I didn't spend hardly anytime at the hotel, as I was with family at the hospital the majority of the time, but it was clean, the front desk staff was feiendly, heloful, and efficient, and the breakfast had nice options for a light or somewhat heavy breakfast and all the other possible breakfast options everyone would like to have.
Great stay, good breakfast, friendly staff!
Convenient for visiting family.
Clean, quiet, handy location
Very nice and clean
Great property. Kids loved the pool. Dining is limited outside the hotel but there is a grocery store across the street.
When we are in the area, it is our choice of stay. It is always clean. Staff is always nice and you feel safe and comfortable.
Very nice, clean, new property.
Very nice. Quiet stay. Friendly staff
Was very comfy
Friendly staff
The check in was easy & quick. Chelsea was very professional & friendly. Would recommend this hotel.
Grand children loved the pool. Fresh cookies upon arrival.
Very pleasant stay.
Is very professional
Worst staff.
The day shift staff both days were rude and condescending. The hotel was pretty empty so maybe they had nothing to do, or maybe it was the children with me that set them off. Either way, the way my daughter and her children were not treated well. When I would inquire about issues i was told there were none. The evening staff were much nicer and agreed the day staff come across very rude. The hotel itself is very nice. Maybe with a change in staff it wouldnt have been so empty. Will never stay there again.
After hours of driving it was the most comfortable place to get to. Quiet, clean and safe.
Had to leave because of terribly rude staff, they were rude from the minute we checked in. We had moldy food behind our couch and when we asked them to clean it they were rude again. Ice machines were not working, lounge hours were 430 to 1030 and no staff was there. We checked several nights no one was at the desk or working the bar. Breakfast was awful, and we were rushed so they could clean early and closed it down 30 min before 10. We were charged 150$ extra for our dogs because they claimed we damaged a towel and charged us 75$ a day for 2 dogs for 4 days when it was supposed to be 25 per dog per day. So we paid 150$ for a towel. We called to talk to them about our bill and were told we damaged several towels and we didnt. My son had digestive issues and stained a towel. Not my dog. I tried to explain it and she said I would have to talk to a manager and I left my number and they never called me back. Very rude, falsely charged us. No ice, tv remote didnt work and they were rude when I asked for batteries for it. We were planning on staying several more days but we couldnt take the staff and they barely cleaned our room. Disgusting, rude and we left and had to go to another hotel. Never whiped down anything, didnt vacuum, didnt make beds, didnt replace coffee or anything. After what they charged per night plus dog fee to not even get fresh coffee or cups or towels. We went to ask for blankets for pull out bed and were told there were none.
Trip
Great place
A nice hotel, I only stayed one night as part of a road trip. Very friendly and helpful staff and a nice breakfast included. The room was huge and comfortable.
Check in was easy hotel quiet but busy gave up on breakfast on the first day not enough tables for the size of the hotel . on the second day we were the only ones there so breakfast was easier , just a belly filler nothing special .Resturants within driving distant ,grocery store opposite
The hotel is nice great place to stay.
I enjoyed the room and the staff. The laundry was convenient and coffee was great as well as the Continental breakfast!
Room was spacious and nicely furnished. Breakfast was ample and excellent. There was a nice pool and even a lounge serving alcohol on site. Also a good grocery store across the street. Location very near Scott’s Bluff. Not a scenic neighborhood but it seemed safe. Restaurant options nearby were very limited. Overall, highly recommended
Ok
Good value but the breakfast staff were not very kid friendly
I stay here every time I travel for business in Scottsbluff/Gering. Always clean and consistently well managed!
Check in was great. Room clean. Our neighbors got in after 10 pm and I had to listen to their headboard hit our wall for a while😳. Elevator smelled like someone pooped in it. 😣. Quiet location. Good value since they have complementary hot breakfast.
.
Room was nice, clean with very comfy beds, shower heads should updated. Front desk staff have a very matter-of-fact attitude..nothing friendly in their greeting, except for the new trainee, he was warm and welcoming and seemed interested in conversing during ck in and greeted us every time he saw us. Breakfast sausage was cold...there was a vat with a sign that said "sausage gravy" but nothing in it. When I asked about it, the attendant simply said, "we don't serve gravy" in passing...wow, ok, then don't have that kettle sitting out on the counter is my thought.
Property was clean and in good repair.
Nice hotel.
It was clean but the room did smell a little musty when we first arrived. We turned the a/c on, then the smell went away.
Very clean and nice. Didn’t like the hard pillows.
Clean location with friendly staff
Very clean location with friendly staff. The woman working in the breakfast room during out visit was nice and the breakfast room was immaculate and organized. The Seattle's Best coffee was so delicious that i ordered some to arrive home before i do. I stayed at this location 2 years ago and had the best biscuits and gravy for breakfast and was disappointed that in my 4 day visit, there was no biscuits and gravy offered. Also, I was told there was no alcohol selection at the lounge, which was disappointing. I enjoyed having the pool all to myself, but i wished there was a jacuzzi. My real concern was after spending $750 to stay there for 4 days, i was immediately told no when i asked if i could check out at noon instead of 11. I stayed in 6 hotels over 2 weeks, and this was the only hotel that would not consider allowing an extra hour for check out. Surprisingly as it was a Monday and the hotel was dead. I would still return as its close to my family and an overall great stay.
The room reeked of cigarette smoke. I was moved to three different rooms. All the rooms Stunk of cigarettes. My throat has been irritated all day. My sinuses are congested. I’m a pilot and I was not able to complete my second flight of the day, so I ended up losing money because of this hotel stay. The hotel was not willing to issue me a refund. it was literally the worst experience I’ve had at a hotel in years. I still have not recovered from it.
good but disappointed
Disappointed that check in was delayed past the posted time and that the pool was unavailable. We had an extended stay room. It was very spacious.
Room was nice but shower was not clean, there were many hairs left in shower from last guest.
Place great place to stay . Only issue we had is when booking through Expedia the hotel will not let you change dates even when shortening stay if you’ve booked through a third party . They would not let us shorten our stay by 1 day so ended up losing that money .
Friendly staff. Clean property, with nice facilities.
Overall a very nice property. Breakfast was good, and staff was attentive. Rooms have a lot of space, and were well stocked for coffee/tea. Located at one of the main intersections in Gering, with easy access to downtown, and a straight run to the Monument.
Better breakfast than we expected.
Nice and new !
Satisfied
Everything was good.
Staff were friendly. Breakfast ok.
Good breakfast, great staff.
Cobblestone Suites Are Sweet
Darren, the night manager, was very helpful. As the morning manager. My sis, and I were thankful you had a room. The breakfast was fantastic, all the staff were nice.
All good
Great place for a couple nights to see the local national monuments. Very helpful staff and quiet location
Breakfast should start sooner on weekends,and/or have something more than just coffee available at 6:30 am for those of us getting and early start.
Pretty good overall- a bit pricey but good
Good staff
We love staying at this location for baseball tournaments! It’s very close to the fields
Not the cleanest place I have stayed or the nicest staff, but was acceptable for the price we paid.
It was really clean
Vacation
Very comfortable stay. Nice hot breakfast as well!
Clean
Everything is very clean. Lots of room.
It was a very comfortable stay.
I would have preferred a smart TV with better options
Clean and comfortable. Breakfast was limited and only “so so”
Just wanted to thank Valerie and all her staff for making my Mom’s 80th birthday an absolute success!! The staff went above and beyond to accommodate our group.
It was in excellent condition and pleasing to the eye.
Nice
Went to niece's graduation and a week before we changed our booking because we didnt need that big of a room. They didnt have any to give us and we ended up here. Pulled into town and got to the motel got checked in and in the room and everything was nice and clean. After we sit down for a minute the front desk called and ask if the room was all good and asked if we needed anything. Out of all of our travels we have never experienced that. We will always stay here evertime we come back.
Our room was very clean and comfortable the staff was very attentive and the breakfast was good.
Excellent! Clean and quite! Great staff!
Limited WiFi
Nice and Consistent!!
Always nice to stay here. Pillows are a little hard, but overall a consistent good experience.
Double Charged, Luke Warm Showers
Charged my debit card at check in and said they weren't actually paid. I showed them the charge on my account which got me ibto my room for the night. Was then locked out of my room the next day. When i went to ask they claimed the charge still hadnt gone through. Said it myst be me and my banks fault. I told them i cant talk to anyone die to it being outside of business hours. They then made me pay AGAIN. The authorization is still on my account from the original charge. After researching this it appears to be an issue THEY need to fix. I contacted the mananger and am still waiting for a resolution. Having an extra $400 withdrawn is NOT something easily absorbed. The desk employee I dealt with was less than understanding or kind. In respects to the room it was fine but the water was barely what i would consider warm. Will never stay again.
Small, clean and quiet facility. Back side of the property is not the best view. The community can do better.
The beds are comfortable and clean. The rooms always look nice. I’ve stayed here multiple times. One of the things I like best is that it is very quiet and they have a great breakfast.
Stayed here for one night with my young family. Staff were friendly and helpful. Property was very clean and well maintained. Lovely lounge space and the breakfast was a hit with the whole family.
Great place to stay
Colleen
Nice accommodations. Only wish that drinks or food would have been allowed in the pool area.
Have stayed at a few Cobblestone's, really nice!
Great option!
We stayed at Cobblestone the beginning of March. We chose this place partially because we could bring our doodle with us. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The rooms and lobby/breakfast area were clean and the breakfast was good. The only negative was the loud vehicles driving in town late at night, but thats nothing the hotel can change. Im only mentioning it in case other potential guest needs it super quiet to sleep. Id recommend ear plugs for those guests. 😀 We will stay here again the next time we go to Gering.
The neighborhood is very rundown. The drains do not work in the bathroom. The feeling of the room was depressing. I would not recommend staying there, nor would I stay there again in the future.
Great location in gearing. Grocery store nearby for snacks and a nice restaurant/bar.
Our behinds were sore from a long drive. So, the treadmill, bike, and indoor pool were much appreciated. The new washer and dryer also helped us for our next week on the road. They also have a tasty peppermint syrup for your morning coffee.
Disappointed
We were disappointed that we had no local TV channels. We found it very difficult to adjust the thermostat. Most of the evening it was extremely hot - finally set the temperature to 58 degrees and it was doable.
Issues with room temp and water
So the temprature was either super hot or cold, very difficult to get the hvac to work properly. The shower barely worked, dribbled water out and tub barely drained.
MY PREFERED PLACE TO STAY CLEAN RROMS AND COMFY BEDS
Stay was enjoyable. Clean, well kept hotel. Friendly staff.
nice place
.
Positives- Clean! Great water pressure in shower. Breakfast Negatives- The front desk lady made it painful to check in. She read everyone each word pertaining to cleanliness and no smoking or would be charged $250 fee. I've stayed at at least 100 different hotels and never have i experienced a lengthy check in process as i did here. Then while she was trying to get through all the monotonous garble, a lady walked past with her grandchildren. So the desk clerk then focused her attention on her saying "hey, you didn't pay for those kids to be here". Are you kidding me? I'm a grandma that travels for Thanksgiving and has my grandchildren hang out with me at the hotel with a swimming pool and I've never been acosted about the kids coming in with me like i witnessed last night. This desk clerk woman really should become a cop. Anyway... besides that - the pillows were pretty bad, so bring your own. And in our room the tv wouldn't come on, but i didn't want to deal with the front desk lady's long-winded talking, so i just let it go. The hotel overall isn't bad, but because of my check in experience i will not be staying here on our way back through this Saturday.
best swimming pool
Gering Gem!
Easy check-in, clean hotel. Hallways smell clean and fresh. Very quiet.
Great room, nice facility. Savannah at the front desk is very nice and thorough with check in. Lovely bar area for those looking to wind down. I would recommend cobblestone to anyone, anytime!
Cobblestone Inn has yet to disappoint! I travel for work, when I need a good night’s rest with a comfortable bed I find a Cobblestone Inn. The property’s always feel clean & new, and they a good continental breakfast.
Our stay
Our room what very spacious and there was plenty of drawers and closet space to unpack (A huge plus for us). The only thing in our room that was off-putting was the shower. The shower head needs replacing and the tub was very dirty and slick with soap residue from past uses. I suggest guest pack shower shoes and DO NOT take a bath. Nights were loud. Banging as if someone was bouncing a ball against the wall or floor woke us up both nights. It was inconsistent so as soon as we fell back asleep it would start again. The only good thing about the hot breakfast was the waffles. The eggs and sausage were so-so (typical pre-cooked food) and the potatoes were dry and extremely hard. We typically don't have room service in our room for short stays so I can't leave a review for that. Lobby staff were friendly and lobby is inviting.
Hot breakfast items to choose from along with regular items. Clean rooms, hallways, dining area. Nice all around. I would stay here again.
Very nice room and wonderful staff
Nice clean property
Comfortable beds,
They cleaned room but didn’t refill the coffee pods!
The only thing I would say is there is no information in the room to let you know about what time things open up where the ice machine was, etc.
Absolutely love this hotel. This was the second time ive stayed here and it was a great experience. Very friendly staff and great location.
Nice basic hotel with the addition of a small bar. Didn’t expect that
Excellent stay
Worked great for us. Staff was great and friendly.
Convenient location in South Gering, NE. Clean rooms. Only issue is the sink and tub drained very slow.

Annoying housekeepers
The overall trip was good. Only complaint was housekeeping knocking at our door multiple times before checkout. Also we were running a little behind so we got a knock at 11 and told them we’d be out in a few minutes. Two minutes later another housekeeper, an old lady knocked and threatened to get a manager if we weren’t out in 5 minutes
