Great wee hotel
Lovely little country hotel. Spotlessly clean. Good restaurant. It’s very remote don’t think you’ll be wandering a village with shops and pubs.
A hidden gem
A friendly welcome awaits you at The Timble Inn. A bit of a hidden gem. The rooms are comfortable and luxurious and exceptionally clean. The guest lounge is an added bonus with a juke box, games and magazines. The food and efficient and friendly service in the restaurant is fantastic. Will definitely visit again in the future.
Outstanding hotel
This is an amazing hotel in a beautiful village. The room was comfortable, the staff hugely welcoming and the food brilliant.
Beautiful location, ideal for the outdoor explorer and foodie. Attentive staff, very friendly service, superb food, huge breakfast. Large comfy bed. Very quiet. Would highly recommend
Needed to travel to nice shops and places of interest but that only adds to the perfect quiet location . A little jem in West Yorkshire the staff were so helpful and showed such interest in their quests . Will definitely be returning .only one tiny negative comment bathroom supplies of shower gel, shampoos etc were not replaced daily .
Lovely comfortable room. Luxury toiletries provided and delicious biscuits and selection of tea and coffee in the room. Excellent service and choice of breakfast.
We had a lovely restful stay with delicious food
Timble Aug 23
Staff were superb, property and area lovely. Rooms spacious and food delicious
A beautiful country inn in an idyllic location.
Lovely inn with excellent concierge
We stayed at Thimble Inn for one night after attending a wedding at Tithe Barn. It was excellent. The room was lovely and well-equipped and the breakfast was delicious. Enzo was particularly helpful. We were late checking in due to the excess snow and Enzo stayed late to ensure we got into our room safely. We'll definitely return for a longer stay.
The Timble Inn is a perfect place for a short break. Room great, food lovely and a brilliant location
Great little hotel, lovely stay.
Timble Inn
Lovely kind helpful staff, exceptional clean comfortable room, excellent evening meal and breakfast.
Exceptional
Exceptional from start to finish. Accommodation, service, food, location all perfect
Awesome but 1 minor issue
Awesome, only minor negative was no shower, just a bath attachment with no curtain.
Family Time
This inn is a truly lovely find not far from Leeds and Harrogate so great location Rooms are luxurious clean and well designed and the food was amazing all in all a great stay will come again!
Wonderful pub with great room and wonderful staff
A wonderful pub with great rooms, wonderful staff and terrific food. I would definitely recommend the place and stay there again. The only slight downside was the problems we had connecting with the wifi in the residents lounge area but apart from that a 5 star experience
Overall Perfect!
beautiful room with lovely quality furnishings Food is excellent - overall perfect
Quiet and peaceful night away.
Lovely hideaway
Really lovely overnight stay at the Trimble Inn. Very friendly welcome, lovely room and a first-class dinner and breakfast. Wonderful location too. We’ll definitely visit again. One tip - be careful if you’re following a satnav to get there. We ended up approaching it along a very narrow path with few passing points. There’s a much simpler way if you look at a map!
Fantastic
The room (room 4) was beautifully decorated and spacious. Fabulously comfy bed and blackout blinds to help with the lie in. Felt comfortable with the Covid secure service of breakfast - just a few minor service delays. Fabulous walks straight from the door. Would highly recommend for a comfortable and relaxing short break away.
Very quiet. Lovely bedroom. Breakfast was excellent
Mixed review
The timble inn was in a nice setting our double room was very comfortable. However two adults in our party were in a twin room. They said the beds were very narrow, more suitable for children. The shower head in our room did not work. The food was nice and the young girls serving were friendly and helpful. A big disappointment for us was that the lounge area, When we retired to did not have enough logs to enjoy a full evening with a fire. We were told there was no more logs or coal. We were in fact drawn to the Trimble due to the pictures of the cosy fire which is a must for us on our twixmas break. No one lit the fire for us and the manager was not bothered when we asked. There are a few details which could have made our stay more enjoyable such as newspapers being available on the Sunday morning, or at least the option to order some. As a fairly expensive stay, we felt some additional attention to detail was called for. We stay as a small group in various places for a luxury night away every year. Sadly we would not return to this one
We had a very enjoyable stay at The Timble Inn. Staff we were friendly and efficient. Food was outstanding. Our room was comfortable albeit a little on the small side. The only negative was there was nowhere to really relax in the evening as the bar is really a restaurant.
Fantastic
Lovely place. Attentive staff. Impeccable service. Great food.
We booked this little hidden gem as we were attending my Nephews passing out with the army in Harrogate. Absolutely loved it, staff amazing! nothing to much trouble. Room was clean, very comfortable. We went for a stroll down to the reservoir wow! fab. You won't regret booking Timble Inn, we cant wait to re-visit, especially for the Gin!
Quiet,traditional,comfortable,dog friendly.Nothing we didn’t like
Wonderful comfortable Inn...great food and very friendly, helpful staff.
Brilliant
A fantastic hotel. Beautiful rooms, fabulous food and most of all the staff were amazing. Friendly welcoming and helpful without being pushy or intrusive
The room was very nice ,disappointed in one member of staff.
Really good in every way - comfy bed and great breakfast
The room was superb, staff helpful and friendly. We didn't dine there but do plan to go back for another stay soon.
The perfect retreat in the middle of nowhere!
Everything about the Timble Inn was prefect - the room, service and the food! I would definitely go back there for another stay!
Great for walking
Excellent meals - room well equipped. Delightful peaceful setting.
The Timble Inn is wonderful
The Timble Inn was just fabulous! We stopped in the Nidderdale Suite which was just beautiful and we just wished we could have stopped longer! The staff were so welcoming and made our stay extra special! The food and the service were great and we without doubt will be back as soon as we can!
what a fine, where everybody knows your name
what a gem of a place, amazing food and a really close family atmosphere, location seems like you are going to drop off the map and then you are in the heart of the dales, very impressed and will go back if chance allows. staff are all in synch to deliver a unique experience and came across very genuine. whilst the restaurant is very busy they want you to stay and they want to find you a space and share their passion for the food
very nice but expensive
We had out dog with us, but was not informed when booking that it would £20 per night! We expected some charge, but have never paid this much in three years of hotels with dog!!! We stayed in room 3 -NO WIFI available
A wonderful time celebrating 21 years of marriage. Staff were very friendly and professional. The food was delicious.
Impromptu weekend away
This is a real gem of a find. Beautiful room in a fantastic pub in a lovely village. Great if you want to walk around the nearby reservoirs, or visit Harrogate, Bolton Abbey, Fountains Abbey or Brimham Rocks all of which are nearby. The food in the restaurant was first class as was the selection of gin behind the bar. The staff were pleasant and efficient and the breakfast was exceptionally good, especially the orange juice. Would thoroughly recommend the Timble Inn for a romantic couple of days away.
Short break away
We had a lovely short break away in the Timle Inn. Bed pillows were comfiest we’d stayed in for a long time. Had a brilliant nights sleep. Food was great as we ate in restaurant in the evening and was up for 9 to get our breakfast although bacon could’ve seen more time under the grill!! All in all a lovely place to stay. We will be back!
Nice hotel in the middle if a farrmland. Fiods were excellent we enjoyed our overnight stay.
Excellent rooms, stunning location, staff very good, food great, what more can you ask for
