Great place to stay on Amelia Island

We had an excellent stay at The Addison. The room was clean and charming. The place was meticulously maintained. Ron and Lisa were excellent hosts. They helped with restaurant suggestions as well as places to visit. Bicycles were provided for free and made for a great way to get around and see Fernandina. The happy hour made for a nice way to meet other guests. I absolutely would recommend The Addison as a great place to stay on Amelia Island. Absolutely worth it!

This B&B is first class in every aspect. The owners are friendly and provide excellent service. The location is perfect both near outstanding restaurants and within walking distance to all the downtown shops. Our 3 night stay couldn’t have been better!

Lovely one night stay to celebrate our anniversary. Nightly happy hour and the excellent breakfast made for a perfect stay.

Beautiful property. Lisa and Ron are very welcoming hosts. They serve a delicious and healthy breakfast. Our room was very nice, clean and comfortable. The property is within walking distance to great restaurants, the marina and entertainment. We couldn't ask for more.

Breakfast was delicious and options to eat inside or outside. Comfortable front porch swing to enjoy in the afternoon with a glass of wine. Responsive and enjoyable hosts.

We had a wonderful stay at the Addison and highly recommend. The owners Ron and Lisa were great and it was very enjoyable talking with them. The area around the Addison is magically and takes you back in time.

Wonder hosts! Great breakfast

It was OK, albeit a little puzzling and not as welcoming as other B&Bs we’ve been to. Nobody was there to check us in when we arrived at 4:50 pm. No note or anything, even though I had emailed our arrival time, which was within their normal hours. The hostess showed up about 10 min later, a little blasé. No happy hour snacks as advertised on their own website, and no explanation of why not. Just wine or beer, which were plentiful. On the positive side, the room was clean, comfortable, cool, and dark enough in the morning, The other guests were fun to talk to.

The Addison is a MUST DO property if you’re staying on Amelia Island. Walkable ton restaurants and shopping. Easy drive to the beach. We’re already planning a return trip.

The comfort and personal treatment

Beautifully restored old inn. Accomadations are first class. The owners are on site and super friendly. Breakfasts, on the verranda, were wonderful. The Inn is a very short walk to the historic district, lots of great resturants and shopping. Short drive to the beach. Highly recommended.

The room was very clean and nice. The service was great.

The Addison is everything that a B&B should be! Lisa and Ron are relaxed hosts and offer a comfortable welcoming atmosphere. The Addison is ideally located so we could enjoy the town, walking everywhere, as well as the beach and greenway. We will be back!

The only recommendation for change would be the breakfast offering. Quality of the offering was marginal for the price being paid

A true historical beauty on Amelia Island

We had a lovely stay! The inn itself is clean and well-maintained. I felt like I was stepping back in time. Lisa and Ron are excellent hosts, and their pup Molly is so sweet. From the minute we walked in, we felt welcome. Guests were gathered in the front room for happy hour, which added a festive feeling to our New Year's Eve. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable - we enjoyed the (seasonal) use of the fireplace, as it got quite cold the evening of our stay. Amenities are plentiful - we wished we could have stayed for breakfast as it looked just wonderful. If you stay here, you are very close to historical Center Street and can easily walk to the myriad shops and restaurants. Will absolutely stay here again, hopefully longer!

Local Gem

We had a very enjoyable stay at the Addison. The B and B is beautifully decorated and Lisa and Ron were friendly, knowledge and accommodating. The location is ideally situated for walking to all parts of Fernandina Beach. Lisa provided delicious breakfasts and the happy hour was a great way to mingle with other guests.

Location was perfect. Never visited Fernandina Beach on Amelia Island. The small village is charming with many small shops. It's easy to walk or bike around. Lisa and Ron were great innkeepers. She suggested Amelia Tavern for a good burger. Breakfast was incredible!

Grannies on the Go

Excellent experience. The Addison is a great place to stay. It was clean and the breakfasts were very tasty. There was a dining room but we ate outside on a porch. They even provide for beach needs like chairs and umbrellas. The Inn is about 4 walking blocks from the shopping and restaurant district. One note-some of the bedrooms are upstairs with no elevator. We are already planning a return trip.

Everything was wonderful. the Inn keepers are super friendly and such wonderful hosts. The house is lovely and the gardens were beautiful. Meals and refreshments were a fun time and good food. what more can I say?

This is one of the best B and Bs we have ever visited. We highly recommend it and plan to visit again.

The site is right to the center of the village. Quit, clean and charming. Bravo to Lisa and Ron for their service .. Strongly recommanded.

With several Bed & Breakfast's in the area it was tough to single out just one when staying in Fernandina Beach for the first time. We enjoyed it so much we are already planning a return trip and plan to stay at The Addison each and every time.

This is an exceptional place in a beautiful setting run by a professional and gracious couple. My wife and I throughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to our next trip to Fernandina Beach and Ron and Lisa's Inn.

The Inn Keepers Lisa and Ron greeted us by name, provided many different amenities throughout the day, included a nice Happy Hour on the verandah each evening!

Amazing place, great hospitality, Ron and Lisa were awesome!

The service was exceptional. Everything was very clean and well kept. I have special dietary needs and we were a last minute booking so it was taken care of on the fly. We will be staying again when we return.

Amazing B&B

We had an amazing time at The Addison on Amelia Island. Lisa and Ron were very accommodating. We walked to great restaurants and a cute downtown area. We will definitely come back and stay here again. And highly recommend this cute and cozy B&B.
