Great value
This one is more spacious than the Mong Kok location, with a bigger common area if you're looking to work. Also much closer to the MTR. The guests are very quiet and respectful, and there is more space in the washrooms. The towels are too small, and the lockers don't fit a large check in luggage, although it is common for guests to leave luggage out and it is monitored.
Great location.
Good location
Property manager not friendly. A bit rude. Staff helpful. Facilities poor. No electricity during check in. Linen and sheets were smelly.
Best hotel as hostel in Hong Kong
We enjoy and like to stay at your place, the only problem is service of cleaning, we are stayed for 3 days and 2 night. All over aria is so good. Thank you.
The photos of bed room is not the same. The instructions on checking in are wrong.
Pokvarjene omarice, umazano
Beware -- Stay away
Good location is the only advantage that I could think of. Terrible check in experience, Plastic cabinet, broken table & chair, showering with extremely low pressure
The private room we stayed at was simply terrible.
fooled by pictures
It's cheap. That's all. It's not a hotel, like Gosiwon in Korea. I was fooled by pictures. I could hear them talking in the next room, and the bathroom smelled like a sewer. But the floor of the room was clean. I recommend you to pay more and stay at a better hotel.
Perhaps you should read the feedback i sent you on the day we checked in and you then would not have to send me request for feedback again 5 days later. I advised Expedia that the place was horrible, dirty, rock hard and tiny bed, difficult access and uncaring staff member and as soon as we checked in, we departed telling the staff member we would not be staying and when there was no response from that staff member, my wife asked ‘don’t you care’ to which her response was ‘no’. We then booked another place for the entire 5 nights. If you had read my feedback from that 1st night, you would know that i requested a refund for this miserable place as we immediately booked a hotel through Agoda for a nearby property
Should not be marketed under the same The Nap name
My private room was a far cry from what's advertised on their listings. The property a guesthouse that is quite different than the capsule hotel. While it was clear that I would not have access to the capsule hotel areas, I was not expecting such a huge delta between the two spaces. I stayed an hour, reluctantly taking a shower and then promptly leaving after having booked somewhere else to stay for the night.
I like the dining area, and i don't like the common bathroom, it's dirty it seems no one maintain the cleanliness.
It is easy and fast to check in and check out by using their machine. I added the late check out upon check in. It was HK$60. The bed is big and comfortable. I left my key card inside the bed, although no reception there, I called and they can issue me the key by their side via the phone. Fragrance machine is found in the toilet and I think they spray perfume in the room or capsule. Not bad. In short, I got what I paid for.
Convenient
Just 5 minutes from MTR station. So much food all around
Great place, near MRT and shopping mall. Kindly staff, Very nice location!!
new and clean place , staffs so friendly but too noisy while sleeping
The property was really difficult to find and we took such a long time staring around in confusion trying to identify the building it was housed in. We had the first class capsule and it was definitely not worth the money although it was significantly quieter due to less human activity above our bunk. We could still hear other people moving in and out. Also, the toilets were housed in the same cubicle with the showers. Super inconvenient because there were only 2 of the cubicles. Even if you only needed to use the toilet, you'd still have to wait for someone else to finish showering before the room will be available. Also, i don't understand why the locker was on first come first served basis, as i thought 1 capsule would be assigned to 1 locker. Most people using the lockers also didn't lock their lockers so I didn't understand why they even occupied the lockers.. Lounge area was small and cosy though, and although the place was unmanned i was able to get a response via text message really quick.
Place difficult to find.
This hotel is cool! Comfortable bed with all amenities I need. I love the ceiling of the pod! I booked one night on Expedia and eventually extended 2 more nights at this self service machine.
Compare with the capsule hotels in other countries, like Japan or Singapore, I think the capsules here are more spacious and clean. Their shower facility is amazing.
Good location, really pleasant n clean place. Fast check in n check out without any difficulty. Fast respond from their staff when we needed help.
Filthy, overcrowded, uunsafe and rundown. They don't even have room enough to store your toiletry bag, let alone your luggage.
There should be a clear description of what to expect at this place. Warning to all patrons: stay here ONLY and ONLY if you need a place to sleep (in a pod, that is) without luggage.Just bring yourself. NO reception so you'll have to check-in electronically using the computer by the door. I was shocked and disappointed I called an old friend and luckily she offered me to stay with her after seeing the condition of this place. For security issues, I would'nt be comfortable leaving my valuables in the small hallway together with other guests' luggages, share bathrooms and other living areas with them. One of the guest pointed out there is a CCTV camera where the luggages are but who knows if somebody drags other's stuff as well? He even said some people stole his food from the fridge! Some are loud and rowdy, I saw people come and go, and I didn't like a bit what I saw. Privacy? you'll have it when you're inside your pod, like you're in a coffin' installed inside a 'cave'. Worst place ever. Wasted my time and money. I still wonder if the good reviews are even legit.
Our overall stay was good though the street and the building itself is a bit sketchy but we love the location it’s near harbour view, clock tower and canton road. We had a hard time looking for the place, they can actually put a signage as a guide.
Read to end for location instructions...It's like a hostel but with sleeping privacy! There are two hallways that are dark and quiet where the pods are located. The common areas are kept clean and nice. Everything feels new. Towels and other amenities are there for you to use at will. For a cheap stay this met all my needs. The most important thing everyone needs to know is how to get here!!! You don't write the specific instructions anywhere and it isn't obvious. Once you find building 42 walk in the entrance with the sign that says spring deer restaurant. Go to the back, turn right and take the 1st elevator on your right to the 4th floor. Exit elevator and turn right, turn right again through the set of doors and walk down half a floor. The nap is on the left. The check-in machine is next to the door. The receipt has the code to open the door once you've checked in. Remember this code. The key is only for the pod not for the main entrance. Have fun!
Place is not where it says it is. Refund wanted but didn’t get it.
Clean and have privacy. However there’s little aid especially when there’s no one around to seek help. Even when I have tried to call there’s was no response and I have no idea whom the owner was either since as there wasn’t any formal introduction and it was a shared place.
Check In is self check-in by machine which also support Japanese. The smell of the room was bit peculiar so I wanted Fabreeze. Hotel location is quite good.
It’s new and clean and quiet. Everyone staying here follows the rules, no disturb by loud noise even though it’s capsule hotel. Bathroom is nice. Amenities are okay. Self-checkin and checkout is convenient. The only thing that I don’t like of the hotel is that it’s quite hard to find. I arrived there late at night and I got lost in the building. No clear hotel sign at 1st floor, I had to walk around like 30 mins. till I found no.42 and the elevator was broken so I had to use the stair. The building is quite old though the hotel is new. To get there, you have to take notice of ‘Spring Deer’ restaurant sign at the 1st floor. The hotel is located on 4th floor above this restaurant.
The private pods & safety of belongings. The property was clean and modern
Schlecht
Cheap and great value
Cheap price for a stay at TST. An automatic check-in and check-out machine. Chose a private room The mattress is very thin like Japanese tatami, very thin not for everyone. The pillows are nice though. The socket is not at a good location next to the mattress and one socket is blocked. Shower is fine but the wall decor is a bit worn off. Great shower head though. So overall it's good but definitely not for everyone, maybe a great option for backpackers.
dirty and unconfortable. bathroom very bad
Good location
The building is very old, but the room is acceptable for one night stay. Convenient location.
Toliet and location environment is not that good
Not comparable with Japan capsula hotel Level:-/
Wanted to copy the Japanese casuals Hotels but somehow failed. It is more a hostel, not even comparable with any capsula hotel in Japan. In Japan, a Capsula hotel is a Business Class hotel ususally. The biggest advantage of The Nap: very central and for HongKong a good pricey

Good if you’re on a budget - facilities are clean and it’s nice and central. Not exactly as was advertised - capsules weren’t as modern as the photos make them out to be, and the mattress was very thin.
