Le coffre ne fonctionne pas on a demandé de le réparer pour déposer nos affaires , plusieurs personnes sont venu à la chambre sans résultats et ils nous ont promis de passer demain mais aucune nouvelle plus le lit est réellement inconfortable à éviter

This property was terrible, I’ll try and stay constructive. The address of where the room is on Expedia is correct, however it’s a converted office block and has no reception. The reception details on Expedia are incorrect and when you arrive at the rooms there are no directions… you will need to go into a neighbouring shop and ask. The hotel telephone number is incorrect and when you finally get into the room, it’s not worth what you paid. Staff were friendly and have heard the issues before, however clearly nothing changes. I wouldn’t recommend staying here, I’d rather sleep at a bus shelter.

The room was beautiful. The property also had breakfast included which was very nice. The breakfast was amazing. The staff were so helpful, and very friendly. I highly recommend.

This room is separate from the registration and it is located by the church piazza. Great location at the center of Brera neighborhood. Staffs are amazing and Francesco (Gen Mgr) makes the best cappuccino in the area....

Loved the location in the upscale Brera district. Central to everything for visiting all areas. Location in a piazza was lovely. We stayed in the platinum city suite and it was large, upscale & modern. Breakfast at the hotel in the morning was fantastic. We were spoiled.

We take blame for not reading the fine print on this property. There IS NO hotel at this location. It's an abandoned office bldg with 4 suites on 2 levels renovated into lodging of sorts. 1) Cab driver's GPS and our 2 mapping systems couldn't find this address. The actual hotel is 3 blocks away. 2) This property advertised "laundry" which didn't exist and we were in desperate need of. An offer was made to "outsource" our belongings which was not going to end well. 3) The only accessible power outlet was above the bathroom sink which prevented any device recharging. 4) Each floor and the bldg itself are electronically locked requiring a button push for passage. That means if there's fire or power outage, you're trapped. Security? We'd call it a CODE VIOLATION in the US. 5) Trip hazard. Polished marble floors and 3 steps up to the bathroom was an accident waiting to happen and I've got the bruises to show for it. I'd ask for a refund, but I'm sure I'd be advised...... "you didn't read the fine print". Other than that and the 9.2 rating, how'd you like the show Mrs Lincoln?

Our family of four stayed for just one night and had a great experience! Our room was about a block their main hotel, which was fine, as we were escorted across a beautiful piazza to our clean and up to date room! Great walking distance to Duomo, shops and restaurants. Photo is the view from our room!

Spacious room with a big circle bed. Very quiet area but still about 15min walking distance to touristy stuff. The 4 rating is due to the lack of privacy of the bathroom. It’s a glass door that see through and doesn’t provide much privacy (visually and sound wise). Also the staff was mixed. Very friendly female reception in the morning and in breakfast room. The bald gentleman in the afternoon was ok.

It was a great experience, very accommodating staff, clean room, all necessary items provided. Only issue was that the Netflix was not working.

Great location!

Nice but strange

Friendly staff, weird hotel. We checked in and had to walk to another building across tbe street to our room. There were numeros locks to enter the building, then more locks to enter a strange reception area with nobody there. There were several rooms that opened up to reception area. The room was nice and clean but the A/C shut itself off in the middle of the night

The hotel is at a very nice location walkable to everything in the center city. I had some concerns about the checkin before arriving, it was handled smoothly and I really enjoyed my stay

No heat no electricity for one day

Avoid at all cost No electricity we could not get into our room at 2am had to wait over an hour Also you have to pick the keys from another location which nobody told us so we waited an hour to check in and only knew what to do because another hotel customer told us at 11:30pm

The property is really nice and the rooms are big and comfortable. This place could have been a five star if not for the noise of the train in front of my room. The train runs all night and my wife and I barely slept the first night. The staff are wonderful and the service. I will choose this property again but stay on the other side of the building.

No Front Desk!

It was fine but it is more of an Air B&B than a hotel. There was no response to any of the 3 emails sent prior to arrival. No front desk so early check in is impossible. The room was fine.

Great location!!! Beautiful room. The only issues I had is that the bathroom has glass doors and if it's not suitable for 3 friends. You can see through the glass when you are using the bathroom. Overall if this is not an issue, then it's fantastic

The Unique is a fabulous place to stay, there were plenty of good restaurants for breakfast, lunch or dinner on the doorstep, tram stop 100 yards away, only 5 minutes walk to Doumo. The apartment itself was wonderful and beautifully decorated and laid out, a complimentary mini bar and packs of snacks was a nice touch, apartment cleaned every day. A fabulous place to stay and when we return to Milan we will definitely stay again. One of the nicest places we’ve stayed whilst on a city break.

Highly discreet and contemporary accommodations. Conveniently located. The only thing missing was having “breakfast” in the mornings.

Beautiful room, great location but very noisy

Beautiful room, well styled, generous minibar and great location. The lady that greeted us was very friendly as well. Beyond the initial greeting there isn’t any staff at reception. The building is acoustically terrrible, I had a 6.:30am wake up for a flight and only managed to get 2 hours sleep because it was so noisy. I could hear every person arrive back to their room at all hours of the night and a woman in the room above was pacing in high heels on the tiled floor until around 1am. External noise was loud as well. Could hear cars and commotion. I also wasn’t a fan of the lack of privacy with the bathroom, it has a thin privacy sticker and is all glass. The shower also drips large amounts of water regularly during the night which wakes you up. Getting a plumber for the shower, better translucent films for the bathroom, rugs on the floors to absorb noise and some acoustic treatments to shared walls could fix most of this. The doors could also have an acoustic seal or something added as well. Those elements being addressed I would stay again. I’ve stayed at other hotels without a manned reception and a WhatsApp chat resolves this quite well. Where you just message the management with any issues.

Perfectly located property for us. Brera area is fantastic and easy walk to the duomo. Communication with the property was great. Room was spacious and quiet. Would go back if in Milan, and would recommend to others!

Beautiful suites which are really quiet (I am a very sensitive to sound and was able to get a lovely restful sleep). The rooms are lovely and modern and you can’t beat the location. Staff arranged a birthday cake for my partner which was lovely, I would recommend and stay here again.

In the city center, 10 minutes from "everything". Perfect service, clean and quality room. Only the bed was hard for us.

BEST EXPERIENCE IN ITALY

Location is perfect overlooking a picturesque piazza and medieval church. Great F&B options around like Princi for breakfast and Pizzeria Convivium for lunch/ dinner. There are 2 bar/ cafe right below hotel for the snacks or drinks in between. Room is well-appointed with sizable bathrooms and good Etro toiletries. Free minibar daily. Staff is very very helpful esp housekeeping lady (who came in early to open up door for me) and Ms Chiara who helped me ALOT with whatever bookings i need from restaurants to driver. Most of all, the hotel is walking distance to 4 most important tourist sights u need to see in Milan: Duomo, Brera Biblioteca, Castello Sforzesco and Starbucks Reserve (not kidding). Just bear in mind this is not a hotel with 24 hr staff; they come in early and leave b4 dinner but u only need to meet them for checkin or out so if u arrive in Milan VERY early, u gotta wait till staff comes in to bring u thru building's door and up one floor to their premise. Nonetheless as a very seasoned traveller, i am very very satisfied with this hotel and i will DEFINITELY come back or recommend to my friends.

The Unique Hotel is a hidden gem in the heart of Mulan. The room was spacious, clean and the staff were extremely helpful. We would highly recommend this hotel!

There was a lack of towels, only 2 for 2 people, if you need a towel for your hair or wash clothes or anything else you are out of luck. Did not like glass door to the toilet area Broken toilette flusher

Perfect location and outstanding rooms!

I would certainly not recommend this hotel to anyone. Upon arrival we were given a code to enter a side door of the building. There was no signage on the building. Once inside it appeared to be completely vacant. After several times up and down the elevator we finally found a door on the 2nd floor that had a very small sign indicating the "Unique Hotel". The lobby of the hotel consisted of a child's desk with a computer and less than friendly attendant. The room did not come close to what the picture indicated. It appears there are only 4-5 rooms in the entire hotel. The room had a circular bed and pull out sofa bed and nothing more. In the 2 days we were there we never saw a front desk attendant ever again even upon check out. We spent $800/night and this room is not worth more than $100/night. There are absolutely no amenities. Do not waste once second or penny at this hotel. Please keep looking even if it costs a little bit more money. It will be well worth it in the long run. The experience was beyond creepy!

Hotel is very well located and Mr Rosales was extremely helpful but the hotel hardly offers any services other than a room.

Wonderful stay!

Roy was incredibly helpful, offering wonderful suggestions for meals. The room was spacious and very clean. The bathroom easily accommodated our party of 3. Complimentary snacks were very much appreciated by our 10 yo son. And the location can’t be beat! Piazza Carmine has both good places for aperitivo and a magnificent church and is very close to the Duomo. We look forward to returning!

Great suites centrally located in Milan

Several hotel rooms on the second floor of a building in a great central area of the city. The neighborhood, Brera, is trendy and incredibly convenient - we walked almost everywhere. It's about a 10 minute walk to the Duomo and other central sites in the city. There are also multiple metro and streetcar stops within minutes of the hotel. The room was large, clean, and comfortable. Check in was very easy and staff were helpful and friendly. The room was cleaned and the free minibar and snack bar were restocked every day, which was a nice touch. Overall, I'd absolutely recommend The Unique, it was the perfect home base for our time in Milan!

Surprisingly Amazing!

Strange but Amazing experience. Overall product is superb. Super clean, super elegant room - similar to a Peninsula-Mandarin Oriental-Ritz. Hotel consists of 4 rooms on the 1st floor within a commercial/residential building. Location is excellent. Quiet area with a small piazza. Close to all attractions by foot within 10-20 minutes walk tops. Great local restaurants nearby 3 minutes away in Brera. If you’re independent, this is perfect. No 24 hour lobby, bellman front desk attendant. Only by phone- not sure how that works but was not needed for my stay.

The stay was very nice and the room was clean and very big. Staff was very warm and would stay there again.

The room was spotless and generally well equipped (e.g. complimentary minibar). Unique's communication before arrival was timely (e.g. providing building door code). As they apparently didn't get my reply (through Expedia) to their question about our arrival time, they weren't able to confirm whether checkin about one hour before the usual time would be possible - no great problem. Roy was excellent in trying to make a restaurant reservation and arranging a taxi for the morning we left. The only, minor room issues were no hook outside the shower for a robe/towel and only one bedside light.

What a hidden gem!! Location was unparalleled - you had the beauty of the church and a square in Brera the moment you stepped outside the door. About 10 min from the train station to the airport. Roy greeted us and checked us in - he was a delight and super helpful (also super professional). The unique provided so many complimentary yummy treats and snacks - it was incredible and unprecedented. We LOVED staying at the Unqiue and will definitely be back on our next trip to Milan.

“Unique” best describes this “hotel”. Definitely a boutique hotel. Your room feels more like an apartment than hotel room. Extremely modern, roomy and it’s location is second to none. Extremely well looked after by both Alessandro before arrival and Roy during our stay. Thank you both for everything!! Looking forward to staying at any Unique hotel anywhere in the world as a result of our experience in Milano.

Location is perfect

First, the staff is amazing! The guest coordinator Alessandra was SO incredibly helpful! A week before arrival she checked in to see if we needed anything before arrival, such as transportation or anything in particular. I asked her a bunch of questions which she kindly and patiently answered. The day before arrival I texted her through WhatsApp to ask that they please have the AC on since our Hilton Lake Como AC wasn’t working and for three nights we couldn’t sleep in our sauna of a room. She assured me she’d have the front desk Mr Roy would see to it. Secondly, the hotel itself is adorable, only four rooms I think, located in a beautiful area of Milan, with lots of historical areas, restaurants and stores. It’s a 12 minute walk to Milan Cathedral and the shopping area Galleria, about 15 minutes from Da Vinci’s Last Supper. I’d read when booking, but forgot that it is located left of the Cathedral del Carmine. So when you arrive, when you are standing in front of the Cathedral del Carmine in the square/piazza, the sign for #6 The Unique is to the LEFT. It’s a small sign, so just walk to the far left corner from the front of the church/cathedral. There’s a code box there at the door. But Alessandra and Mr Roy were so helpful and accommodating. The room, beautifully designed, looks newly renovated and is modern, beds were comfy and towels, toiletries and a complimentary mini fridge with drinks were left for us. Overall, 10/10!

Not your average hotel—if you require services and a concierge, look elsewhere. But for an independent traveler, it's wonderful.

Book last minute and didn’t have high expectations but it turned out to be a great centrally located boutique hotel. I would totally stay here again!

nice suite for a weekend in Milan

Very nice suite with view on the local church. Perfectly clean, located on a quiet place, no traffic around. Would definitively recommend. Limited service compared to larger hotel chains (e.g., no breakfast) but super price to value when it comes to having a well located suite in Milan for a few days

This property is aptly named. This is not a traditional hotel, but that did not hinder our stay in any way. This property only has four rooms and is tucked away in the Piazza near the church (a bit difficult to find upon arrival), but once we checked in, we realized that we were actually in the most perfect location! Only a couple minutes walk to the main attractions. The room was very clean and well appointed. (Yan), the gentleman who checked us in and out, was extremely helpful and professional. The property provides a nurse to come to the room and give Covid tests prior to your departing flights! This was a huge plus for the convenience! I would definitely stay at the Unique Hotel again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time staying at the lovely Unique Hotel Milano, from the helpful assistance we received even before arriving, thanks to Alessandra’s kindness and making dinner reservations for us, to the impeccable care and service at the lovely and unique space. The round bed is so comfy and also so cool! All aspects were lovely.

Difficult to find the entrance, so ensure you have the phone number handy. But once inside teh rooom was lovely.

Hidden Gem!

I visit Milan quite often and explored many Hotels but The Unique is one of the best I've experienced. A super chic guesthouse style hidden in an apartment building in high-end area close to everything. Love the private setting and truly "Unique". This will be my future Hotel in Milan.💜💜

Perfect stay in Milan

The Unique Hotel is a wonderful boutique hotel! The location is perfect; a few minutes walk to the Duomo and luxury shopping, but also great fashion finds in the Brera district. Alessandra and her staff were most accommodating. Check in was easy and quick, the room was exactly as described and spotless. Slippers, robes, complimentary mini bar with water, Prosecco, juice, Nespresso pods, tea and dry snacks. Restaurants, gelato and shopping all within easy walking distance. Comfortable rooms, beds, pillows, all that you can ask for a short stay in Milan! Alessandra was prompt with replies and helped to arrange for transportation etc. We will highly recommend!

The location was lovely and well located, though it was a bit hard for the Taxi to find as it is tucked away in the corner of the plaza. the room and amenities were very nice and the staff was very attentive when they were on site.

Our room was clean, luxurious and nice view of architecture building. I enjoyed the coffee in pods, and complimentary snacks and drinks in mini refrigerator. It wasn’t a big hotel with a lobby area, but there’s a friendly sweet lady stayed at front desk let us check in fairly earlier than normal check-in time on website, and hold our luggage after the check out. It’s located in fashion district so it’s so easy walk to nice shops and eateries. Somehow all other hotels were booked the week we were coming, so we booked it out of necessity, but so glad we did. We’d definitely recommend this hotel to everyone since we had a great experience.

Concept rooms and great space for central Milano

Important: this is not an hotel in a traditional sense. The host checks you in and then you have the keys for yourself like if you had rented a house or room. The property is very well located for Duomo area and well served of public transport. It is located in a beautiful square and quiet at night. The room I stayed was very spacious and very well designed with high end materials and amenities - the type you would find in a 5-star hotel with the added bonus minibar was included. I stay in hotels a few times a month and this was a very very pleasant surprise and nice stay. Small area of improvement would be closer of curtains - couldn’t make the room fully dark (my preference) but light would probably not disturb most people. I would definitely recommend to anyone who wants privacy, a more unique experience and a bit of romance (I was alone but it puts you in that kind of mood - perhaps it was the round bed).
