The Flint NI
Hotel was very nice, service was good at reception and fantastic location. Some room noise due to city centre location furniture quality was just adequate and it wasnt possible to bring alcohol from the bar to the room, due to alcohol licensing.
Very nice
Very clean, great location.
Lots of character
Business trip . Great location . Kitchen is very useful
Lovely studio central Belfast
We loved our room which was spacious with fantastic views and a whole wall of windows as well as ensuit bathroom & kitchen with everything we'd need to cook a meal from scratch. Bad was big and comfortable. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly.
Superb
It is an amazing room with so much room! The kitchen is amazing & a big bonus to have!
Loving Belfast.
Great room on 6th floor. Good to have a small kitchen. USB points in room would have been useful. Location was superb for all city centre attractions. If planning to eat at Amelia Hall you better book, not mentioned to us on check in and we were turned away.
Definitely going back to stay!
Hotel is gorgeous! Will stay here again
Quirky, quiet but...few lights
Repeat customer here. Lovely refit with everything brand spanking new and clean. surprisingly quiet for the main road location. Will stay again Lighting was odd. Needs more thought cos there are pockets of darkness at night. There were lights only in the kitchen and around the bed + entrance. The desk was effectively unlit for working at. the sitting area depended on glow from the kitchen. Also a blanket would have been nice on the comfy settee. Keira at reception was professional and very welcoming
Great place to stay. Good location and reception was very helpful. I didn’t use the kitchenette but it was a lovely addition to have
Nice stay
Nice stay, really close to City Hall and the city centre.
Parking is a 3 minute walk away and I mentioned to the staff that the cleaning could be better. It was quite dusty. Otherwise, I thought the property was fantastic. Would definitely stay again.
Great spot, helpful staff, nice breakfast in morning
Enjoyed our stay staff could not do enough so friendly
This is essentially an apart hotel. The heating doesn’t work well and it feels like a 3 rather than 4 star.
Nice hotel but ....
The hotel itself was nicely arranged. The issue I had was the air conditioning / Heating was broken and it was quite cold. No carpets on the floor and no heating made it difficult. No alternative was offered which wasnt great
Super comfortable beds, great shower. The neighborhood was walkable and transit from train and bus stations was convenient.
Pro Large room, comfortable bed, quiet on top floor Con Need more hooks for coats, need socket for hairdryer in bathroom, mirror in bedroom area is near to socket but too dark
Room was very spacious and clean. Nice touch with the milk. Great location for shops and restaurants. Would definitely stay again.
Would defo stay here again and recommend
Clean ,tidy bigger than what I thought has everything you need and shower brilliant
Great hotel.
Great stuff, lovely Hotel
Great staff, lovely Hotel
Great stay
Had a fantastic stay but only downside was our room was above bar area and we were woken up with kegs and gas bottles being delivered early in the morning so would book another room next time but loved the location, bar downstairs and the staff were lovely so hasn’t put me off.
Excellent place to stay.
I found this hotel to be very good. Facilities in the room are brilliant. Tea coffee milk were all in the room, which is so handy for a cuppa. Staff are so good and helpful. Location is fantastic. Everything is so central and only a short walk to wherever you want to go
If was brilliant, ideal location, spacious rooms
Na
Wonderful hotel in the heart of Belfast City.
We had a wonderful overnight stay at The Flint in Belfast. We were doing some Christmas Shopping and visiting the Christmas Market. We picked this hotel because it is so close to the city centre and was good value but despite the proximity to the city centre it was quiet in the room. The room had a small kitchen and a super comfy bed. Will definitely stay again.
An affordable cost with unexpected but pleasant kitchen area that provides guests the option to prepare food.
Perfect Trip
Great experience. Friendly check in. Central location. Amazing ground floor bar and restaurant called Amelia Hall 10 outta 10
Wonderful place to stay. Close to everything necessary to se and do. Staff was great. Room was wonderful. Very Nice place to enjoy the city and surroundings. All the tours leave from around the corner which is very convenient .
This is the second time we have stayed we love the location and the rooms are gorgeous
Excellent
Excellent stay! Very impressed with the kitchen!!!!
One night not enough
Incredible experience from arrival to departure. Not having really researched the property beforehand, the room (apartment would be more accurate) was way more than we expected, the kitchenette and dining area being a big bonus on top of the spacious room and very comfy bed. Staff were helpful and welcoming throughout and contributed to a very enjoyable stay. Only gripe was that parking was a little tricky, mostly due to it being a busy Christmas weekend. The validated parking was much appreciated however.
Really enjoyed stay. Staff in particular were excellent. Love everything about this hotel except the dim lighting in the rooms. Love the position. Kitchenette very useful
Great value - top class
Great location and really good room. Faultless
Perfect Stay!
Very friendly and helpful staff! The room with kitchenet was comfortable and convenient for a longer stay. Great location near transportation and easy touring Belfast.
I really enjoyed my stay at the Flint it was a spacious well appointed room, the kitchenette had everything I needed. The floors had a lot of character, there was a free laundry mat that was accessible at all times. The staff were super helpful and friendly.
Hotel Stay
The Hotel Room was spacious, amazing and the beds are so comfortable. The shower is powerful and the apartment/hotel room comes with a mini dining table and a kitchen. The staff were friendly and amazing.
It was a perfect hotel at a perfect place
The Flint was awesome. It’s two blocks from the main train station which was perfect for us travelling via transit. The room had a nice layout, and a fulsome kitchenette was a nice touch! Amazing water pressure in the shower. The funny signs and explanations of things added another human and fun element to it too. Right downtown, walkable to so many great things. Would highly recommend Flint to all ages and demographics.
Kitchenette was great to have, excellent location and extremely generous and helpful staff!
The entry is in a lane way not with no signage from the road - once found check in was easy - 24 hr front desk but also has electronic kiosk for you to self check in (including preparing your own door card). Room was clean tidy and spacious. Great view of Church next door. Walkable to shops and restaurants- also only 5 min walk from the bus/train terminal. Was great stay
The staff were so helpful and everything was within walking distance l would definitely stay again and recommend this hotel
Wonderful stay at The Flint! The team was excellent about communication, and so welcoming. Room was just what we needed and loved that there was a washer and dryer in the building!
Lovely low fuss, high trend hotel
Staff was very kind and lovely. This was a hotel that was low fuss in a centrally located area with a awesome bar/restaurant adjacent to it on the ground floor. Note - this is not a quiet hotel. It's is on a main street with a lot of traffic and there is a active coffee shop/bar/restaurant on the ground floor that is open pretty late. I knew that going in and did not mind the city noises at all. It is literally a block from city center and everything I wanted to do was walkable. Only things to note: there was a weird stain on the couch in my room - but I covered it with my suitcase and problem was solved. Also, the television service was very choppy. Not sure if the hotel had any control over this but it was a little annoying to not be able to watch tv because it kept cutting in and out. It was such a small thing that I never bothered to really say anything and didn't change how I felt about the hotel. Will use them again for sure!
Really enjoyed our night at the Flint everything perfect. Ideal central location.
The room was perfectly appointed for my needs over 4 nights The staff on reception were exceptional
Convenient and good area
Spent four nights , it was as a little noisy out in the hallway at night
This was the best hotel of our trip so far. The facilities were excellent, and the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. (And they had lovely Irish accents!) The Flint is highly recommended. The only tiny complaint we had is that the sheets on the bed were barely large enough for a queen-sized bed.
First off, the staff were phenomenal. Welcoming, helpful, and so knowledgeable about things to do in Belfast. Location is great for walking around the city. The hotel fills a valuable niche of having some rare practical amenities (kitchen, laundry) without the price tag of a luxury stay. My only cautions are that you hear a lot of noise from the street until the pubs close, and if you need your hotel rooms to be impeccably clean and maintained, it’s probably not for you.
Huge rooms with ample space. Location great with walkable attractions and accessible areas
Great stay conveniently located!
This is a very cute boutique hotel conveniently located. Initially we thought it’d be a small room since it was tucked away in a small building, but we’re so pleased with the largest room during our entire trip to Europe! We had a full kitchen, large bathroom, and plenty of room to unwind and have our belongings. Had everything we needed and front desk was welcoming and helpful.
The Flint - great value for money!
The Flint is ideally located in central Belfast with easy access to all manners of food, visitor attractions and other amenities. The room was spacious, staff was friendly and helpful and the in-house laundry facilities is a blessing for travellers who need to refresh their apparel. We enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this property.
Excellent
Great hotel, well located a couple of blocks from the city hall. The room was comfortable, quiet and clean. Staff at the front desk was very professional and courteous and answered all my questions and attended to my requests. The kitchenette was a plus. There's a Tesco express around the corner and a M&S 10 minute walk away where one can buy some food. Housekeeping cleans the room if one hangs out the sign on the door. I'm very pleased with the service and comfort provided, and I enjoyed my stay very much!
This hotel is amazing! For the price, location, and comfort, nothing compares. We will recommend to friends/family and stay here again if we are back in Belfast
Room was great. Larger than expected. Shower was excellent. Perfect location, we walked to everything. Staff were amazing. Would stay here again for sure.
Excellent stay in a great location.
Emergency unplanned stay due to flight cancellation. Small technical issue at check-in, but the staff acted professionally and pragmatically, so we, the customer, were not affected.
Right in the center of Belfast, this was quiet. Everything is very convenient to get to from here.
Nice place
The staff was polite and helpful.
Comfortable stay in the heart of Belfast
We had a very comfortable stay in the heart of Belfast - the suite was very spacious with a fully equipped kitchenette and access to a free launderette which was most welcome after 5 days of travelling. The staff at reception were most welcoming and helpful to us: Simon (afternoon/evening shift and a young lady in the morning) and this made our stay all the more enjoyable. We parked our car in a carpark an easy 7 minute walk away and had the ticket validated by the hotel, and for 2 nights it cost 24 pounds. The main reason I chose the Flint was its proximity to catching tours. I highly recommend this hotel.
Excellent location and staff
Comfortable room with kitchenette. Very clean. Staff exceptionally friendly and helpful. Location very convenient to restaurants and shopping.
The Flint was great! Loved the gorgeous restaurant downstairs. The bed was comfortable and even though it is above a bar/restaurant it was very quiet, even on a loud weekend night. Great location near an easy garage for parking and walkable to all of the city center.
Very Cool Place...
Super helpful staff. The room was clean, rustic and charming. Comfortable bed and lots of room, including a well stocked kitchenette. Centrally located for shopping and dining. We'll definitely revisit during our next trip to Belfast. Nothing but positive things to say about the Flint!
Lovely location. Just be aware that at the weekends the bar underneath is a bit noisy, so if a light sleeper ask for a room at the back or higher up. We moved room because of it but the staff were lovely and couldn’t be more helpful.
Great stay. Staff excellent. Good location fair price.
Fabulous Aparthotel…rooms spacious, clean and well equipped. Comfortable bed, great shower. Staff friendly and helpful. Good location for a tourist in Belfast and great option instead of a hotel room. Highly recommend and would definitely return!!
Staff were great, responsive. Room clean, huge bathroom. Somewhat dark. Great location - close to restaurants and shopping etc. Nice restaurant below the hotel. Was noisy Friday night but ok otherwise. Wifi a bit slow.
The staff were amazingly helpful and all around pleasant. There were shared washers and dryers, which was a big plus. The location was central. The room was clean, had a kitchen area as well as a couch. Not fancy, but comfy and nice. The adjacent restaurant had great food and service. Always had a crowd, mostly a younger crowd, and was loud, but still enjoyable. Definitely recommend!
Excellent location in the centre of town, excellent service with all staff being lovely. They held my bag before and after checkin. Room was excellent with it's own little kitchen.
Location and staff were wonderful. The restaurant attached to the hotel was great. Rooms were comfortable. It was a bit nosier (room doors as well as street traffic) than I like but it wouldn’t prevent me from staying here again.
Check in process was difficult and time consuming. Guests shouldn’t have to queue to fiddle around trying to manually enter masses of details into a screen and struggle to take photos of their own passport. It is the last thing you want after a long journey. It is also lacking in the personal reception service you expect in a four star hotel.
Clean, spacious walking to everywhere most comfy bed of the trip
Great location!
Good option instead of a hotel
Location excellent for central Belfast and heading out. Restaurant next door was nice too.
Really nice people at this hotel. Super accommodating and friendly.
The rooms at the most conveniently located Flint are more than terrific. Extremely spacious with full kitchen. The hotel provides complimentary self serve laundry facilites which is very nice touch. The hotel is located very close to all that Belfast has to offer & there are no shortage of restaurants & pubs within easy walking distance.
Everything was great with 2 exceptions. First, it’s difficult to find with no signage on the street. There’s a small “alley” off the Main Street right next to the restaurant with a small sign down that alley. The staff was all SUPER helpful and nice and the room was nice. Sadly the restaurant wasn’t open yet after a remodel, but the staff helped us find some great options!
A modern hotel in the heart of the city with clean, comfortable, well equipped rooms. Online check in is available which made the process quick and efficient on arrival. Reception staff were polite and helpful. The only negative issue with the room was that we found that the lighting was a bit too dim which made the room quite dark when the curtains were drawn.
Finding a place to park before we initially stopped to check in was the only issue. But once we did, everything was lovely. Nice staff and lovely place!
We loved this hotel and would have gladly given it a 5 star review if not for the street noise, and music which likely came from the restaurant below. Not sure if they have rooms that don't overlook the street but I would request it. Thankfully there's AC which means windows can stay closed. The staff are absolutely great. The room was very spacious and had a full kitchenette which was awesome. No carpet, just as I like it. The space is functional and comfortable.
Property condition was clean but showing some wear on furnishings . Laundry services was available and free. Located on the 6 th floor.
Awesome
Loved this little boutique aparthotel. A few minutes walk from City Hall, Bus station & centre of town. Rooms are large with sofa, table & kitchenette. Quirky old converted building. Basic in terms of service (24 hr concierge) but you have all that on your doorstep. Would stay there again as it was a no fuss place to stay.
Flint hotel review
Check in was a bit haphazard but ok in the end. - stupid PC based self check in process needs to be updated.
Great very clean comfortable and staff very friendly
Good but could be better.
Love the hotel, location, design etc. The not so good, really difficult to find, hotel needs to issue better directions. The check in process is overly complicated, self service but everyone needs the receptionist help. No curtain over the window in the kitchen area, so the room floods with light in the early morning.
Great hotel
Love this hotel with its little kitchenette attached. Ideally located. Within walking distance to everything.
Good location
Amazing!!!!!!
Staff all very friendly and helpful. Our self contained suite was fully equipped and all equipment of a high standard.
Great stay at Belfast city centre
New rooms with fully stocked kitchen. Bed was very comfortable and really like the room layout. Staff was very friendly and happy to help or recommend a place to eat. The facade of the building is beautiful and old but the inside is all new.
Great 1-night stay in Belfast center
Excellent quiet hotel in the heart of Belfast. Kiera was extra kind and patient and went above and beyond to assist with local recommendations, travel, and check-in. There was construction during the time, so no bar or restaurant or lounge, but I understand this has to happen for renovations every few years anyway. It's fundamentally an old building, but you can tell the inside is very modern and clean and quiet.
All good with our stay. Kitchen was fully equipped and very useful.
Weekend exploring Belfast
I’d like my partner and I you don’t like breakfast or set meal times this is the place to stay. The kitchen in our room was really well equipped .. fridge, microwave and dishwasher .. great for a quick breakfast and out. The hotel are renovating the buildings next door into a bar and pizzeria .. this will be great to have a drink prior to heading out or back to the room. Just hope, this doesn’t create a mass of noise. Our stay was lovely and quiet .. room was really impressive large and really clean. It’s also right in the middle of the city so everything is within walking distance- even the Titantic experience which is about a 30minute casual walk, but you also get to see the majority of the city .. easy access to the crown, and many other pubs .. with city hall 5 minutes out the hotel turn right and keep going ..
The hotel is really great. The main lobby is open as a kitchen until late in the evening which is super handy if you need a midnight snack. The staff was very responsive and helpful. The room was tight which is I guess is typical but not what I’m used to in North America. I love the proximity of the hotel to the train and the main attractions in the city.
The Flint | Hotel in Belfast | Travala.com
Great hotel, great staff, great location. Only let down is the parking. Value parkings definition of 24hrs is "after midnight". So I you park at 11pm and pick your car up at 8am the next day.... boom....£17 with hotel discount. If The Flint negotiated a better deal for drivers using the car park, this hotel would beat all others. It's an amazing place to stay and feels like a home from home.
