Lovely hotel, decent breakfast with good options. Nice facilities in the hotel and the pool area is good for families and children.
Fab stay, very clean and great staff
The hotel is in a good location, close to the beach but also close to the main strip too. The pool area is fabulous, clean and plenty loungers. The staff around the pool are so attentive to your needs, happy to help when needed, nothing is a bother. Buffet meals have a good variety and they cater for meat eater, vegetarians and kids too. Tasty food which at times is hard to find at times when all-inclusive. The hotel is very clean, cleaners come to your room every day if you wish, change the towels and bedding if needed too. The manager was happy for us to have a longer check out time with no extra cost too, as we werent leaving till 6pm. Very very clean. Only slight negative was the decor in the room as it needed refreshing, cupboards needed changing but because of COVID this may have stopped them doing this. Hotel is a 3* but slight adjustments could see this hotel 4* and it has the potential to become a 5*. Would definitely go back next year. Thanks for a fabulous stay.
Good for the price
Overall the stay was above average. The mattresses in our room seemed dirty and a couple of stains. I feel the hotel and pool area needs an update, although reception area and restaurant is nice. Drinks at the bar were not great. A lot of the time the beer tasted like water and was very flat. For the price we paid we were more than happy with our stay
Good value for money
Nice location, clean and very good value for money. I would certainly book it again !
Very happy with service and location of hotel.
Friendly staff and clean, food also good and Overall very good value for money.
The staff is friendly, all inclusive Is good enough, cost-competitive.
Great stay
Great stay lovely pool. Staff were excellent as were the services. Great location close to pernera. We had a great stay
The room was old and not really inspring. The air conditioning was very loud and made it difficult to sleep. There were very few parking spaces which resulted to many cars parking at a vacant lot right next to the hotel. The breakfast situation was not handled well at all; people were allowed to eat in without masks, but also to serve themselves at the buffet without a mask (they did provide hand sanitizer and a sign which no one really followed and there was no employee or attendant enforcing any of the social distancing rules or managing the queues to make sure Covid 19 is not spreading). The ladies at reception were very friendly and accommodating. Overall a mediocre experience but at least it did not break the bank
Papouis Hotel
We had a lovely stay, and will be visiting again soon. Rooms dated but very clean and bed is comfortable. Food was as good if not not better than some 5* I have visited. Hot food was hot. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Sun loungers need to be cleaned regularly as dirty and bins around pool needed emptying as they were still full from the previous day. Thank you
Very pleasant stay
Very pleasant stay. There was a problem with the air-conditioning but it was reported to management and they will look into it. (The AC would only work if the bathroom light was on). The hotel adhered to covid-19 restrictions very well and did their best for it not to interrupt your enjoyment meals took a little longer but again they did their best by putting extra staff on to avoid delays.
weekend break
Pool area was good. Room was dated. Food was nice, but you have to que and wait for a member of the kitchen team to serve you from the Buffett due to restrictions. Outside meal times snacks were available. Staff were friendly. Overall pleased considering it only cost £190 for 2 nights AI for a family of 4.
Terrible experience
When we tried to check in the hotel they told us that the hotel was overbooked and we didnt have a room even thought the website hotels.com let us make the reservation and we got a confirmation as well. This is unacceptable from both the hotel and your website side since we were left without accomodation with no earlier notice!
In desperate need of renovation
We booked AI at this hotel in October. On arrival it looked as though the hotel was very busy the reception area was full- only later did we find out that it was a student conference. They were there for three days and having no conference facilities, they were using the whole reception area in the day and in the evening they used the whole of the bar area. So much so that we felt that we had to move as we were in the way. The hotel itself is a Thomas Cook basic. They have spent money doing up the reception area but beyond that this is a very old hotel with many faults. The family room was ok but not really enough space for the double and two singles they had squeezed in. We booked a 5 night stay and on the 4th night were in formed that the hotel was closing the next day and we were being moved down the road. It transpired that it was not down the road but instead the other end of Ayia Napa. We should not have been allowed to book this hotel for time length that we did. The food on the last evening was horrible and there were no children's options. The breakfast on the last day contained mouldy sausages. We asked to move immediately and went to the new hotel who... didn't have our res. And would not allow us AI there until 12.30 therefore we lost half a day (a full day counting the night before) of our AI. To be honest though, we did not get the full AI in the first place as there was less than half the advertised options available. Without renovation I would avoid!
Anywhere else put this place in Protaras.
Extremely tired hotel in bad need of renovation. Everything in the room was half broken, the curtains were in risk of falling of the ceiling because the rail was in a rotten piece of wall (looked like some water had leakage from above), missing screws, hooks on the wall etc. If that wasn't bad enough it was also particularly dirty in the room. Had we stayed for more than one night, I would have complained big time. For the short time I couldn't be bothered. The rest of the hotel looked very tired too, from the pool to the restaurant (I spare you the hygiene details... ) etc. In fairness it has to be added that it is the end of the season but I really hope they invest a fair amount to make this hotel worthwhile staying - not that I have any intention what so ever to ever return there. Location is also not great, next to a forgotten waterpark (that allows for some interesting gloomy pictures) and a construction site, makes it less pleasant to walk to the center of Protaras.
Good hotel at great price
Excellent value for money, we booked bed and breakfast in October. Good location. Good facilities. Friendly staff. A little basic in the rooms but fair for the price.
Too warm in room. A/C too weak. Fans added but it didn't help.
Very nice and convenient hotel
Very nice and convenient hotel in Pernera. Quiet, family friendly and with excellent service hotel. All inclusive worths the money. 10 min drive to Protaras strip.
Best holiday
Staff really friendly, rooms really clean, food exceptional really tasty and good selection and always hot. Great bar menu all cocktails included on the all inclusive option. Pools OK bit small and deep for young children and not many beds available as loads of people reserve them when they shouldn't. Evening entertainment was good great for kids little disco every night. Bingo then a show. Also entertainment in the day time pool fun was always good. This hotel deserves 4 stars not 3. Really enjoyed our stay would definitely go back.
Great hotel for families.
First of all I have to say the staff were amazing, from the check-in to the bar-staff to the dining hall staff, they were always smiling and willing to help. All inclusive was great, plenty of choice and with great variety of Cyprus cuisine as well as other Mediterranean style choices. The pool area is fantastic with deep pool for adults (and confident swimmers) and great little shallow pool for children. The daily and nightly entertainment for children is fantastic. Only a short (10min) walk to the beach and about 15mins walk to Fig Tree Bay. Will definitely be going back and would definitely recommend to others. The only negative is people smoking around the pool. Very happy.

Nice Clean and great staff
The hotel was very nice with fantastic welcoming staff. The location was good, clean and a really nice place to spend holidays. Had an issue with the temp room but I was switched immediately. Not too far from the nicest beaches. I will definitely stay there again.
