I booked there because it has a pool and lounge/restaurant, but when we got there the pool is not working and the restaurant is cloed for good.The hotel needs lots of renovation done.Its really getting run down.

Front desk staff was lovely. Room was clean

A lot of trash outside , stairs to the second floor outside and in bad condition . Door was almost impossible to open with passkey . Room was clean but smoke detector kept beeping . I unplugged it and took it do and discovered it should have been replaced in 2020😱. Only decaf coffee packets in room . Continental breakfast was to be at 7 . Only opened door at 7:05 then discovered coffee was not started yet and the breakfast was just bread and cold cereal and some stale looking tiny cake muffins. Skipped and went to Tim Hortons . Will not be staying at this establishment ever again.

It was great except only one small shampoo for 2 people and no smoke detector in the room. There was a spot for one but it was empty.

Budget accomodations. Clean rooms, decor is dated, but beds are comfy. Fridge, microwave and coffee maker/ supplies are a nice touch. Pool is closed. Good if you don't sweat the small stuff and just need a bed for the night.

Travel(don’t)lodge

The pool was closed due to maintenance issues. The pictures don’t depict the actual room itself. After check in I had to go to the front desk, nobody there so had to call the hotel and was told someone would be right there. I waited 10 minutes and called again and was told again someone would be right there, about 5 minutes later someone showed up. It was a bed to sleep in, but definitely not worth anywhere near the price I paid.

Mice in the room and no coffee

Old motel, but our room was really nice and clean. Lots of little touches added to the charm.

Staff was welcoming and made my checkin easy. Discovered someone was parked infront of our room and staff came out and got us situated so we could unload and settle. Great food choices on the same road so we didnt have to travel far and looking forward to free breakfast. Good value for price!

Clean rooms just older would stay again

No pool they lied on the advertising and it’s completely run down. Looks like something out of a horror movie

The good news is that the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. However the facility was dated and run down. The television was the size of a computer monitor. The office and breakfast bar were advertised to be open at 6:30am but neither was. Ok to stay one night but definitely not more than that.

Older property so showing some wear and tear. Large room with fridge, micro and coffee maker, comfortable bed, convienent right off trans-Canada. Typical included continental breakfast. WiFi a bit slow. Certainly not fancy bur overall comfortable and great value.

Well your pool is broken and the lamp doesn’t work :(

Poor amenities. Air conditioner, microwave not working. Breakfast was poor quality with no meats, no eggs. Please stop listing them on expedia.

Checked in and then checked right back out, we could not stay here. The building is so run down it looks unsafe, the room said non smoking but it had a heavy smoke scent, we didn't feel comfortable taking our shoes off. The pool is also under "renovation".

When we were there the pool was closed, the fridge in our room didn’t work. Lots of hot water to shower!! Breakfast is advertised for 6:30 am but no one was even at the front desk before 7 am breakfast was served after front desk staff got there.

I think that maybe you should advise customers that the pool and slide are closed for renovations . That the building is under construction and that the workers start early in the morning. About the only thing good about the trip was the bed was pretty comfortable. Maybe have Chanel’s on the TV that people would actually want to watch. The few choices that there I don’t even watch at home. Made for a long night before bed

Perfect location for this trip, but not a great neighbourhood. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was plain and minimal, but sufficed. Building is rundown, but good for having dogs with us.

It is an older property. Needs some TLC. The beds were comfortable but loud highway noise. It was very inexpensive and I guess I got what I paid for. Front desk kind

Place was clean, but very dated. Definitely time for some renovations. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Everything was good just a group of people in the room above me was playing loud music which caused me a bit issue and I didn't bother to inform staff so nothing on them..o was solo travelling so not a big deal for me

Good overall place to overnight on my drive from Wpg to Calgary.

Quiet hotel. Door was unable to open from the cold. Had to use the hallway door. Continental breakfast was satisfying. Would stay there again.

The lady working the front desk is amazing, so helpful and it was a delight! Medicine Hat Wynhams should learn how to be 1/20 as good!

Deep snow in parking lot made it hard to park, door to room was busted and almost impossible to open and close, back door keylock didn't work, a 1500W heater was plugged in next to the radiator because the radiator didn't work properly, requested any kind of support and email message wasn't even replied to, but other than those things the staff was nice and the bed seemed clean! What did I expect for $65?

A good stay if you need a place to stay for the night. Not the nicest place but a fine place to rest for the night. Taps in bathroom did not shut fully off so water was dripping from the faucet all night. Parking lot and walking paths not cleared from snow but it was still doable. Not many breakfast options but there’s at least something. Staff was nice.

No one answering the phone. No one at desk for check in. Hotel states pool, waterslide and breakfast included. When we arrived both pool area and restaurant were under construction.

Parking lot/sidewalk full of ice and snow, two large uhauls blocked us in, room was clean but definitely had water damage (possibly black mold growing), had a little box heater for heat, two plug ins worked, no breakfast, pool shut down, tv didn’t work, WiFi was horrible, definitely not like any travel lodges I’ve stayed at before

I was put into a room wgere the wind howls all night. This is the 2nd time that I have stayed here with the same problem. I was assured that the room was acceptable before checking in and that if I was unhappy they had other rooms. There is a winter storm and when I asked for a different room they insisted I would have to pay more. When I refused they suggested that I check out but Expedia showed no rooms available in the entire city. This is one if the worst hotels and dishonest practices I have every come across.

Horrible stay. Was supposed to get a refund for 2 nights and 1 month later still havent received it. Room was bad, wet carpet under the window which ended up making its way all the way to the bed area, no working coffee. Tv cable was not working or even connected when I got there, room was full of maple bugs, moly stack of food out in the inner hallway the whole time.

Good stay for a solo traveler. Pool and facilities are closed for winter, but coffee breakfast was available.

No central heating, in fact the heating was a plug in micro furnace with no thermostat.... heat was on or off only. Restaurant and bar was closed. It seemed that they were doing renovations over night as there was constant foot traffic outside my door from 11-3am. Wouldn't recommend to anyone.

Waited 15 min for someone to come to the door, but she answered the phone and was there in 30s… weird Pool and restaurant were closed but they neglected to mention that at booking but still costs the same Outside doors were left unlocked to public, stunk of stale smoke and we*d, room door didn’t unlock from outside entrance but the hallways door did, and when we opened interior hallways door, outside entrance door just opened on its own (after many previous attempts it didn’t unlock with key. Place gave very weird feelings and we left and paid a bit more across the street for far superior hotel. Seriously don’t consider this despite the price. Hotels.com should remove this place from their list of available hotels

Unit warm, clean, beds ok, and shower hot. Room just a bit run down from age. Check in didn't make it clear when breakfast ended so we missed out on that as they stopped the service half an hour before any other hotel we have stayed at. Also there was no info notifying us prior to arrival or on the web listing that the pool/hot tub was closed. There is no connecting hallway to the lobby so they make you navigate a skating rink parking lot and 6" of lumpy hard pack on the sidewalks to get there. It hadn't snowed in quite some time so this not acceptable. There was a few areas where parts of the roof where falling off but hey the owner or manager had a nice Jaguar. Show some pride in your place even if it is an older hotel.

Was not told that the waterslide and pool was not working. The only reason we choose travelodge. Front desk told me they refund the room and didnt.

Heat in room didn’t work very well. Toilet tank leaking on floor. Linoleum in washroom curling up around toilet and bathtub. Bathroom doorknob falling off. Sink vanity not secured to the wall. Restaurant closed for renovations. Pool and waterslide closed for maintenance. Very rundown property. Would never stay there again and definitely would not recommend anyone stay there!!

An older property. Had some upgrades but definitely could use more. Our door to our room had to be forced open as the door was stuck shut room 123. Oddly there were bird feathers falling out of the pool ventilation system. Unfortunately the ladders out of the pool were in disrepair. But the slide and pool were great fun. Sadly no hot tub though. Great location look forward to seeing it updated in the future. Worth the money.

This is an older facility that has had some upgrades but definitely could use improvements. The slide and pool looks updated but the lack of hot tub is unfortunate. The ladder out of the pool needs updating; as only one ladder had steps installed to climb out of the pool on; the two steps were in disrepair. The bird feathers falling from the pool ventilation system was interesting. Definitely worth the money and hopefully will be updated in the future. It’s a great location close to everything; has potential to be a great place to stay.

My room was huge, clean enough not to complain. Overall, if you are looking for somewhere to stay for a hitch or two when working out of town the Travelodge is deadly.

We got Maple bugs in our bed which caused a lot of trouble, i experienced Skin Rashes and itch , i had to visit doctor for my medical condition which made me loose my pocket a lot of money , i haven’t recieved my refund as well !

Was all clean and comfortable rooms.

Good bed and shower but the rest of the hotel is very rundown and very unkept… way too hot in the room as well.

The room had bugs on the floor, was draftty, the internet was unsecured, the free breakfast consisted of cereal, coffee, toast and juice. The worst part is there was a homeless person in the breakfast room making roast using the majority of the bread while making himself comfortable which resulted me going to a restaurant for breakfast. Next time I need an overnight stay in Swift Current it’s not going be at that location. I will also not be recommending the Travel Lodge in Swift Current, the hotel is dated, dirty, and need of repair, worst hotel in Swift Current,

It could have been better!

We booked this hotel spicifically for the waterslide and pool. Both were closed. We know thos is a vety old hotel but there were stains in the carpets in the roomsand in the hallway. relatively few upgrades jad been done. There had been no indication of the pool beingbout od service when we booked nor when we called ahead. The breakfast was cold cereal, toast coffee juice. Not spectacular.

There was no heat to control in the room, it was controlled by the front desk. Once I asked for more heat, they obliged. There is no direct inside passage to the lobby/ breakfast room, you need to go outside. The outside doors to the building don't allow you to enter, there is only one that does & you have to find it or ask at the front lobby

it was a lousy room!

While the staff was friendly at check-in, the rooms were in incredible disrepair. Attempted repairs were half hearted. Broken electrical outlet covers, exposed cable tv wire running loose across the wall, missing trims, homes in the wall, a sink that looked like it was about to come out of the counter, the faucet loose in the sink, caulking cracked, hard water stains and build up in the tub, pillow cases with small stains, a lack of USB ports and electrical outlets near tables where you can plug in (inconveniently placed), a trash can from the MGM Grande Las Vegas, deadbolt on the exterior door that looked like it would easily give abs had been kicked in previously, and general disrepair. Do not recommend unless you're in a real tight pinch. Disappointing even for Travelodge, nevermind the Wyndham brand.

Tv, cable, & phone did not work. The ceiling in bathroom looked like it was going to fall in.

For some obscure reason the landline phone kept beeping, no breakfast

Rooms were ever clean. Looked like decently updated. Breakfast quality and quantity was awful. The outside of building needs to be cleaned up. Garbage outside of rooms.

Hotel is very run down. Old beds, rusted, chipped sink, taps would not turn off. Hole in bathroom wall. TV worked but could not watch because cable constantly froze. Hair dryer worked but no heat.

I was unable to eat much of anything in the morning. I have a gluten sensitivity. There was an apple, yogurt and coffee that I could eat. no oatmeal was available and the orange juice was sunny D not real. The cereal was fruit loops and cherrios, mini muffins, and toast. I left hungry. We looked for killers under the bed because the door was open when we arrived. the restaurant was closed. I feel we paid too much. Thanks

Could use some improvement

Great price and easy location

The staff was friendly and accommodating as I have mobility issues. Clean room, but older. Fridge and microwave very convenient. Breakfast had: muffins, cereals, apples, yogurt, toast, juice and coffee.

This hotel is old and has not been maintained. Beds are terrible, lumpy and noisy Poorly positioned AC, which blows at your head while you are in bed. Pool room is just a room, with no atmosphere and only 2 chairs to sit. Water slide was not accessible. Would definitely NOT stay there again.

You get what you pay for. The staff are very nice. The property is really worn out. The room and beds were very comfortable. We just stopped for 1 night so it was fine. Breakfast is terrible, but whatever, we didn’t expect much.

The overall property was in dire need of renovations. The bthrm was not clean nor was the entry or the windows The air quality reeked of stagnant dryness _ hard to breath. The entry doors were absent of paint... overall the structure is crumbling - the carpets are stained. The hall reeked of Indian curry food... I would not recommend anyone staying at this hellhole. Pay a bit extra & stay at another hotel/motel that has some professionalism. The restaurant was closed due to renos... didn't dare swim in the pool. Overall this is a moteo that caters to hwy staff who spend the nite then get to work early. Absolutely do not recommend this hell hole to traveler's.

I love Tavelodge properties however this property was very run down. Things were broken. Rooms, hallways, paint, furniture, bathroom and general appearance needs a major upgrade. Back rooms appeared to be rented out "long term" as there were bikes and clothes racks and patio tables outside doors of the back rooms. Didnt feel safe taking dog out for a walk unless we went 2 at a time. The location was very convenient. Price was ok. Breakfast ok. Kids enjoyed the pool with the waterslide. They were the only ones in pool.

Pool had no safe access in or out of the pool. Broken steps on ladders. Screws still left in the piping . Weak ac units in the rooms. Very uncomfortable beds. No cable tv. Limited channels to watch. Broken ice machines.

While the rooms and towels/bedding were clean, the entire property was very dated, the restaurant was closed and no one was at the front desk when we arrived to check in. There were signs saying to dial 0 to call someone. The room was quite stuffy and hot, as the AC unit wasn’t turned on before we arrives it was fine for a one Night stay.

The hotel could use some upgrades. Seems like the owner has not done much to update the hotel. The bed was comfy and the pool was fun.
