What a great property and staff. My wife and I spend some time in that part of New Jersey and have stayed at other hotels. This place is so much better than the others. Will stay here again. Staff was great, rooms were perfect.

Pros: Nice atmosphere, happy hour was a bonus, breakfast was decent. Cons: Laminate floors in room made it echo-y.

Nice hotel, would stay again

Our room was very clean and spacious. The lobby looked great and breakfast each morning was delicious. We loved that there was a yogurt bar with different toppings. We didn't make it, but we were told there was an afternoon cocktail hour with snacks as well. On our first night, we were awakened by the fire alarm and smoke outside our door, there was a fire around the corner on our floor, but the fire department response was quick and we were back in in about an hour. (I'm assuming this was not the hotel's fault so I'm not going to take away stars for this - though it created a lot of anxiety)

It was very quiet and I was able to rest.

Noisy room, many broken appliances

Room had a lot of problems. The remote wouldn't work and there was no way to even manually turn on the TV. The coffee maker did not work. We told the front desk this the first morning, but nothing was done. We went back to the front desk and Sean got us a new coffee maker and a new remote control. The first night I was awakened at 2 AM by children jumping on the floor above us. I told the night clerk, but nothing was done. This happened the second night, too, told the night clerk and nothing was done. I also discovered the room phone did not work

Run… run like the wind

Booked a 1 bedroom suite 3 weeks prior to my stay and was given a studio . No extra sofa bed, no table and chairs, not even a phone . Was told that since it’s an extended stay property my reservation room type not guaranteed…. Well that’s news to me. I told them I expect a refund for price difference . Tried to book different hotel but the area was booked ( my reservation was for 2 nights). The room was in terrible condition. See pics . No sleep all night long as the room next door were people that did nothing but smoke weed and perpetually locked themselves out resulting in pounding the glass doors to have their room mates let them in. My room was right next to the glass entrance doors. I felt very unsafe all night long . In morning I booked different hotel for my second night as I couldn’t wait to get out of there. The general manager was very apologetic but there was nothing they could do… they did however give me a full refund for both nights. I also spoke with someone at Hotels.com and advised them to drop this property from their list.

Comfortable. Quiet. Clean. Pleasantly surprised by wine, beer and snacks offered from 5 to 8pm. Helped to decompress after driving on I-95 at rush hour. Will stay there again while in the atea.

Great late-night checkin staff. Good bed, clean room, clean and good towels, decent internet, good night’s sleep. Coffee and hot tea were nice. Breakfast I skipped because not many healthy options (everything had added sugar - including the plain yogurt and instant oatmeal). Some non-sugar, non gluten options would be great. Also less single-serving plastic products would be appreciated. I liked the shower products in the pump containers just fine. The location is a bit far if you’re doing business in Trenton, but there are not a lot of options. Thank you!

They charge me a fee when I came in then every thought I did it through the app and when I requested a refund it was not given I’m not using Expedia again or element hotel and they showers have mold around the edges and they don’t always clean the rooms either

Nice room, great breakfast.

Remote. No view our window. No garden . Where would guests ride the complimentary bikes to? The drive leading up to enterance of hotel is a hazard for low riding cars! Extremely large pot holes. And black mold in shower. Would be great to have an C-plug outlet! Also breakfast would be amazing to have vegan options and ingredients of offerings provided. Other than these few details, everything else was amazing ! Especially the welcome offerings in the lobby! Very nice touches!

Great for a Visit

It was an amazingly comfortable stay. The rooms were immaculately cleaned. There was some water damage near the air conditioning in one of the rooms, however, it did not affect the comfort level at all. The courtyard area is lovely to have breakfast or relax outside with your dinner. The breakfast and the wine or beer in the evening are not to be missed. It’s a safe and comfortable space.

It was great and accommodating.

I liked the property and the room. It was clean and quiet. What I did not like was there was no stores or restaurants around. They did offer free breakfast which was needed since I was starving. Luckily, they also had a mini store to buy some food, snacks or drinks. I had to pay double the price though. Overall good though

To be honest, I don’t think we got good value for our $300 per night charge. We paid for a suit but only got a single room. I know it was a busy weekend, but I think the fact that all the suites were taken was not our fault. No sort of refund was offered. Hotel was ok, but I would not recommend. In my book, $300 is a lot for a single hotel room with a king bed.

The staff was so patient when our party had four reservations in two names with Marriott as well as two third party vendors. There had been so many changes that we were missing a different day on each of the rooms. They sorted it all and fixed the problems without overcharging us. There were minor problems with the rooms we had - no heat in one, no hot water in another, a pullout sofa with someone’s snack all crumbled beneath the cushions and no bedding, and a serious leak in the kitchen faucet. We only asked for help with the heat, and the bedding/mess for the sofabed. Both were fixed in a timely fashion. Staff is their best feature. They are hardworking and very helpful and friendly.

We stayed 5 days and every person on every shift at the desk was kind, helpful and accommodating. Rooms and common areas were very clean. We will stay here the next time we are in the area.

Great hotel, great breakfast, great free beer 5-7

The facility was very good and I intend on making future reservations.

Overall the hotel is good. Upon arrival, the toilet was clogged and the knob to the shower fell off the wall. Additionally, there only seemed to be one temperature of the water which was scalding hot. However, I'd probably stay here again if I had a different room. They really do need to fix the road coming in.

Nice accommodations

Check in was great, we checked in ahead of time and it was easy and smooth at the hotel. We didn’t live the rain shower, it was hard to rinse off and there wasn't any place for toiletries in the shower. The room was great and bed super comfortable.

I'm really enjoying my stay. I love it because i can bring my poodle.. the only problem was in the first night and part of the next day the heat was not working. I told the receptionist and she gave me another room with a discount. Thank you for the hospitality..

Enjoyed hotel. TV small in size and not near bed. Laminate on cabinets facade coming off. Pool out of service. Climate control excellent. Room clean but had a smell of deodorizer. Breakfast adequate and had an individual making crepes. Also, gave out free beer and wine at night. Location nearby highway and airport in a good way. Staff friendly. King size bed great.

The employees are fenonomal. Very friendly and Helpful. The rooms are clean and very up to date. We have stayed here 2 years in a row and will be back. We highly recommend.

Overall great property and staff.

Our stay was nice it was clean and the staff was friendly. The pull out sofa bed was not comfortable at all you could feel all the springs in the bed. Also the complimentary breakfast wasn’t the greatest, it was cold. But overall it was a decent place to stay.

Staff: Speedy check in. Positive attitude and responsive. Cleanliness: public areas are modern, clean, and organized. Room cleanliness spotty, depends on which room you get. Hairs stuck on fitted sheets from laundry, hairs found along the rim and corners of the bathroom, so room cleanliness is be below par. Quiet even though its near the airport, spacious, reasonably good room design, easy parking It would have earned a five out of five, if room cleanliness can be more consistent. Good room temperature and easy to use temperature control panel. Hot shower temperature could be a tab hotter, but acceptable for one day stay.

Things Happen...

Overall experience was less than expected, Changed rooms 3 times in first hour. First room, refrigerator was not cold; husband pulled it from the wall to find it was unplugged. TV streaming services was unavailable, so front desk moved us to another room. Once in the 2nd room, exerienced same stuation with cable streaming, in adition to lighting in the bathroom not working. Moved to 3rd room and streaming service did work, but was very slow. Hotel staff was very nice and acomodating and each room and hotel was clean. Even with these issues, I WILL stay here again when in the area....

Great breakfast and staff.

Excellent room

My check-in and checkout was very pleasant. The staff is very nice and welcoming. There was an issue with window lock and the attentive staff said they will be sure to get it fixed. There are a bunch of extras with your stay that includes coffee and tea in the lobby all day, drinks in the evening, the buffet breakfast had turkey bacon, eggs, muffins, fruit and they even had cookies the front desk. The room was very clean and there was an updated decor throughout the hotel. The carpeting throughout the hotel hallway and elevator did make pulling luggage difficult and since pets allowed it is not a great thing to have so much carpeting. Maybe that can be removed in the future? Besides the carpeting and window lock everything else made for a really pleasant stay! Thank you to the Element Team for your hospitality!

The suite has a full size refrigerator and was very clean. The staff could be a little more knowledgeable but everything else was great

Staff was very nice checking in. It was a warm welcome when they had the hot chocolate set up. It was out of the stairs control of how wind people came in and was getting the hot chocolate they could not control how they were reaching in and touching things, the food without the tones or taking more than they needed so that was very unclean area. The room itself was very nasty on the walls they were boogers that look like it been there for a while. The floor was not clean spill something and wipe it up and it was so the towel itself is so dirty the bed felt like somebody was sleeping in it for years you roll over in a big hole of a body print , the vet has so much dirt in them all at night if seemed like somebody was smoking in the room for because it was coming into our room, making me and my daughter cough all night. The shower look like it still had dirt in there from the guest before, then we were killing stink bugs, all in the window , so yes, I will write this a zero if I could but like I stated the staff at the front desk were very nice it’s just the room cleaning. This was not up to par at all. I wish that we could’ve checked into another hotel, but before I even checked in, they had took my money out of my bank account , that was not going to be refundable at all. Would I come back to this hotel? I think I will not because of the nastiness in the room itself and the hotel had a very strong smell of mold in it and they were trying to disguise it with some air filters.

Only downfall was the water pressure in the shower. Staff was so friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great. I will stay again

I remember staying here for the first time back in 2016. Everything was really nice. The last couple of times, not so much. Our room was really in need of cosmetic repairs.

We stayed at the property due to unfortunate circumstance and the staff was amazing. They were so kind and helpful. Mrs. Jamie will have stars in her crown.

Staff were extraordinarily friendly and solicitous. The parking area was roughly paved and only one of the two elevator cars worked. Breakfast service and 24 hour beverage table were of high quality. The heavy room doors closed noisily all night long. We would stay again.

Pull out couch mattress was not comfortable. Machines in fitness room not working well. Staff was great. Friendly and helpful.

The road to the hotel was terrible, room too far from the elevator, bad views, no trash bags in trash cans, breakfast not enough for guests, guests have to go to eat within an hour of breakfast been served or every thing is gone, 98 of the staff don’t speak or understand English. No language barrier was terrible 😞

Pick somewhere else !

Well let’s say the pictures make this hotel seem like the best hotel for the price and location… be warned !! Lobby is beautiful. Check in was normal. ….. well I pre paid for my 1 night stay. First room I was given had about 8-9 lady bugs just crawling on the ceiling. Room AC was turned off and just smelled moldy. Second room I was given had 2 big weird bugs. At that point I just killed them and just prayed that nothing pops up. … shower head shows signs of water damage. This hotel has been let go. Maintenance and housekeeping must do a better job cleaning these rooms. Behind the night stand was so dusty that I put something to block the sight as at this point I was disgusted.

We had a great 2 day stay.

This place is nasty. It had cockroaches. The carpet is filthy. The staff is not professional. We had 2 rooms. One room had fallen smoke detector, the bathroom door was not closing, the lights in the shower wasn’t working. The window didn’t open. The other room had entrance light wasn’t working and had cockroaches. The manager was informed but never resolved the problem and so had to check out and get new hotel.

Excellent hotel, easy access, staff was nice, room was big and clean, and breakfast was very good.

Over priced

Customer service was subpar. No greeting or welcoming of any kind. Both repa just say on a stool looking at me until I greeted them. The lobby area is very nice. The rooms are ok. No real decor, couch needs to be cleaned. Very small TV, regular size frig, sink constantly dripped water. I had to put a bowl under it. Continental breakfast is very basic. I wouldn't stay there again for the price.

The hotel is listed as non smoking. However when we checked in the smell of cigarette smoke was overwhelming. We opened the windows hoping that would help but it didn’t help. I called the front desk and they immediately moved us to a new room that has no signs of cigarette smoke.

This was the most amazing hotel I stayed in US. The staff was super gentle, breakfast was delicious. I highly recommend this place

The road coming in had car sized pit holes, pool broken, not enough towels, phones didn’t work, no bags in the trash bins. Sheets were clean and staff nice. Seemed like it had changed hands and company doesn’t care to fix anything.

There were three people at the desk when we arrived and they told us to give them a minute while the three of them talked about something, not really sure. They told us that the room we booked was unavailable and we were offered a Queen suite instead of the King suite I originally reserved. After receiving our room keys, they told us that the elevators were behind the desk but they weren’t working, so my partner and I had to use the stairs and go all the way up and down from the top floor of the hotel over and over. Room feels dirty, if that makes sense. Hairs everywhere, things held together with zip ties, dirty shower corners.

This property has a lot of potential. Besides the multiple leak spots on the ceiling the lobby is nice. The style of the rooms are nice as well however the bathrooms, specifically the showers look disgusting. The water has a weird smell and the water pressure is weak. The toilet is easily clogged and the sinks are slow to drain. The staff aren’t the best either. While kind they don’t pay attention to detail and I was charged twice for another guest stay because we had the same last name. While it was finally resolved it should’ve never happened. I wouldn’t stay here again.

Nice hotel overall

It was a pleasant experience. The room was cozy and temp of the room was nice too. Hotel is close to an airport so if you're a light sleeper that is something. I had no issues at all with the planes. I believe the shower was a handicap room so it only had a shower curtain no door. So water could leak out easily. The location was easy to get to off the highway. Close to Princeton as well so plenty to do by it. Pool was closed during my stay so can not comment on that.

It was nice clean and a good hotel

We booked this hotel because of the proximity to the airport, and the pool. The proximity was good, but the pool was totally empty and torn up from renovations, and tbh, I don't think that picture is of the same pool room. The one at this property didn't have all those windows, and was appeared much smaller. Also, we put out the do-not-disturb as we didn't need our room serviced since we were only staying 2 nights. When we came back into our room in the evening, our room had "sort of" been serviced. The bed was made, and the towels replaced, but we had picked up 2 extra towels at the front desk, (making 4 total) and although they took 3 towels, they only replaced 1, leaving us with 2 total. The property doesn't have an icemaker, but they have ziplock bags with ice you can take from their little store. Only after you get to your room do you realize there is no ice bucket, so you pretty much just leave it melt in the sink. There is sort of a kitchenette, but what was supplied was random. One of our 2 rooms had 2 knives and 1 spoon, the other had no utensils at all.
