Beautiful property, top floor unit a must. Views great. Bed needs update. Nearby restaurant Sandbar very average for prices, do not partake Yamba’s best accom area imo

Great Place to Stay in Yamba

Rooms were perfectly clean and well equipped. View was great and beach so close that it was a great stay

Wondeful apartments

We had a wonderful stay in a lovely one bed garden apartment. Well equipped and clean, with a comfy bed, plentiful hot water and a good shower. The grounds and pool are spotless. The property manager is the best we've experienced in our mulitple visits to Australia. We were greeted, out of hours, with a welcoming smile, nothing was too much trouble. The couple of minor issues we had in the apartment were quickly dealt with. Location is good, steps from a patrolled beach that is perfect for families. We'll definitely be recommending The Cove to family and friends in QLD and would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Wonderful Yamba Stay

We have wanted to stay in Yamba for years so this was fantastic. The Cove Yamba is in a fabulous location right near Main Beach and easy walking into town. The garden setting is lovely and loved the swimming pool which we used as it was quite windy during our visit. Good to have essentials like washing powder, shampoo, conditioner, tea bags / coffee and milk. We walked, & drove, all around town discovering Yamba. We had a delicious seafood dinner at the Bowling Club one night and another tasty dinner at the Pacific Hotel near Main Beach. They are carrying out exterior renovations there at the moment. Sunday afternoon had a singer outdoors which was great. Another day we drove to Angourie which has a lovely surfing beach and also swam at Spooky Beach. We also visited the local small Movie Theatre which was great value. A wonderful trip all in all!

Easy to find close to beach, beautiful restaurant next door food and service was excellent. Close to town, bowling club and golf club. Pool area very clean.

Great location. Can walk to the beach & Cove. Pacific Hotel 5 minute walk for a great meal with a view. Room was in good condition with two balconies. Enjoyed our stay

Perfect

This is more of a holiday style property for people with children. It was not great for an overnight stop. No room service, no cleaning each day. The room was small and difficult to move around in.

Overpriced

We were expecting a great stay but were very disappointed by the room which was a ‘Motel Room Garden View’. This room type is overpriced as it is cheaply fitted out, small and the floor wasn’t clean.

The beaches around there just go on forever

Had troubles with the lift and couldn't use the parking.

Ticked all the boxes for our Holiday in Yamba

Not soundproofed. Staff are friendly and ready to help. Receptionist helpful and willing to answer any questions or help with issues. Kitchen gadgets including toaster, kettle, coffee machine, glasses, etc available. Washing machine, dryer, iron and ironing board available. Walking distance to hotel and surf lifesaving club. Enjoyed my stay.

Good property for proximity to the beach. Quiet safe area. Excellent cafe next door for all day dining.

Great location and atmosphere. Pool closing times too early. Couldn’t use the heated spa after 5.30pm. Maybe some information in the room regarding things to do see and eat around the area might be nice. Overall a great place to stay

Floors were very dirty unmopped and not washed. Kitchen not what was advertised and the room very small. Pretty tired building needing a revamp. Probably wouldn’t stay here again but Sarah at the reception was nice and friendly

Spacious comfortable apartment in great location

We were 100% happy with our choice of The Cove for a three day getaway. Reception staff were friendly and helpful and the apartment roomy, comfortable and well equipped. Free use of tennis courts at an associated resort was an unexpected bonus.

Great location!

We couldn't fault the property. We had a very clean comfortable family apartment overlooking the attractive garden and very well maintained small pool. Secure onsite underground parking was great, with easy access by lift or stairs to all apartments. Renee on reception was very pleasant and helpful. Property has a stunning coastal outlook, only a 2 minute walk down to the beach. The town is just a 10 minute walk down the hill, with a number of excellent cafes, restaurants, and a great selection of very nice independent shops.

Location to beach. How dark the room was

A perfect apartment for a quiet, relaxing long weekend. The view was wonderful, the apartment was clean and tidy with everything you could need for a short stay. I never heard any other guests even though I imagine the place was full. The pool was a little chilly for me and the hot tub could have been a little warmer too, but this was pretty minor. I would definitely recommend and stay again. I particularly appreciated the SMS to tell me my room was ready at 9am on the day of checkin.

Fantastic location, facilities and friendly staff. Cleanliness could be improved. 7 days is a bit long between housekeeping visits. No broom or vacuum to do it ourselves either. Otherwise, we had a wonderful time.

The property is of ideal design and upkeep and the managers are excellent and extremely helpful.

Old & tired room

Overpriced for a old tired building. The bed sagged in the middle one pillow was as hard as rock the other we had to fold in half . You have to take out your rubbish and wash your dishes which is unsatisfactory for the high room rate.

Loved our stay. Had two nights over looking the beach. Close to the shops pub and cafe. Will be staying there again soon. Very clean. Enjoyed the whole weekend.

Easy to access everything.

Comfortable with a nice Verandah. Good to have some basic kitchen items and a table to eat at. There were no tissues, no bottled water and no biscuits, all of which are expected at this price. The floor made my feet dirty and the curtains let in all the light from the garden.

Clean and tidy but the lifts didn’t work twice while we were there. Double doors to our room which was attached to the owner was kind of odd

We had a great 3 nights here. Apartment was very spacious and had everything we needed. Views were lovely overlooking the ocean too. Would definitely stay here again.

Love that it's right on the beach and within walking distance to everything

Had to ask for clean towels next day, also take out own rubbish and the spa pump was broken. Staff were great!

No bath towels were supplied - other than two beach towels. Coffee machine was good!

This property is a great place to stay, so close to the main beach and views down towards Convent beach, depending on room location. The room we stayed in was well located with a good size balcony for relaxing. The room itself was a little tired in appearance, but overall, a pleasant stay. L.C Sydney

Unfortunately the property was old and dated. Very uncomfortable bed, lounge, pillows. All decor very old and dated. Not worth the high price we paid.

A very nice place to stay inYamba. Our room had wonderful sea views. The location is great for a easy walk to the Main Street of the Town. The private parking is secure and easy to access. The managers and staff were friendly and helpful. The room is well appointed with an extremely comfortable bed and nice bedding. The room was clean and the furniture contemporary and good quality.

We were very happy with both the accommodation and the wonderful views.

The Cove was lovely, the room loveky too.the only thing that i can suggest to improve 26b would be comfy armchairs and a sink in the kitchenette

Great locale overlooking Yamba beach.

Great apartment in great spot overlooking beach. Managers of said apartment were less than courteous. We were booked for 2 nights& they failed to advise us that the only full day we had there was going to be without power for the whole day which they were fully aware of & weren’t prepared to even try & compensate us for our short trip! We’re very rude & unapologetic!

Close to the beaches & eateries

Lovely, large apartment with a beautiful view of main beach and roomy verandah. Comfortable bed and great kitchen.

Great location, close to main beach!

Room was poky and dark. No space for our cases. No exhaust fan in bathroom and a leaking shower door meant that our towels and floor mat remained damp the whole time. No spare towels supplied. Tiny unworkable kitchenette. A cramped and unpleasant room at an high price. Would not recommend.

Location couldn't be better. The property itself is fine. It was tidy and clean. Apart from the room and the carpark facility we didn't really use much else, as there was so much to do outside the property.

It is an amazing location with spectacular views, close to the heart of town and with great amenities. The property management are wonderful with clear communication.

The Garden View Studio booked on line did not look like what came up on the booking site. A pokey little room, no chair in the room and tiny very public balcony. Totally unsuitable for our stay. Fortunately a one bedroom apartment was available for an additional $235 for the two nights and it was very comfortable and well appointed.

Good location but misrepresented room.

The room was misrepresented by Hotels as having a kitchen. As a result , we had to eat out each night. The room was small and overpriced for what it was. Everything else was ok. Good pool and spa, great location.

Our room was very clean and fresh beautiful view from the big sliding doors that lead to a good size patio with table and chairs. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Staff was very obliging and friendly, this our second time staying at the cove I can totally recommend you will not be disappointed.

The owners of the unit we stayed in have taken care to help people who stay there have as much information about the area as possible. The have compiled a lovely where to eat and what to do folder. The view of the ocean and break walls is magnificent. We highly recommend The Cove apartments when visiting Yamba !

Great location, comfortable and well equipped apartement

The room was great, very clean, terrific view, spacious. The only downside was parking with an larger car the parking spaces were terrible. Had to relocate from original as couldn’t fit.

Bed Issue

My only gripe is that my bed was not made up on the last day of my stay Very disappointing
