Litet trevligt hotell med mycket vänlig och hjälpsam personal. Vårat rum var stort med de bekvämligheter som behövs. Dock ingen städning av rummet de 3 nätter vi bodde där.

“Highly suspicious that all these glowing reviews might be fake. This place is an absolute dump—filthy, mold everywhere, and the AC doesn’t even work. To make matters worse, they don’t even have a computer; they log your information manually with handwriting like it’s the Stone Age. It’s absurdly far from CMB airport. This was a total SCAM. AVOID this place at all costs!”

Reasonably priced Hotel 100m from the beach

The first room assigned to me had non-functioning A/C so the owner kindly moved me into the adjacent room which had a working A/C, but a leaky toilet. It was a nice main floor room opening onto the pool with 11' ceilings and a refrigerator.

Manager very cooperative, would order tuk tuk for you, give info when asked and exchange money .nothing seemed to be much trouble. highly recommend this hotel.

Clean hotel, small but usable pool and good bathroom

ok for an airport stay

A decent, basic hotel in a good location, with plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. Rooms were a nice size. They do an ok breakfast, and have a kettle in the room with tea and coffee. Shower was good and plenty of hot water. Staff were friendly. Great tuk tuk drivers just outside. Downside was no pool loungers. I booked this place as a chill out at the start of my trip but there was only one broken sun lounger so I couldn’t relax by the pool and had to either go to the beach or pay another hotel to use their pool. I wouldn’t have booked this one if I’d have known Also they didn’t clean the room the 4 nights I was there even though I asked.

Tucked away off the main road, near beach, this hotel is clean with a nice pool. Lots of good restaurants within a block or two.

The property was very cozy and personal. It has a nice pool. The room was big! The location was very convenient. There were restaurants within walking distance. The beach was about 5min walk across the street. The water was not inviting for me the hotel was about 15minute walk or a quick tuktuk ride away to the main bar areas of Negombo. I would definitely stay in this hotel again. The price was unbeatable and the hotel facilities were good.

Great hotel would stay again

Great hotel - booked there the night before we were flying home as it's so near the airport. The staff made us feel really welcome, were so friendly and helpful. the rooms were very comfortable - though a little hot as you need the key to have the electricity and air con on. But very roomy and have everything you need. The pool was also lovely.

Easy start to trip in Sri Lanka

great start to our Sri Lankan experience. great spot in Negombo, close to the beach, restaurants, and bars. Great restaurant across the road, and little convenience stores right on the corner. Can get a sim card next door to make travel easier. Breakfast was adequate and the staff were wonderful. Only criticism is that there was no mini fridge in the room, and this would make it so much better.

Good location

This is a great boutique hotel for an overnight stay before heading to the airport. Kingsley heads up a great team of friendly staff.

Lovely stay at The Suite 262. Spacious, clean and comfortable room with excellent air conditioning and a balcony with a view. Great breakfast. Lovely pool which was great to have in the Negombo heat. Convenient location close to the beach and restaurants.

Lovely staff. Excellent breakfast. Was able to keep room past check out time due to very late flight home at a very reasonable rate - thank you! Only thing missing was a bar service which would have been lovely for a night cap!

Nice clean hotel with everything you need for a quick stay after landing in Sri Lanka. Breakfast was good and plentiful. Employees very helpful and helped us to arrange a driver for the following day.

Well located, affordable luxury accommodation

We were really impressed with The Suite 262 from booking until departure. We were expecting train tickets to be delivered and the hotel was very helpful in letting us know they had arrived a couple of days before we did. Check in was seamless. The room was really nice and clean. The shower was amazing. There is also a lovely pool area where we spent a relaxing afternoon. Very well recommended.

The location is average. The choice of breakfast was limited as vegetarians despite the fact we cimmunicated iur needs well in advance.

The hotel was in a great spot on the main strip and a short walk to the beach. The staff was very attentive and accommodating, and the rooms were big, well A/C’d and very clean. We had a wonderful stay at Suite 262! (Also definitely eat at the Sea View across the street!)

Nice hotel, helpful and friendly hotel with good facilities

Because of our crazy schedule in Sri Lanka, we stayed in this hotel on three separate occasions during our visit. The staff was wonderful. We needed a taxi on Christmas morning for a ride to the airport and the owner called a friend to take us after we tried the local companies and they wanted to charge 3 times the normal cost. We stayed in 3 different rooms and all were clean spacious and what we needed after our travels. The hotel is set back from the main road and a little hard to find if you are not paying attention. Overall the location is good as there is shopping and restaurants within walking distance. Kinda scary our first night, but when seeing the neighborhood in the day light, we felt better. Breakfast was good and filling. 3 minute walk to beach.

Good night stay before venturing into Sri Lanka.

We stayed for a short layover before departing to Sigiriya. The staffs are friendly and the room is spacious.

Comfortable and convenient

I stayed 2 nights at The Suite 262, and found the room to be clean, quiet and comfortable. The pool is in a relaxing courtyard, and the beach is only a short walk from the hotel. There are also several shops and restaurants nearby. The air conditioning worked well, and the room was quite spacious. The mini-fridge wasn't pre-stocked with any beverages or snacks, but was useful for chilling the bottle of water that I'd purchased at a nearby shop. An electric kettle for boiling water was also provided. I was told that breakfast was served from 7 AM to 9:30 AM, but I knew that I wouldn't experience it because my flight arrived after midnight and I was too jet-lagged to fall asleep before 3 AM. I tried to convey this to the front desk, but they called my room at 9 AM both mornings to inquire whether I was coming down for breakfast, waking me out of a much-needed deep sleep in both cases. So it's not a great place to recover from jet lag, but a comfortable choice otherwise. A quick 400 rupee ride in a tuk-tuk gets you to the Negombo train station, where a journey of about an hour reaches Colombo Fort Station for a bit of exploring. Return transport to the airport is about 800 rupees via tuk-tuk, though they're not allowed to drop you off at the terminal. I was traveling light, so the walk of a few hundred meters was no problem.

Highly recommend

Our first night in Sri Lanka was spent at suite 262 Negombo and it did not disappoint. Staff and facilities were great, very good breakfast as well

Bed was two singles pushed together and quite hard. Not a great amount to do in Negombo. Pool nice and clean.

Great for an overnight stay. Hotel is clean, comfortable, and quiet. Breakfast by the pool was delightful. Owners arranged for very reasonably priced taxi from airport. I enjoyed my stay very much.

Excellent hidden gem in Negombo.

Really good. Great service. Hotel is brand new (2years d) and kept super clean. The only downside was a fuzzy TV signal but then we weren't watching much TV. No bar either. Breakfast was fine and no shortage of food places nearby should you wish to try. Mr Silva and his team were great hosts.

Solo getaway - 3 nights

Decent hotel with ready to order breakfast daily and extra effort made to ensure nice stay. No laundry but provided around the corner at low cost. Nice, small hotel. No noise.

Convenient airport stay

I only stayed here for an afternoon and checked out super early morning to fly home. Pool was nice, room was clean, price was great for the time frame. Check in/out was easy. For a quick stay I absolutely recommend.

Warm welcome, room clean and pool a very nice respite - all set back from the busy road - AC a bit too loud for us, and could work on better coffee, but a great bargain !

Nice quiet hotel near to the beach

I arrived at the airport quite early but my taxi driver called ahead to notify them I was coming. A nice, cool drink was waiting for me and I didn't have to wait long before my room was ready. The hotel was set back a little from the road which made it quite quiet.. The room was a good size and the bed comfortable. There was a nice pool to use and areas to sit in the shade. It was a short walk to the beach and close to many of the restaurants. My breakfast was made fresh in the morning and all staff were eager to help, and friendly.

ideal for overnight stay

Good hotel which is ideal for overnight stay before or after a flight. Staff are lovely and do everything they can to make sue you are happy. Small pool was great to cool off in. The breakfast was tasty with eggs and bacon, fruit toast and drinks. The air con was effective but noisy. The room was spacious and comfortable. There was a hot shower in the evening but only lukewarm water in the morning.

Chic Boutique class

They gave us an amazing room in front of the pool, And we felt very welcomed as from the time of check in. The whole place was super clean and the manager always made sure the pool was spotless. All amenities were great, and fast wifi. Also the location was central and close to the beach. We would definitely stay here again.

A few Days relaxing

My friend and I stayed for 3 days after touring Sri Lanka. We wanted a nice place to relax by the airport. Suite 262 was perfect. Lovely accommodations and delicious breakfasts. The pool was a great place to relax. The staff was very helpful in giving suggestions. Great place to stay!!

True Sril-Lankan Ambassadors

This place is brilliant, there are so many good things to say but in particular the staff are fantastic, so friendly, so helpful, always smiling, really good people. They even let us have a very late check out for free.

Helpful management and staff

We stayed 3 nights and found the manager and staff very friendly. Kinsley seemed to be a very busy man always making sure breakfast was there soon after you sat at table. There was restaurant close that had wonderful food and a few shops to browse in. Over all hotel was clean and would stay again. Thank to all the staff for chatting to us and being welcoming

Very good location near the airport

Had a very good stay, for our first night in Sri Lanka, after 10+ hours on the plane the last thing we wanted to do was spend another few hours traveling to other parts of Sri Lanka, so this was a great first stop to get used to the time difference. Very good location close by to Negombo beach, good big, clean room. Very good comfy beds, the air con was ok. Breakfast was ok, 2 fried eggs, 2 bacon, 2 sausages , toast, juice and tea. The staff was very friendly and just a 10 min tuk tuk journey to the bus station. Would stay again for early morning flights/ first stop when landing.

Great boutique hotel with extremely friendly staff running it! They took excellent care and nothing was too much trouble. They even cooled for us a delicious home cooked dinner. The only disappointment was the location as it is a bit away from the town and all the sightseeing areas. However great value for money and very friendly family who own and manage it

Lovely hotel in good location

We loved this hotel and it was the perfect end to our holiday. The hotel was right opposite the beach, the room was really clean and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious & the staff very friendly. Best bit of the hotel was the roof terrace!

An enjoyable 3-day stay

This is a new property and so it is in good condition. The staff were all very helpful on local advice. Close to the Negombo beach, shopping, restaurants, etc. We would recommend this guest-house.

Booking issues but hotel mgtmt rectified

The hotel is on a very small plot of land. It is relatively new and so space is quite well optimised. Nothing very wrong with the rooms except that there is no lighting around the wardrobe (lightings at the bed and toilet are sufficient). Also quite a few mosquitoes but that's probably common in the Country. I should highlight that this hotel only has rooms with up to 2 beds and yet it was either the mistake of Hotels.com or the hotel to accept my booking reservation of 2 rooms for a total of 6 adults (ie we expected 3 beds in each room). Imagine my unhappiness when after a long flight into Colombo and we expect to have a good night's rest, the 6 of us were asked to cram into 4 single beds! Fortunately my call to Hotels.com and the hotel management stepping in to rectify the situation solved the problem. We were given a 3rd complimentary room so slept in a 2+2+2 configuration. However next morning posed a temporary upset as we were told that breakfast was only included for 4 adults (not 6 as we had booked). Fortunately hotel management stepped in to rectify the situation. Either Hotels.com or the hotel should be much more careful of such mattes in future as it wasn't a nice start to our Sri Lanka holiday.

2 dagars vistelse efter flyg. Perfekt läge 3 min till stranden. Gott om restauranger som serverade frukost. Enkelt boende med fräsch pool.

Many tourists recommend this hotel when arriving at midnight. After booking, I sent a message my arrival time in advance. However, a staff was sleeping at lobby and the room was very dark. It was one of reason we couldn’t find this hotel in midnight. The room was very simple and no problems to use. The manager and staff we met are very kindly.

Schönes und ruhiges Hotel
