The property is very lovely and has quite a history. The room was nice and the separate pool welcoming. The meals were good - breakfast was great and dinner delicious. We would stay here again.
Pure Heaven
One word. Amazing. This is the place to stay for every aspect of your vacation.
The Pavilion is a beautiful property once you get inside. Doesn’t look impressive from the street but when you enter it is an oasis of tranquility. Excellent service and beautifully laid out. Getting a room with a private pool was worth the extra cost.
Stunning property in a fantastic location near the palace . The food was excellent and you are just as well to eat there as it is very reasonable and delicious…
Beautiful hotel and lovely staff
Very good service from check in to departure.Especialy front desk personnel. Special mention for Chana, the trainee desk person.
The pools were gorgeous. The tropical gardens a delight. The breakfast a joy, and the staff a cut above all round! K and D from Australia
Staff are attentive, accommodating and friendly. The restaurant was amazing. Breakfast and dinner options were superb.
This property is like a hidden oasis in a big, noisy, petrol fume filled city. The minute you walk behind their gates (manned with a security guard at all hours), you instantly leave the city noise and harshness behind. My room even came with an unexpected private patio. The breakfast that was included daily was so delicious and the best way to start the day. Staff was beyond hospitable and really appreciated all their kindness during my stay.
Beautiful gardens
Great property, great central location, large room, friendly responsive staff
Beautiful quiet oasis
We loved this hotel. It's adults only & very quiet. It's almost hidden from the street! We stayed 3 nights & I would definitely recommend. The two pools are lovely & the complimentary tea/coffee in ghe afternoon by the sun pool was a nice touch. We ate here 2 nights & the food was lovely ; reasonably priced. They seem to be changing over to QR code ordering which was ok for dinner but a faff at breakfast when there were so many variables. In the end we ordered with the waiter for breakfast. The only slight downside is that our room was starting to look a bit tired but it was very clean & overall the hotel was lovely
Breakfast was excellent. Comfy bed. Beautiful garden. Helpful staff
As soon as you enter the gate front the street you are engulfed in serenity. The lush greenery around the front pool is very inviting. The staff are all extremely helpful and ready to assist with any tour bookings. The breakfast is good. Not sure about the other meals since we didn’t eat there.
Fantastic calm place, a refuge from the busy chaos of Phnom Penh. Staff very helpful and I wish I had stopped longer
An oasis in the middle of mayhem! The resort had 2 pools but we swam a lot in the sun pool. So peaceful in the middle of a city. Loved the resort and buildings, so beautiful. Our room was huge but I didn’t realise when i booked it that the studio room had no outdoor patio or terrace or area so look into different room types. Staff were nice but not exceptional. Much better quality of service at other hotels within cambodia. Maybe they are shy or undertrained, but we did notice this. Cocktails good and reasonably priced at happy hour.
Beautiful hotel. Friendly, extremely helpful staff. Delicious breakfast. We loved everything about this place.
Beautiful and quaint hotel. Lovely pools.
Excellent quiet clean oasis inside the city Center. Two beautiful pools and the staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was included. tuk Tuk drivers available right outside to take you where you want to go, but walkable to the royal palace and waterfront if you can manage the heat and the roads.
This really was our little haven from the chaos of Phnom Penh. Beautiful setting, so many plants and trees you could forget you were in a city. We had room with jacuzzi which was a great way to relax after sightseeing and location was an easy walk to a variety of eating and drinking options.
place to stay. Peaceful, elegant and relaxing.
Hotel property is good. Gated hotel with good security. Extremely helpful, friendly staff. Room is good but the shower cubicle is so small, it is a challenge to enter and exit the shower cubicle
Everything was perfect
A must in PHN, best ever
Beautiful setting within minutes of the Independence Monument, Royal Palace and great restaurants. Good breakfast and meal options. Friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful pools. We really enjoyed our stay!
A lovely property in a convenient location. Fantastic service.
Loved staying at The Pavilion. Helpful, friendly staff in a gorgeous hotel. Two pools with a bar by each pool.
The best hotel we have stayed in on our month-long trip. So beautiful and perfect.
Fantastic
Super nice staff, grounds and food and I’m fussy.😄
Great place.
The pool and room were dreamy.
A Garden Oasis
We enjoyed our time at the Pavilion, it is a very beautiful old colonial building which used to be a Cambodian Queens summer house. The staff were very attentive and caring towards our every need. The pool areas are lovely and well maintained. The location is great and only a well price tuk tuk away from many of the cities attractions. Only downside were the beds were a little uncomfortable and breakfast a little disappointing in quality. Overall very happy to recommend.
Loved it here. Beautiful staff, close to everything. Great pools.
A beautiful, quiet spot to relax after a long day exploring the nearby sights. The staff are extremely friendly as well.
Pavilion is actually four 1920 homes converted into a hotel. The rooms are comfortable and spacious, and the hotel has beautiful Cambodian decorations. It has two pools surrounded by a lot of greenery.
Friendly and professional staff, large room with small garden was a plus. Literally an oasis in the middle of the city, quiet, well decorated
A spotlessly clean hotel… set back from street in lush tropical gardens. The restaurant, set next to one of the large swimming pools served a fantastic complimentary breakfast and food all day. I had a room with a private pool! The staff were extremely friendly and always helpful… recommending great restaurants in the neighborhood. I shall return!
Truly one of the best...
This hotel is truly excellent, a real oasis in the heart of Phnom Penh. Quiet, luxurious yet close to everything. Two gorgeous yet different swimming pools. Love children but no children allowed which make this place especially quiet and low stress. The staff are amongst the best we have had the privilege to stay with, friendly and super helpful yet unobtrusive and plenty of them to cater for our needs. The spa is good and the therapists great at helping you to relax - ask for "Dalin" she is one of the best we have experienced at any hotel. Stay, you won't regret it!
Pavilion is a simple, clean, adult only property with friendly and accomodative staff. We checked in late at night. It was hot in Phnom Penh with over 100 F temps. The room on the top floor was hot due to the staff forgetting to switch on the a/c. When they turned it on, realized that it was broken. They immediately moved us to a larger room on the ground floor and also gave complimentary spa massage coupons. It is a relatively small facility. The breakfast is included. Food choice is limited and the taste is average. Bar is average. Massage is below average. The location is very convenient to many sight seeing spots. If you want a clean, quiet, green place in the middle of the city with friendly staff and no bells and whistles, choose this cute place.
The workers were quite humble, hardworking, and efficient. The lounging areas were nice. The suites were spacious but the size and condition of the shower was quite disappointing. I am not a big person and I found it too tight. They dont supply washcloths. The tv channels were limited and the picture wasn’t clear and crisp. The included breakfast was wonderful and you can order as much as you like. There was not much to do in the area and the neighborhood was little grimy outside of the walls of the hotel. Overall, I’d give the Pavillion an 8/10.
A hidden gem in Phnom Penh
What a fantastic hotel!! Hiden away behind the bustling streets of Phnom Penh, the Pavilion really is a gem. The cold pool was welcome after a hot and humid day out and the perfect place to spend a few hours lazing around - the sun pool was also divine. Good food in the restaurant, comfortable and quiet room - I just wish we could have stayed longer.
Exceptional
Fantastic 3 day 2 night stay. Just everything was superb, especially all the staff. Breakfast excellent and plentiful with a wide choice. Will definitely stay again. Thanks to all the staff for making our trip perfect.
The hotel is a tranquil hideaway within the city. There are two pools: one in the shade and one in the sun. The staff were prompt with cleaning the rooms, provided refills of bottled water daily. Reception were helpful with planning excursions of the city. Transportation was accessible as tuk tuks are parked in front of the hotel. There are also some restaurant's within a few minutes of the hotel. Will return here on my next visit. Highly recommend.
What a fabulous haven, an oasis off the busy streets. Old colonial building with a modern twist. Absolutely wonderful staff and fabulous friendly service, great breakfast and immaculately clean. Our favourite hotel in our two week trip round Vietnam & Cambodia. Thank you.
The staff here are one of the best we have experienced throughout our world travels. The property is also so zen like and peaceful. It is within walking distance of many attractions. Would highly recommend.
What a welcome respite from the chaos of the streets of Phnom Penh! You literally step off the street into a lovely garden that is only steps away from the business of Phnom Penh but feels so relaxing. The rooms were lovely, spacious and very comfortable. The staff was so welcoming and helpful. Tired as we had just arrived we had dinner at the restaurant overlooking the pool, and it was a perfect way to begin our trip. We highly recommend this hotel!
Gorgeous place w beautiful furniture and decoration. Marvellous garden and I loved my private pool. Breakfast was tasty and served by the pool.
Beautiful property in a great location. Great food and massage too. Highly recommend.
Unlimited breakfast was excellent. Hotel grounds is covered by beautiful lush greens / tropical plants with several areas to lay down and relax
Charming hotel.
Charming hotel in a great location. Nice poolside restaurant and attentive friendly staff.
It’s a magical, silent, refreshing jungle oasis in the centre of a busy, hot, dusty city. Would live there if I could.
The property is gorgeous, so Zen and peaceful. Staff was very nice. Had a fabulous massage, highly recommend, cocktails and food were very good in the restaurant❤️.
Royal stay
This little (big) oasis in the wild city of Phnom Penh is a jewel. The hotel has two very different swimming pool settings and both are special on their own. The staff is extremely attentive, friendly and helpful. Staying there ‚the whole day‘ is very tempting. I felt like a queen…. The main building was originally built for queen Kossamak
Colonial era preserved with modern conveniences. We loved leaving the busy chaos of the city behind as we walked through the entrance gate into a peaceful, zen space centered by a pool surrounded by trees and other vegetation, feeling at least a few degrees cooler than on the street outside the walls.
Lovely antique type property tucked behind a door in a wall off the main road that opens into an another world depicted as a jungle type oasis. Calm and quiet enchanting ambiance, thoroughly chilled. Has a colonial appearance from the foyer to the rooms. Short tuk tuk journey to the riverside and restaurants or a casual 15 min walk that you can take in the sights such as the grand palace, etc. an enjoyable three night stay and would visit again.
The 2 pools are beautiful. The property feels like an oasis in the heart of the city. You can walk to the Royal palace and Mekong river and many other attractions. Staff very friendly and property well maintained and clean. We've stayed here twice and would stay again.
Good experience
Unbelievable oasis …absolutely gorgeous , staff were perfect helping us with everything we needed, food, trips, taxis … I was so sad to leave !
The staff was wonderfully attentive and universally friendly.
A beautiful oasis
Our Pavilion stay was exceptional. A little oasis in central Phnom Penh. We only wish our schedule had allowed us to extend our stay. Beautiful buildings with interesting history, wonderful staff, very comfortable rooms & a relaxing poolside dining area. Thank you for your hospitality
Lost in Phomn pehn
Very good location. While being right in it it provide an oasis.
Excellent Relaxing Experience.
Beautiful hotel in great location. Staff were warm and welcoming. The poolside restaurant was great. Room was clean and spacious.
The staff were friendly and courteous. Made sure I felt welcomed and appreciated.
Great hotel with amazing staff. Close to all the big attractions. Rooms are great.
Comfortable, clean, convenient - gem of relaxation
Luscious green space in the heart of the city. Quiet and peaceful. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Comfortable bedroom and spacious bathroom. Clean and well stocked with minibar, toiletries, towels, robes, speaker and extension cable. Our private pool was a good size for a couple. Though the loungers were a little cramped in the corner. Two sahred pools available for guests. Breakfast poolside had a good variety and unlimited ordering a la carte. Room service also available. Complimentary tea/coffee poolside in the afternoon. Spa by appointment but we didn’t utilise this. Great location for shopping, f&b, tourism and transportation (Tuk tuk outside hotel almost always). Will stay again.
This is an amazing hotel from the courtyard, the pools, the restaurant, and the rooms. All are top notch. The staff are incredible as well. Hotel is close to most of the attractions, there are tuk-tuks right outside but if you want to walk most of the attractions and city are within walking distance. This is a definite must stay if you are in Phnom Penh.
Fantastic customer service from the moment we arrived.. could not do enough for us during our four night stay with them. Such a great location and lush hotel grounds. Thanks for an amazing stay!
The was a hiddem gem in Phnom Penh. We upgraded to the jacuzzi room and had a very private and spacious area. Highly recommend.
Great staff, super friendly, clean, quiet, great pools & awesome architecture
A
This property is central to all tourist attractions. Very safe. Staff are excellent and rooms are big and air conditioned. Food is great. Definitely worth the value and would stay here again. 2 swimming pools
Was the Pavilion perfect? Yes!!! My fiancé and I stayed in a room with a private pool and it was one of the top hotel rooms I’ve ever stayed in. The hotel was beautiful, the two pools were gorgeous, and the private pool for our room was better than any website pictures make it appear. Our stay was literally perfect in every way. We will absolutely be back. Thank you!
Loved this hotel from the 2 lush pools to the relaxing atmosphere and welcoming staff. It’s like an oasis in a bustling city
This is one of my favorite hotel stays ever. It manages to be both centrally located and feel like a peaceful oasis. I booked a room with a private pool and it was absolutely incredible to be able to go back to that after a day of sightseeing.
Oasis in the Heart of Phnom Penh
Loved everything about this Hotel. As soon as you enter the entrance gate you are in such a different world. Wish I could have stayed longer!
Phnom Penh is a busy city and this place is a little paradise tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the town. I would definitely stay here again if I visited. The staff are exceptionally helpful, the rooms and furniture beautiful.
Staff was very courteous and respectful.
Unique hotel that’s was everything we needed during our stay in Phnom Penh. Room was abit small for our liking but good enough for 3 day stay. Pool was perfect & drink/food options delicious.
My second stay at this property, which is a lovely and tranquil oasis in the middle of lots of attractions and famous traffic congestion. Getting here during rush hour takes time and fortitude. There is no off-street parking, but if arriving by hired transport, walking through the small entryway quickly transports you away from chaos and into the lush pool area and memorable accommodations. Professional staff, with a very good kitchen and menu if you want to cocoon and enjoy the peace.
Great central location but quiet and super comfortable with beautiful gardens and pools. Food was great and the people working here were helpful and friendly. Can’t imagine a nicer place and very reasonably priced as well.
Absolutely beautiful place…I wish I had longer there
Strongly recommend!
The hotel and its pools are simply beautiful. Quiet but in the middle of the city. The staff was very helpful and never tried to sell anything. Considering to stay another night in Phnom Penh before leaving Cambodia just because I liked this hotel so much.
Touring Cambodia
What a fabulous hotel. Lovely staff fantastic rooms and two lovely pools set in lovely gardens. This is one of the best hotels I have stayed in
Very nice older hotel
The hotel is made from renovated
The hotel property is really nice, lovely garden, pools and lobby. The room We booked was lovely and spacious, great private pool, nice bed and ac and ceiling fan. The only downsides in our stay was that the room and private pool border the Street with only a wall in between so avoid if you're sensitive to traffic noise, and that the hotel has only glass water bottles in the rooms, and strangely will not provide bottles to take with you on tours (which every other hotel We went to in cambodia does...). Otherwise very nice.
Had a quick 2 night stay here. Nice hotel setting, comfortable large clean room. Booked a ground floor room but was given a room on the second floor; nice big balcony with this room but seemed a bit on the dark side inside the room. The hotel provided airport pickup service, and booked our driver for the day tour to the Genocide museum, killing fields, and the Russian market. Unfortunately did not have enough time to enjoy the 2 pools. Breakfast was sufficient. The only negative comment is the clunky ceiling fan in our room…But wouldn’t impact my review of this nice hotel.
Oasis of calm
Lovely warm welcom attentive staff. Very clean environment. Two pools one in sun one in shade. Some of the rooms also had private pools. In ghe centre of town and not far from bars and other eateries. Some of the sites may be walkable from this hotel. It is an oasis in a very busy city, but in the hotel it feels like you are a world away.
Beautifully maintained heritage buildings, lush, mature gardens, amazing pools. An oasis in the heart of PP
Friendly staff, clean and convenient location.
Tropical Bliss
A gorgeous hotel surrounded by tropical plants and some old world charm. Our room was very spacious and the balcony with overlooked the main pool was beautiful! Very friendly staff, nice good and great location!
The room wasn’t checked. There was paper about bar closed left from previous day. Halt eaten pouch of nuts. Toilet broken I asked to be collected from airport but didn’t arrive. However They gave me a complimentary drink and paid for travel back to airport
We arrived late and the original room we were allocated was small and AC did not work. We made a complaint nicely to reception and upgraded us to a wonderful suite overlooking the pool. Huge room with good AC. Felt "colonial" and relaxing. We were also guven a complimentary airport transfer which was a nuce touch. A lovely place to stay and relax. Thank you
The rooms, pools and restaurant area are amazing and the staff can be very helpful as long as you ask them for help. I feel they could have been maybe a little more nice and accommodating at times, but good enough. It was apparently the Kings mothers house at one stage so it is very nice old fashioned styling. However, when we were there the construction was on and it was quite loud all day. The only compensation was a free drink. I feel that there is more that could have been done, because if I had known in advance I probably would have stayed elsewhere. Mainly because I was at the tail end of my trip where I just wanted to drink cocktails at a pool but the noise was pretty bad, so I just wanted out during the day. Additionally, the bar they said was at the pool was closed while I was there. So if I wanted a drink, I had to get out the pool and go to the restaurant. Not really what I had in mind when booking. One of our group also had to change to one of the budget rooms for a night because his A/C broke, which I guess happens, but they werent very apologetic.
Great Hotel
Very nice and unique hotel.
Beautiful little oasis in the middle of Phnom Penh! Drinks at the bar and food were good. Diverse bunch of international travelers. We are already planning to return!
Some highlights and some lowlights
We overall thought this was an okay hotel for Phnom Penh. The rooms are on the smaller side and we could hardly open our two luggages at the same time. Also, the rooms look a bit run down especially in the bathroom. Plus points for the free minibar that was even refilled with beer and soft drinks during our stay. Staff was friendly overall and the daily cleaning was very well done. We properly enjoyed the sun pool after we found it as it was really pretty, big and mostly empty. The “gym” on the other side doesn’t really deserve that name. We made a bit of a mistake by booking the more expensive pool room. The pool “area” itself is really dark, the sun chairs almost don’t fit the tiny space around it and the pigeons on the roof as well as the heavily growing plants make the water rather dirty from noon onwards. The water also smelled too much like chlorine and overall not worth swimming in. As a result, I dipped only once quickly and then we kept going to the sun pool. Highly recommend to save the extra money and go for a regular room, ideally with a terrace and larger layout on the upper floor. Don’t book the pool or jacuzzi rooms. Hotel area is overall nice and central. Walking distance to Bassac Lane and right next to Royal Palace (which was unfortunately still closed due to covid).
