Nice stay at the Gant

Enjoyed our stay at the Gant over a long weekend. Great location walkable to downtown, but also lots of shuttles to take you where you want to go (and back and forth to Rubey Park to catch busses to the other mountains). Concierge helped with reservations for large groups on multiple nights and having ski butler on site was great for those who rented. Cafe on site a bonus as well with espresso drinks and breakfast/lunch options. Nice heated pool and 2 hot tubs for end of day. Will likely come back and thumbs up on recommendation.

The hotel has no WiFi do not come if you have to work they claimed it was because of occupancy and offered no solution but to “go to the library”. When you are paying thousands for a stay this is unacceptable.

Stayed here with my partner after the new year holiday and fell in love with the place! Only downside you cannot use the fireplace. They should update to gas fireplaces.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The vans were readily available to take us where we needed to go. Hot tub was helpful.

We've stayed at the Gant several times. All of the rooms are well equipped, tastefully decorated and very comfortable. The beds and linens are very comfortable, too.

This is overall a nice property, in a quiet area but very close to everything. We booked premium apartment but I think the apartment was not as nice as the pictures. Also, the check out time is at 10 which is very inconvenient specially if you have kids. We did ask for late check out and even were willing to pay but they could not accommodate and that made everything very hard for us since our flight was later in the evening with two little kids. Most hotels and places around have later check out time at 11 or 12!

The facility is nicely maintained. The location is close to the heart of Aspen downtown.

I would definitely recommend this hotel! Customer service is excellent as well as the property itself. I had a 4 day stay and I couldn't think of a better place.

Amazing!! The staff are great. The room was spacious and clean! Close to all the shopping and dining and the hotel also has a free shuttle service! Already booking my next trip!

Immaculate place, friendly and attentive staff, and beautiful views

A really great place to stay (including with a baby). Huge clean rooms with great ground coffee & machine in room, nice heated pools and hot tubs, great quiet location, but really short walk to supermarket & the town. Perfect stay.

Family of five needing space and loving the area and walkability. Also the Giant shuttle to DT was great!

Our place was lovely. Very well furnished. The shuttle is a godsend. They were really prompt. My only negative comment is that the hot tubs were tepid. So, we had to forego that pleasure.

Our only regret is that we were only able to stay one night.

Great spot near the mountain. Quiet and very comfortable. Great 2 bedroom condo for a girls hiking trip. Staff were very helpful and friendly.

The Gant was beautiful in every way! We enjoyed our limited time at the Gant, would have liked to have spent more time there, but the area is so wonderful we wanted to explore every bit before returning home. You can't go wrong booking with The Gant!

The property provides free shuttle transportation with drivers who are friendly. Front desk workers were polite and help give insight to surrounding area. The washer and dryer come within the room which is a big bonus.

The apt was a little outdated, we were expecting something more modern. It was clean but the rugs needed to be changed. Loved that it had a washer and a dryer. Full kitchen was a plus. A/C did not work.

Room was very nice and clean. Staff were great.

The ac unit in the bedroom made noise all night. Room E203. No sleep our last nigh. The hot tub was not working. The location shuttle service was great. Elevator was very slow and small

We were welcomed, informed of the layout and able to go straight to room. Easy peasy!! Our room was more than perfect!

The property was lovely. I realize the time of year of my visit was absolutely ideal but it was just beautiful!

Property we stayed at looked tired.

Big condo, location and quiet, and transportation nice.

All the staff were helpful, polite, accommodating. We appreciated the unit upgrade. Convenience to downtown is great. I was not expecting daily maid service--very nice. The Gant has kept upgrading the units -- we didn't know what to expect since it had been 40 years since we had stayed there and we were pleased to be back.

Property is very clean and staff is kind, welcoming and informative Hotel shuttle is very helpful to get to the downtown We parked our car in the property and took the shuttle and public transportation to get to Maroon Bells. We will definitely come back here in the fall

Just great. The staff and the facilities were phenomenal. We loved the shuttle service too. For anyone new to the area it’s a free and amazing service to get around town.

Transportation is amazing. Great attitude from everyone.

The concierge service at check in was nonexistent I was delayed from flight for a wedding . No hairdryer in room heating did not work , gym was dirty and outdated the worst part was part of the package booked including breakfast and a cafe on premise which they claimed because of end of season

Our stay at the Gant was wonderful! The friendly staff, beautiful condo, central location a couple blocks from the gondola and excellent shuttle service all made our stay great. We will be back!

We loved this property. Friendly assistance at the desk and drivers. Shuttles take you to where you need to go and pick you up any anywhere in town. The restaurant was wonderful. Burgers were great and there was live music the night we ate there. Endless supply of logs for the fireplace. Walkable area, close to grocery store and more. The condo was clean and very well decorated, making us feel cozy and comfortable. We would love to stay here another time.

My son and I had a fantastic stay. The condo was beautiful. Conveniently located to everything - by van or by foot and had everything we needed from kitchen supplies to washer dryer and all beautifully cared for. Staff was so welcoming, attentive and knowledgeable. Skiing conditions were amazing and out stay at the Gant was perfect.

Our family was in Aspen for a ski vacation. We stayed in a 3 bedroom unit for a week. The unit was clean and comfortable for 6 adults but kitchen was small and had several broken items. Shuttle service to downtown/ski lift/bus terminal was outstanding. All staff encountered were helpful.

Too many issues...

"Stayed" at this hotel during a business trip. The bathroom flooded, there was no one available at the desk to help, and when I finally tracked someone down via security, they couldn't find my car at the valet. "Stayed" is in quotation marks because I left this hotel due to the above issues and, to top it all off, they refused to credit any of my remaining stay when I needed to find other accommodations. I am flabbergasted. The property appeared nice, but looks can be deceiving.

Amazing Aspen Escape

What an absolutely FANTASTIC property! The staff was very helpful and accommodating, they helped to make our stay exceptional. Pool and hot tub area was very well maintained, nice facilities. Extremely spacious condos, wood burning fireplace, fully stocked wood pile, huge tv in the large living room area, very comfortable and homey. Definitely coming back!

Our 2 bedroom condo was very spacious, very well laid out and beautifully decorated. Firewood and fire starters were provided and having a fire it made for a very enjoyable evening after walking downtown for dinner. Great location, free parking and wonderful reception staff who made us feel very welcome. We will definitely stay there again.

Everything was wonderful. Great place to stay in Aspen. Everything is walkable but if you don’t feel like walking, their complimentary shuttle service will take you anywhere in aspen and pick you up. Would definitely stay there again.

My family and I went on a Thanksgiving trip.

I recently stayed at this hotel and I must say that it was a wonderful experience. The staff was friendly and accommodating, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the location was perfect for my needs. I especially enjoyed the on-site amenities, such as the fitness center and pool. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great stay.

"Premier" unit not very "premier"

We've stayed at The Gant many times, sometimes booking direct and sometimes booking via Hotels.com. We love the location and in previous years the staff have always been friendly and helpful. We always choose a "premier" grade room as we love how the units are beautifully updated and decorated. Well, for this stay the "Premier" room was a much, much lower quality than any other we have stayed in. It didn't look like it was updated in almost 20 years, mis-matched, stained and worn out furniture. Had to hand wash all the dishes and cutlery as they had food stuck to them. Staff were dismissive when we tried to change rooms (they were full due to several weddings so could not move us until the last day of our stay). We were told to "next time book direct with us as we give priority to direct book guests and not to guests who book using other sites like Hotels.com." So basically we got a crappy unit and poor service because we booked using Hotels.com , even though we PAID for a PREMIER unit. Very unhappy with this stay and how were were treated by staff.

This was a beautiful condo within walking distance of most places. Great amenities. Staff was courteous.

The condo was clean and appointed with all the necessary items in the bath and kitchen and laundry. A great location for walking or skiing Aspen. Plenty of shuttle buses if you don't want to walk. I would recommend The Gant to anyone.

Enjoyed our stay

Everyone at The Gant was extremely nice and our room was okay. However around 4 am I could hear the people above us (or next to us) quite loudly to the point that I couldn’t sleep which was awful. That alone would keep me from returning and definitely keeps me from leaving a good review.

Glad we found you. We were kindly upgraded to a 1 BR suite. Lovely. Only area that quite didn’t measure up; a super small bathroom. Tiny! But everything else top notch. I will recommend to my pals.

Great location and friendly staff.

Staff at the front desk were great. Answering questions and offering assistance. Room was clean. Kitchen stoked with knives, plates, utensils etc. Bedrooms were freshened quickly in the morning. Location cannot be best. My one issue was with Pepperjacks. Went to try it for breakfast Sunday morning. There was a private wedding buffet/party that had taken out all the available tables. We were told by one staff member to sit “anywhere” and that someone would come take our order. We sit in the side room, then it begins to fill with the buffet crowd. Then they’re staring at us and irritated we are in “their” space. I’m actually not, I’m in the hotel that I paid for enjoying what the hotel has to offer. Gant needs to better take care of all their guests and shunt the wedding party to their own private room.

The Gant is an excellent place to stay

Staff at check-in were great. The unit was the nicest we've stayed in, anywhere, for several years. Clean, well maintained, up-to-date finishes. The Gant location is great. It's in town, but quiet/secluded close to the mountain. We cannot wait to go back!

As always, our stay at the Gant was perfect. Their pool options are top notch, you are super close to all of downtown Aspen. The concierge went above and beyond to help make our stay that much better.

The bathroom in the king bedroom is unsafe because the tub/shower is extremely difficult to get into and out of. It also has no grab bars anywhere. Sooner or later someone is going to be seriously hurt. Other than that, a very nice unit.

The property was clean and is located conveniently close to City Market and downtown Aspen.

We had a great stay for our anniversary.
