Lovely stay for Prefontaine Classic in July

Great little motel, upgraded to cute perfection. Breakfast was a great addition and they had lovely beer and wine options in the lobby. Great location, easy walk to cafes, bars, shopping and restaurants.

Understanding and sensible staff. Major check in issue was dealt with logically and appropriately. Will be HIGHLY recommending often and will stay no where else when in Eugene!

We stayed here for a little family getaway and were honestly so impressed. The whole place has clearly been recently renovated—it feels fresh, modern, and super clean, but still warm and welcoming. It’s also family owned and the family who owns it is so sweet and welcoming. Our room was perfect with super comfortable beds. The bathroom felt brand new, and we appreciated how clean and updated everything was. The staff were kind and helpful without being overbearing, and check-in was quick and easy. It was clean, never too crowded, and there were plenty of towels and chairs, which made our lives easier. Breakfast in the morning had something for everyone, and the location made it easy to get around without spending all day in the car. Honestly, it felt like the hotel had thought through what families actually need. Would absolutely stay here again. It was the kind of place where you could actually relax and enjoy being together.

Staff was very helpful during the check-in process. My wife has extreme chemical sensitivities and the front desk worked with us to help us find a room that she could stay in. Everything else was icing on the cake.

Loved this property. Quiet, clean, yummy breakfast, walking distance to a great coffee shop. The gardening on the property is gorgeous, absolutely stunning flowers.

Staff was not friendly, we checked out 1 hour before check out time and as soon as we started loading our vehicle the cleaning staff entered our room before we had removed all of our property. Room was small and over priced.

Great breakfast. Clean. Paper thin ceiling. Could hear kids running around and talking like they were in the room. At 10:30pm I asked the neighbors through the wall to please stop the kids from running. :(

Property is very well maintained and is walking distance to many restaurants. Staff are friendly and helpful. Room was comfortable and charming with wood floors, recessed lighting, and very nice dual head shower. Would stay again.

Our grad trip

Room was super clean and well appointed and simple. Our room was small but that didn’t matter to us. The service and condition on the property were perfect for Le our needs of just needing a goods nights sleep for graduation!

Buffet breakfast was excellent. The queen room was clean but very small. Inn is centrally located making walking to eateries pleasant. Martha at the front desk was helpful and friendly.

Very cute upgrade of what was once a motor inn. The owner is on site and very friendly. They even have a small bar with locally-purveyed beer and wine, which we enjoyed in the small living room in the lobby. The room we stayed in had a comfy bed, and it was clean and appointed well for an inn, but being on the first floor, we didn’t realize how incredible noisy and squeaky it would be above us with the wood floors. Even with the fan on full speed, we felt and heard every footstep in the room above ours, especially when they came in very late. Next time I will request an upstairs room.

This definitely is an older property. It was convenient to the family we were visiting and slightly less expensive than other properties close by. Photos were good so we booked it. When we got there, it was like "uh oh" old style motel. BUT I can safely say we would stay here again. The hotel has been almost completely renovated. Rooms were great, amenities were great. TV could be a little bigger, but worked well. The included breakfast was really good. Service and courtesy were really top notch. Not to mention that the landscaping was VERY nice!

Great place to stay. Breakfast is fantastic with real eggs. The rooms are clean the the beer and wine are served till 11pm! I will be back.

Room was well laid out, spacious, but bed hard and all pillows very very squishy (I prefer a firmer pilllow). Bathroom spotless and up to date. Nice included breakfast.

Cute stay in a great location

Passed through Eugene on a roadtrip and Timbers Inn was the perfect stopover. This vintage motel has been restored with care and style. Easy parking and walking to spots throughout downtown. Staff was friendly and helpful and included breakfast was above and beyond a typical hotel buffet. Highly recommend and may well stay again on similar trips!

Timbers Lodge was such a pleasure. The king bed we got was plush including the pillows. The high ceilings and natural wood really gave you a good feeling.. the shower was heavenly because of the two shower heads one above your head was like a rainstorm it was one of the best showers ever taken! The breakfast served in the morning eggs bacon sausage a variety of breads and all kinds of other treats definitely worth the money spent!

My room was incredibly clean and comfortable and everything I needed was within walking distance.

Charming and convenient

Updated and comfortable. Very nice breakfast and easy free parking. Lots of restaurants in walking distance. If you are bothered by noise, make sure to get a second floor room or you might hear a lot of creaks.

Enjoyed our stay at the Timber’s Inn. It’s been thoughtfully renovated, keeping all the charm and details that make it unique. Highly recommended spending time in the lobby area. They have local wine and beer available in the afternoon and evening and a wonderful breakfast in the morning. The quality of the ingredients sets this breakfast apart from the usual. Staff are great and the grounds around the property are beautifully maintained with lots of flower baskets and plantings.

Comfortable place to stay in Eugene

This was our third stay in 5 years at Timbers Inn. The staff is friendly and helpful. The room is very clean and comfortable. The breakfast is amazing including real silverware and dishes! They do offer paper plates and plastic silverware if you want to take food back to your room.

Timbers Inn is a great place to stay as it is centrally located in Eugene. We can easily walk to shops, restaurants and coffee shops we enjoy going to. We can also walk to the lovely river walk path which is not too far away. The staff here are always very friendly and personable. The morning breakfast of eggs with English muffin and coffee was perfect to start our day. My husband and I have stayed here before and will certainly return!

This was a great modernized and stylish drive-in motel with free parking and a great breakfast. I'd stay here again. Great staff and price.

Loved the location to the downton area, all walkable. The lobby was darling and Martha, Joseph, Kaitlan and Brian are an awesome desk team. So nice, so helpful. The hot breakfast was amazing!! In addition, wonderful high quality wine and beer in little sit down area from 2pm to 11pm. $8 wine by glass, tap beer $6. Only draw back is the very noisey street corner and homelss population loitering in the back. Poor souls would start wailing and crying from midnight until 1:30 am each night. So probably won't be back. Just wish better sound proofing.

We enjoy the location of the property. Free breakfast is a nice bonus too

The hotel is really cute

Everything was lovely except for two things. None of the TV channels were working. Also, a staff person walked in on me while I was still trying to sleep before checkout time. There were no door hangers to indicate “do not disturb” so I’m not sure what they expected me to do.

The room was great. Very spacious and clean, felt like a little cabin. Best thing was their shower and water pressure which is usually a problem in hotels. Breakfast was "just ok" but it covered the need.

MCM gem in downtown Eugene

This is my new favorite hotel in Eugene! Midcentury modern charm with a recent remodel. Very clean and well-appointed. The free buffet breakfast was an extra bonus! I will happily stay here again.

This is a restored motel that has charming details, if you like mid-century modern style. The bed was very comfortable. We appreciated the free parking and walkability of the area. The breakfast was surprisingly good, with hot foods, decent coffee and some vegetarian options. The highlight was the staff, who were friendly, observant, polite and cheerful. Really, they were top notch! We thought it was a little expensive, but were generally pleased.

Best choice for downtown Eugene.

A nice room, small but had all we needed. It had charmingly unique chairs and even a rotary phone! Check in was fast and friendly. Breakfast offerings were great. I would definitely stay again-a great deal for downtown Eugene.

We enjoyed the suite room and the dog friendliness of this hotel. The flowers are beautiful … so many tulips!

Old Lady Gets a New Dress!

This is a mid-century motel, recently updated. Materials are very nice: tile, hardwood, etc. Design is great. Service (check-in; full breakfast) excellent. Challenge, though is that the property was a mid-range motel, so room bays are small and acoustics are poor. Looks like new windows, but they do not block road noise. Doors are hollow-core and were not replaced. Again, sound leaks. Room HVAC system is wall unit which has good thermostat, but noisy fans. The property is a motel with external hallways, so smoke detectors in the guest rooms, but apparently no fire suppression system (sprinklers). Location is outstanding -- downtown location close to food, entertainment, etc.

This is a fantastic little vintage motel with excellently renovated rooms - very comfortable beds, small living space, relaxing lighting. It was perfect for my stay because of easy walking to both downtown and the university. The staff were welcoming and personable, especially Martha and James, who heped me at check-in and throughout my stay on details like breakfast, extra tea for my room, and parking. The breakfast was lovely for quick and easy mornings so I was able to get a good early start on activities in the area. The room was refreshed every day, and housekeeping was excellent! Thank you all for a fabulous stay!

Less than impressed.

In all fairness, they were advertised as “Basic”. They were. Noisy, uncomfortable bed, staff that wasn’t guests oriented. You can fin better for the $$.

We loved the Timbers Inn. It’s remodeled so tastefully, while maintaining a vintage vibe. The room was very clean, comfy beds, awesome rain shower head. Love the wood floors too. The breakfast was GREAT! Homestyle Buffett with nice options. Enjoyed the patio for a beer from their tap, which was nice to just add to our room tab. Great location, close to the University and Hult Center. We walked everywhere we wanted to go. We very much enjoyed our stay! Thank you!

Funky retro motel

Great location and value. Funky updated retro motel. Smells like the ‘50’s. Mostly clean. Creaky floors, people coming back to room upstairs after bars closed loud enough to wake us up just walking. Super uncomfortable bed, extra hard and felt every movement of my spouse. Shower ok, updated bathroom. Great breakfast options and staff were nice.

Spent two lovely evenings at the Timbers Inn while attending an admitted students event at UO. Room was clean, staff were friendly, and breakfast was great. Nice and quiet area, and convenient to food and shopping. Definitely recommend

Location is good and near University of Oregon. I Cosme with my daughter to tour the university. Only one night stay and I like it. Clean, comgorstanle beds, check in was easy and helpful. Tomorrow I will try the free breakfast. Easy to walk to the university and for shopping around.
