Lovely hotel
Perfect room for a family of 4. Kids loved it.
Loved it.
It was very clean. Small shower space; a big person would not have been able to get in. No ice offered at this property, which would have been nice to have, since there was no fridge. No satellite TV, so all channels are Italian, and all English movies are dubbed with Italian voices. Dark panels over the windows, which makes the rooms very dark. Many buildings have these though. However, Venice was very lovely and charming.
Very money minded staff . I think it was family owned business. Long story short not worth it at all with$ 250 dollars.no mini refrigerator.very small shower. Bugs and mosquitoes all around …and many more
Room and washroom is too small, be prepared to deal with mosquitoes because it is Venice
Very close to the train station and off the Main Street with plenty of dining options . The only thing I can say negative is they will only give you one key card. I got a sick belly and my young men wanted to go out for the evening. I had to get up late to go open the door for them because reception leaves at 10:30. I could not send the card with them because power to room shuts off without it. Very inconvenient.
Very nice staff !!! We appreciated that all 4 beds were ready(with a little gift) when we arrived ! Normally in other hotels for a family of 4 we have to do the sofa bed ourselves !! Nice people !!
Great base of operations.
Conveniently located. Just off Main Street but very quiet. Front desk staff were very helpful. Comfortable room. Shower is a little small for a 6’ 2” American dude.
A lovely hotel
I last stayed in Hotel Guerrini in 2015 and it is just as I remembered it. Very friendly and helpful staff, clean and safe. I will stay here the next time im in Venice.
Comfortable and very clean. Staff warm and friendly and location very convenient
Fun quick stay
Quick Venice trip with friends, fell in love with the city, and the hotel offered some good but busy choices for restaurants. The hotel is nicely secluded in a little alley off of the main tourist street so it's central and easy to get to everything. No elevator cause it's a tiny hotel, so expect to carry every heavy souvenir up those steps.
Only the breakfast is yo late 8:00 am . But is ok we have a lot area fir breakfast. But is no the same when you have to leave early
I would recommend for the people around me
There are lots of mosquitoes so if you’re having a plan to stay there don’t forget to take the mosquito protector with you and the mosquitos bites are huge very poisonous
Great experience
Great family run hotel. Close to the railway station and Grand Canal. Within easy walking distance of restaurants, bars and sights. Basic but spotlessly clean roon. Very friendly and helpful staff
Great place to stay for the money
The staff were all very friendly, the location was great, especially since we were there for a very short visit, and it was very clean.
Close to metro stations Receptionist very helpful Safe, clean.
Very friendly staff from Reception Desk, Giorgia and Mauro in particular. They were very kind, informative, helpful in every aspect. ,,Grazie mille" to both of them. Good location of this property. Certainly would come back.
Great location for the train station and for walking into central Venice.
Charming little hotel at comfortable walking distance to Santa Lucia train station and Piazzale Roma. Lively neighborhood. Ideal for an overnight stay in Venice. Very friendly and helpful staff.
Nice hotel. Close to the train station. Clean room.
Very close to the train station. Easy access to everything. Very noisy though, our third time there.
Common bathroom
The common bathroom was not clean
Great location, close to train station, which if you need has free covid testing, but be prepared for 3 hour wait.
Good for the price.
Location was great. Easy walking distance to train station, St. Mark's, Jewish Ghetto. Quiet - located just off main street. Wonderful staff. Great light breakfast.
Lovely stay in Venice
Accommodation was clean but a little tired. We were on the first floor and there was noise from either other guests or from outside when we went to bed and when we woke up. Air conditioning didn't work. Reception staff very friendly. Breakfast sufficient.
Hotel Has Seen Better Days As an American, I know we are spoiled. However I have travelled a little in Europe and Amy comparing this hotel to those accommodations. 1. I may have missed the item in their description that said they don't have an elevator, because they don't have one. That would have been a deal breaker. 2. After seeing me struggle with my large suitcase and heavy backpack, you'd think the able-bodied young man at the front desk (there were two people, and they weren't busy) would have at least offered to help. No, he let me make two trips up,the stairs (fortunately to the second floor). 3. I would've liked to look outside. Unfortunately, my two windows had black metal shutters on the outside. When I looked through the crack, however, the courtyard below me was filled with trash. So, I gu SS it was a good think I couldn't look out. 4. My room was sweltering with no way to control the temp. When I asked , the answer was, basically, "oh well". Other things like laminate chips on the doors and a leaky shower just tell me this hotel has seen better days. When I booked the room, it had 3 stars. I see now it's listed at 2 stars. Other people must agree with me.
Staff was not helpful at all, did not help my wife with baggage. Stayed for 2 nights room was not cleaned once. Very weak wifi if at all. Also no air conditioner. Things which the hotel had on Travelocity, were not lived up too. Terrible experience.
Rooms are very basic. Breakfast was good. Staff was nice and accommodating.
You couldn’t ask for a better location...right beside the train station
Overall it was very good. I didn't realize there was no shower in the room when I booked it. A little disappointed in that. Breakfast was great though!
Nice , clean , centric with good breakfast!!! Close to the train station and Vaporetties
Loved the location, staff, and breakfast. Rooms are a bit dated. The showers are small, it was fine for us. Just a note, no elevator. We did not have much luggage. The tables outside are super cute... the hotel also has water for 1 euro and beer for less than 3 euros. We sat outside every evening. We would definitely stay at the hotel again!
Great choice helpful staff good location . ..... .
Excellent location. No lift. Good breakfast with a lovely lady organising it all. Noisy air conditioning.
-Horrible WiFi -Horrible AC unit, takes forever to cool down the room. -Paper thin walls -Dirty room (dusty floors, mildew on bathroom tile, marks on walls) -No Iron/Board -No ice -No mini-fridge -Also, you have to leave your key card at the front desk whenever you are leaving the hotel.
The hotel looks very old and run down. They leave the windows open and mosquitos got in our room. Staff also not welcoming
Expensive. Room is old. Location is acceptable. Lowest std of all the B&B i stayed in italy
It was close to arrive and departed and quite place
Venice
It could be better except for that buzzing sound every 5minutes..can’t sleep
Location was good close to the train station. However a room that accommodated 3 people only had one outlet and that was located in the bathroom. To say the room was minimal and basic would be an understatement.
Delightful stay in Venice
The stay here was amazing! What a lovely welcome to Venice:) the hotel was located close to the train station, but on a quiet little side street. The staff was very helpful and even loaned us a phone charger...but the best thing of all was the coffee maker!!!!! It made about 10 different kinds of coffee and I am fantasizing about it daily (usually in the morning). The place was clean and the breakfast in general was delicious....okay now I am fantasizing about the croissants:)
Nice quiet location in an alleyway/courtyard but close to a bustling vibrant area
Great hotel for a quick stay in Venice, close to train station and Piazzale Roma. Room was clean with enough space for our family, A/C worked well, and the included breakfast was good.
Nice location
Nice hotel with good service Located close to Ferrovia
perfect location to train and easy to find. Very clean, cool and professional staff.
I like that the property was clean and close to dining, and shopping.
Its ok for 1 or 2 nights very small
Near railway station, plenty of restaurants nearby.
Very convenient location in Venice
Place was clean and location is perfect, walking distance from train station, bus terminal and cruises people mover. On the not so positive side, there was only one outlet in the room and it was in the bathroom. For a cuatruple room, it was very limited.
The staff are very helpful and friendly and the hotel is located
Great location
Excellent location in a quiet area but just metres from the Grand canal. Didn’t realise when I booked but our room not en-suite ( in an old historic building) but the loo and showe were close by, so not a problem Excellent breakfasts
We were very impressed with the cleanliness and lovely hot shower!!!
Very clean. Huge bathroom. Lovely balcony. Better than expected.
Great location. Charming. Helpful staff. Good breakfast.
This property is very well located. The only little issue we've had was with one person at the front desk in early morning as we ask if he could talk to us on the phone with the taxi company as we didn't understand what she was saying as she was speaking in Spanish and when we asked him it's like we were disturbing him while he was playing with his cell phone. I practically had to get upset for him to realize that we were not pleased at all with how he was treating us by ignoring us. Also, we asked the front desk if they could help us with the online check in for our plane tickets and they couldn't help us with their computer and also they're was no available computer for us to use besides that. They're should be a complimentary computer for guests to use.
The property is located well, in walking distance from the train and bus station.
The hotel is very easy to find from the train station. It is just off the main street and is very quiet. The shared bathroom is very narrow.
Nice tucked away location. Very quiet at night. Shared washrooms were clean. No issues with leaving luggage by the front. Decent breakfast. Very small rooms. Last floor of stairs was very creaky. Great location close to the train station! Overall a comfortable and convenient stay.
Cosy Hotel
In general we were very pleased with our stay in your cosy hotel, location is great, breakfast was frest and tasty. The only flaw was that your young big handsome reception guys . At first they tried to place us on different floors saying that we had two separate bookings, only after we insisted that two rooms were in one booking, they placed us together. Then they refused to help us (three elderly ladies - 71, 66 and 54) with suitcases to the fisrt floor, though i had a broken shoulder. They were very indifferent to customers. I think they ought to be friendlier, they are the face of your hotel.
Everything was good. Very close to water and train transportation. I like a lot this hotel
Close to the train and friendly.
Nuce hotel in perfect location for a good price.
Great stay, the room was just as described and the staff was very friendly!
Very clean hotel, recently renovated. Good breakfast, affable personal.
Nice hotel and great location.
Quiet alley off main street. Friendly and helpful front desk. Let us check in at 10:30am. Very easy walk from train station with rolling suitcases. Great local shops, food and location. Room was very nice and felt very safe and secure.
The overall rating was ok but it could be better of threy would of exactly mention the price wouldn't include breakfasts
Very handy location to the train station.
Good location within walking distance to San Lucia Train Station and Cruise Terminal. Rooms could use some updating but it is was priced within our budget and we saved on taxi and vaporettos. Rode the bus from Piazza de Roma to Marco Polo Airport for only 8 Euros.
Not worth the koney
We spent 2 weeks in Europe and this was the most expensive hotel we stayed at. You would think this means it was the best however the hotel was loud, we could hear every word the rooms next to us were saying. The ac barely worked in the heat of Venice and the bed was the most uncomfortable thing I’ve ever laid on
The only negative response I can think about was the loud noice the doors make when shut.
Location! Location! Location! it was close enough to train station and bus station(for airport) to drag around your own luggage. it is on the main path you take to San Marcos area. Rooms were simple, small but clean. The AC didnt seem to cool the room, but that seemed to be normal throughout all of italy. Location allowed us to go shopping and stop in room to drop off bags and use restroom instead of public restrooms in area. One thing to point out is the breakfast- only rooms booked in the main building include breakfast. We were taken across the hall but it was not an issue.
Central location next to santa Lucia
Great location in Venice . Great small clean place .quiet
You get what you pay for
Air conditioning was ineffective Wifi also inconsistent
Charming
This hotel is charming. Met the owner who is third-generation at this site. When I booked I was concerned about the safety of the area, but found this was a great vibrant location for getting around Venice.
Venice for two
Nice and clean place just one block away from one of the busy Venice canals. Our alley was quiet though.
Comfortable hotel conveniently located. Front desk very nice.
Good for the price
Good location. Hotel good for the price but quite basic.
Room small, but okay. Close to train station.
Good location. Very welcoming staff. Room for 3 people was comfortable
the location is convenient and near train station within walking distance, shops are just around the corner, air conditioning is ok though the water pressure is not sufficient but i thought it’s the whole problem of venice, overall comment is good!!!
Good location
This is a simple no-frills hotel, but it has everything a traveler needs -- as long as you remember to book a room with a bathroom. Thankfully, there was a room with a bathroom available, and I was able to pay a little more for that upgrade. It's located less than a 10-minute walk to the train and bus stations. I was only there for one night, but it's a good choice for a stay in Venice!
It’s tucked into a great location in Venice. So quiet, yet steps away from anything you may need!
On a quiet cul de sac just 200m from the Santa Lucia train station. Very nice staff.
Great location
Perfect spot just a few minutes walk from an airport boat stop. Great aircon! Good free breakfast Good Wi-Fi
Great choice
Loved this hotel, great location, down a quiet street and staff were wonderful. Would definitely stay here again
Great Location
This is a lovely little hotel. The room was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was modern and had all that was required. The hotel is down an alley way off a busy street of shops, restaurants etc. It is quiet and there were table and chairs in the alley where we could enjoy a quiet drink in the afternoon, after a busy day of sightseeing. Staff were helpful. The breakfast was basic. An enjoyable stay.
Good basic hotel, close to train station
Overall, we enjoyed our stay here. It’s nothing special but the staff is friendly and it meets the need for a quick stay inn venice! Pros: - 24 hour concierge service - wifi in rooms - good breakfast with limited assortment - helpful staff - 10 mins walk to train station and bus station There weren’t really any cons but it was just an average hotel with no special perks. Good for one night stay! If you’re looking for a nice patio and something fancy, maybe choose somewhere else.
Guerrini was clean, attractive, and near the train station so we didn’t have to inconveniently haul our luggage all over Venice. I liked that we were able to leave our luggage there after checking out and explore for a final day before catching our late afternoon train. The staff was pleasant so although not everyone spoke English well we were able to get the information we needed to get around. Our breakfast was very good with many food choices. Our only complaint was the windows had been left open and mosquitoes invaded our room in the evening.
Good location.
Good stores and restaurants nearby. Good access to watercraft and train station.
We had a good stay at Guerrini, the staff were great and allowed us to check-in earlier as we had just arrived on an overnight train. The breakfast was good and it's in a fantastic location, just a 5-min walk to the train station. Recommend!
Very nice hotel - very friendly staff - budget stay - would definitely stay again-great location
Very affordable hotel. Well located, near restaurants, shops, the train station and the cruise port terminal. Staff is nice and they speak good English and French. Continental breakfast was very good. Highly recommended.
Great small hotel
The hotel is cozy, rooms are comfortable.location is great close to train station and easy to get anywhere from there The breakfast is great too
Small hotel well situated
Very good location for shops restaurants which are all on the door step but hotel is still quiet dispite this. 10 min walk from main bus station. Probably about 15 mins walk to rialto bridge. Nice breakfast in small but clean breakfast room.comfy beds.
Only a few minutes' walf from the railway station, in a little side street off Rio Tera Lista di Spagna, so it's actually pretty quiet. Very clean and modern, with good sized rooms and friendly reception staff. One thing to note, though: mosquitoes are common in Venice, and the Hotel Guerrrini is no exception. Unless you like hearing mosquitoes buzzing around your ears at night, you need to invest in a can of fly spray which, surprisingly, is quite difficult to find in Venice.

Great hotel! Spacious room
