Made to feel welcome, lovely cosy room and superb choice of breakfast options and Janet does lovely home made cakes which are free to guests. Very quiet and overlooking the water and lovely restaurant very close by called the old school house.
This is a lovely B&B Inn, with attentive and conscientious proprietors. There is a lovely "Florida" room to sit in and look out to a wonderful view of MacLeod's Tables and Loch Dunvegan. The breakfast choices were excellent as was the breakfast itself. They even had tasty and filling vegan breakfast choices. There are also good views from the dining room. Our room and bed was very comfortable. All in all, a great place to stay.
Loved staying here. The owners were friendly and excited for the people staying there. Breakfast was lovely. Absolutely recommend!
The owners are very welcoming and put a lot of attention to details, making our stay extremely pleasant, including a delicious home cooked breakfast. Beautiful room, wonderful experience.
Wonderful stay!
First trip to Scotland and Isle of Skye for my wife and me. The hosts, Stuart and Janet were very friendly and made us feel welcome. The breakfast was outstanding! They emailed us ahead of our stay telling us to make dinner reservations -very helpful! Highly recommend for anyone staying on the Isle of Skye!
The property was wonderful and Stewart and Janet were a true delight. We would definitely stay with them again. Breakfast was off the charts!!
We had such a wondeful stay at The Tables Guest House. Stuart and Janet were fantastic hosts. Breakfast was delicious. The bed was very comfortable and there were tasty homemade baked goods for us to enjoy. I would highly highly recommend staying here!
The hosts, Stuart and Janet, have an incredible desire to make sure that their guests are well prepared to enjoy the local culture by sharing their extensive knowledge of the area, and ensuring that guests are very well fed in the morning, having many delicious and home made options to select from. The rooms are spacious, very clean, fresh, and have many thoughtful touches not often found in the hospitality industry. The “sun” room is a wonderful place to end the day with your favorite beverage while making new friends and enjoying the views. There are ample family owned restaurants within a short walk. The Tables is also a great hub for day tripping all over Skye. Thank you Stuart and Janet for your warm hospitality!
Janet & Stuart couldn’t have been better hosts. Our room was crisply clean with an oh, so comfy bed and a view of the sea. Janet had freshly baked breads and cookies waiting for us. There was a comfy living room with espresso machine, drink glasses, etc at the ready for guests. The breakfast room was perfect. Stuart served us individually prepared breakfast from a generous menu. I had scrambled eggs with smoked salmon - oh my! There were also fruit, cereal and yogurt choices. Exclusive parking was right across the street. Dunvegan castle and coral beach are close by. Unfortunately, my Mother became ill, so we had to leave Tables Guest House a day early. We couldn’t make calls with our cell phones. So Stuart set up a “desk” area for us using their phone to make calls. So generous! Thank you again Janet & Stuart for your welcoming ways. We hope to visit you again.
If I could rate this charming place higher I would! Perhaps the nicest place we've ever stayed. Hosts, Janet & Stuart have thought of everything to make a comfortable stay. From the homemade treats and delish breakfast to waterproof spray for your shoes. Rooms were immaculate. Comfy beds with luxury linens. Dunvegan is very small so food options are limited, but very tasty places close by. HIGHLY recommend!
Very comfortable and nice staff. Made to order breakfast is a plus.
Beautiful and peaceful location. Owners were very nice and accommodating.
Lovely guest house , nothing was too much trouble for the owners, lovely breakfast
The owners were wonderful. The room was quiet and comfortable. The cookies were home made and delicious and available! We felt welcomed, looked after and we were very happy with our time here. Highly recommend
Charming Guest House In great location with beautiful views. We were warmly welcomed with delicious baked goods.
Stuart and Janet go above and beyond what most guesst houses provide. They have thought of everything you could possibly need or expect, eg, toilet fresheners, home baked biscuits, fudge and cakes, expresso and cappucinos all free at any time. Lovely sunroom to sit and have a relaxing drink in. Cannot fault this place.
Stuart and Janet were the most gracious of hosts! So welcoming and it was comforting to walk in to the smell of baking bread and sweet treats! We had everything we needed! It was a wonderful experience! One of our favorite places that we stayed!
The hosts, Janet and Stuart were wonderful
Susan and I found the Tables Guest House as we were pursuing the internet and our tour books. Boy did we make a brilliant pick! Our room was v. spacious, extremely comfy, with amazing views. Their help with our planning and their suggestions turned the Dunvegan segment of our trip into a special, memorable time in many ways.
Wonderful Hospitality
Nice clean/cute place in a good area but more importantly, I was very impressed with the hosts - just the nicest, most helpful people you could possibly meet. This was much, much better than staying in a hotel at Portree.
Exceptional stay
Exceptional place. Both Stuart and Janet were very helpfull. Excellent breakfast. The place was spotless. Highly recommended.
Great stay with excellent service.
Tables is a well run guest house in a beautiful spot not far from the fantastic Dunvegan Castle The reason i marked it down for comfort was becAuse of the matress in our room (room 4) shich Stuart said he would assess. Nive touched invluded Janet’s cakes snd biscuits and s constantly available supply of Nespresso coffee.
Great guest house
We had a very enjoyable stay with friendly hosts, made us feel very welcome and relaxed, like friends we had never met before. Breakfast was amazing, set us up for the day … would highly recommend The Tables guesthouse and if we come back to Skye we wouldn’t look passed this place .. thank you Janet and Stuart xx
Perfect b&b in a beautiful setting.
Lovely b&b in Dunvegan, with bay and hill ranges as a backdrop! Easy parkjng opposite and hosts- Stuart and Janet -were friendly, and helpful. The room (4) was quiet, clean and comfortable enough with tea/coffee facilities, as well as water and wine glassesand delicious cakes, freshly made by Janet. You could have a seat and chat outdoors with Bay views, or quiet time in the conservatory, or in the reception area- with plenty of free beverage facilities- nespresso, chocolate maker, chilled water and more cakes! The breakfast choice is extensive and freshly cooked. A great vacation, with easy routes to all the usual attractions in Skye. And after a long day a warm welcome awaits at this B&B.
We really enjoyed our stay at The Tables, where had a very warm welcome from Stuart and Janet. We were delighted with our room (No 1) which we thought was quite spacious, with lovely views of the bay and the hills beyond. We were impressed with the attention to detail, particularly in relation to sanitising and ensuring good infection control. We particularly enjoyed the excellent home cooked breakfasts, and Janet offered us her own tray bakes at every opportunity, and made us cappuccinos to go with them. Highly recommended.
The view from the property is truly beautiful. The proprietors, Stuart and Janet, have gone the extra mile to make one's stay comfortable and homely, despite all the restrictions which Covid brought.
Everything was great. The homemade treats were amazing. We would definitely stay here again
Fabulous accommodation with a great view!
Wonderful accommodation with THE best duvets (so good we went and bought one). Fabulous, friendly hosts in Stuart & Janet who nothing was too much trouble for. A wide range of hot drinks and tasty baked treats available when needed and a brilliant, freshly cooked breakfast. What more could you want!
Brief but lovely
Stay here for a couple of nights and enjoyed it. Very relaxed and friendly. Breakfast was especially good.
Great selection for breakfast. Clean room, comfy bed. Parking just across the road.
Great stay
Lovely hotel run by a really friendly and helpful couple. The room was lovely and big enough, but was slightly let down by the small and basic bathroom but I guess that was because it was in the eaves. However everything else was great, warm and clean, and delicous and freshly cooked breakfast, served under strict Covid guidlines. They even dried our boots for us after a very wet and boggy walk!
Lovely owners - private car park - wonderful breakfasts - lovely location (very near Dunvegan Castle) - good restaurant nearby (The Old School make a reservation as it's very popular)
Great stay
Very comfortable stay. Nice comfortable room overlooking Loch. Very nice home cooked breakfast.
Stuart and Janet were the finest hosts we have yet to encounter. They thought of everything their guests could possibly need and supplied it, everything and more! The rooms are beautiful, clean, comfortable and have a great view. Janet made us a delicious bagged lunch for an early start day on the Isle. Of our 7 stops through Scotland and England The Tables was our favorite.
Janet and Stuart made our visit a home away from home. Nothing was too much trouble. I doubt there was anything they missed....a huge sewing kit, coffee and tea, though better in the lounge/reception area, where a coffee machine was available, and ice if needed. Breakfast was extensive and enjoyable. I've stayed in many places and can't think of anywhere that had such attention to detail. Many thanks to both Janet and Stuart for everything, they certainly take then time and trouble to enhance your time with them. thoroughly recommended.
Owners very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble
This place is in it’s own league! One of the nicest place to stay. We loved it! The owner couple was adorable. Very nice breakfast. Comfortable bed. Very quiet place to rest after active day. Nice small store and couple of restaurants nearby. Plenty of parking space. This I can easily recommend!
Very friendly and welcoming. Nice, clean and quiet room. Good breakfast. Enjoyed our stay. Highly recommend.

Dunvegan Delight
Stuart and Janet were wonderful hosts. Delicious homemade treats upon arrival. Graciously let us borrow trekking poles for hiking and even dried our soaked boots afterwards. Picturesque location on the Isle of Skye.
