Loved our stay at the Hotel. Very clean and had everything we needed. The staff was very friendly. Bria and Noel helped us a lot!

We had a wonderful stay! The staff were extremely helpful and kind, making our experience even more enjoyable. It was very peaceful, and it was just a lovely, easy walk to many sites nearby.

Overall, a decent stay. However, we landed late so we had a kate check in. When we got to our room there were hair strands on the sheets of the bed. We got a new room, but no compensation for the inconvenience. We also pad for a city view, but I would say that the photos were deceiving. Our "city view" was only the view of the window of the hotel next door. This was a waste. The upstairs bar had great drinks and friendly staff. We were at the downstairs bar Saturday night and the women working the bar was not friendly and have a cold vibe. I'd say this is a 3/5 max.

For starters, the front desk staff did not give a run down of what the hotel offered or where anything was. The room was booked for double occupancy but upon entering the room there was 1 robe and set of slippers. Rooms should come with mini fridge at least. With as many restaurants around there is nowhere to store leftover food. No coffee machine, and although it’s brought to your room, ice is not readily available. You have to wait for it to arrive.

This hotel is amazing!!! I ultimately booked because of the Empire State view and it did not disappoint one bit. From the moment we checked in the staff was very friendly, and the bar/dining area on 1st floor was a perfect area to wait until our room was ready. Rooms are nice and cozy with comfortable bedding and bathroom was very nice and spacious for being in NYC. Perfect location IMO that was close to multiple subway stations, a CVS, and across from some of the best Szechuan food we ever had. Was able to enjoy the rooftop bar as well, with Mexican inspired drinks and amazing views. I cannot praise this hotel enough, even asked for extra towels at like 1am when we came back from a show and they were up straight away!!

We had a fabulous stay. Our room was small but not at all crowded. It was very clean and there were plenty of shower towels in the bathroom. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooftop bar had an excellent view and a very accommodating staff.

We stay here each time we come to NY. It’s continently located, very walkable. Hotel is well maintained.

Property is new and very clean. The staff are very nice, everyone greeted us with genuine heartfelt kindness. The beds were comfortable and the rooms spacious (which is not common in NYC). The elevators were the funny downside of the trip. We stayed one night and it was enough to see the amount of guests who struggled with the elevator controls just like we did. One person left the elevator fed up trying to select the floor in front of strangers. Have them go over the controls with you. The hotel is wonderful.

Great new hotel, enjoyed our stay. Fairly quiet (very quiet for NYC), very comfortable room and bed, love the modern minimalist decor, excellent front desk/concierge staff. Looking forward to coming back.

All was great and the rooftop Bar was a great addition . Location is amazing . They should offer a valet service for parking the car it was a couple of blocks away but wasnt a deal breaker.

Wonderful hotel !

First time in NYC, location was perfect near many main attractions. Very safe neighborhood, clean hotel, friendly staff. Amazing views of the Empire State building from rooftop bar which was the best experience!

Friendly and helpful staff!

I paid for top floor with city view. I received room 703. Walls were scuffed. Carpet and floor dirty and dusty. I have photos. Food particles also on carpet. Upon exiting hotel via Elevator bank A the emergency fire doors slammed shut almost hitting us and causing injury. Also the dust from the emergency doors was flying everywhere indicating they have been inspected in a long time.

Not worth it

The hotel is new, so cleanliness is not an issue. However, there are many other issues to be addressed. The elevators are tiny and very slow. The restaurant's menu left a lot to be desired. I requested a mini fridge for one of my rooms prior to arrival, but it was not provided until I requested it from the front desk the next day. At this point I asked to speak to the GM but he/she was unavailable. But the biggest issue I had was with my bill. My initial deposit was not reflected in the total. I once again asked to speak with the manager, and once again they were unavailable. I would like to say give a shot out to Orenzo Harrell, a bell person with the hotel. He was kind, helpful, and a true asset to the organization. He is the only reason I gave the overall experience 3 stars instead of 2. Bottom line...there are so many places to stay in NYC - I wouldn't put this hotel in your top 10 list.

A great place to enjoy NYC.

Davon, Darrell, and the every single staff member I interacted with were absolutely amazing! I felt at home. I get anxious being in new places and this was my first time in NYC. They were able to help guide me for all of our needs! 10/10

Very friendly staff and the room was extremely clean, comfortable, and beautifully updated. The location was ideal.

The staff was incredibly friendly. We arrived at noon, and our hotel was ready. Given our advanced notice. This was a wonderful perk. Water and free coffee in the lobby was also nice. I made a request for a coffee machine to be brought to my hotel room, and it was accommodated seamlessly. Location, especially during the Christmas season, was ideal being next to Bryant Park market. The elevators were pretty slow, but that was the only drawback.

Such a wonderful place to stay. The staff was incredibly friendly and so helpful with anything we needed.

Great location, next to a lot of shopping options, restaurants and a big activity selection. Only down side about the hotel would be its room lighting. Yellow poor lighting. Getting ready (makeup) wise was bit of a struggle. Would recommend taking a light up mirror if going to stay in this hotel. Other than that staff in the lobby was super helpful and friendly. Big shout out to Noelle!! Truly made the stay memorable. Always going above and beyond making sure we were welcomed, well taken care of and over all confortable.

The hotel was very clean, modern, and very safe. The staff was wonderful, very professionally, accommodating, and friendly. Would highly recommend and will plan to stay again

Barron in the front desk was awesome and helpful. Beds were comfortable, room was quiet. A little small and could do without the platform edge on the bed that we constantly bumped into. Otherwise a great experience

Great location in midtown right near Bryant Park and walkable to both train stations and Fifth Avenue shops. Great rooftop bar with views of the Empire State Building, Hudson Yards and downtown.

I love how the people was very friendly and they give me a advice where can I go to visit 😊 I don’t like I didn’t get upgraded room and it was a dog 🐶 barking in the floor where it was my room

Beautiful property. A true hidden gem

Our new favorite NYC hotel. So pretty and stylish, clean, comfortable and great service. The best view of Empire State Building from room and roof top bar. Great vibe at bar and breakfast. Excellent made to order breakfast. Amazing service. Perfect location by Bryant Park and Time Square but on a quiet, safe street. Hotel even included a sound machine in room though. We have stayed in a lot of places in NYC and this was by far the best. Was there for a bday celebration and they helped make it perfect. Well done Grayson hotel.

We stayed Thanksgiving Eve for the Macy’s Day Parade. The concierge was friendly and helpful. The room was small but clean. No coffee maker in-room but coffee was provided in the lobby in the morning. We look forward to returning for another visit. Just what we needed.

Very nice stay at the Grayson this weekend. It was my second time and I will come back. The hotel is well located, convenient and the staff is very helpful and efficient.

Great location, clean and new looking room with a good sized bathroom and nice shower. The unfinished ceiling is a bit weird but I guess it helps make the room feel less cookie cutter. Only downside was 1 of the 3 elevators broke so during high traffic times (10-11am) there was a wait to get down, especially from the lower floors.

Excellent hotel; small but comfortable room with good bathroom. No USB points or fridge or coffee maker. Staff were particularly good and a good, if limited, breakfast.

It was an unexpected work trip that was arguably one of my most comfortable. The staff was awesome and the room was great. Michael checked me in and was very friendly.

The hotel was convenient and walking distance to Times Square and Grand Central Station. It was a bit old for a 2 year old hotel. Otherwise it was perfect for a 3 night stay.

Loved the property/room overall! Hotel was affordable and in a great location making it easy to be anywhere in the city in minutes. Some areas of growth would be a fan in the bathroom, rooftop bar was not open, and info on where to use the $25 VIP for food/dining.

We had a nice stay. It was very quiet and we enjoyed the lovely room. The only negative would be the lighting in the bathroom was a little dim.

Nice staff, clean room

the property was much as described. It was clean, comfortable bed linens but tight on space which was expected. When booked I thought we were getting a high floor with good city views. (in the price of the room) We were on the 9th floor with not so great side street view. I decided not to pursue the issue. All in all it was satisfactory. Loved the roof top bar! enjoyed a good breakfast, ( the coffee machine kept breaking---but the front desk took a charge off for that) The staff were very good.

The property is very clean and feels like a luxury hotel. The amenities are excellent with a rooftop bar. It is just few blocks from TimeSqaure, Empire state and 1 block from Subway station. Very good staff as well

I was looking forward to an elevated experience here but it was just ok. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, but some of the extra pieces we were looking for to make it the 4 star experience were lacking: •they offer 2 bottled waters in the room, but then charge you for them. •the lighting at the bathroom mirror is too dim to put makeup on •the rooftop bar has the exact same menu as the taco truck out back?! • there was only 1 robe in the room, and it wasn’t in great condition

Solid Midtown hotel. Super friendly and helpful staff. Small rooms, but expected. Super comfy bed. Would stay again without question.

Hotel staff are not kind to guests

Very displeased that they would book us a room right in front of the elevator was down for repairs, while also under repair during our stay, we had to wake up to tons of different noise from repair men shouting, loud metal clanking noises and then that be the situation from early morning until the afternoon. The hotel knew it would be under major service and did nothing to rectify the situation.

The only thing that I did not like was the inability to use stairs instead of the very slow and usually very crowded elevator. There are 3 but only 2 were working during my three day stay. I did try using the stairs going down one morning, forgetting to check to make sure the door didn't lock behind me afterwards. It did. However I was able to get all the way down and came out in the back of the restaurant. However I could not walk up since the doors are all locked from that side. I understand for safety reasons this would make sure that no one from outside could enter the floors. However there could be ways to use your door card on those locks just the way you use them for the elevator. The other problem I had was them not taking off the 25. from my bill for the amount that they say that they give you in food credit. I had to call about it.

Cute to look at but not great service. We had to ask for facecloths every day for our room. One day I asked 3 times before they gave us 3. I paid to have a pair of jeans washed and they came back wet on the hanger. We were told coffee was complimentary and once had it as such but every other time we paid and no rhyme or reason as to why it was free once and then no other times.

Staff was fantastic. Room was smaller than expected but beautiful and great view. Hotel is well maintained and we had a great experience.
