The staff was truly amazing from the time of arrival. Pamela was amazing with welcoming us to the hotel. The brunch was beyond my expectation. The beautiful hostess Katerina is truly a breath of fresh air, she is so welcoming. The pool area great staff Smaragda and Georgia made our time there so comfortable.

5 STAR! INCREDIBLE!

Five star hotel, 5 Star service, 5 Star amenities. 5 Star staff. Everything was just incredible! Everyone pampered us from the minute we arrived until we departed! Absolutely beautiful and amazing! Thank you for everything. We had a room with a private pool and we were upgraded for free to a mini suite that was elegantly decorated in classic Greek style! Will always remember this stay! We also enjoy the spa with a facial and massage! Food was great, views amazing!

Excellent 5 star resort! Quiet resort but transport to beach, Mykonos town and other hotels in the myconian resort was readily available on request! Never waited more than 5 minutes for mini bus. Fantastic holiday.

I was seeking a place to unwind and relax after a busy work schedule. This was exactly that. The staff were personable and wonderful in all areas. Loved the beach also and water was clear with lots of fish to see. Will definitely return when I need to next re charge.

Just perfect

Absolutely loved our stay at Myconian Avaton! Such a beautiful hotel! The rooms are spectacular, and the views are breathtaking. Being away from Mykonos Town was perfect for us as we wanted to relax away from the noise. The hotel provides a free shuttle to Mykonos Town, which is super convenient. The only issue is that if many people need to get to the city and the bus is full, you need to wait for the next one. The ride to the city takes around 40-50 minutes. Additionally, there's a free shuttle to a private area on Elias Beach with free sunbeds. The beach area is lovely and private. If you're looking for the party scene at Elias, it's a short walk from where the shuttle drops you off. Overall, we had an amazing time and would definitely stay here again!

The management and staff are attentive and accommodating. Our room clean and received excellent service. I will definitely return.

The cleaningness was amazing. Housekeeping came to clean the room at least once a day sometimes even twice and replenished towels and waters. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Best vacation so far. I would definitely visit this hotel again. Oh and breakfast was amazing as well, it was included in the rate.

Absolutely loved our stay at Myconian Avaton! Such a beautiful hotel! The rooms are spectacular and the views are breathtaking. You are away from Mykonos town with this hotel, we wanted this as we wanted to relax away from the noise. However, they have a free shuttle that takes you to Mykonos town which was super convenient. Also, free shuttle down to private area down to Elias beach with free sunbeds. Again, the beach area is nice private area. If you’re looking for the party area of Elias, you can walk down the beach and head to that area very easily from where the shuttle drops you off. Would definitely stay here again!

Very nice hotel, beautifully designed, nice view, clean, nice and caring staff. We have room with private pool and beautiful view. Hotel Have private beach with full service. Defiantly would like to come back.

Hotel clean, quiet and picturesque. Service in restaurant and from bar staff very good, quick. Reception staff can be hit and miss. Hotel has a shuttle to town which is great and runs throughout the day. Only downside was not being able to have late check out- not something they do without you booking an extra night. You are still able to use facilities and there are shower rooms in the spa. Stay was pleasant.

Superb hotel made better by the amazing staff

Really decent stay in a very excellent hotel. Many thanks to the top hosts including the manager, Marios, who goes out of his way to make sure his guests have the best experience. Recommended and the views are stunning. There's a few minor wear issues in the rooms, but there's room upgrades coming - you can get a sneak peak with the new Mystique Suites which look stunning.

It was our fist time visiting Greece, needless to say the Islands. We were automatically upgraded. The suite was Beautiful and the views Priceless. They were meticulous with their response and making sure transportation was available for airport pickup, to town, to the port if you were visiting the other island, and back to the airport. Room service was available until 11:00pm and breakfast was included. I cannot say I was disappointed in any way. Thank goodness we went in October, just out of the Peak Peak season.

Very modern & beautiful

The ENTIRE Staff was awesome. They were very punctual and hospitable. They all went above and beyond to make sure that we enjoyed our stay. 5 star hotel with a 5 star staff. I would definitely recommend this resort to any and everyone.

Laundry service was off for pick up. We did not get to use jacuzzi due to it having too much clorine. We spoke to mgmt but nothing seemed done. Gym was small & under construction. Spa service was not clear, we had multiple staff just walk into room without knocking.

Stayed 8 nights-July 5th to July13th 2022. Great experience overall. The beach, the hotel, the pool-music DJ, staff, food and service was fantastic. We will stay there again

It's a beautiful hotel with great staff, beautiful views, good food and fairly close to a lovely beach. But the main town of Mykonos is quite distant and the only transportation, which was provided by the hotel, was infrequent.

The hotels were excellent. Loved being able to visit the various bars / restaurants. The sushi restaurant at Myconian Imperial is an absolute must! We did prefer the pool at Imperial aswell so spent a lot more time down there. Gorgeous views from avaton and really lovely food, order the octopus at Avaton. Staff are amazing, haven’t had that level of good customer service in a very long time.

The resort is gorgeous, staff very friendly and helpful. They helped us arrange a photoshoot prior to our arrival which ended up being an amazing experience. The room 9031 is huge and has a great terrace with hot tub (which wasn't working the first day but was fixed quickly the next). The views are breathtaking and food delicious. Overall we had a phenomenal experience and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a resort in Mykonos.

I like it

Lovely hotel but very disappointing service

We stayed for 5 days and decided to upgrade our room for the last day. The hotel made us check out at 11 on made us wait for three ours to give us our upgraded room which was totally unexpected and not mentioned before. When we told the receptionist that we need extra time as we weren’t yet prepared, they sent someone to collect our luggage and kept calling us to ask how long we were take. It was extremely annoying and unexpected considering it’s a 5 star :( Definitely not the friendliest staff!!!

Adorable place, where we spent our honeymoon, the staff are super nice and helpful, they made our stay perfect. Highly recommend this place, and would like to go there again.

This hotel is quite unique. We were at the Avaton for a wedding. It was the most spectacular wedding that I have had the pleasure of assisting. The view is breathtaking and the staff is very kind and efficient. I loved Greece!

We absolutely LOVE the Avaton! The resort itself is incredibly beautiful and well maintained. The red accents at the pool really make the property stand out against the natural backdrop. From the moment we arrived, we received nothing but the best service and hospitality from the staff. I was blown away by the breakfast - talk about fresh! So many options and everything was delicious. Of course, the wait staff was attentive and friendly every time we saw them. We greatly appreciated the resort staff accommodating our request for our 3 rooms to be near each other. The location is nearly perfect because it's about a 30 minute drive to many of the Mykonos 'highlights' but is just a short transfer to Elia Beach (the best beach in Mykonos, in our opinion). We dined at the Avaton and found the food to be fresh and unique - especially the lobster appetizer! Every room has a phenomenal view of Elia Bay and ours had sweeping views from the balcony. The best part of waking up each day was opening the balcony doors and feeling the warm sea breeze as we looked out on the Aegean Sea before going to breakfast. While the entire staff was wonderful, we'd like to give special thanks to Mario, Anisa, Jenny, Martino, Gregory, and Petros for the exceptional service they provided. There is no doubt that we will stay at the Avaton during our next trip to Mykonos!

Amazing location, facilities and service!

Our stay at Myconian Avaton was amazing. The hotel is beautiful, the location is stunning and the service is fantastic. It was perfect. It was our first time on Mykonos so we had many questions. Thomas, our concierge, answered every question and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. The woman who cleaned our rooms each day was also fantastic. Taught us some Greek words and radiated kindness. My 20 and 21 year old daughters even commented on her kindness! Advice to others- a car is very helpful on Mykonos so that you can visit other beaches. We had originally booked our car to pick up at the airport but had to cancel it because our flight was delayed. We then had the hotel book a replacement for us. It cost us only half the cost we had planned to pay. Each beach has a different feeling and look. Each has a “Beach Club” with food and beverages. Sun Lounges and umbrellas are also available for a fee. The free sun lounges at Elia Beach for guests are a very nice inclusion. Elia is beautiful. However, our meal at the Elia Beach Club was average. I recommend eating at the hotel instead. The food at there was fantastic if somewhat pricey. I can’t forget to mention the extravagant included breakfast buffet though! Don’t sleep too late to enjoy it looking out over the sea! Definitely take advantage of the free hotel provided shuttle to and from the airport. One caveat on car rental; the driveway to the hotel is steep! I parked at a lower place and walked up

The property is amazing and exactly as depicted in the pictures online. All the staff members are amazing, very helpful and friendly. The breakfast buffet was wonderful and of course the view willing dining is great.

I wanted to thank you all for the amazing experience, my brother Ivan and myself had, during our stay at Utopia. I had there one of the best time of my life. I will be eternally grateful for the memories and moments we shared in Mykonos, I travel frequently but this particular holiday was incredible. Due to you, thank you so much for the amazing service provided at the hotel, we felt welcomed and taking care off on all needs, this raise the experience even further. The ladies at the reception were always warmly welcoming us and providing insights on the island with such a beautiful smile on their faces, the staff at the restaurant was extremely friendly, the food was delicate and fresh, wine recommendation perfect. You could feel that everyone was happy working at Utopia, I believe it comes from a great management ! Very friendly staff, reasonably priced considering how inflated Mykonos is. The hotel is nicely situated within a cove so protected by the winds. Would definitely stay again

Nice hotel 5 min to beach no entertainment at night

Great location with an amazing view and 2 minute free shuttle ride to their amazing private beach. I've been to many 4 and 5 star hotels/resorts and never received such great service like we did at the Avaton. It started with check-in, where you didn't have to wait in line like in most hotels, but rather they have you sit on comfortable sofas, bring you drinks, and take care of your check in for you, and come bring you your key. The breakfast was great. the bar was great. Free shuttle from the airport was great. Everything was great. Super impressed! And the people in Mykonos are so friendly it just puts you in a great mood.

Amazing hotel very close to a gorgeous beach, with beach chairs included. The people working at this hotel, I couldn't speak more highly of. They are all great people. I definitely recommend meeting Martinos, and the bartender, George. But the whole staff was excellent. There is a shuttle into town, as well as a short shuttle to the beach. The pool area is gorgeous. Strongly recommend this hotel!

Bathroom is too small. Bed and bedsheets aren’t confortable. Call 3 times and awake me in the morning to be sure I’ll leave the hotel at 12am not 12.05.

Things I didn’t like about the hotel 1- water is not free( 5 euros per bottle) 2- you will be charged additional 6 euros for each room service order 3- 30 minutes far from the downtown (city) 4- beach area doesn’t have shower neither water for washing the feet’s from the sand 5- you have to bring your towels to the beach (no towels are available in the beach area) 6- pool is sea water Things I have liked 1- hotel is amazing lobby, staff, rooms. It’s a modern luxury hotel 2- pool area is amazing in size, design and view. It is I infinite view with the sea. 3- pool good is great as you are eating in a fine dinning. 4- hotel has transportation to the city every hour, to and from the airport and to and from the por. Luxury Mercedes buses. 5- I booked a room with private pool. I had a if problem as there wasn’t enough sun to have suntan. The hotel manager understood our situation and upgraded us to a room called grand mystique room which was amazing. Ask for room 9266 if you want to have full privacy, big pool, sitting area outside, barbecue area and amazing view to the sea and sunset. Thank you Mario for the upgrade and amazing experience. In conclusion, I would go again to the hotel and recommend it to everyone

the perfect hotel in Mykonos

The hotel is simply beautiful, the staff are very friendly and professionals, when we arrived they were waiting to take us to the hotel which is about 25 minutes from the port. The rooms are very clean, beautiful and romantic. The pool area and beaches are beautiful. There is a permanent transport system that takes you from the hotel to the center of Mykonos and in this way you can combine your stay with calm spaces far from the center, or spaces with more fun and people in the mykonos town. The only thing we did not like was that the cocktails were not as good quality and were expensive but the food and especially the breakfast was fantastic. with no doubt I would come back to this place to stay again.

Best Hotel Experience of our Lives

As the title above suggests, we were blown away by this hotel and it's fantastic staff. The location is simply stunning, with views that beg to be printed on a postcard. From the moment we checked in we immediately felt welcome as the staff went above and beyond, wherever they could. If you are lucky enough to encounter Dimetra, Martinos and Theodor during your visit, you are very lucky! They were exceptional and so friendly. They are an asset to the Myconian Avaton. We stayed in a partial sea view room with a "jetted tub." We did not know that this would mean our own private jacuzzi on our sizeable balcony, overlooking the breathtaking view of the Aegean. We were welcomed to the room with a complimentary bottle of amazing wine. Our only regret is that we could not read the name on the label to purchase more during our visit. The room was spotless and the housekeeping provided by the lovely maid, twice daily, was simply outstanding. One of the hotel's most generous features is it's bus service to the beach and to Mykonos town. It ran on time, every time, to the same reliable schedule, every day. If you want to visit their private section of the beach, you need only ask and a bus will be called just for you. Overall, it was incredible. The best hotel stay of our lives! Could not recommended highly enough!

Stunning and luxurious

One of the most stunning and luxurious hotels I've been to, simply outstanding experience. However the sushi restaurant on premise was super overpriced for average quality. Everything else including the amazing buffet breakfasts are to die for! Simply awesome and worth the price!

Great honeymoon location, amazing view!

Amazing view! Great hotel and location. Front desk reception very friendly and helpful. However the same can not be said for the pool bar. Room was decent in size and bathroom very spacious. It was very nice that they had Towels in the room that you could take to the beach. The pool area is very spacious and the pool is big and has an incredible view. The breakfast buffet was great with lots to choose from including gluten free items. The only negative was the bathroom smell. There were a really bad sewer smell coming from the drains. We had to sleep with the bathroom door closed. But other than that and excellent hotel and we would definitely stay there again.

Outstanding hotel and Amazing Service!!!

This was by far the best hotel I've ever stayed at. The service, location, food, staff, pool and pool-side DJ were incredible. My husband and I stayed 4 nights on our honeymoon and it was our favorite spot. Excellent!!!!!!

Absolute Paradise!!

The Myconian Avaton was the highlight of our trip to Greece. Beautiful property, best service, incredible design, and the employees were attentive and kind. Can't recommend the Avaton highly enough- we will be back!

Boutique hotel at Elia beach

The hotel is new in their collection. Very nice properties, service was great from renting a car to pick up from airport/port. Breakfast was great , good selection and great service. The restaurant is also good but pricey but is expected for five star property. Highly recommend the hotel and sister properties

Romantic Mykonos Getaway / Stunning Views

Amazing views, stunning property, breathtaking infinity pools. Staff extremely friendly and willing to assist with any requests. No complaints. The property can be difficult to get to by car if you're not familiar / used to driving in Mykonos. Booked this property well in advance for a large group. Some travel plans changed and the room was not needed for the last evening, but the resort was unwilling to refund that day.

Great hotel With amazing view and great stuff

The hotel is part of the Mykonian complex one of the 5 and the newest one on the Elia beach. Our room had a big balcony almost good patio size. Very decent size and comfortable room the only downside in my opinion are "saloon" type swinging doors separating room and bathroom that were pretty noisy and you had to be careful using these while your better half is asleep. The food is on par with the hotel massive breakfast with multiple choices catering to wide spectrum of the tests, very high quality products. We did have dinner once there and my lamb chops were vey good. Very decent selection of spirits and vines. We spent one fool day on the hotel swimming pool and enjoyed it very much the pool side stuff is very attentive and doing their best to make you feel good. Very decent DJ. The only spot on this otherwise very pleasant experience was a group of the guests a bit overindulged on the alcohol that decided to "worm up" the atmosphere and pressed DJ into more noisy dancing repertoire. We did not like it so us and few other guests just left.

At best, a 4 star.

We are travelers of the world and really go after the true 5 star experiences when it comes to accommodations. Prior to arriving to The Avaton, we had come from the West East Suites in Santorini and had the infinity pool room(true 5 star accommodation!). Don't get me wrong, he Avaton is nice . But in comparison to our other experiences and overall condition of the rooms(mainly the private terrace/pool), this would not be a 5 star. For example, we had the Grand Mystique suite with a private pool and were a bit surprised to learn that each room has a different layout (some small and some big). So to say the least, the online pictures on all the different sites as well as the main hotel site can be very misleading as you likely wont get the room that's being advertised. Our room was quite small and standard by size with a large terrace and private pool. The grand seating area advertised was also absent in our room. I tried to speak to two different managers (one named Haris) and neither followed up to clarify the discrepancy. I even showed them the picture of the room we were after, as it had a particular open floor plan. They said they would look into it and then nothing. On another note, I was surprised to find our pool ladder metal was rusty and our pool dirty on the first night. It was actually a bit gross as there were oily floating objects. It was cleaned by our second night. Breakfast was OK. The main pool area is excellent, cool bathrooms by the pool.

Exceptional Service

Everything about this place was great. I got a free upgrade and the room was big with a comfortable bed. The staff there are on a different level of service. From the free airport shuttle to welcoming you to the hotel. The hotel supervisor Mr. Marios was nice, approachable and always readily available to ensure we had a great stay. Next time I am in Mykonos, this place will be my go to hotel. Highly recommend!!

Best Secluded Hotel in Mykonos

Upgraded suites and villas with private pools and deck were amazing. Very nice views and amenities. The best staff and restaurant service I have experienced in all my travels. Ritz Carlton can learn a thing or two. The rooms were well maintained for the most part but some sinks, flooring was broken and because it is in the mountains was prone to some insects but at least no mosquitos.

Clean hotel but Needs Bettr front desk staff

The hotel accommodations where good, with the exception of the carts and the room doors which tend to slam and shake the rooms walls. The front desk staff where not helpful and where always looking to sell you the most expensive excursions or day trips on the island. In addition the check in process was a debacle it took them 2 hours to find the room. We have stayed in better acomodations with a lower star rating than this hotel. I think the hotel needs to improve on their people skills and better check in process. On the other hand the bartender and the bell boys staff where excellent.

Incredible service-oriented hotel

The hotel looks great, the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. The rooms are big and comfortable. The are rides to the beach every 10 minutes but the pool at the hotel is amazing so we almost never left it. The only comment I could have is that this is advertised as an adult only hotel when it is not, the children didn't bother us at all but just keep it in mind in you were planning on a 100% kids free stay :)

although its a bit far from down town (15-20 min drive) and from Namos beach which is the best in Mykonos (about 25 min drive), but the hotel is amazing ... everything there is nice... the staff, the breakfast and the rooms.. thanks to all who works there

Fantastic overall! Great staff, service. Attentive, clean, gorgeous setting/facilities. A bit far from town, but convenient/free shuttle service to beach/town. I'd go again in a heartbeat.

A 5* Hotel with Poor Internet and Average Staff

As a frequent 5* traveler, the stay at Avaton was very average. The room was not clean with the daily cleaning service comprising not much more than making the bed. The floors felt dirty! The Internet was terrible. A speed test showed why... A 1mb connection the lobby and almost nothing in the room. The staff were average and did not go to any length to provide above and beyond service. Their behavior is best summarized as dismissive... Especially the lobby staff! Overall this is a nice hotel, however, not a 5* experience, although you pay for it. Nothing of the experience shines as great! Expect a 4* experience at best. Having travelled to Mykonos many times... There are better options! Save yourself the disappointment.

One of the best

Traveling is always a pleasure when you can stay at a place like avaton. The resort was a perfect place to energize your mind and body. The staff was welcoming when I arrived...especially the hostess Maria. They provided me early check in and an upgrade. Rooms were clean modern and extremely comfortable. View was the best part of the rooms. Younger clientele vs utopia...which fit the culture and design. Convenient and dependable transportation to Mykonos town. Ive been to some amazing resorts in this world and I would say avaton compares to all of them. Highly recommended. Thanks to the whole avaton crew!

Awesome hotel, amazing design, breathtaking views from every room and from the main pool, cool and helpfull stuff, great smell all over, a huge viriery of soaps shampoos body loatins ect', free shutles to the beach and to mykonos city. Wifi works hardly... And if you visit in august beware that hotel is very crowded.
