Liked the fact that they provided buffet dinner even though there weren't many guest during the low season.
I adored staying in this hotel. The staff were so attentive and my room of a high standard. I would highly commend staying at this hotel over all others in this stunning part of Greece
Very nice hotel. Excellent stay. Highly recommended.
We booked this property last-minute due to a strike that cancelled our original plans, so I didn't know what to expect. The property is gorgeous with a million-Euro view, easily walkable into the town and to the archeological site of Delphi. I couldn't be happier with this property and if I am ever back in this part of the world would gladly book here again.
We checked in very late and the front desk person was extremely helpful in getting us settled and explaining to us accessing the main points around town. We had a complimentary bottle of wine and dessert waiting in our room. The location and style of the hotel were excellent
Good for what it is
Hotel was good for a one night trip to Delphi. Morning breakfast wasn’t very good.
Great location. Great view. Food average.
Food better here than other Amalia properties.
This is a BEAUTIFUL property in Delphi! It's about a 20min (easy) walk to the archaeological site, but the hotel itself feels like a retreat. Great view of the valley, lovely pool, stylish rooms. Great breakfast (included) and convenient to other restaurants
One of our best hotel stays. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating in solving a few minor issues. The hotel is large but feels cozy and very relaxing. Calmimg decor, stunning view and super location. Pool area is lovely too.
Well equipped hotel with lots of space and great views.
Views were spectacular! Pool was set up beautifully! Great staff! We loved it!!
Perfect Delphi stay
Architectural gem of a hotel in a stunning hilltop setting with sea views. Staff couldn't have been more friendly and the food was very good
This is the only place we stay in Delphi! Fourth visit and such peaceful views and easy parking! The rooms are cool and spacious and the service is lovely.
Our stay was pleasant but not outstanding. The hotel is dated, the food was not very good and the pool area lacked adequate shade and seating. However, the location was beautiful and the staff was friendly and helpful.
Very James Bond style luxury. Hidden and quiet with an amazing view
Great views, service, and room
The Amalia has had some great upgrades since I visited 7 years ago. Rooms are clean and sophisticated with great views. Breakfast was great and the staff were very helpful and friendly. My only complaint, which is small, is that our room didn’t get as cold as the one our family was in. The room temperature was comfortable, but I always prefer a cold room. We will definitely stay here again.
Delphi with a view
Wonderful service and beautiful property
So lovely! The architecture and scenery are stunning. Staff were so friendly and helpful.
If the system allows 5 plus star. I will not hesitate to give 5 to the hotel. Excellent hotel, all our group members were very satisfied here. Awesome experience.
Stayed here in November 1989 and just as special as I remember.
Helpful staff, mediocre amenities, terrible breakfast.
It is a beautiful place with astonishing view. Very clean and professional staff.
Hotel was lovely, views from the balcony were incredible. Food was OK but not great, but there were lots of great restaurants around.
Beutiful location, very nice spacious hotel with a large swimming pool. Excellent service and attentive staff.
Lots of amenities, parking is easy. Gorgeous views, the grounds are stunning. Staff was great, rooms were clean and comfortable. Great stop if visiting the area.
Excellent
Wonderful hotel with a beautiful view. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The room was clean and had great facilities.
Great location
Loved the location. Easy to find. Breakfast in the am was superb! So many options. Beds are comfortable and staff is very pleasant!
This hotel was stunning; beautiful location, close to local shops, restaurants and sights. The breakfast was perfect, and views amazing. Lovely grounds, and complimentary baklava was delicious.
Great convenient place. Good food good quality
Great hotel with very nice view and great staff. I only stay one night and every thing is fine except 3 of us only received two bottles of water. And ask extra bottles of water is a little bit challenging, may be because of all the tourists group and bus for this busy hotel , some time is hard to take care the traveler not related to the tourist bus group. Other then this , the hotel is wonderful
Outstanding!
A beautiful and comfortable hotel with wonderful views and friendly staff.
Can't say enough good things about our stay at Amalia Hotel. Kind staff, very clean, beautiful hotel. Our room was very spacious with great amenities. The included buffet breakfast was above and beyond what we expected. We also thoroughly enjoyed an afternoon by the pool. The hotel is just a few minutes walk to the main streets with endless food and shopping options. We also highly recommend dining at Epikouros Restaurant or Iniohos Restaurant. Absolutely delicious meals at both restaurants and very friendly staff.
It was good.
The property and buildings are beautiful and the place is spotless. It’s steps away from the ruins. The surroundings are quiet and the breakfast is the best.
Amazing location and view. Very courteous staff.
I will continue to come to the Amalia in Delphi. I love this hotel.
The Amalia offers first class amenities, with excellent customer service. I have stayed with them in several locations throughout Greece, but Delphi is my favorite.
We had a lovely stay and the staff were friendly and helpful!
Solid Hotel
A well run and maintained hotel, good atmosphere, good rooms and service. Breakfast was fine, very happy.
Excellent modestly priced up scale facilities. Beautiful grounds and view. Easy walk to local tavernas which were very lively and fun. Our room was huge!
Nothing to dislike!
The hotel was fine. However we had noisy guests from tour groups who talked n ran in the corridors at night.
Just Perfect
This was one of the highlights of our extended holidays. Everything was just perfect - check in, the room, the view....I can' fault this hotel.
As expected from a chain, everything was very proper. Particularly like the fireplace which added a touch of cosiness and class. I also appreciated the relative ease of parking, although if the hotel is full you'll still have to parking some distance away. Property is old, but facilities is doing well with up-keeping.
Location to archeological sites is very convenient.
I had told the person at reception that my husband had difficulty walking and with stairs but still she allocated a room right at the end of a fairly long corridor albeit it was at the same level. And it's not that they were fully booked and we were checking in at 230 ..so it's almost like she didn't listen to me
Nice place.
Great hotel! I loved the location as it was at a fantastic location from the center of the little town, not to far, not too close. I will definitely stay here again
Beautiful view and easy access to Ancient Delphi. The staff are so welcoming and helpful! Clean and quiet. Stunning and well kept garden and pool. If you’re going to Delphi it’s the ideal place to stay.
Dated hotel but fairly clean and tidy. Rooms need an upgrade. Staff friendly and helpful.
Wonderful service, clean and great breakfast included
Beautiful hotel in an amazing location on top of mountains. Good breakfast. Very helpful staff.
Perfect location. Nice view and pool
Nicest place I have ever stayed in for a price that seems too good to be true
We had such a wonderful time. The hotel allowed us to use the grounds while we waited for check in time, so we enjoyed the pool, the patio area for lunch, and the bar. The entire staff where friendly and accommodating.
Wonderful hotel with terrific views.
Beautiful property in a serene setting. Nice staff and great for a home base along a magnificent coastline. Thanks so much for a memorable visit, Christy Hauser
Nice, large and old fashioned hotel, roomy for tour buses with seniors. Nice views from room.
Beautiful view of mountains
Avoid
We had a triple room. The beds were all bumpy and the linen were humid…Pack your breakfast because we are not very difficult but not one of us 3 was able to find something to their taste…
View and fire
View !!! Fire in the lobby
Solid no issues
Nice location, just steps away from the town.
Really cool hotel in the mountains! Helpful and friendly staff. Breakfast was amazing! Furniture should be renewed but everything else is great. Ca. 1 km from historical site.
A safe bet in Delphi
Nice mountain view from our 1st floor room. Overall a good hotel for the price. Although an older hotel it is in good condition but soundproofing is not good. We could hear conversation and television from the next door room. Luckily neither lasted long or late into the night.
Stunning view. Just don't eat dinner there.
View was stunning. Plus, with great balcony and chairs. Bed was comfortable. Room condition was ok. The real bummer was dinner. The dinner food was inexcusably bad. Almost inedible and I'm easy.
Nice hotel
Personell is very kind, good service, nice view from the room.
Great location, very nice breakfast, amazing view! The hotel room was a little warm, and the A/C was a bit weak, but still a nice stay in Delphi.
Nice hotel with friendly staff
perfect comfort and hospitality at Delphi
Super professional and friendly staff! Constantina at reception was very helpful, cheerful and clearly is all about the customer. Our room was spacious and comfortable, and as we had decided to take a bit of a breather during this stay once we'd toured the archaeological site of Delphi, Amalia was the perfect place to relax. Breakfast is a huge, wonderful variety of local and traditional Greek foods along with anything that people are looking for to feel like home. Dining staff was squared away and very attentive. Along with the amazing sites at Delphi, Amalia Hotel rounded a perfect stay.
Great overall hotel, property is much bigger than we expected. Good pool surrounded by a nice view. We walked around the area and def think this hotel is probably the best in town! Would stay again if we visit.
ALL WAS WONDERFULL
Very nice, large hotel in Delphi. Staff was polite and room was clean. The bathroom was spacious and water pressure was excellent. Breakfast was buffet and good choices. Free parking and large swimming pool. Hotel is a little dated, but well maintained.
Close to Delphi archeological ruins. Hotel has it's own free parking lot in front, which is a definite plus as other hotels in town have only street parking on very narrow streets. Good breakfast. Friendly staff. Rooms are a little dated. Spacious pool but had many dead insects floating it it- like a lot!
Very good
This is the premier hotel in Delphi. The large main area of the hotel overlooks a town far below and the sea as well as the mountains. I would stay here again for the view alone. I traveled here in February, which is their slow season. The hotel was very nice and quiet and the staff was very friendly.
Lobby area , food, view was very good. Rooms were not clean ...clumps of hair found in the entry, dayed rooms and bathrooms. Shower curtains moldy.
I would recommended this hotel
Great hotel with a location
Stunning
Wonderful experience. A retro hotel maintained to a pretty good standard. Used by lots of groups, but still with excellent service and good food. And you can't beat the views!
Location was good and hotel was very nice but staff was extremely rude, from the person who helped us with luggage (didn’t say a word) the the front desk people who made us feel like we were imposing on him when we went to check out. I would not stay here again because of the staff.
Great facility in a great location. Staff was friendly and efficient. Outdoor pool very nice and food authentic Greece
Beautiful location.
Terrific locale-hotel is a bit dated, reminds me of a ski lodge from the 1980’s, but the scenery is beautiful.
Large hotel
Buffet breakfast was excellent with large variety of local foods. Spacious private balcony overlooking the mountains. Large room with comfortable bed.
Good location but property needs upgrades.Booked half board which came with buffet supper and breakfast.Breakfast and supper mediocre
Amazing views, beautiful pool and grounds, comfortable room, attentive service.
A big, beautiful spacious property with friendly staff, extraordinary pool and a perfect view of a beautiful valley and sea. The meals were first class, tasty and not very expensive. Room service is offered too. We will definitely stay at this hotel the next time we are in Greece.
average room with beautiful view. 10 bus loads of tours come in every day.
this is a gorgeous frank lloyd wright looking property with a fantastic setting, beautiful, really astounding gardens, a nice pool and amazing views. the lodge inside is wonderful. the food is great. only problem is that the mattress are actually marble slabs and the pillows are the cheap foam ones that do not give an inch and instead make your head roll around all night. i loved this place and i didn't sleep a wink. so that's an easy fix for them. i hope they do fix that tiny but crucial problem. if so i'm moving in!!!
It was beautiful and the scenery was breathtaking. The pool was amazing.... I just wish we knew it closed at 8:30 as this was part of our descision in booking.
Beautiful view overlooking the sea and great pool.
A moderate hotel
The receptionists are very nice. The room is OK, but just a bit old. The balcony view is great. Breakfast can be improved in terms of taste and variety. However, when I look back on its price, everything is acceptable.
Excellent location Nice pool Nice customer service
The hotel was very basic and functional; in truth ideal for a short stay. We were lucky to have a large room with a balcony which was not overlooked. Some of the rooms were very small and many overlooked each other. The pool was lovely and very clean. There were insufficient deckchairs or umbrellas. The hotel could really do with having the bar staffed all of the time with someone who went around and asked if guests wanted anything. Many of the guests we spoke to would really have liked at least a drink but there was noone around to ask
Great pool. Nice breakfast buffet and dinner buffet.
Can't beat this for value and service.
I've stayed at this hotel six times. That should tell you how I feel about this property. The service is always top notch. The breakfast is wonderful. It had to be to satisfy my grand children and the view is glorious. The rooms are clean and comfortable. This is just a great place to stay and enjoy not only the ruins at Delphi but all the surrounding area.
Excellent location, views etc. Rooms slightly Spartan,
