Nice place and good breakfast food but they don’t have extra beach towels

A basic and clean room away from the the bustle of white beach, but onlu ten minutes walk from white beach. Good aircon and shower would stay again if I ever return to Boracay.

Awesome dorms

Stayed in the 8 bed mixed dorm. Beds and pillows were incredibly comfortable and the room was very clean and spacious. Aircon is very cold. Outside sitting area is very nice, and beers at the counter are only 50 peso. Staff is very friendly. I could go on and on but i highly recommend and look forward to my next stay.

Nice an quiet, relaxing, more then just a basic room. walking distance from Dmail and the main beach, and next to another beach.

Great mellow place

The stay was great. A mellow vibe, staff were friendly, and free breakfast. The only bad thing I would say is getting to the lazy dog bed and breakfast is kind of sketchy. Other than that, it was great.

Awesome pad

Great place with friendly, helpful, wonderful staff. The place is clean but needs a little maintenance. Otherwise, it’s a real cool spot to hang out away from the crowds of White Beach. The food is decent, too.

Lovely little inn just off Bulabog beach

Excellent hostel with great breakfast and lovely service. Room wasn’t cleaned or towels changed during my stay but don’t think this is part of the service. All in all a lovely stay, I will be back!

Its nice to be lazy and love it

I love the Lazy Dog Inn because its very relaxing and quiet. Its in the middle of traffic and only 5-minutes walk from Station 2, party town. Loves the daytime and nighttime activites. Lots of food to eat and hotel staff are very nice and friendly

Basic room of a queen bed, tv, 1 table & 2 chairs & air con..this was classed as a superior room. No complaints though....just in case people expect more with this title. We loved it..Very relaxed with cushions to sit or lie on, benches/table for eating. VG breakfasts. It's open so only fans so can be warm.

You get what you pay

The room is non carpet. I can find spider web at room corners. The safety box is made of build-in wood. Not digital lock.Overall this hotel is a standard 3 star hotel. There was no electric for 40 minutes in the second morning of my stay, I asked the staff about what happen and he just said" ah.. got problem". What I like the most is their breakfast staff. Very friendly and informative. Note: do not get trasnportation from hotel to boracay airport. It's very expensive. I asked to go to boracay airport from hotel, and the price is 600P per person. Then I decided not to take offer. In the end, I used 275P to reach the airport (100P for tricycle to the port, 125P to go to the mainland, and 50P from the port to boracay airport) by myself. The tricycle is 24/7 and remember to bargain for small discount,so do not worry about leaving too early. However the boat service only starts after 4am.

Convenient hotel located in a quiet area

Good hotel 5mins walk from all the hustle and bustle of station 2. It is located a few steps away from bulabog beach where all the kite surfing action takes place. The rooms have no safe but I never found anything missing and it felt quite safe. The property has no generator which is a shame as it seems that power cuts are the order of the day in Boracay (at least during my stay).

Convenient Located and Clean Hostel

The Hostel was clean and spacious, good wifi, was a couple minutes from the beach and 5-10 min walk to DMall. Ideally located and friendly staff.

Quiet location. Great value

If you're a wind surfer, it's a great location and quiet. If you like to lay on the beach, then it's a 10-15 minute walk to the other side of the island, which is also where most of the restaurants, shopping and activities are.

Nice quiet location close to the kite surfing beach. Not too far a walk to the more sheltered popular beach on the other side of the island.

Not bad for only bed and breakfast hotel stay

Comfortable mattress in the 2-3 stars resort/hotel was totally out of my expectation! I really felt great and happy for my 4 nights stay. They also provided doorstep delivery service for breakfast, this was good because their dining area always fully occupied in the morning. But the electricity supply at that area have been cut off twice, once in the midnight and once in the evening. I believe that that was not the hotel's problem, but the area nearby too. Overall this hotel was good to stay and i got a good service by their staffs.

Nice close to the beach

Nice atmosphere, more of a hostel than a hotel. local staff was very friendly. The room was not like to pictures, very plain with no color on the walls or pictures, no furniture, uncomfortable bed. We have to check out a night earlier than expected and they would not refund the final day.

lazy dog is just 20m from bulabog beach, but beach is ugly and dirty from winds blowing on it. it is kitesurfer spot. 10min walk and you're on white beach and that one is best beach i've been. wifi in hotel usually don't work but that is problem on all island. room was cleaned every day with new towels each day

Location, Location, Location

The down side, they are located in a isolated area such that you have you to walk through some rough (street smart people) areas to get the main island activities. They had a staff person attempt to link us to a "cousin" for an island tour who would have charged us for false fees on this trip had we taken it. The upside is that that staff were very accomondating and responsive to our needs and the foods and drinks were nicely done.

Get what you pay for

Great location close to the beach and some great cocktail bars. Very average on comfort levels- air con very loud and turns itself off. Breakfast decent selection.

Good value for money but change the beds pls

This was a nice trip and the hotel is a very good value for money. The only problem I had was the bed. A bed made in bamboo is way too noisy when you want to get intimate with your partner.

It was a good place if you have limited budget and want to have a good place to stay on Boracay. Their bed and breakfast are really great. You definitely can enjoy ur holiday at here.

The service was very good. The internet didn't work much but management was on top of it and got it fixed. The shower didn't work to well and could have used more towels. But over all it was a great place and relaxing. The price was fair. I would recommend anyone that is looking for a relaxing and quite place to stay.

Nice quiet hotel near the kiteboarding beach.

This B&B is in a really nice location to the kiteboarding beach (seconds away). It is only a 5 minute walk to white beach and the walk is safe without any really sketchy areas. The food options have both traditional Filipino food and some western style options. Staff is super friendly and informative if you have any questions about booking tours, getting around, or calling for a tricycle. It's a good place for pet lovers as there are a few pets that live there. The rooms are well maintained, they get cleaned everyday. The only con would be that the air conditioner is a bit loud, but that's not a deal breaker, at least in my opinion. I plan to visit Boracay again in the future, and would definitely stay here again and also recommend it to friends.

Great B&B close to Kite Surfing Beach

We had an enjoyable time at the Lazy Dog. The staff were very friendly, helped us arrange tours, answered questions. The food in the restaurant was tasty. Walk to D Mall & White Beach was about 7-10 minutes.

not luxurious but relaxing place for an escape from the noise of a crowd and you get quiet sleep during the night. easy access to bolabog beach which known as best beach for kitesurfing and 10 minutes walk to white beach.

staff were really friendly. loved the food there. abit of a walk to d mall and white beach. may consider staying elsewhere if you want to stay on the beachfront. however, really close to bulabog beach for the kite surfers.

Definitely NO wi-fi in the room

Contrary to the description there is absolutely NO wi-fi in any room, and the wi-fi in the public area has the speed of a 56k modem. Apart from that though, the rooms are clean, albeit no windows. The rooms also have multi-national plug sockets which are a bonus. The breakfast is good, with a good choice and available all day. The staff are also very friendly. 1 minute walk to the beach. 7 minutes to the D-Mart

They served very nice breakfast, nice and friendly hotel hotel staff. The only problem is the shower which do not have water sometimes.

Cosy with character

We came to Boracay with the end objective of spending our time learning to dive. We found that Lazy Dog turned out to be the perfect place for us. We spent 7 days here. It was close to the beach and a 5-7 min walk away from all the shops and restaurants on the island. The rooms were cosy and perfect for us - not too fancy, but just enough to be comfortable. The toilets were also a good size and everything worked just fine. The beds were comfortable and we got good nights of rest every night. The cafe is open most of the day and has a nice airy-seating. You get a lot of breeze from the sea, without it being too windy either. The pancakes and Vietnamese coffee were the best things on the menu. The owner is very friendly and always ready to help, as are the staff. The dog, Whiskey, is adorable and keeps out of the way. He lives up to the name, indeed.

So cozy

This is not a spa hotel.. but that being said, it was so wonderful. The staff is so nice and so very helpful. I felt so at home the entire time. It was so close to the beach full of activities. And walking to the White Beach only takes 10 minutes. It is also very affordable. Great food and drinks. So lovely. I hope we can go back!

budget and a nice place to chill

Not too far from D'Mall. Approximately 5 mins walk and you will reach the busy part of the island. Many drivers do not know the location of the hotel, just let them know the name of the beach/address and you should be fine. Love the breakfast. Love the common area. Room is alright with plenty of power points and good water pressure.

A Lazy 2 days by the beach

Quite a nice place to stay for city dwellers like us, this kind of environment has all totally disappear from Singapore , and it also value for money , walking distance to the major shopping mall , restaurants , hotel staff are friendly too . Highly recommended for budget travelers who only need a place to sleep with out any of the basic luxuries found in most tourist class hotels.

Great Location, Better Price!

Our stay at Lazy Dog was amazing. It is located steps away from Bulabog Beach which is where all the water sports happen. It's also only a 10 minute walk to the shopping and eating at D'Mall and a 15 minute walk to boat station two on White beach. The staff was incredibly friendly, the included breakfast was phenomenal (I highly recommend the beef tapa!) and whiskey the dog was adorable. I'm not gonna lie, don't expect resort status because that's not the kind of place it is. I would describe it as upscale budget friendly. The patio/outdoor seating area was also great.

Noise noise noise

I liked this place in earlier years when it had lower occupancy and was cheaper. Now it is just too crowded and noisy and expensive for me. The noise sources at night include patrons of the hotel restaurant which is just outside the doors of the rooms; TVs of hotel guests; the loud conversations of guests coming back from bars late at night; loud conversations of people walking on the street behind some of the units; the mewling and howling of feral cats; and plumbing noises and loud foot-falls from upstairs units (if you are in a ground floor unit). Then at around 6:30 am you get the noisy talk of arriving hotel/restaurant staff. The location is a dank, airless lot about 200 m in from Bolabog Beach (unswimmable due to septic runoff, according to a resident). To top it all off, the wifi also seems fluky.

LAZY DOG isnt lazy at ALL

Lazy Dog is beautiful and clean. Warm and generous people work there. They have a golden retriever named Wesley (were they derived the name of their hotel/bed and breakfast since he is very lazy). The breakfast were all enticing. The location is really a plus (it means its not noisy, quiet and safe). The management is very accommodating and polite. Plus they would provided you with all the things that they can provide. Will definitely stay here again next year!

No AC, but otherwise great

My boyfriend and I recently stayed here and had a pretty good time. The hotel is right next to Bulabog Beach and about a 10 minute walk away from the beautiful White Beach. Although Bulabog Beach usually isn't recommended for swimming/lying on the beach, we found that when we were there (early April), Bulabog Beach was perfect and calm (not great for kitesurfing, but great for lazing around). Regardless, we spent most of our time on White Beach because the sand and water are a bit nicer and there's more to do. The AC in our room didn't work properly (only blew warm air out) the two nights we were there. We mentioned it to the front desk and they said they would get someone to fix it, but apparently never did. It was quite uncomfortable in the room those two nights and if we had stayed there any longer we definitely would have asked to move to a different room. That was our one big complaint. Otherwise the service was good -- the front desk people helped up plan activities, find restaurants, etc., and even called a trike for us at 4 in the morning. The lounge is beautiful. You could definitely spend a whole day just hanging out there. I believe the cafe that serves breakfast is open all day with food/drinks. One night, they had drink specials for P$50 -- quite a good deal. All in all not bad.

Lazy Dog Stay

The place was pretty decent overall. The breakfast was great with toast, fruit, pancakes and omlette station. The room was well cleaned. For some reason I must have misunderstood that it wasnt right on the beach. It wasnt too far away but would have nice to have been connected to the beach. Just a 10 minute walk to D'Mall.

Too Simple

Service: The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. Condition of the hotels: The hotel is very simple and native, don't expect modern touch up. The maintenance is bare minimum, you can get by with it if you are a natural lover and love camping. Room Cleanliness: Overall happy with the bed but some area are dusty. Location: Deep in hard to find from main road, plus side is near a beach. Personal Note: The water pressure of the island is low, so occasionally you get water dripping down which is impossible to take a bath. Maybe the hotel can install some water tanks of something to ensure better water flow. Will I stay again? Nope…

Fantastic Place

This is a really nice and cozy little place. Quiet and not directly in the noisy bar, restaurant, and party area, although just a 5 minute walk away from that. The staff are all super nice and friendly but never intrusive. The prices are very reasonable. The place is ideal for kite surfers as it is just about 20 meters away from Bulabog Beach. A very pleasant and clean little Bed & Breakfast.

Great Getaway!

This bed and breakfast was very chilled and relaxed, we enjoyed our stay with this hotel. If you're looking for that beach-y and relaxing ambiance along with that tropical Filipino feel, I would recommend this place. The rooms are kept clean and services work well. The staff were very helpful and friendly, and made us feel right at home. The breakfast itself were very decent and there were enough choices that it won't bore you (I tried both Filipino [tapsilog] and Western [banana pancakes] breakfast). One of the best parts about this place is the literal adaption of its name. Staying here will make you feel lazy because it's so very cozy. We were even able to have our breakfast in the balcony as it was a short distance from their canteen kitchen. Although situated on the quieter side of the island, the location proved to decent enough to walk to the famous White Beach. Check-in and out went smoothly and you can request them to arrange transport back to the jetty port. Highly recommended!

Excellent Value

The Lazy Dog was a great little hotel. It is located close to the back beach and all the water sport activites and a short walk away from the downtown area. They had an excellent room and breakfast was fantastic. There is nothing wrong with the hotel but if I were to stay at Boracay again I would perfer to be right on the main White Beach area.

Cosy place close to bulabog beach

Cosy place with a great breakfast. Rooms are a bit dark and the bathroom is small. There were a lot of mosquitos in the room and the eating/relaxing area.

DON'T RECOMMEND

DON'T RECOMMEND. Really bad. The problems are 2 cockroaches in our room. We have traveled a lot and this in not OK, especially in Boracay. We would expect something special, better... But NO cockroach, sand in the furniture, hairs in the shower (not ours).. The wifi doesn't work in the room, event though it was written I the equipment of the rooms. And other. This was our most expensive accommodation in the Philippines and also the worst.. Not to mention only negative things - the breakfast was good!!

舒適整潔安靜的地方

離Dmall很近，走路就會到，路口有超商，地點不錯！房間很大，也很多收納空間，公共空間也可以拖鞋子坐著。早餐有飯、歐姆蛋、鬆餅可選擇，鬆餅好吃。要注意的是，沒有附任何沐浴用品，記得自己帶，超商也有賣單包裝的很方便。

직원들친절하고 혼자있기 딱좋은 곳이였어요. 냉장고가 없는게 단점이긴하지만, 블라복비치 이용하기 너무 좋았고 강아지 동반이 가능한 곳이라 맘에듭니다. 금요일은 디제잉하는분이 오셔서 클럽분위기로 파티도했어요~^^ 저는 전체적으로 만족합니다~

不錯的菲式民宿..雖然腳被咬紅紅的..民宿人員很好說可幫忙換房..但我覺得還好沒事不用換..等我退房記得清潔就好了..仍然是舒適的..可嘗試新體驗.早餐好吃.餐點也好吃
