Personal touches, friendly host.
What a lovely place. The hosts were super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was fantastic. There was everything from cereal to full english. Cooked to order, and was delicious The room was clean and well equipped. Comfy bed. Snacks were a lovely touch. George the resident cat was friendly. 🐈 We went to the local pub to eat in the evening. 10 mins walk away. It was busy but they got us a table. :) They werent serving food but was a chippy van outside that you could take into the pub to eat. Huge portions and tasty. Thanks for lovely stay. We would stay here again. X
It was extremely comfortable and we were made very welcome by the hosts.
Great place, Great people. Breakfast really tasty.
Josh and Lynn are the most wonderful hosts - so welcoming and friendly. The accommodation is always spotless and cosy, and the breakfast is A***. You can’t beat those fresh eggs. Perfect location for Bletchley - if you’re planning to visit the amazing Bletchley Park, then YTF is the only choice.
Yew Tree Farm was amazing for our one night stay. Beds are comfortable, room was warm and the breakfast and host are fantastic. Highly recommend
Great stay
Very clean. Comfortable bed, nice thick towels. Good breakfast. Friendly hostess.
The hostess was very warm and friendly and met us immediately we arrived which was so nice. The room was nicely furnished and with some nice sweet touches such as biscuits, chocolates and water. There were some toiletries in the bathroom and everything was very clean and well presented. It was a lovely quiet room. There was an information book which had useful places to eat and local emergency doctors etc. It would be nice to have some local touristy information such as Bletchley Park etc. The breakfast was delicious with all locally sourced ingredients and very relaxed. Unfortunately for us we missed the bakes to order due to holidays but the pictures of what is usually available looked scrumptious.
The property was really beautiful and well appointed. Our host was lovely and helpful.
A nice warm, friendly welcome when we first arrived. Hosts made us feel very welcome. Our room was nice and clean and the bed was very comfortable. A nice touch was the bicuits and crisps in our room on arrival. Top quality full english breakfast, all fresh and tasty. Cant fault it in anyway and would definitely recommend
We had an amazing time staying at Yew Tree Farm! We came to visit family in Bedford (only a 30 minute drive away), but also to see the National Computing Museum and Bletchely Park. Our hosts were fantastic, they chatted with us whilst making a delicious breakfast and were very knowledgeable about the local area. Our room itself was a great size and we loved having gardens to walk around in. They also have a small zoo of sorts (ducks, a goose, chickens, zebra finches, cats, a dog), which we loved. Every amenity was provided for, and it was very thoughtful to leave us snacks (and top them up on the second day!). They also had a book of suggestions of places to visit in the local area, of which we had a lovely dinner in the Crooked Billet and in the Three Arms. The former was no more than a 10 minute walk away, whereas the latter was a 5-10 minute drive (apparently also walkable but about 30 minutes). Our our way to Bedford we also drove past Woburn Safari park and loved looking out at the deer- if we had longer, we'd certainly like to go back to that. Overall, we'd love to come back to Yew Tree Farm, we just don't know when we'll next be in the area! But thank-you so much for having us, and especially for the very tasty vegetarian sausages- I have just bought some more for myself!
Yew tree
Such a friendly host and couldn't do enough for you. Nice quiet location with a generous garden to use.
Quiet setting with excellent hosts
The room was a good size in its own outbuilding . The level of drinks and snacks provided was excellent and there was an outside private table and chairs. We enjoyed a short stroll through the garden and wooded area..The owner gave us a very friendly welcome and we have no reason to think that breakfast will be anything other than excellent . We weren't so impressed with the local pub, the Crooked Billet , however , and wouldn't recommend it as a place to eat, although it is within walking distance .
Every home comfort provided, very clean and comfortable room, absolute peace and quiet. Very friendly and welcoming hosts and superb breakfast cooked to order. All at a very reasonable price. An added bonus for us - as cat fans - was the lovely friendly cat who spent the evening in our room happy to be made a fuss of. Hope to make a return trip in the future.
Amazing hosts, really flexible and friendly with an amazing breakfast. Really nice spot not far from Milton Keynes but feels in the countryside.
Beautiful
This place os lovley, as are the hosts, we could not of asked for better service!! Beautiful surroundings and beautiful room, clean, and with no expense spared really. Fantastic stay!!
Very friendly and drove us to the train station
Breakfast was amazing and hosts were very nice
Super hosts and accomodation. Nothing was to much trouble. Extensive choice at breakfast, and delicious.
Had a wonderful 1 night stay ideal for Bletchley Park only 5 mins down the road Accommodation was lovely plenty of space Host were great very sociable knowledge of the area which is a great help Will be back soon
Room clean & tidy with plenty of tea coffee & snacks. Beds comfy, breakfast plentiful with good variety, & hosts friendly & informative. All at a reasonable price. What's not to like!
Very nice area Breakfast was to die for :)
Highly recommended
Had a lovely stay and the cakes were fantastic, recommended to anyone!
Very clean, spacious room with comfy beds. More storage in the bathroom would be beneficial, even if it was a hook on the back of the door for your towel or clothes. Breakfast was disappointing, with more attention on the appearance of the food than the quality of the cooking.
It was just perfect for our needs 👍
What a lovely little bnb. The host and hostess were very friendly and the breakfast was a great every morning. I would highly recommend staying at Yew Tree.
Mid week break
Very nice family room, everything we needed, excellent breakfast.
Family Break
Fantastic place & a friendly host in Josh.
Cosy Comfy B&B
The B&B was very comfortable. We had a goodnight sleep. The breakfast was vey good and they prepared a packed breakfast for my husband who decide not to have breakfast before preaching.
Great Experience - Lovely hosts
We had a very pleasent 2 night stay with hosts Josh and Lyn who made us feel very welcome. Nothing was too much trouble and Josh's cooking skills at brekky were brilliant, loved his bacon and scambled eggs, yum! The orange juice was to die for too. The room was very nicely decorated and a decent size. We loved staying in a small village but still only a few minutes drive into Milton Keynes itself. Thankyou again for a wonderful stay.
Great spot, very welcoming
Fantastic little spot on the outskirts of Milton Keynes, close to all attractions, the service and welcome were second to none with a fantastic breakfast. If we are in the area again, we wouldnt hesitate to book again.
I booked quite last minute (following a cancellation at the property) for the British F1 Grand Prix at Silverstone and my word, was it the best choice I could have made! Upon arrival I was greeted by Josh who advised me on where to park and handed me the key to my room. I had many interesting chats with Josh during my stay as he was knowledgable on F1, the local area and shared interests of music and sports. His wife, Lynn, was equally as lovely and chatty…and made the best eggs I’ve ever tasted! Honestly such a fantastic couple who ultimately welcome you on to the grounds of their own home. The room was large and spotless, anything you needed was either replenished daily or available upon request. Nothing was too much for Lynn and Josh, and breakfast was exceptional each day - whatever you want, cooked at your request. The area is beautiful too, although I didn’t have time to explore much as I attended Silverstone for 4 days in a row, which was only a short drive from the property. As a female travelling alone, I always felt safe and comfortable at the property. All in all, I couldn’t recommend Yew Tree Farm enough. I’ll definitely be back…whether that’s for a trip to Silverstone or local exploring!
Really nice stay
Great stay
Fab stay, very accommodating hosts. Great breakfast in the morning. Would definitely recommend!
Lovely property. Very comfortable. Excellent host. Can highly recommend.
Beautiful farm
The room we stayed in was immaculate. The bead was so comfy it was like sleeping on a cloud . Such a pretty place 😊
Yew Tree Visit
Good clean accomodation and very friendly owners. Excellent breakfast cooked before your own eyes and hence fresh and hot. Nothing too much trouble and site close to amenities for evening meals and Bletchley Park. Would suggest a hook on the bathroom door if being picky.
Exceptionally clean and bright. Excellent food and hospitality Highly recommended
Good stay
Very welcoming owners who made sure we had everything we would need. Would definitely stay there again.
1
Very clean and comfortable couple who run it very friendly would absolutely recommend
Great little hideaway with a personal touch
Great little hideaway with a personal touch. Josh and Lynn made us very welcome as well as providing a made-to-measure breakfast. Location wise awkward if you don't have a car but ideal for MK Bowl and nicer than staying in a big hotel in town. Rooms in good condition and comfortable beds. Also a lovely small pub nearby which was ideally placed.
A perfect stay! Josh and Lynn, the owner couples, are exceptioally nice and friendly. Room and dining area are comfy, clean and tidy in addition to quiet and peaceful surroundings. More, itnjoys a good location to reach London, Oxford, Warwick, etc within a short driving. Love it!
Very homey feel. Kitchen and dining area are in a single room. Host prepares breakfast as he chats a bit with the dinners.
.
Lovely quiet B& B close to Milton Keynes but feels like it's in the country. Excellent breakfast.
Very hospitable and comfortable.
Superb stay. The room was in tip top order and the breakfast choice was amazing. Best thick cut marmalade I have ever had at a B and B. A brilliant choice when visiting Bletchley Park and a great meal at the nearby Dolphin in Stoke Hammond. Will definitely return.
It was clean, comfortable, homely and very quiet at night.
Would definitely recommend to others
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we made most welcome. Breakfast was amazing- so many delicious options. Lovely produce to buy for gifts.
Exceptional
The reviews speak for themselves. Very clean, quiet and comfortable. Friendly and accommodating hosts. I will be returning next week! Thankyou
Clean, comfortable accommodation in a quiet convenient location. Welcoming hosts providing all requirements. Recommended.
Lovely room amazing breakfast lovely hosts
Definitely stay again.
Lynn and Josh were brilliant hosts. Nothing was too much trouble. The room was very comfortable with tea/coffee making facilities and plenty of snacks. Fresh milk was supplied daily. Our breakfast was delicious and included cereals, fruit and a choice of any combination of a full English breakfast, with their own free range eggs and homemade marmalade. For evening meals, there was a pub and take away a short drive away and Lynn opened up the breakfast room so we could eat our take away in comfort. We would definitely stay again.
This is a lovely place with lovely hosts. A real find. We will be back and back.
Josh and Lynn were wonderful hosts. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast was very good. And it was nice having their cats and dogs wandering around. We would return.
A comfortable night in a friendly B&B. It was good value with accessible parking.
Yew Tree Farm offers every comfort and convenience.
Home like experience
This was a very nice place to stay. Very home like experience. Will be my go to spot when I am visiting this area!
Very nice B&B. Large spacious room for our family of four. Excellent breakfast at the time of our choosing cooked by the owner. Overall highly recommended.
A very enjoyable stay. Hope to be there again.
Lovely service
Very welcoming and nice. I was extremely happy with my stay
Great Place To Stay
Thouroughly enjoyed our 4 day break. Hosts Josh and Lyn made us feel so welcome. We had room 4 which has a superb view across the woodland garden at the rear of the property. We stayed B&B and the breakfasts are absolutely fantastic with an excellent choice and variation.. Situated in a small, picturesque village called Longville Newton, excellent location, very close to Bletchley Park and Silverstone race track. Will definitely stay again.
Fab stay
The whole experience was first class. The owners were super friendly, the accommodation was spotless, comfortable and set in beautiful surroundings
Hosts were very welcoming, room was lovely, and breakfast excellent.
Best bnb around
We stayed at this property while attending an event at the MK Dons this was within easy travel distance to the stadium. The host are amazing they honestly couldn't do enough for us! The free breakfast was exceptional. The room is beautiful, big and clean with everything you could need in it. From the free nuts/biscuits/chocolates/milk/water/hot chocolate/tea/coffee. The bed is so comfortable it's hard to get out off lol the grounds are amazing and there birds cat and dogs we will definitely stay here again if we are ever down this area again. Thanks for our stay was amazing.
Our hosts were delightful and breakfast was top notch!
Had a very warm welcome and the room was fresh and very clean!! I would definitely recommend yew tree farm to anyone thinking of staying here 👍
Overall excellent.
Home from Home
Really clean, welcoming and friendly hosts, even though I arrived quite late! I could also charge my car there (not free) which is very good to have for overnight stays. Great bed and quiet location, highly recommend and will be back!
All good.
A beautiful room in a quiet area . The amenities were first rate but it was the hosts who truly made this an exceptional stay. I can and will recommend this place to everyone. Also …the breakfasts were magnificent. When was the last time you were treated to a fresh homemade croissant ?
Great place to stay!
Excellent facilities and a warm welcome from the hosts. We had a lovely two night stay whilst visiting the area. Room was very comfortable and clean and the breakfast was superb. Will definitely be back when near Milton Keynes again.
Wondeful b & b in a quiet retreat
An amazing and relaxing stay at this lovely b & b, Lynne and Josh the perfect hosts, the room with welcome tray was amazing, as was the breakfast with a vast choice on the menu of locally sourced produce. The setting is quiet and perfect for a retreat away. Would highly recommend this establishment.
A great find. Would definitely recommend
Very clean and comfortable. Great place to stay with substantial tasty breakfast. Friendly hosts.
Wonderful Stay
We stayed overnight before a visit to Bletchley Park. Very friendly, welcoming owners and a really lovely, spacious, clean and modern room. Our made to order breakfast was tremendous.
Excellent base for our visit to Bletchley Park.
Great room and fantastic breakfast. For EV users there is a 22kW charge point (22p/kWh).
Clean, warm, very warm welcome, excellent breakfast .. highly recommend
Excellent hosts, great location, room excellent as was breakfast.
Excellent. Hosts couldn’t do enough for us.
Lovely friendly people. Lots of nice touches in the room. Being disturbed by people in the next room in the middle of the night.
Very friendly warm welcome and a lovely place. Excellent breakfast. A lovely pub at the end of the road too.
Very welcoming. Excellent breakfast. Very helpful information pack.
Delightful
This was delightful. Quiet village location. Hospitable hosts. Very clean. Comfortable room. Lovely breakfast. (Nice village pub at the end of the road).
Such a lovely place with friendly hosts. The room was clean and comfortable with plenty of amenities too. Breakfast was a delight with lots of gluten free options
Yew tree farm a real Gem
Although we where quite late in the evening arriving we still had a very warm welcome from Lynn and Josh. A good nights sleep which was followed by an excellent breakfast which recharged our batteries for the day ahead. Highly recommended and hopefully we will return and explore the locality further.
Warm welcome. Great bed and the best cooked breakfast ever!!!
Nice room, good breakfast, would recommend
Great 1 night stay, would definitely stay again.
Very pleasant stay - would recommend
We stayed one night in the King-sized bedroom. Everything was very good. Comfortable bed, good-sized room, ensuite with corner bath & separate shower. Nice range of drinks & snacks in room. Welcoming hosts and excellent breakfast cooked to order. Adhered to Covid regs in place at the time of our visit. Drove to the Three Trees near Bletchley for our evening meal having discussed the options & their personal experience with the hosts - there is a pub within walking distance if you prefer - and enjoyed a good, filling meal at a reasonable price. Left about 09.00 to get to Bletchley Park in time for 09.15 so no probs with parking on-site ready for 09.30 timed entry. All worked well & no rush.
Very welcoming on arrival . Very quiet location , lovely breakfast , we will return
Exceptional B&B
A really good experience of a very friendly and clean b&b. Room was excellent with fluffy towels, comfortable bed, good views. Table and chairs provided to sit outside on private patio. Free to roam in their extensive garden and woods. Breakfast was exceptional. Very handy for Bletchley or Silverstone. I would certainly stay again.
Simply wonderful
Always an amazing stay here. Josh and Lyn are the most welcoming and accommodating hosts, the rooms are comfortable and spacious and the breakfasts simply wonderful. It has been a pleasure to stay here over the last few years.
Excellent stay
Great place to stay, very quiet with excellent hosts
Lovely staff, very friendly. Very relaxed ambiance. Highly recommended.
Highly recommended.
Both my Wife and I really enjoyed our stay at the Yew Tree Farm. All aspects of the stay were First Class.
Excellent stay at Yew Tree Farm. Room well equipped even with som lovely treats such as hot choc, popcorn etc. Room was very comfortable. Breakfast was amazing. Very relaxing and everything you could think of they had and hosts were very welcoming and couldn’t be more impressed with our stay here. Would definitely recommend. Many thanks.
Excellent all round
Excellent stay, very warm and comfortable, some nice touches such as being given fresh milk for tea on arrival. Large room with generous sized bathroom including toiletries. The hosts were friendly and welcoming. They are rightfully proud of their breakfasts. Having checked other reviews we were warned that they were LARGE! We therefore downsized and were not disappointed. A bonus was the great pub at the end of the road, literally 5 minutes walk.
We had a lovely stay at The Yew Tree Farm B&B last week. The room was a great size with lots of welcoming touches. We enjoyed a stroll through their gardens to see the chickens and ducks before heading up to the local pub for dinner which was only an easy 5 min walk away. The hosts left us to our own devices during the day but were welcoming at breakfast time and we enjoyed a good chat over breakfast which did not disappoint! We read great reviews about their breakfast and they lived up to their word. It kept us going all day. A lovely extra touch is how the host now offers homebaking and at even short notice, was happy to nip off to make us some homemade dog biscuits before we left. (Thank you - they were enjoyed by the dog sanctuary we visited!) Great stay and will definitely be recommending to our friends and family.
Very pleasant greeting, room and situation just what we required, ie lovely outlook and very quite.Bed really comfortable.Beware breakfast a full English consists of 2 of everything, absolutely delicious but enough to feed an army.Would certainly recommend it t anyone and if we are in the area again this is where we will stay.

An excellent stay
Cannot fault our stay. We were made very welcome and service was very personal and attentive. Our room was very comfortable with an excellent bed and a great bathroom (the lip to enter the shower is quite high and one needs to remember that). Plenty of power points including USB sockets - which was very handy. The garden was well worth a stroll in - with some delightful birds to talk to as well. Breakfast was top notch in all respects.
