do not want to put anyone off this hotel, because I would stay here again i’m just being honest on what I saw.
Great view but the room was just
Room was great not far from Ibiza party which goes most of the night. If you want a view this is great but if you want a great overall stay then maybe go the other side of the island.
The views from place are worth the visit! Good value for money or what is an expensive island for backpackers like us!
decent place
the rooms are basic , nothing flash at all, a bit run down, doesn't matter thou because they are clean and you don't even spend much time in them . But the views from your balcony for the sea facing rooms are great , so easy to relax and have a beer on. worth it just for that. Only issue I had was they only have an American breakfast on the menu , so ended up having to go somewhere else for breakfast every morning
A lot of ants
The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the communal place is okay. The pool is quite small but it looked clean. We chose a rom with a sea viewed and sadly this room was covered in ants. We suffered many bites from these ants during our stay. the room was a bit old and run down however cheap so good for those who don't mind bugs and on a budget.
Love it
Love it Big, new & very confy. Amazing view, swiming pool, good location, clean and fresh towels every day. You don´t have coffe and free water.
Worst experience
Very bad stay, the room was small and dirty as well as the bathroom. We didn't have any water to shower!!! No air con in the room, no proper sheets for the bed. Way too expensive for what you get.
It is a little remote
Very nice stay, staff very helpful potentially lovely quiet spot with good sea views but very noisy because of the nightly beach party. The only way to beat it was to join in!
Not nice
I went to check the hotel before the check in and end it up not even coming back, pictures look way different than reality. I lost the money that I have paid and went to other hotel
So so Cozy
Cozy seaport was exactly what my friends and I wanted! Far enough away from the hustle and bustle of Phi Phi night life but enough to do around it and right near the beach with the most amazing views and hike up to the outlook!! Would definitely stay here again. Only thing I would change is updated rooms and linens.
Room with nice view but lack of facilities
We booked a seaview room for 1 night. The room has a beautiful view of the sea . Wireless is provided for 3 devices but it will automatically logged out after 2 hours and you need to login back. Has a water heater , nice and comfy bed . Other than that no other facilities like fridge, kettle is provided. Overall a pleasant and peaceful stay for 1 night but definitely not worth for the money
It was really good vacation to stay at cozy seafront hotel. Host were nice and friendly .recommend for party animal for stay ..
Wonderful stay!
Cozy seafront was so great! Absolutely perfect view of the bay, and nice to be close to the action yet a little farther from the loud party bars blasting music until 2am. Just a 2 min walk to the main beach with kayak rentals and restaurants. Staff was so happy and eager to answer any and all questions. Great stay!
Sea view
Walk from port hard bed toilet didn't flash well shower ok mosq in room reception helpful and sewage smell all day
mosquito ridden dirty place
not much
Convenient
Our stay was good. We did not spent so much time at the hotel but it is a good hotel and the price is good too. The view from our room was amazing and the staff was friendly and kind since the first day.
Rip-off
The resort is located in the interiors of the main area part of the island (long walk from the pier). They provided us with half size blankets(the ones airlines give it was a blanket from Qatar air)and the bedsheets had holes . No fridge, minibar, no drinking water nor a kettle. Room had mosquitoes and a dead lizard which wasn't cleaned on the second day as well. Pool size is very small and it is not like the one in the pictures. There is no wardrobe (a pole fitted in between the walls ) and only one hanger. The person at the front desk said he was doing us a favour by giving Wi-Fi coupon with password worth 50 baht for free (free Wi-Fi was included in our booking)
wouldn't reccomend
Bad service, agreed to help with luggage back to pier, however no help was provided no-one was even around to check out. Some features falling appart, stood on wooden panneling that had fallen down with nails sticking out. 15 minute walk from pier. Only positive is the view!
Nice, clean and comfortable bungalows with seaview
The bungalow I stayed in was new, so was everything inside of it. The towels were changed daily, and the room was fresh and clean:) I had a dispute with the reception because of my late check out that they charged me for. I understand the reason of the penalty, but I wished they had communicated their terms in advance, or that they had this policy written on a clearly noticeable spot, but it wasn't, so I left with a bitter aftertaste. Overall, I would still recommend these bungalows because they are nice and affordable, they're lovable! ..just be smarter than me to avoid unpleasant surprises:)
Beautiful view
My boyfriend and I arrived on Phi Phi a day later than anticipated as I was recovering from food poinsoning and therefore our Accomodation we had innitially booked went pear shaped so we booked this place very last minute. Upon looking at the different booking sites it appears the accomodation is pretty rubbish throughout the whole island which is such a shame because it's so beautiful. We decided to pay an extra bit more to have somewhere nice,so we upgraded our room to the superior sea view room. On our travels this has been one of the most expensive rooms and you get very little for what you pay for. Granted you have an absolutely stunning view of the sea, but you also have the view of rubbish.. See attached photos. The room is incredibly basic, but it is however very clean. The bathroom had no hot water and it rained heavily into the room through the front door as there is a huge gap?!? The music is rediculously loud from the beach parties so you really must bring ear plugs! Honestly it kept me awake! Aircon worked well. It's in a good location walking wise, easy to get to everything! The staff are friendly. There is also a pool but we did not use it and again with the food! All in all it appears there is just a resounding problem across the island for accomodation and cleanliness and frankly because this place was so clean I really would stay again!
Affordable qualityA***
Prime location for a relaxing trip, with great beaches and nightlife within a 5 minute walk.
Great location
Good location beautiful sights. Staff was always helpful
Grounds beautiful - room not
The overall resort is amazing but my Private bungalow was falling apart at the seams. Only plywood for floor and it was patchy and worn, could have fallen through. Went to the bathroom only to have a giant cockroach crawl over my foot. However the lady working the front is super friendly and speaks English very well. The pool is nice and the view is awesome
Basic bungalow great for party goers
Very basic bungalow in great location close to Beach, nightlife and restaurants. But if you aren't into all night partying then it probably isn't the place for you. Sound travels across water and the music from several bars close by is very loud. Lucky I could sleep through it
Sadly Overpriced
We paid a good amount to stay at this place which was disappointing for the money spent. Although we had a seaview room, it was quite a far walk from the ferry docking location to the resort and a good walk just to hang out at the beach each day. Because of the large rocks surrounding the property, you have to walk away from the beach to get back to it. The place is situated on the far side of the island and the music from bars quite far away make it's way to your room because of the location. We had to wear earplugs every single night. Nightlife is fun but a bit overwhelming.
Only if your aim is to get drunk and pass out
In a dump part of the island with a million dollar view for part of the day. The rest of the day the bay is empty of water and full of trash. The room wasn't cleaned - black hairs all over the floors when we came in. It is a square box with one light bulb and austere white walls. The bathroom stank. If you want A/C you have to pay double.
Noisy and overpriced
Very noisy and expensive option on Phi Phi, we paid £41.50 a night, which is scandalous. If was beachfront and did have a beautiful view, but it was basic. They put us into the second row first, but I asked to be moved and he replied, "oh yes, I've made a mistake and put you into the wrong room." This was after he looked what we'd paid! No fridge, wifi only in public areas, tiny pool. Safe. TV was rubbish. The major factor was the location. The noise was unbelievable until 2am. It's too near the village. If you're out til 2, fine. If not go to another resort on the east coast. Close to the pier, staff met us and transferred the luggage and a hot 15-20 mins following him. Good for shopping and food in the area. Price WAY TOO HIGH!!!
Great view and pool but not so clean.
We stayed in a bamboo bungalow looking straight out on the water - Amazing view! That's where the good things end though. Bed was very uncomfortable, floor sloped badly and was less than solid. The bathroom was ok - so ok in fact that a family of 9 cockroaches also called it home! Oh I forgot to mention they do have a nice pool and the WiFi is ok. Once again the view was great. Shame about the bathroom and bed.
Would definitely go back!!!!
We got a Seaview bungalow and it was fantastic! The young gentleman at the reception was so so lovely, polite and helpful!!!! The resort is away from the village but still very easily walkable, which is nice as it's quiet and you'll get a great view of the entire bay from the Reception/restaurant/pool area or room. Being Phi Phi you will be hearing music from the beach and the bar next door at night until about 1am, but it's not incredibly loud and I doubt you would be able to find quieter in such a great location. It's worth taking a walk along the beach at night anyways just to have a look at the atmosphere and all the fireshows, even if you are not a party person. There is a lovely chilled out bar nearby called the sunflower you should definitely try! The bungalow we were in was very clean and had a TV and safe and got cleaned when we were away, bathroom a little smelly but that's quite a common thing I found out... I would definitely stay there again!
Wonderful but only if you choose the high end unit
Be warned that the reason this resort gets very different reviews is that there is a very big difference between the low end units with fans and the high end units with air conditioning. I booked the lower end which turned out to be a bamboo hut with spaces in between the bamboo and the floor felt like your foot could go through at any time. I am into "rustic" but this was just depressing! They had mosquito nets but I think they were more for all other bugs that were going to be trying to get into bed with you and they had no view at all. They were extremely small and nothing but the floor to put your bags on. We upgraded to the high end sea front unit with air conditioning and we loved these! They are very bright and clean and right on the ocean with amazing views of the bay. They are built around big boulders but they have been cleaned and I thought added some fun character to the room. The room was a lot bigger with a desk etc. We went from depressed to ecstatic. For not that much more money (the view alone was worth it) we had a delightful place to stay. We had also been told a roll away bed could be ordered for a fee for the low end place but that is an error as there is no room at all in the lower (fan only) rooms and the reception just said that you have to be in the bigger air conditioned rooms for there to be enough room for that.
Unforgettable Experience
After only planning on staying here for 2 nights. We ended up staying 5. This place has amazing views and we were lucky enough to have a room right on the water. The staff were so friendly and were always kind. I will definitely be staying here every time we visit Koh Phi Phi.
Worth a try for something different
Nice little beachut. They do not overlook the beach as the description suggests, but still something different. The rooms are not the cleanist i have seen. The water in the shower is cold and never gets warm. Also be warned that you can hear all the music from the beach, which goes on til 2am. Otherwise a pleasant stay.
Great place to stay
Great little spot. I would recommend to anyone who wants to be close to the town but still far enough that you can get a nights sleep as phi phi has loud music at night. Rooms are clean and spacious and the staff are all really friendly and very helpful if you want to book anything. The views from the rooms are amazing also!
The best bungalows and location
Incredible bungalows! The island is very small, and with the hotel on the out skirt of the centre, youre close enough to walk, and far enough to sleep because the centre can be very loud.
Terrible
Room was filthy. Staff were rude and unhelpful. Would never go back or recommend to anyone
Basic
Staff friendly, very accommodating. Reception lost a friends' booking, but were good about rectifying. Actual rooms (standard, "sea view") were very basic huts - gaps along the floors and doorways, open window in the bathroom that let insects in, and view actually partially obstructed by cement block of deluxe room in the foreground. Opt for the safety box/hot shower. Linens on one of the beds dirty. Mosquito nets v effective, though; no bites all night.
Left after 1 night...
My boyfriend and I booked to stay at the Cozy Seafront Resort for 4 nights. When we arrived on the island we walked through loads of people holding up signs for the different hotels who were expecting guests to arrive. As Phi Phi island does not have cars on it these people transport your bags and/ or show you how to get to the hotel. No one from Cozy Seafront was there to meet us and no one we asked had ever heard of it which meant we were walking around for about an hour until we found it. There are no signs for it anywhere on the island even though there was a big sign pointing to all the hotels that were in the same area as it. When we arrived we were given a choice of 2 villas which was nice; however, the room we chose was hot and stuffy (you were fined 3000 baht if you left the air con on) and full of Mosquitos. The sheets and towels had a lot of stains on and did not look or smell clean. The bathroom had a big stain on the floor and there was a rock that had been built around in the corner... The only saving grace was the beautiful view of the bay, but we could not enjoy this properly as the little balcony we had I don't think had ever been cleaned and was covered in rotting leaves and ants. As well as this, at night time the noise from the club on the beach is so loud you can't sleep. Really disappointed and definitely would not recommend it.
Sehr spartanische Unterkunft.
Pessoal busca no pier.
Grei valuta for pengene
Thank you so much for this nice journey in Cozy it was amazing!!
Intet at klage over
Good view from pool
Nice, cozy hotel. Rooms are simple but very good. The pool has amazing view of the island and ocean!
The room is so clean & good service .

magic view
Beautiful view and simple accomodation. It is pretty aged and noisy at night from music 400m away as described but the ear plugs provided helped a bit. Very friendly staff.
