Great view of the bay handy to transport and restaurants. The staff were friendly efficient and helpful. The concierge was especially helpful in helping us find our way to everywhere we wanted - even finding us the info we wanted about a day trip to the mainland China - he was great!

They went out of their way for us

Great Stay at the Courtyard HK

Great stay at Courtyard. Fabulous location with public transport to Kowloon within 10 minutes. Staff at the executive lounge - Jane, Nina and Western were friendly and accommodating. Definitely our choice hotelfor HK.

We had a gorgeous Victoria Harbor view from our room! The staff were so helpful to assist us with anything we needed. The breakfast was delicious and quite extensive and for New Year we were surprised with Bubbly and wine in our room! See you next time!

Great Location

Stunning view of the harbour a comfortable relaxing room. Very good bed and pillows.The staff were friendly and efficient without being intrusive.Plenty of good places to eat in easy walking distance. Close to trams (Ding Dings) We had a great stay and would definitely stay there again

Sheung Wan gem

the hotel is in sheung wan, far from the crowd and so the streets quieter. Traveling to central and beyond is also easy because of the tram service. Thumbs up to the concierge team who were welcoming when we arrived and when we left, they helped us manage our luggages in the cab. The single bed is big, 120cm wide. Very pleasant stay.

Good, but lacks basics

The hotel is very clean and the staff is great. Baseline offering is very basic - no coffee or tea in the rooms and none in the lobby area either. Beds were quite comfortable.

Good location

Very nice hotel for the price, staff helpful & friendly, breakfast good with lots of choice, room a decent size, airport bus stop literally across the road, very handy for seeing all the sites in HK but on a relatively quiet road.

The hotel has a relatively small entry compared to other hotels we stayed in on this trip. The checkin desk resembles a passport checkpoint where they use scare tactics to upsell breakfast. We went upstairs to our assigned room and were shocked. The room was small and really dirty. The floor had food crumbs, the tiles appeared they hadn’t been mopped for a while and had what we can only guess had drink splashes. Most importantly, the toilet seat had pee and feces stains. We immediately called the front desk and they assigned us a different room, which wasn’t as bad but much smaller than the one before so we were not able to move around with our suitcases overing the floor. Interestingly, the vacuum cleaner was permanently parked in front of our room, and I never heard it run or see it most slightly to another spot. I don’t think it’s being used. The area around the hotel is very rundown and looks rough. Area across the bay is much nicer. We relied on the hotels ratings when we booked and after seeing the condition of the hotel my initial thought was that the ratings are inaccurate because somebody’s rating the hotel 10/10 right after there’s a bad review. I would not recommend this hotel in good conscience to anyone. Look at the pictures and decide for yourself.

This hotel was fantastic, the staff were all so helpful, polite and professional. Nothing was too much to ask of them. All staff had a good level of English which was very helpful for us with no level of Chinese! The room was so clean, and with amazing views (we booked harbour view). Vegetarian food options were prevalent here. The only thing I would say that wasn’t great was that there was tea and coffee available in the room, but no milk, so we had to call room service for milk which we were then charged for by the glass. Otherwise, this was a great stay.

Staff at reception was great! Free shuttle bus to station free. Room was small but clean Breakfast area it's not what picture you see on expedia. Plates and bowl were not nice. Coffee machine didnt work at times.

Practical and decent but not chic

A very convenient location and functional. Friendly and efficient stuff. Slightly off s’entre but public commuting is easy if necessary. No complaints except if very small rooms (and everything). And breakfast is mediocre at best. It’s good for business trip where no luxury or romanticism is needed.

Accommodation probably need to find ways to control noise pollution created by annoying guests

The last time I stayed in this hotel was 2018 before the riot and Covid hits Hong Kong. After four years it's still the same. Location is perfect while all the staffs are very friendly and helpful. The room is always quiet and super clean. You won't regret it.

Something unexpected, but good overall

On the first day, the room was not available when we checked in at 2pm as the room was just returned late (according to the hotel). We were allowed to rest and wait at the business lounge. The room was then available after an hour (at 3pm). However, we found that the flushing button of the toilet was not working and requested changing the room. The staff at front desk was helpful and everything was settled finally. Apart from those, the stay was nice and the harbour view was great as well.

Disappointed

Disappointed. We ordered the meal at 7:00pm and requested to deliver it at 8pm, but finally it was delivered at 8:50pm. Can you imagine a 4 star hotel can serve me like this? I was almost as starving as gonna call an ambulance. Hotel even didnt provide any compensations

Its was so Great my family staycation to Celebrate my 7yrs old Daughter. Courtyard Marriott also give the complimentary Cake.So sweet of them!Room was so Clean,Comfortable bed,Aircon also working good,City View can make me relax especially night time..Thank you to all staff!They are all Very Friendly and everyone greet Happy Birthday to my Daughter.we will surely stay again in the future,I will recommend to book w/buffet breakfast.The food in Momo Cafe was really Yummy...They refilled the food so quick.

The stay was nice. We enjoyed the sea view very much. However, the choice and the taste of food in the breakfast can be improved further. The scrambled egg was not good at all.

Close to Central - but feels like the real HK

Rooms are in excellent condition, great bed and amenities. Close to Central, but very local with lots of great food choices within a short walk. The Penang restaurant was a stand out with great malaysian food at a very reasonable price.

Great location, smallish but well fitted room, decent breakfast. No vegetarian options in the asian section however lots in the continental side. Very helpful concierge staff. The shuttle service to central from hotel is very useful.

A pleasing staying experience. Lower mark in amenities is inevitable given the relatively small size of this hotel and its building restrictions on a small footprint. But this should not detract from its otherwise impressive qualities.

A room with an advertised “city view” is not a view of a building across the street.

Only knock was house cleaning service. Its a taxi ride to the action but only about 5 minutes.

Great hotel in a good location; walking distance to many of the sites and with airport express bus right in front of hotel. I did not know hotel before, but booked it in an emergency for one overnight stay. Very friendly and helpful staff. Would stay there again next time.

Good value for money

The room was clean and comfortable with a harbour view. Compare to other hotel rooms in HK, this is a very good price for money, though the local area was a bit old and messy.

Great service

Amazing service. A cool part of town if you are there for vacation. A bit inconvenient if you are doing doing business in Central. If you want a. If you want a view of the harbour ask for a high floor or you get a view of the highway which is also loud.

Trip to HK

We spent a week visiting HK. Great location especially for the Tram which gives you a great feel for the city. Hotel was clean, staff very friendly, rooms spacious (for HK). Some really nice & new restaurants & cafes close by (e.g. feather & bone, NOC coffee

Sadly no bar in the hotel and a distance from touristy areas.

Worth Every Penny

It's a bit pricey, but if you want to treat yourself, this is a true delight. The decor is fabulous. Rooms are comfortable, clean, and organized. The staff are super professional and polite. Very easy check-in and super cordial check-out. Even the muffins were great! No complaints whatsoever.

Medium quality hotel with high price

With harbour view but skewed away from central spot, nice breakfast (comfortable seating and enjoyable varieties). But the basin was leaking when just checking in the room.

Reliable Marriott Courtyard

We stayed here primarily due to location which is a little further away from the chaotic Central District. Taxi from the airport if you don’t fancy the bus was £36. The location wasn’t a problem as the hotel shuttle took us to the ferries and train station, running to a published schedule. Our smallish room overlooked Victoria Harbour with stunning views from the 19th floor. Only issue with the room was that it backed on to the three elevator shafts. During the day the noise was hardly noticeable but at night more so and we turned up the air conditioning fan to mask it. Beware the rooms ending in “01”. Staff were brilliant - whilst waiting for a shuttle we were taken to the cafe and given coffee with their compliments. The Concierge will help with sightseeing and restaurants. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Dinner in the Momo Cafe at night was disappointing- lots of seafood but little taste. However I have to say that the place was packed and with limitless food the customers seemed very happy!

Good hotel and well equipped facilities, room was nice and the service overall was fantastic. The only let down was the lack of dining options.

Typical Business Hotel

It was a typical business hotel, clean but a bit small. I booked a room with harbour view but the view was just so-so as I was given a room on a lower floor. I had great expectation of the harbour view so I felt a bit diappointed.

The hotel is a bit far away from the places you want to travel around HongKong! A bit clumpsy! But if you have a good hotel manager to guide you the shortest & quickest ways, you are really lucky! I would recommend this hotel for the amazing... breakfast they serve. So good & delicious to start your day & keep running !!

Easy access to local neighborhoods and main areas

5-min walk to Sai Ying Pun where you can find the canton style BBQ goose, hidden acupressure master. 10-min walk to a famous hotpot place that offers 20 kinds of soup base in Sheung Wan. And 5-min cab ride to the party places in Soho and Lan Kwai Fong while Causeway Bay the shopping paradise is only 5 MTR stops away.

Nice hotel but a bit out of the way

There isn't much around the hotel as it's located in a residential area. But it's still very convenient with the service of hotel shuttle and tram. Staff from the executive lounge recommended me a nearby traditional dessert shop which was very good. Great service and unbeatable hospitality from all front desk, executive lounge and concierge staff.

Well presented hotel, although the standard rooms are a bit small. We were offered an upgrade to an exceptionally nice twin room but had to turn it down as we wanted a double bed and the queen beds in the twin room are too small to share. Would still recommend for the price and location in HK.

The reception staff did not communicate well as I have emailed before checking in to add a guest name on it yet they seem to have no clue at all when my other friend arrived. Not satisfying and attitude was bad Room was not as spacious and the slippers just when I slipped on
