Dog lover paradise
My friend and I started with reservation for 3 days, but kept extending it until we'd been there 2 weeks. We loved the wonderful family of dogs. They have 5 inside the hotel area (it's gated). We had a spacious room and comfortable king bed. It's less than a block from beach access, and you can walk the beach &/or boardwalk for several miles north (except at high tide), and 1-2 miles south, to Thaao Ko Sa Forest Park. If you make the short walk around the park, the other side has another great beach/boardwalk. Had fun eating on beach, watching kite surfers. We climbed the peak at Thaao Ko Sa, which is about 300m, and were rewarded with some stunning views. We had rented a scooter in Hua Hin, which substantially increased our mobility, and we felt safer riding outside of Thai cities. Our adventures led us to Phraya Nakhon Cave, Khao Sam Roi Not National Park and seeing wild elephants in Kuri Buri National Park.
