Nice place to stay

It is in a great location for whatever we were looking to do. The rooms are nice but the studio one is very tight for a family of 4 but we made it work. Our Murphy beds headboard was completely broken. We also kept finding huge dead cockroaches. Yikes.

Awesome experience for a stay with family.

Third time staying at this property, and it is a great place to stay in the west side area. Safe area within walking distance for restaurants and beaches. Plenty of parking and there is a nice shopping center nearby for all your needs. It is not a luxury resort but it has everything needed, and having two baths with laundry is great.

The property was in a really nice location near the golf course and walking distance to the beach. It was nice to have a washer and dryer in the unit. The room itself was clean and spacious.

Great location.

Overall great place to stay. Our flight landed after hours and the phone line to check-in on was busy. We had to drive to another location to check-in. Other than that, we had a great stay. All the essential kitchen supplies and there was in room laundry which was a bonus. Great location to stay and would stay there again.

Nice property with kitchen fully equipped, washer and dryer. Within minutes from a gorgeous beach with 2 areas - swimming (Napili Bay) and amazing snorkeling off the beach (Kapalua Bay).

Was a great stay. Except the dogs barking next door. Did not bother me because I am a heavy sleeper but kept my girls awake

Very nice stay. Very laid back. Very comfy. Wish the pool would have been a bit warmer but I bet it's perfect in the hot season. Enjoyed our stay very much.

Reasonably priced and offers many amenities. Kitchen and laundry included. Felt very safe! Walking distance to a number of beautiful trails!

Not worth it

The beds were horribly uncomfortable. The windows are old style Florida windows with small horizontal panes that don’t block out any noise that you use a lever to open and close. Even when “closed” they don’t block sound and are super noisy. The workers start at 7:30 am, rolling carts on the parking area right next to the rooms and are very loud. As people start moving about, it gets extremely noisy with guests and staff talking and rolling carts and luggage. If you want to sleep beyond 7:30 am, you’re out of luck. The blinds on the windows let in sunlight, another hindrance to sleep. There are very few electrical outlets and not in places where you expect. It was good to have a washer and dryer, but they are very small. Overall, the condo was beautiful, but so small that when you pulled down the Murphy bed and pulled out the sofa bed, you had no room whatsoever. For the price, the condo was in no way appealing.

The room was fine, the pool was very nice aand the staff was pleasant. My only complaint is that the room looked much nicer in the photos and was expensive for a studio unit.

It was very fun

We enjoyed our five days at this property. This one bedroom unit was very well equipped with more than adequate kitchen utensils and paper and laundry supplies. There was a washer/dryer in the unit as well as 2 full bathrooms. The unit was clean. It was generally quiet in the day not, but since our unit was near the front of the property, we were subject to some road noise. However, I think those units located further back into the property were not subject to this noise. Check in was smooth though we had to register remotely since we arrived after the on-site office closed for the day. When we did deal with the on-site staff, we found her to not be very helpful and in fact, was rude. She was the only negative experience we had during our stay.

Great beaches nearby. Suite is nice with king bed, kitchen, living room. But, hundreds of small ants, cockroaches at night, you hear every step from the upper suite, office is closed 2 days a week, no beach chairs or umbrella, neighbor dog barking daily, roosters wake you up at 5 am

The location is amazing, but it's so noisy with the all the roosters running around being super loud 3-4 am waking you up every night until morning. Property has all the necessities, but it's very aged.

Look and bbq was great. Great parking. Need a little bit more on local attractions, shops and eating places.

Very nice

This property is not right on the beach, but it is a short walk to Napili Beach or Kapalua Beach. Honokeana Bay is a few blocks away with street parking available if you don’t want to walk. Most people referto this as the snorkeling cove or the turtle Bay. This property is adjacent to local homes on one side and a golf course on the other. As with everything in Hawaii, bring earplugs if you don’t want to hear roosters or dogs during the night. We stayed at this property 20 years ago and it’s still as well kept and as pleasant of a location as we found it to be then. Avoiding Kanapali is a priority when we are in Maui, and this is one of the properties that helps us stay out of the high-rise buildings. There were two gas grills in the pool and hot tub area. They were two burner grills so it may not be the place to bring a thick steak with the expectation of grilling something quickly. The kitchen was well equipped. In unit laundry with provided detergent means you can pack very lightly for your trip and just do laundry as needed while you’re at the beach. Some restaurants and activities in Lahaina were open and this provides a nice platform to visit from. Nearby grocery stores and even a farmer’s market nearby provided plenty of food choices during our stay.

Everything is brand new. Supper clean and easy.

Lisa at the front desk was so friendly, helpful and a delight, really enjoyed this property. Would recommend it too others.

So convenient and great price

Lisa the administrator was both friendly and accommodating. The pool was great and the location was a short walk from the beach.

The unit was pretty dated, in need of some attention, footsteps from above a little loud, but a nice small complex overall, safe & quiet (except for AC and upstairs footsteps).

Excellent value, room included washer and dryer, full kitchen with a balcony, two tv's and two full rest rooms. What else could someone want? Oh yes the swim pool was excellent and the beach right across the street. Wow. Going again for sure.

This place was within a 5 minute walk to our favorite snorkeling beach in Maui, Kapalua. There was easy parking.The room was well equipped. Loved that there was a washer/dryer. There was a patio where we could hang our wet things from going to the beach. One thing to note is that the office is only open Wednesday-Sunday from 8am-5pm so if you need to check in, check out or need assistance outside of those hours, you had to contact their sister property. It wasn't a big deal but worth noting. Also, the water from the shower didn't get super hot.

Great place to stay great location

Building was great and so was the communication. Only thing I have to say is that we did have ants and they did have housekeeping come and disinfect twice which was great but there was still some in our cupboards and in our cereal box which made me sad bc I couldn’t eat it other than that it was great.

Close proximity to dining, easy parking options, the unit's furnishings were up to date, contemporary and comfortable. The entertainment (TV) options could use more explanation in terms of use and navigation to take proper advantage of the system.

We had such a wonderful one-week stay at Garden West Maui. The suite was located near two wonderful beaches. The property check-in staff was nothing but incredible. Lisa was friendly, helpful, and very accommodating.

Great news place to stay with the family! Our favourite area is Kapalua and this offers a very reasonable rate for the location. The space was wonderful for our family of 4. 2 washrooms, a kitchen and a balcony - we will be back. :)

Close to the beach

The property was nice with the exception of the poor howling dog next door and the parking spaces are tight other than that, we enjoyed the room and walking distance to the beach

The location is everything! It's clean enough. Not uncomfortable but also not plush. I loved the location being so close to beaches and dining options and a grocery store. Friendly staff. The washer/dryer inside the unit was very helpful.

The place was quiet and the nature was gorgeous around the property. The kitchen had all the kitchen ware that you need for a quick cooking. I would definitely consider this place for a next stay. We did have 3 cockroaches inside but it is a tropical place so it didn't worried me much. :)

The room and the hotel were exceptional… every thing perfect , if there is something to mention , would be better having someone in reception 7 days a week.

Great location, perfect for families

Clean and spacious, we stayed in a 1 bedroom suite that had two full baths and laundry, full kitchen which made it extremely convenient and comfortable for our family. Location is perfect, two amazing beaches within walking distance

Grounds well maintained, room was nice and overall clean. But in the bathroon there were roaches!

It was quiet and close by the beach.

We liked having the washer & Dryer unit in the room and the full kitchen was great. There were cockroaches in our room. The TV did not work for most of our stay and when it did, it was slow to respond and the channel selection was VERY limited. The workers ignored the no smoking signs and we had to walk through a cloud of cigarette smoke one time to get to our room. Definitely will NOT stay here again!

Way too noisy a/c unit right at the window with poor ventilation, the toilet tank flushed on its own every three minutes, resort fees for a swimming pool on site . Not recommended

Get what you pay for…

Despite the very friendly and helpful staff, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. I dealt with roaches in the bathroom, the bed was uncomfortable, and the roosters seemed to live right outside my window. If none of those things bother you, the pros are that there was a washer/dryer and kitchen in each unit and it was a short walk to the beach. Ultimately, this stay what priced very cheap and you get what you pay for but I wish I had sprung for something a little more relaxing.

We loved staying here!!! The best location- walkable to Napili and Kapalua. Clean, nice pool and hot tub. We will definitely be back!!

I love the fact that it was 3 minutes away walking from Napili beach . Close to Bobs rentals and close to groceries stores. The one bedroom suite was really nice!! The only thing I did not like that the roosters would start singing like at 330am so I had to turn on a video with raining sounds that way I could hear the singing of the roosters and it did help .

We felt the Aloha from the Auntie at the front desk upon check in. Toilets in our unit need some maintenance.

The rooms were clean, the kitchen was well stocked, it was a great experience!!!

Room 400 was not cleaned properly. Roosters were very loud, which kept me up most of the night until around 6am when I remembered that I had brought earplugs. The clerk kindly got me into a new room that was more quiet, and cleaner. The rest of my stay was pleasant. I got to enjoy the pool, and hot tub, as well as walk to the nearby beach to snorkle. I would stay again, but would probably ask for any room besides 400, or for that matter, any one in the back of the property where the roosters roam.

Great place to stay, nices staff ,very friendly.

We really enjoyed staying at this place and felt like being at home. We were so surprised that the room came with a washer and dryer and free detergent! The kichen has everything including salt and pepper! The washroom has extra shampoo, body lotion, tissue boxes, toilet paper and towers! There is a amazing beach path just a few minutes walking distance away.

The Gardens of West Maui Mo Bettah!

Very clean, well appointed, and comfortable with all the amenities one could want. Located within walking distance of everything you need. If they were available on a year-round basis I would love to rent or buy a unit!

There were cockroaches. While we were trying to sleep it was loud. When I arrived for a late check-in the office was closed and I had a hard time finding my room/key. No one came to clean our room the whole time we were there or replenish our towels/wash rags. The only good thing was how big the unit was & we had close parking to our room which was nice.

I was in Maui for 4 days. My stay was wonderful! Although I did not have a chance to use the pool or lei making on Monday. I still had a great time. I also enjoyed talking the the office lady. I didnt get a chance to get her name. But she was wonderful!! I’ll definitely be back to this property the next time I’m in Maui

It was a nice, quiet place

The facility was great and within walking distance to where we needed to be. Very clean and had everything for an easy living vacation. All of the people were super nice and helpful.

The staff was very friendly upon arriving. The unit was clean and met all of my needs. The pool was nice and it has a hot tub which was also nice. I have stayed in many places on Maui and this definitely is one that I would come back to.

I recently had a fantastic experience during my stay at The Gardens at West Maui. The location is truly outstanding. Situated close to breathtaking beaches, excellent snorkeling spots, and with a nearby point for whale watching, it offers a perfect blend of convenience and natural beauty. The kitchen amenities were outstanding; every detail was thoughtfully considered, and it made our first night truly memorable. On the second night, we encountered a minor issue with the AC, but the 24-hour maintenance service responded promptly, fixing the problem within 10-15 minutes – truly impressive. The abundance of towels and toiletries exceeded our expectations, ensuring we had more than enough for our entire stay. The 1-bedroom suite with two bathrooms and a sofa bed comfortably accommodated four adults with no issues.The inclusion of a washer and dryer, along with provided detergent, added convenience to our stay. I would like to extend a special thanks to Lisa for her exceptional service during our stay. Her warmth, positivity, and constant smile made our experience truly delightful. Lisa also informed us that our room was ready for check-in upon early arrival, sparing us from waiting until the standard 4 pm check-in time. Overall, I highly recommend The Gardens at West Maui for its impeccable service, thoughtful amenities, and accommodating staff.

Amazing location perfect for our four day stay

The one bedroom suite was very comfortable for our family of 4. The kitchen had all the utensils needed and the 2 bathrooms was stocked well with enough and more towels for the 5 nights of stay. The best part was having the washer and dryer and that helped a lot to dry the clothes daily after the fun days at beach

Great location for the rate

Spacious, plenty of room for 4 people with the sofabed in the living room. Kitchen is fully stocked, with full-size fridge, oven, stove, microwave, toaster. Fantastic location - 1 block to one of the best beaches in Maui, Kapalua Bay. My only complaint was the "resort fee" of $20 plus tax per day that I did not realize I would be getting charged when I made this booking on Expedia.

Family friendly unit with two bathrooms

I checked in late but found it was not a problem at all since there were after hour services with my room key and welcome letter in the safe box. The unit has two bathrooms which are surprisingly convenient to the family. Only problem is neighbour roosters making noises during early morning.

Reception isn’t welcoming at all. Lots of spiders in the room, and we booked another hotel in the same management company and it’s full of ants. I don’t recommend soleil management company related hotels at all!

The dish washer did not work! Front desk clerk, not to friendly. The female i spoke when i checked in through the red phone, was very friendly and helpful.

Small property with beautiful gardens. We had a golf course view on the other side. Very clean and nice!

A very nice, affordable place to stay in Lahaina. We loved the lanai. The pool area was very pleasant and we had a lot of fun making leis.

Love the pool - beautiful blue tile, and has deep end. Fully stocked supplies kitchen. Lisa was great at check-in.

Nice place

Loved the full kitchen even though we didn't use it much. Only complaint is sleeping in the bed the air conditioning vent blowing right on you. Beds are a murphy bed and fold out couch. Loved all the amenities.

Great location to walk to popular beaches that are amazing snorkeling spots, places to eat, and hiking trails. Grocery store is very close, activities like zipline and golf are close by, and many places to eat. Then only negative was the mattress was not comfortable in the studio we had compared to the last visit to this location.
