Absolutely a gem of a place. The staff were extremely polite and made you very welcome. An ultra friendly pub. The food was excellent and great value. Would I stay there again most definitely.
Lovely stay
Lovely pub and great rooms, nicely refurbished but still old tradition looking. Nice bar, ate at the pub and food was lovely as was the service. Up early to head to Cheltenham but they did me a lovely breakfast nap to take away as I did not have time for the sit down breakfast z
Nice little inn
Efficient check in, friendly staff. Good room with modern bathroom and comfortable bed. Quiet location, lots of character. Evening meal and breakfast both good.
Beautiful hotel and staff.
The staff were fantastic, helpful caring. Happy smiling staff. The hotel was beautiful. The room was beautiful. The bed was so comfy. Lovely breakfast we really did enjoy every aspect of our stay. Definately would recommend.
Everything was perfect ..
Excellent service. Comfortable bed and warm room.
Great visit again it was a shame about the kitchen but couldn’t be helped staff and owners and managers were very nice and helpful food was great when the kitchen was opened after refitting will return 😊
Unfortunately the kitchen was closed when I stayed, but I think it would have been good
Very easy going and relaxed
It is a good place, a bit isolated so you need to have a car. The floor boards creak so if you are downstairs you may hear the upstairs neighbours.
We have stayed at the Boot many times pre-pandemic and everything was always excellent. However, on this occasion we were not told until after we booked that they were not doing lunch or evening meals…and we only got told at that point due to emailing to book a table! There were also renovations taking place which we were not told about in advance. We like the Boot and it normally makes a very convenient and lovely stop over on our way up North but it was very disappointing after a long drive to have to drive somewhere else for food and the lack of cooking facilities meant the breakfast was not to the same standard as we have experienced on all of our previous stays. Hopefully things will return to normal soon but it would have been helpful to have a heads up in advance of booking.
Arrived around 8pm after a day walking round Worcester on the Penguin trail and was shown straight to our room which was spotlessly clean. Having eaten earlier in the city we didn't try the evening menu but the breakfast the following morning was good ,all in all we would definitely rebook there the next time we're in that part of the country.
Overall an okay stay. Staff very friendly and helpful even over being incorrectly charged at checkout. Rating could easily be bettered by improvements to presentation of breakfast. A breakfast menu would be useful. Toast served already buttered and piled up on a dinner plate is poor. A toast rack and butter portions would be much better. The coffee from the machine is not great. Freshly brewed filter coffee would be better. Breakfast in conservatory was more pleasant but not enhanced by view over unkempt outdoor area. Room okay apart from not being able to use wash hand basin without cracking head off glass shelf.
Breakfast severely gone downhill since previous visits. Used to be a strength and now a weakness. Sausage appeared to be reheated several times and everything was cold. Didn’t realise there was cereal until we saw a random table with juice and boxes of rice crispies on. Staff were too busy chatting to show us! Coffee was horrible. Nice little pots of jam left at the end of our table which, again, I had no idea were there! Bedroom was a lovely size and a nice shower room. Lovely pub area. A few cobwebs about but this did not bother me in such an old building. Such a shame though about the awful breakfast experience.
Really nice room (5). Staff very amicable and efficient. Good value for money.
Clean, comfortable and very friendly staff. Evening meal was good and breakfast ok and overall it was good value for the money
Staff were friendly and helpful and our room was clean and well appointed with tea and coffee facilities, bottled water etc. We ate dinner at the Inn where there was good choice of menu.
A great stay
A lovely pub, with very friendly staff. The room was a decent size and very comfortable. Great choice of meals and the breakfast was one of the tastiest I have had in a long time. Definitely recommended.
1 night stay
Stayed in room 5 absolutely loved the character of the room . The en-suite bathroom was fine albeit very cramped in the shower cubicle Breakfast was very strange - think we stayed when all the staff were off - other guests did comment on how good it had been the day before but we were a bit disappointed with cold offerings & very slow service however we would stay again if in the atea
Interesting mix!
Room was clean, comfortable and quiet. Parking fine. Friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was a tad Fawlty Towers - coffee took 35mins, full English (but chef forgot the egg), soft boiled egg (but arrived hard minus an egg cup), butter arrived late, no toast offered. No menu so you had to ad lib. But tasty when it finally arrived after 30mins! However lunch was the complete opposite, fast service, generous portions and very well cooked/presented 10/10. Hence the use of the term 'mix'. But we would stay again no problem, but we would write down exactly what we want for breakfast in what order (to paraphrase Eric Morecombe - they have 'all the right notes but not necessarily in the right order' at breakfast.
Not welcoming on arrival, shown to our room and then promptly disappeared before we cou;d ask any questions about meals etc. Dinner was good Came down for breakfast, door to bar/restaurant was locked so had to go out of fire exit into car park. Nobody around in restaurant, no menus. Ordered full English breakfast, no mushrooms or tomato arrived although the next table had them. Overall a non-enjoyable and unwelcoming experience.
Great room and good service.
Great stay. Went above and beyond!
What’s not to like
Great value. Lovely hotel. Great menu. Super quiet location. Free breakfast. Fast broadband. Attentive staff. What’s not to like 😀
One night stay
Nice comfortable room and the meal and breakfast were delicious.
Best sleep
The room was very clean & spacious. The bed was to die for , best sleep for a long time.
Very pleasant and the food exceptional.
We spent a lovely night here. The food was delicious in the evening and the breakfast was fab. Highly recommend.
Awesome staff, went the extra mile to make us happy. Great atmosphere, fantastic food, lovely large room to sleep in. Just a real friendly place thanx to everyone there.
The staff absolutely Brilliant Such a warm welcome The food was amazing especially the English breakfast was the best we have ever had bar none The Boot is value for money 👏👏👏
The Boot Inn was a lovely experience. The room was comfy and had so much character. The morning breakfast was excellent and the hosts were amazing.
The room was satisfactory and comfortable but the en-suite shower room required refitting to bring it up to a good modern standard. The shower cubicle was very (too) small and it was impossible to wash properly without opening the door to allow more space to manouevre. The electrically pumped Mira shower unit provided an inadequate amount of water pressure and the water temperature constantly fluctuated between cool and scorching hot, without touching the dial, which was dangerous. The staff were pleasant and polite and the full English breakfast was generous and well cooked. It is unfortunate that the experience of our stay was marred by an unsatisfactory shower room.
Can’t fault it
Lovely Country Pub for B&B
I have just had a wonderful overnight stay at The Boot Inn. The bedroom was spacious, clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly and provided a great service. The breakfact was fabulous, including a good to choice of cooked breakfast (I had the full English - which was a proper breakfast with good quality bacon and sausage, black pudding, mushrooms, tomatoes and fried bread), tinned grapefruit, toast and preserves, orange juice, yoghurts.
Really nice warm room, food was excellent
Wonderful
Traditional inn. Lovely cozy fire. Nice comfortable bedrooms. Wonderful staff great service, fantastic food immaculately clean, delicious breakfast. How can I fault it. We loved it

Lovely room beautiful food really nice place made to feel very welcome
What more could you want?
The Boot Inn was excellent value for money and puts many other places costing twice as much, to shame. The cooked breakfast was brilliant and the location quiet. What more could you want.
Great stay
Staff and food were excellent.
An absolute gem!
A really characterful and unique room in a lovely Inn. The food was great, the staff extremely helpful and friendly and it made a for a really enjoyable weekend away. Everything was extremely clean and well maintained and the pub, restaurant, room and gardens all exceeded expectations and we had a really good time and would go back in a heartbeat.

Had a lovely peaceful night stay here. A comfy bed, friendly staff excellent dinner. We will definitely stop by again if we are passing through. 5*****
good overnight stay
good choice for a short pub stay .we were going to worcester races.Food very good
Checked in and shown to the room. Nice comfy bed and very pleasant room with all facilities you would need. Booked a table for evening meal in the restaurant. Both steak meals were cooked to perfection. Service was first class as was the real ales. Booked Breakfast for 8:45 great options available but we opted for the Full English Breakfast. Couldn’t fault it in anyway. All produce used were lovely. Would highly recommend
Not vegetarian friendly!
The positives are it's very clean, staff are very friendly & efficient & beds super comfy. The only negative for me was the breakfast. I am a vegetarian & there were no vegetarian options apart from some horrible leak & potato sausages from the local supermarket. Also the poached eggs even though I asked for them to be runny they couldn't have been harder. That was day one, day two I tried fried eggs with mushrooms and beans as that was really the only choice left to me. The eggs were hard & the five tiny mushrooms were an insult in comparison to my husbands breakfast of bacon , sausage, black pudding etc etc.
Quality without pretentiousness the Boot Inn was a marvellous find. Value for money, great customer service and attention to detail. We will certainly be going back again in future!
Charming Inn
A charming Inn with lots of interesting features. Our room was very quirky with lots of space and a very comfortable bed. The food was very good and plenty of it. The staff went out of their way to be helpful and friendly. Situated in an area easily accessible to plenty of interesting tourist spots. We were very happy with our stayand would go again.

Brilliant
We arrived on a cold rainy evening to a friendly welcome and a warm and cozy room . Had drinks in a bar and a chat with other guests . Lovely large breakfast in the morning.Stayed for two nights and would definitely recommend
This hotel was really nice. Staff were friendly and considerate. Food was absolutely superb, I have eaten in many hotels and restaurants but this is way above most. Please keep up the great grub as I will be back again.
Lovely little country pub and both dinner and breakfast was amazing - had a great stay
A very comfortable b/b with good food & service. We will stay again when in Worcestershire.
Glad we found this superb gem! Old wattle and daub charming building. The real start of Christmas for us. But we’ll have to come back one day to sample more if the menu. Thanks Boot.
Fantastic place!
This is the third time we have stayed here. What’s not to like? The place is so lovely, setting ideal, room and bed very comfy. Staff really friendly and food great. Only small issue is with check out time. We feel it’s a little early for a weekend morning at 10am. Maybe an hour later check in time and hour later check out time would be perfect. It’s just that we are always so relaxed we never want to leave! :)
Perfect 👌
Beautiful room with the comfiest beds! Friendly, helpful staff. Everything thought of for a lovely overnight stay. Beautiful setting too.
An absolutely charming hotel, which I would happily stay in again. Highly recommended. Everything was just perfect.

Great little inn in a lovely location. All the staff were lovely, the food excellent and the bed was about the most comfortable we have had the pleasure to sleep on
We had a very hospitable overnight stay at The Boot. Our room was very comfortable with an en-suite that provided 5 star hotel toiletries. Dinner and breakfast were very tasty and accommodated my many dietary restrictions. The owners, staff and local pub goers were very friendly making an extremely pleasant stay. Thank you we would definitely recommend it.

An enjoyable break
The Boot Inn is located in a peaceful, pleasant spot between Worcester and Stratford-upon-Avon. We enjoyed an excellent meal in the restaurant upon arrival. The room was clean, tastefully furnished, and a good size. It was thoroughly serviced during our stay. The staff were friendly and helpful, and breakfast in the bar really set us up for the day.
