Clean, nice design elements. Bed a little too close to floor, however. Made it a little hard for us seniors to get up and down from it. Would appreciate if the bathroom barn style door had an actual lock feature though.
Didn’t have the chance to like anything. Everything went wrong I booked the room around 2 pm. Got charged and confirmation. I drive to the location of the motel 4 hours away. As I’m driving I called the motel a total of 6 hours to double check make sure everything was good and that we would be able to check in because we would be arriving at 7:30pm and check out ends at 8pm. They never answered or even messaged, once I arrive to the motel I wait for a message of a lock code for the room, which I never received. There is no one on that works on the motel site, they had a number on the door called that number, just to have someone pick up and not be able to help me, then I get a message that the room has been canceled as they have over booked the rooms, which in no way is my fault, terrible all around. I then had no where to stay and then had to drive 45 mins to another place. 0/5 Stars
When I arrived to check into my assigned room, there was no key in the lockbox. I called the contact number and was immediately switched to another room. The property is well decorated and has all your basic necessities but you can hear everything your neighbors are doing. I had a good short stay.
It is a self. Check in room . You need to make this more visible when selecting rooms like this . The walls are very thin and there are only 6 rooms in a row ..🤔 The room was clean and when we got hold of someone they did help us get into the room.
Cute, quaint, and the perfect spot for a night or two in the Catskills.
Easy check process. Spacious for what we needed. The beds are low to the floor but that’s a part of the aesthetic. Very quiet
Need stronger laundry detergent
I had a reservation for one night. I checked in, the room met expectations but I ended up leaving the property at around 11:30pm, so did not get in the bed or complete my overnight stay. The reason being, the washcloths and towels were very dirty. It's possible they just need a.stronger laundry detergent but with these hygienic items being dirty, it caused me to not want to even look at the sheets, hence the reason I ended my stay.
Dogs barking in the next room. Difficult to get good rest, which is what I came for. Property manager wasn’t very helpful.
Very clean and comfortable. Would definitely book again.
Stayed here in 2023 and loved it. This year... different story. It has not been kept up. Badly in need of a paint job. Towels were dingy and scratchy. A/c is ridiculously loud. And, the bright lights from outside are ever present in the room due to bad blinds and no blackout drapes. On top of this, I didnt get my acxess code for the lockbox until I spent A LOT of tume tracking it down through Expedia. All others staying there gor their code 24 hours in advance, not me. I was truly worried that I'd have no place to stay.
Clean and neat, easy to locate key, parking right in front of the door
Overnight at the Vine on the Main
It was an overnight stay. All is fine, but they really need to have instructions in the room for the TV. It was our 2nd stay & had Sam issues with TV. ALSO, a coffee pot would be nice instead of an espresso machine.
We had a great time staying in this lil cozy airbnb! The TV was super slow and limited but other than that it was clean, easily accessible, and overall a wonderful stay!
Tv and wi fi situation is challenging
The room was clean and updated. It was a quiet area and walkable to small business’ -for example- coffee house, cute breakfast cafe, bar, diner. What could be improved is condition of the sheets - very wrinkled.
Nice quiet property. A bit odd we need to shovel snow to get to the car. Also minimal sound proof in the room so can hear outdoor sounds easily at night.
Cute and convenient for a night.
Room was modern and nicely decorated but was not very clean. The coffee spoon had old coffee dried on it you can tell it wasn’t washed. The corners and crevices were covered with dust and we don’t think the comforter was changed/washed. We stayed one night to visit a wedding venue in the area. We got in late and left early so it was good for the night. Very easy to check in since it’s self check in/check out so that was very convenient. Would stay again if we needed to.
Overall for the price this property is really well maintained and the staff are quick to respond to any and all questions. The room was very clean and well maintained. The biggest issues are the noise around you and also the bathroom door. The church bell across the street goes off every hour on the hour without fail and the fire department is across the street which makes sleeping difficult. The bathroom door also does not actually close but slides in front of the door opening. So best be very close to whoever youll be staying with! Overall definitely a win for the price. But I also would not pay more for the space given.
nice upgrades, convenient for basics, Must people In the town where very nice... Hope to return soon for more great books to find!
Boutique Style motel. Clean & convenient. Good coffee & places to eat nearby. Easy to get to from the local ski areas.
This hotel is so boutiquey and adorable. My husband stayed here a night for a ski trip and it was beyond perfect. The room is small, cozy and warm and we were provided with all necessities such as toiletries, blow dryer, small fridge and coffee machine. Amazing that they are pet friendly and close to ski mountains. 20 minutes from Plattekill!!!
The property is near a few nice cafes within walking distance. The room is nice with a minimalist/modern design. The room was overall clean but there was dog hair on the sheets.
Very loud A/C -heater. Late arrival of confirmation e-mail which resulted in access problem
Nice clean rooms
Very unique spot lot of good places to eat near it very quiet
Easy/Convenient, but Bare Bones
Easy and convenient - biggest complaint was there was no ironing board to use with the clothing iron, and there was no steamer. We were in the area for a wedding and traveled from out of state, so our clothes could have really used an ironing, and the email we received stated that those items would be available. We contacted Monica like the message said to, but she was not aware of any steamer or ironing board either. There also was no cleaning service during our stay, so we had to get our own fresh towels - not a big deal, but we were never told where they were so we had to hunt them down. Wifi worked well, good water pressure in the shower and bathroom - overall fine for our 3-day/2-night stay.
Nice area, clean, updated room. Very accommodating
What where they thinking Bed thats 12 inches of the floor? Extremely heavy sliding bathroom door kept coming off the track not properly installed. 1 Uncomfortable chair
cute - small rooms good for 1 person or 2 small - average ppl.
It was absolutely perfect. Host was the nicest person ever. Highly recommended.
Nice and clean. Air conditioner was very loud.
Clean and comfortable. Well maintained and quiet. Highly recommend.
The interior is modern and clean. Check in was easy enough as we were provided instructions the day before of arrival. We had a couple of issues however (1) there was zero customer service. we wanted to ask for extra towels and ask for an hour extra for a later check out but the phone number they provided for assistance was out of order. (2) the alarm from the fire department next door at dawn was super loud and it will wake you up. not sure if this happens every morning at dawn. the property warns their guests about this in their welcome note ahead of time but still. We stayed here for 1 night and it served its purpose because we were attending a wedding nearby but I could not stay here longer than that.
Tv didn’t work.
The room was very clean and neat. I especially appreciated the Nespresso machine!
Quaint and unique motel. Newly renovated with modern yet simplistic rooms. Clean and quiet. Never met or spoke to anyone, as there is no front desk. Had trouble getting information about how to checkin and phone # is international. Had to private message to get information, but all worked out wonderful.
No desk service but instructions to get key were ok. Nice room.
Illegal and unsafe hotel
The good: The room was clean and tidy. The bad: Holy cow the service here is bad because it is non-existent. There is no one at the desk or even on call. They use an absurd "self check-in" service with key codes in envelopes. The management gave the same code to two different parties so you can imagine my surprise when I came back from dinner to find someone else in my hotel room. It is not a safe or effective system. Whoever owns this place needs to actually comply with the law and staff the front desk. The exact requirements are detailed in N.Y. Comp. Codes R. & Regs. Tit. 9 § 2521.3 - Classification of buildings The ugly: the bed was incredibly uncomfortable and the faucets sprayed water everywhere.
Nice place.
okay stay
no pillow cover on one of the pillows. very unsanitary. no one emptied out the trash can and it smells very bad. I had no where to throw anything out. the tv signal was in and out so can’t watch tv. wifi doesn’t show up on connections. clock on the wall is 5 minutes behind. the saw over the bed is very unsafe and creepy. i was scared it would’ve fell on top on of me while i was sleeping. just little things that could have been fixed to get a better rating.
The room is cute, the bed is comfortable, and the shower is hot and strong with nice towels. The a/c created white noise to muffle road noise and the church clock. We were comfortable there. The bathroom is showing some signs of wear. A few amenities like tissues and a large garbage in the main room would have been nice. The towels are nice but there were only 3 of them - one hand towel and 2 for the shower. Bring your own soap, shampoo, etc. There was a pump hand soap by the sink and a generic body wash/shampoo bottle in the shower. The common room wasn't as nice as expected. Again, nowhere for garbage except a small bin, no place to wash dishes and there were some dirty dishes left on the counter, a mid-sized shared fridge. Overall, it was a fine stop-over while traveling in the area.
Funky little motel style units that have been remodeled. Very clean. Comfortable bed. Nice little decor touches.
Awful check-in
Reserved several rooms for family traveling for a wedding. Hotel confirmed that check-in as at 2pm. Some guests arrived after 2 to find that their rooms were NOT ready. One guest arrived at 4 to find that their room was also not ready. Though, hotel did provide alternate rooms, these new rooms were originally designated for other guests, so the entire check-in process was messed up. Upon going into the room, the guests were told that they did not have a chance to wash floors otherwise everything was cleaned. This was not true, the guests discovered huge hair balls in the bathroom of the supposedly cleaned room.
This is an incredibly cool little motel! Fashionably renovated, comfortable, and clean. We especially enjoyed the motel’s location, views outside, and proximity to the little town of Stamford. We had so much fun here!
The property is very pretty and clean. The problem is the noise. You can hear the heat in your room and neighboring rooms kicking in at all hours of the night and the window units are quite loud. Additionally, there is a church directly across the street that rings its loud bells every hour on the hour all night long. I'm surprised the locals haven't complained about this. Those bells are loud.

Simple and clean and conveniently located to good cafe and restaurants. Nicely renovated with modern "camp" feel.
