Incredible experience with a truly amazing staff. Rooms were a little warn down but the property and privacy/quiet nature of the resort itself helped absorb that one fault. Will absolutely be back!

The snorkeling was incredible. They had a different indian thali three times a day. The food was excellent. The team was super nice.

The resort should’ve been an idyllic paradise retreat exuding luxury and tranquility as an adult only prestige property but it was none of those things. Decor is generally in need of refresh in most of the accommodation areas. Staff are forgetful and management is chaotic. The general ambience is noisy and inappropriate to the setting. In bad weather there is next to nothing to do other than stay in the Villa or the small indoor bar. Very poor value for money and would not come again.

Very quiet. It was almost like having the entire island to ourselves. All staff was great.

We had the pleasure of staying at this lovely resort for 1 week and it was a lucky week since we avoided most of the rain! We had a lot of sun and a lot of fun and relaxation. The views were spectacular and since it was our honeymoon they upgraded us to the sunset room! Which had more privacy and it was just beautiful. The staff here have all been so kind and always have a smile on their face. They had 3 amazing restaurants and 2 bars and we were always fed and kept full! We love sushi and had amazing food at the Japanese restaurant and had excellent service. Our waitress Shanika was so kind and helpful during our stay, along with everyone else who served us this week. We also had lovely excursions such as the dolphin tour, the sunset boat, and even swam with huge nurse sharks! This trip is one to remember! Our private butler, Manu, went above and beyond to make sure our stay was excellent. We would definitely love to come back here! We had the time of our lives! We had great food, great hospitality and unforgettable views.

We have a lovely stay at the Adaaran. It’s a little paradise. Food is excellent. Cocktails are great. The room are lovely and so is the private pool. The surrounding waters are pristine and we saw multiple sea turtles while snorkeling around our villa which was definitely the highlight of our trip. The staff provided us a lovely cake and bottle of bubbly to celebrate our honeymoon. Another amazing benefit is the resort is only a 15 minute speedboat from the airport. This allowed us to avoid waiting around for a seaplane or transfers which added immensely to our trip. Highly recommend.

All the staff, food, room were amazing. What I didn't like was the dolphin sunset tour. Instead of giving the dolphins their space and watching from afar all 5 boat captains from the different resorts were chasing them down. Which caused the dolphins to get stressed out. Being prior US Coast Guard we would fine people heavily (5000$ ) if we saw that kind of behavior from boats. Other than that it was amazing. Careful for the jacuzzi tub, 2nd night there I slipped in it and cut my big toe pretty good which kind of put a damper on the rest of our stay there. Besides those two issues it was amazing and took our breath away every day.

This was trip of a LIFETIME>. It is on the other side of the world and to get there was difficult. But well worth it. From the pool guy Lahiru, the best waitress in the world, Arzoo, the Chef Abdul, Butler Manu and Manager Adams. This place is great. Stayed in the Honeymoon suite over water villa. Really nice service and nice place.

Amazing stay at Vadoo. Abdul the butler was incredible we didn’t need to worry about anything he took the best care of us thank you Abdull. Agra was fantastic welcoming us every day with a smile . Our stay was awesome

Amazing tropical paradise. Private butler is a gimmick, still have to walk to the bar and get your own drinks and no room service. But the water is amazing and the walk to the room is a joy every time.

Perfect honeymoon location. Our buttler Mina(Minakshi) took care of my wife and I as if we were her family. What ever we needed, food, snorkeling, kayaking,...or the extra activities outside the resort we just tell her and its done. She was available 24/7. Food at the restaurants was amazing with a different menu daily. Room was perfect, bed very comfortable, batroom with TV, back outdoor area with jacuzzi, front balcony pool perfect size for watching sanset, the fish that comes to the stairs of the room that go into the ocean were as if AI created them. Only thing that i would add is a small boat with a bigger one when going to a sand bank trip because the one that takes you to the sand bank cannot come all the way to the land so you have to swim or if you're tall walk from the boat other than that resort is perfect, worth every penny!

We had the most amazing time in the Adaaran for our honeymoon. Our butler was called Abdul and was the most attentive and friendliest person! we have literally 0 negative comments. the whole experience, the service, the island, the staff the excursions - everything was perfect. we are already discussing how quickly we can go back!!!

The water villa experience is interesting, but that is all. will not come back , especially considering the price. Tiny and low quality of beach. many transfer boats pass by the house reel side. Also service was no close to a 5star standard: No towel, shower gel or shampoo at public shower rooms; luggage management; Staff - eg checkout time is 12 at noon, and the staff knocked the door at 11:59. Very low quality of food - they call a place the fine dining restaurant - the food was presented in very large plates, but the quality and taste are very poor. The daily buffet have Indian food only. They still feed the sharks everyday, and it is banned in Maldives, because sharks learn to associate people with food and they may harass divers visiting the same site

Love their service, and excellent view with great experiences along with many activities and different courses of food included within their all inclusive. Free Transportation at this time is a plus!

Had the best honeymoon thanks to the staff her anshul was a phenomenal butler and sella gives the greatest massages on the planet. Everyone was so kind and attentive and made just helped make our honeymoon more than we couldve ever dreamed of.

I had an amazing time at Adaaran Prestige Vadoo. The most relaxing place ever. The staff was also very attenuative and grateful for having guest. Highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to unplug and enjoy some quality time with a significant other or someone special

It is a small island. The room was big with a cute small balcony pool and bathroom. Our butler was amazing, he provided excellent service and was super friendly. The food at the resort was delicious. We booked the all inclusive package which we thoroughly enjoyed. One thing I didn't like was the whole booking experience. I booked this for my honeymoon and they requested proof of the wedding certificate (which is understandable) but I explained to them that I just got married and that I did not have a copy of the wedding certificate as these things take time to process and we were on our honeymoon not long after we got married. They then requested for our wedding invitations which I happily produced along with photos of our wedding with time and date stamp. After submitting all this information, they did not respond to me. Once we checked into our room, the room was not set up with the honeymoon compliments. This was really disappointing considering how much I was paying to stay at this resort. The last three emails that I wrote to them were not unresponded when prior to these emails they were extremely responsive. I did have a nice stay but I didn't think it was worth the money. I should have opted for a more well known 5 star resort. I would not stay here again.

We had an amazing time on the trip..the room and the beach experience was amazing. The staff was super amazing. Definently recommend to choose this resort for your stay. Additionally special shout out to Deepu who was our personal butler and Agra who was always there to greet us at the resteraunt.

Trapped in a nightmare

Most of the reviews for this hotel are fake. I wouldn't say it was the worse place I've been but certainly nothing I would ever suspect from a high end hotel. Main complaint is its dirty and rundown. It has not been kept up and for example we were given snorkel equipment with lipstick on it and black mold in the respirator. The staff was nice and mostly tried but we left after the first night even though by doing so we lost lost thousands of dollars for the other nights. Its also an ecological nightmare . . . most hotels try to limit plastic, all they do here is give out single use plastics for everything. I saw the maintenance guy cleaning out his used paint equipment while standing the middle of the reef. I have started a complaint the authorities over this incident. Avoid there are so many beautiful island hotel in this country, also I would recommend getting further from the capital the water is polluted by the city.

Worst resort in Maldives when it comes to service and accommodating the guests request. I stayed here with my wife and kids.. very rude management, just need extra money for everything and that’s it.. it was my 5th trip to maldives, I have stayed at Taj Exotica twice, Westin Maldives, Como Cocoa Island and this stay at Adaraan Prestige Vadoo was pathetic. Only asset they have is Chef Mahesh and Chef Suresh… rest everything is very poor.. I will not recommend anyone specially when you are use to and expect a 5 star service and treatment…

Amazing staff. Everything my wife and I would have hoped for. Our favorite was the butler we had. He did an excellent job and made sure we enjoyed our trip comfortably.

The island was small and intimate. I had the beach to myself most mornings - people seemed to stay in their villas. I stayed in a honeymoon suite. There are 4 honeymoon suites, and they are set off by themselves away from the other villas. Each had their own 3ft plunge pool, stairs into the water, a glass panel in the bathroom to see fish below, and an outdoor jacuzzi. The jacuzzi did not appear clean, and the headrests had fallen off. Most days were quiet in the villa, however one day they were doing construction on the deck next to mine. I wish i had known ahead of time, or been given another quieter villa for the day - its not relaxing to listen to construction. They clean areas of the island well daily, however there were cigarette butts and other trash that were never removed from the beach during my week stay. I wish I would have done the half board instead of all inclusive. Often bartenders were not available to make drinks. They never came to the beach to bring you drinks like at most resorts - I had to always go and get my own. The water around the resort is clear and beautiful - great for snorkeling. This is a quiet place for couples, however some families brought babies and children, which took away from the relaxing atmosphere at times. I would stay at an adults only resort next time. They do offer COVID tests onsite for departure for an additional fee. For meals, they have a small buffet of Indian food for each meal, and a rotating menu to order from.

The island is amazing, all of the staff are so friendly and polity, always willing to answer any questions if you have. The food was extremely delicious. I totally enjoyed my vacation.

Great hotel in beautiful setting

Beautiful hotel and would be 10/10 but all activities we wanted to do were not available (jet ski, snorkle trip, kayak). Also the bar service was extreamly slow at the beach bar and main bar. For the price i expect a bit better for both. Otherwise its a great place.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Very quiet and peaceful island/resort. Snorkeling was amazing no matter the weather/tide conditions. We would stay again without a doubt. If you want a party/rowdy atmosphere, this is not your place. Probably not the best choice for young kids. Resort caters more toward couples.

Beautiful room; Less-than-stellar service

We spent four nights at the Adaaran Prestige Vadoo in December of 2021. Our room and the ground of the resort were beautiful, however, the service was not what we would expect out of a 5-star resort. We were constantly being tossed from our butler to the front desk to the manager for basic requests and they were no help getting a PCR COVID test before our flight back to the US. We also spent several nights at Paradise Island Resort and would recommend that spot over this one, especially for the money.

Mostly I got COVID from this resort. I had fever on the next day of departure, I did the PCR and it turned to be positive. Most of the staff , do not put the mask , some of them talk to u with very close to your face!! It was really annoying. Most of the staff are NOT friendly. Some of them are great , especial thanks to the Moroccan guy and Moroccan lady in the reception, they were very polite and helpful. The resort is very very very small. Restaurant: food generally is delicious, especially the beryani. There is Japanese restaurant, but they said u have book one day before , even , it is empty but u have to book one day before !!! Beach is not sandy , many coral. It is good for snorkeling. U can not feel the Maldivian atmosphere, it is very near to Male , u can see the Male building and hear the airplane .. The worse is The airport reception, people there r not 5 star professional, they simply told me and my wife , go wait there , there is many coffee shop buy thing and drink until the boat comes !!!!!! We had to wait 40 minutes. The room is big , clean but old , the private pool is very small. Each room has butler , our one was really bad and Liar , was not helpful. Spa is small , I think there is only two or three rooms but it was great. The Massagers are the best. Just imagine there is one bathroom ( for men and ladies at the same time ) near the beach … only one . They have good modern garden in the resort. Drinks below average

An out of the world experience. Resort, water villas, food & staff everything outstanding. Special mention to Agra, Manu, Saurabh and Anshul.. Sunset water villas are too good. Snorkling sites of resort are too good. Out of the world experience. The Christmas Eve celebrations are worth experiencing 👌👌👌

Beautiful island however, all inclusive only covered one restaurant out of the 3. Other 2 are expensive for the type of food you get. Food was below average.

I definitely recommend this place. It is good quality for this price.

Overwater villa review

The resort staff were amazing. The overwater villas are really roomy & spacious. However, the villa in general is really old. With alot of things such as some wall sockets not working.. at one point the doors lock jammed & we were locked out. The room has a jaccuzi & pool. However, even the jaccuzi is obvious to be old with yellow flooring due to the sun. Overall, it was a nice experience. Would recommend for no more than 4 nights, because the island is very small in comparison to other resorts. Two restaurants were available, japanese & main restaurants both had great food, service & reasonable prices. Recommend sea-food dishes over others. Snorkeling in the ocean is great. Spa is intermediate, the activities I did not try. Very clean resort, only comment is that the villas need maintainance. Special thanks to all the staff for the 10/10 service & great attention during our 6 night stay.

The service and friendliness of the staff was excellent. Our butler Manu was very attentive along with our house keeper Hussain. The rooms were in top condition with all the necessary facilities. The hotel provides a great culinary variety and drinks for the all inclusive option, well worth the price. Overall, we highly recommend a holiday at this hotel!

Worth visiting this little island. Friendliness of staff. World class food. Watch sunset at the Sunset Water Villa. Experienced diving and snorkelling. The flush of the sink and the cleanliness of the jacuzzi need to be improved. Overall, we enjoyed our stay here and we will definitely be back again.

Was perfect except dinner was bad and choices were so bad and limited of 4 bad dishes.... after fighting politely they accept in the first day to serve something els as we want... but next day forced us with one of their 4 dishes again... dinner is 1 star, but overall is more than 5stars

The resort was nice and clean, the staff were really great, close to city, though this ruins the peace a little, better to choose sunset villa as sunrise faces the city. Still lots of fish and coral around, resruarant had different options every day. Thanks for having us :)

Worst hotel experience I’ve ever had - stay away

This was supposed to be the stay of a lifetime, but the hotel staff was so rude, inaccessible, and unreasonable that it ruined our honeymoon. I still am unable to get hotel management to engage on my complaints nearly a month after the stay was scheduled to begin (numerous unreturned emails from both myself and hotels.com service reps). There are lots of great options in the Maldives, and if you are looking for a staff which cares about your comfort, your safety, and your experience, strongly suggest you consider other properties.

Simple Amazing! Excellent Resort, Excellent Customer service. Best place ever.

The resort is so wonderful in every way, our stay was wonderful, comfortable and enjoyable. I did not like the sea was full of stones, I also did not like the design of the villa where the minibar was placed inside the bathroom. It was a fatal mistake to have an exposed and uninsulated toilet inside the bathroom,the sink in the bathroom was smelly I want to thank all the resort staff for their hospitality.

The perfect place for a honeymoon! The privacy, service, cleanliness, all was great. We advise the all-inclusive deal that allows you to drink whatever you want all through the day, and 4-course meal 3 times a day. We went for sunset fishing which was amazing and very relaxing but enjoyable. Snorkeling is a must-do, but try to get your own snorkeling masks instead of the goggles at Adaaran. All in all an unforgettable experience. Some negative reviews on Expedia almost put us off, but after our visit- we can say that it comes down to insatiable character. The staff was so considerate and thought of everything before we even asked.

Very nice overall experience, beautiful area and very clean, a little pricy and not that much to do, food is good but I expected more. Worth it but just 2-3 days.

Our personal butler, Manu, is excellent!! Check on us repeatedly. Whenever we passed him by around the island, he would ask us how is everything and make small talk. We experienced a lot for the value we paid for. We had our Sunset villa, including private jet tub, our own backyard personal pool and direct access to the ocean. Enjoyed unlimited Half board meal plan, snorkeling gear rental which we saw full life of coral marine fishes next to their beach area/dive center, and complete with beach lounging in their beach setting.

luckily we did not have to stay there but got a transfer to another Adaaran site..... Total fabricated view on the site and so on. Claim to be a 5 star place, not even close. Would give them max 2 stars. All inclusive does not mean all inclusive here...... You should be more careful with the ratings...

It's a beautiful resort and the staff were excellent, breath taking views of crystal clear water all-around. The bungalow We had was very nice and exceeded our expectations. Our Butler was very nice guy and took good care of us. The only negative was the food......I have traveled all over the world all my life, so when I am paying 100-200 dollars for dinner, I expect some level of quality. With that said, the island has 2 restaurants, first floor is European style restaurant. Second floor is a Japanese restaurant. Our first night my girl and I we're at the first floor, the waiter explained they had a nice seafood special for 2 @ a price of $149 which included a lobster tail, some grilled shrimp , grilled squid and some type of white fish. It sounded delicious so we ordered. Sadly, after waiting over an hour for our food, it was not good at all. The lobster was dry and flavorless, the shrimp tasted over cooked, the grilled squid was like rubber and the white fish was not eatable. At that point we just ate what we could and I couldn't wait to pay my bill and leave. The waiter asked why we didn't finish and I explained it was actually terrible. He was shocked and said sorry. I paid and tipped him. The next night we tried the Japanese restaurant, both of us are big sushi eaters so we couldn't wait to try. The service was excellent and we ordered a large amount of food, unfortunately my girl was sick all night after eating there. I informed the staff and the chef apologized .

The worst hotel (NOT SAFE)

The worst experience I’ve ever had. My waif was hurst and disrespectful from other drunk gusts. I asked the manager to contact the police they refused. They told me we talk to the gust and (give him hard time and hes sorry) lool i was so surprise wither reaction. I had to leave the hotel for safety of me and my wife. Overall it’s not safe hotel you might get harst or insulting you or family. I don’t recommend the hotel at all.

My family was at this resort from 12th to 16th Dec. Lovely resort. Everything went better than expected. I will recommend to my friends for sure.

Adaaran Prestige Vadoo was amazing. A wonderful place to relax. The rooms are clean and have many amenities. The island is a paradise. Sunset rooms have a better view than sunrise rooms. The butler and staff were very helpful and catered to our needs.

Amazing experience for ultimate relaxation

I was in a sunset over-the-water villa for two night. From the moment of check-in to check-out, it was an unforgettable experience. The room was fabulous with a comfy bed overlooking the private splash pool. There was a rainfall shower and outdoor jacuzzi. Fresh fruit and evening snacks were provided daily. Your private butler helped organize everything. The food was amazing. Lung and dinner were four courses of delicious food. I do recommend booking the Japanese restaurant as the food there was absolutely delicious. The sushi and shashimi was so fresh and wonderfully presented. The water excursions were great, as well as the on site salon/spa. There’s a shop on site for gifts or items you might have forgotten. You are never lacking for anything to do!! My private butler, Manu, made the experience perfect. Never did I have to worry about my schedule or anything going on. An absolute must❤️

Amazing experienced!

We stayed in Sunrise Bungalow....AMAZING!!! What a Beautiful hotel, it’s a paradise!!! For the food it’s not a buffet but u have a lot of options to pick nothing to worry .... our butler name is Vijendra he make sure we have everything we need. We got private pool but we don’t even use it because the Beach is calling all the time. Omg that Beach is just so stunning... perfect for snorkeling!!!!

Nice experience

The Adaaran is a nice place to stay for honeymoon. Smal island and intimate but didnt feel like a honeymoon as we had no special treatment for e.g anythinh written on beds for welcoming. Staff just done there own thing not much talking. Food was delicipus and room was nice too

A small piece of paradise just 15 minutes speedboat ride from Male airport. The resort if remarkably maintain and managed buy by warm, friendly and caring people. We were pampered from the moment we arrive until the moment we left. The service provided by the receptionist, butler, housekeeping and food service was exceptional. I highly recommend the resort especially if you peace and serenity. Thank you for your participations in make this a wonderful 10th Anniversary.

We had a lovely and memorable honeymoon there. Weather was perfect. It is a really clean, peaceful and lovely five star resort. Special thanks and gratitude to our butler Vijendra. I highly recommend this hotel to everyone especially during the dry season when we can enjoy the sunny days.

Fantastic sunset water villa and gourmet food.

The sunset water villas are simply the best. The food is mitchelin star standard . The sea life was amazing the only down side is the reef got bleached a couple of years ago, very sad.

Great boutique hotel

My husband and I spent our honeymoon at Adaaran Prestige Vadoo and had a fabulous time! The resort is on a small island but this didn't bother us as we had a lot of privacy outside our sunset villa. The view from the villa itself cannot be beaten and we really loved the small private pool. You can see that the villa becomes a little bit outdated and improvements will need to be made soon. The staff was very nice and always helpful, trying to accommodate our requests. Special mention to Hussain, the Head waiter - he treated us so well and always smiling!! The food is delicious, every day we had a different menu. I totally recommend Adaaran Prestige Vadoo - hope to be back soon :)!

Small island close to the airport

We stayed in the honeymoon villa, the room itself was perfect, It came with a private pool and jacuzzi. It’s more expensive then the standalone ocean villa, but if you want privacy and convenience then go for this room style as the main pool is on the island. Food was great too, we went for the all inclusive option. You get to select what you want from a set menu that changes daily, so enough choice I would say. There is also a Japanese restaurant, which is included in all inclusive, limited choice of food there and but still lovely, (you have to book in advance as it gets busy). We stayed 3 nights on the island which was more than enough, we got bored on the final day as the island is really small and there isn’t really a lot to do unless you book excursions that take you out for the day etc. Activities are not cheap here, and they charge you in dollars so bring plenty. Speed boat transfers to/from airport were great, really quick and comfortable! Cost us $130 each, round trip. (Should be included in the package really). Snorkelling on the island was fantastic and we saw some amazing fish! Loved the fact that we could do it form our rooms too! Finally the staff here are great, they are really helpful and work really hard to make your stay pleasurable. Especially the waiters in the restaurant! They deserve a lot of recognition for the effort they put in.

Amazing stay but few points

We had an amazing stay here. Staff where all excellent especially Hussain and Midhun! But I will say the prices for anyone who is staying non all-inclusive is extremely high! $22 for 2 corona is steep. But overall the hotel and facilities are incredible

The best 4 night in my life

We really thank you for this great experience. It was our first time in the Maldives, and sure will not be the last time. We like everything starting from the great welcoming and easy check-in with Osama, and the great tour guy Vajindra (VJ) to the restaurant people, massage, snorkeling staff, and sea sports center.
