The location is perfect, and it's clean enough

This was a nice place to stay, especially if you just need a bed to crash. The rooms are small, but they serve the purpose. Staff is friendly and the location is ideal for those who want to walk around Barcelona...

There was a buzzing sound that repeated every for seconds.

They turn the hot water off at night so when we got in late our shower was freezing. It was push button shower and sink, so water was wasted. And the bathroom cleanliness was just ok. It was cleaned, but not deep cleaned.

For short stay this hostel is Ok. But it is cold at night in rooms.

The overall stay was good however the showers had a foul sewer odor.

Great place for basic no-frills stay on a budget.

Really enjoyed our staff at Urbany Hostel BCN Go! Used as a base for the Barcelona Marathon and was perfectly located halfway between the train station and the race start / Expo area near to the University Metro stop. The staff were very welcoming and gave a warm welcome at check in, everyone was friendly. The hostel rooms were as you'd expect, basic but very clean and comfortable. The room had an en-suite and also very clean. The shower head was a bit clogged up but it was functional. here was a lot of security inside with separate access to the lift, landings and rooms but we found this reassuring rather than a burden. The kitchen area was a bit chaotic and a mess when we cooked but everything we needed was there - the mess was more from the other guests rather than the hostel. Rooms were cleaned daily, and wi-fi was great. All in all, we thought it was a great place for a short stay.

Room with a smell and bad ventilation

Room terribly smelly. Toilet wet and dirty. Would not recommend at all.

good location

The hostel is on the main road and near metro station. It's not high price to stay a night. But the water in bathroom is not big and you need to punch once again and again. I think it's ok to choose here by cheap price to travel BCN.

Unpleasant experience

I personally hated my stay at this hotel so much I moved out after the first night. You really do get what you pay for. Set up is brilliant but too many noise guests and no sense to whose bed is yours,came back to find someone asleep in my clean bed and I was left with just a mattresses across the room.

Middle of the road hostel for the price

Friend and I booked a room for just the two of us and it was in a 4-bed room. Great location, very close to the Universitat metro station, within walking distance of a lot of shops. The hostel isn't too hard to find as it's on a main street. Security at the door is ok, you can be buzzed in or you might catch the door as someone else is entering or leaving. Front desk attendants were very helpful and spoke very good english, one girl was impeccable (may have just been American). If the hostel offered any type of social programs, we didn't look into them and didn't do them. Room key is needed to operate the elevator and open the doors to the floor hallways, as well as your room itself. It would have been nice to switch to the other bunk beds since the light over the sink is motion activated and if we moved too much the light would turn on at night. The toilet is separate from the shower, so both can be used at the same time. However, there isn't really anywhere in the shower to place clothes or change so we ended up just giving each other the room for privacy. The staff will gladly answer questions of where to go and what to do. Breakfast is included, laundry machines available and lockers for rent. Have to pay 2 euros for your towel, and beds are a little stiff. Overall this a middle of the road hostel; not horrible but not something that will blow your mind away while still being a good experience.

Great Location, Comfortable Place to Sleep

Great Location, comfortable quiet place to sleep. I've been at hostals before where the walls are really thin and you can hear everything in the hall and other rooms but this Urbany hostal was quiet and great for sleeping. Staff was friendly and atmosphere in the lobby was for the partygoer.

It’s okay to take short stay for example max 2 days. however it’s not cool to stay for one week.

La chica del destino fue muy amable y atenta

La habitación doble privada era muy pequeña, solamente las literas y el espacio para poder pasar una persona a la vez, el baño estaba sucio y olía a orines, parecía una celda de la prisión, mucho ruido de la calle, en recepción pedimos cambio de habitación a una limpia que no oliera a orines y nos dijeron que esa era la habitación que habíamos pagado y que no tenían más que una igual que nos mostraron y estaba peor de mal oliente, decidimos tomarlo con filosofía y compramos productos de limpieza para limpiar el baño y la ducha y se quitó el olor a orines, el camión de la basura a las 2am hacía mucho ruido y temprano a las 8 comenzaron a trabajar en el edificio colocando andamios justo en nuestra ventana, ese hotel podría pagar a lo mucho 100 usd por noche pero pagamos 500 euros por dos noches y la relación del precio calidad no recibes lo que pagas, nos sentimos estafados, definitivamente no regresaría y no lo recomiendo para nadie.

Posizione ottima per ogni evenienza e comodità per i trasporti che fanno si di collegarti con l'intera città. Ottima anche la condizione e i servizi dell'ostello con un bello spazio del luogo comune con tanto di: cucina, bar e biliardo. Efficente la reception e la simpatia di tutti gli addetti alla struttura

Un inconveniente para abrir la puerta de la habitación con la tarjeta, todo lo demás muy bien.

O espaço nem de longe é oque aa fotos mostram, lugar escuro apertado e em caao de emergência nao ha sinalização nenhuma. Aliás nao ha sinalização. Tive problemas o que inclui o hotéis.com ppos a hospedagem havia sido lançada no cartão e la estava a ser cobrada. Eles não souberam tratar fizeram o maior caso. Foi horrível.

Ubicación excelente, en general muy bien. Solo un poco incómoda la ducha. Áreas comunes amplias. No pudimos conocer la terraza ya que estaba en mantenimiento

Buen hostal bien ubicado

Nos hospedamos ub grupo de amigos en una habitacion con 4 literas. Estaban comodas. El baño y la ducha tambien estaban bien. El hostal muy bien ubicado. La atencion agradable. Wifi bueno. En general agradable la estancia.

Ubicación perfecta y personal amable. Habitación pequeña pero suficiente para una noche.

Limpieza del baño

La cálidad en la Limpieza de baño seja mucho que desear, hongos en las paredes y el lavamanos sucio. El espejo lleno de salpicaduras... por lo demás, la habitación estaba bien.

Houve um problema inicial gerado pela expedia que no ato da reserva informava que o pagamento havia sido feito e na hora não havia. A estadia transcorreu sem mais problemas.

Gute Lage

Ein perfektes hotel, wenn man mit mehreren Freunden reist und nicht viel Geld ausgeben möchte. Für eine Nacht war es völlig in Ordnung, obwohl besonders das Bad nicht sehr sauber war. Das Personal war super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Lage des Hotels ist perfekt, da man alles zu Fuß erreichen kann.

전반적으로 만족, 수압은 약함

8인 믹스 도미토리 사용했는데 수압이 엄청 약한 것 빼고는 전반적으로 좋았습니다. 까탈루냐 광장까지 걸음속도에 따라 10-15분이면 도착하고 근처에 버스와 지하철도 다니기때문에 아주 편리했습니다.

Para ir en familia no vale, mucho ruido por la noche, limpieza regular, las mantas olían a pies y daba grima pisar la ducha, el agua d la ducha salía para fuera...para salir d fiesta y dormir poco está bien, hay karaoke y está bien ubicado. Precio bien y la atención regular, chicos jóvenes pero poco profesionales.

Fenster waren mit einem Schloss verriegelt. Aufgemacht wurden die nicht einmal in 3 Tagen. Wir wollten nur mal für 10 min frische Luft ins Zimmer kommen lassen. Wurde direkt abgeleht und stattdessen wurde die Temperatur hoch und runter gedreht was überhaupt nichts gebracht hat. Viel zu kleines Zimmer wo man noch nicht einmal mit 3 zsm stehen konnten obwohl es ein Zimmer für 4 war. Für die Not hat es gereicht aber nochmal würde ich es nicht Buchen!!

Para dormir y justo!

Bastante justo y un poco ruidoso. Lo peor es no tener puerta en la entrada al lavabo... por lo que la luz molesta al otro compañero de habitación.

Excelente lugar, ideal para mochileros y viajeros !!! Recomendado...

Nice budget choice

There is locker and table in your bed, which is very convenient. Also, the curtain in the bed provides enough privacy. You can play table tennis and meet a lot of friends in the common area, people hanging out there everyday and there is a bar in the hostel. A bit noisy but it is quite fun to stay. The room is big and you won't feel crowded even though there are a lot of people in it. Overall, it is a nice hostel to stay, great price.

위치는 좋습니다~ 까탈루냐에서 도보 10분정도이고 대학가라 안전하구요. 밤에 조용한편입니다. 그러나 트윈룸이라고 하여 예약하였는데 4인 도미토리를 주고 2명이 쓰라는 이상한 논리...처음부터 트윈룸이 아니였어야하는데 좀 그렇더라구요. 4명값 주고 잤네요. 그리고 외국인과 호스텔 내 여러 이벤트를 함께 즐기길 원하면 추천하지만, 밤마다 열리는 이벤트로 조용히 지내시길 원하는 분은 추천하지 않습니다.

Nice stay in the center of Barcelona!

Visited Barca in August. Room had a airconditioner and a private bathroom. Very small but still comfortable. Only 5-10 Minutes walk to Place de Catalunya! Can recommend this hotel!
